Did not meet my 5 star standard.

Nice hotel, good food but terrible service from maid to restaurant staff. We are very forgiving people but after our first complaint in regards to the staff and how loud and noisy they were we were told it would stop. It didn’t even after the second complaint. We decided not to mention it again not worth our time trying to fix something they were obviously not concerned about.

Amazing!!

No complaints on this resort, food was great, people were great, beach is amazing and drinks were great. My only recommendation is the Platinum should be 16+, the Platinum pool has no shallow end and little kids were in there with water wings, other pools and the water park would be better suited for the Children then the Platinum pool. It is a bigger resort but we never waited more than 5 minutes for a train.

Amazing resort

This newly renovated resort is one that you do not want to miss out on. Paying the extra for a Platinum room was well worth the cost. The beach, ocean and pools were perfect and the food was particularly good

The only resort for us

This was our second stay at the Bavaro Princess. The first was two years ago for our honeymoon and we had an incredible time. This time was for our 2nd wedding anniversary, and we had an even better time. We went with our 7 month old daughter. The staff made us feel like family, always smiling and attending to our little bundle of joy. This is definitely a family friendly resort. One tip is to have your breakfast buffet by the beach in El Gaucho for a more intimate experience instead of the sometimes crowded main buffet in the lobby. We plan on going at least yearly for the rest of our lives. We found our paradise.

Enjoyable Vacation at Bavaro Princess

Every effort was made to make the room comfortable. It was enjoyable to walk through the grounds and see the tropical plants, palm trees.beautiful flowers, flamingos and peacocks. Great care was taken to keep the grass and plants watered and looking beautiful. The room was cleaned and necessary items such as towels were supplied. If we needed anything, all we had to do was call and it was provided without delay. The people were very friendly and made every effort to make our visit enjoyable. Ma [... read more]nfre and Daniel at the reception were very helpful. Jordan was so energetic and entertaining teaching dance and aerobics at the beach. The various restaurants and the food was well prepared and delicious.

Wonderful and relaxing stay!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Bavaro Princess. My room was clean and well maintained and the grounds were beautiful. The food was amazing and great selection. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I stayed in the Platinum accommodation and it was everything described. I would definitely recommend Bavaro Princess and look forward to coming back!

Perfect holiday

Beautiful resort. The grounds were well taken care of on a daily basis. The staff was fantastic. Our 4th time at this resort. We brought my sister for her 1st all inclusive and she was very impressed! The only item is that the rooms are a bit dated, other than that we could not have asked for a more relaxed and pampered holiday!

Tranquil and relaxing

the hotel is very clean and modern, staff is professionial and inviting. This was our first time to punta cana and were already plannimg our next trip back to the same hotel. The beach was very clean and there was always enough lounges. Overall it was a amazing first trip. So thankful for the great weather and people. Only downfall would be the aggressive sales people everywhere.

Amazing Resort....

This is a large resort, and very amazing. The people there are so polite and the service was great. The rooms are very nice and could use a little update(Gardenview). But other than that I have nothing negative to say, highly recommend this resort to anyone.

Stunning resort

A great resort, fantastic rooms, staff is great food good, but the recreational staff need to do more with guests. In a whole week they only got the guest doing games once for about an hr. They played more volleyball than the guests as some guest sat on the sidelines waiting to play while they were playing, shouldn’t happen it should be for guests to play and they supervise unless short. Great resort

The resort was well kept. The food was great and you had a lot of choice of restaurants. My favorite one was the Steakhouse. Amazing filet mignon! The staff from reception, breakfast, lunch, dinner and the resort were all so friendly. They were all there to help you. The only thing that I would have to complain would be the entertainment at night. The room very nice. Beach and pool great. A bit run down

We had to upgrade when we got there due to the rooms booked being about a 15/20 min walk to the beach(not ideal with a baby). They have a tram that will take you around the resort however does not come consistently. Also a negative it runs by all day and all night. The grounds were well kept the pools were both dirty and old. The food was good however dinners at restaurants started at 6 Buffett was at 6:30: found this to late with a young child to actually enjoy any dinner. The suites were very nice as were the employees. It was a comfortable place with beautiful grounds. The best breakfast was at the restaurant by the beach. The daily volleyball was good and the beach was nice.

Good and bad

good food beach train does not go around enough it is totally out of control the vendors on the beach and at the resort they never leave you alone casino sucks and no free beer on the weekend they let the locals invade the place and are very rude

A must visit amazing resort

me and my family were amazed with the stuff friendly welcome when we arrived. we loved every aspect of this resort. very friendly stuff with great smile all over we went. i would like to make a special comment about Jose and Rafael the two most amazing people at the pool bar who made our vacation extra special. thank you Bavaro princess for having stuff like Jose and Rafael. rooms are very clean and comfortable, food is great. I would recommend this resort to anyone.

Nice 4 star resort.

Resort was pretty nice. Not a five star but a solid four star for sure. Nice wide beach good size swimming pools. Suites were large. Platinum club not worth the extra money unless money comes easy to you. Takes time to get any issues resolved - like 4 days to get ac replaced. Food and drinks were ok. Beach vendors and seaweed not an issue. Wait staff was ok. Like really nothing to say wow. Just an ok place to take a break at. Would I go back. Beautiful Resort

The hotel was our second stay. .grounds were spectacular..beach was clean and refreshing. People are absolutely friendly and warm..we stayed in platinum and will continue to come to this resort. Family feel..great kids area..platinum lounge was accommodating..the only downside is the nagging from the vendors.

Best part on Barvaro Beach

The whole resort was beautiful and well maintained. Gardens were beautiful food was good, drinks were on the sweet side, wine was OK but not great. Main Pool and beach was awesome. Kept warm and clean and the ocean was pristine and also warm. there was alot of seaweed washing up. but they were constantly bagging it up and removing it. Rooms were well maintained and beautiful, even if you stay in the basic ones. The resort is big so you are forces to use the shuttle, but they run frequently. You are in the middle of Bavaro beach so you can walk both ways for at least an hour and a half each way. Loved it! Vendors were extremely pushy even on the night that the let them into the resort for market night. Rain forest is pretty in the day and at night and they have well lit trials to walk on thru them.I would definitely recommend and of the Princess resorts on Bavaro beach. We checked them all out on our walks, and I would stay in any one, whatever is cheapest!

Great Resort

Dining was excellent with many alternative restaurants Beach was outstanding Grounds were groomed beautifully Rooms were all well laid out Pool was large with popular swim up bar Very pleasant staff very helpful Our room had a small leak from bathroom ceiling which was reported before leaving

Great spot! Would return!!

The hotel/grounds were huge. The place is immaculate, and beautiful. Had a great time, enjoyed the beach, and both pool areas. I personally never had a bad meal, one of our party did however have a bad steak (the striploin, it was horrible) at the steak restaurant. I would definitely return to this spot and would highly recommend to friends.
