Unbelievable resort

Everything was pristine, only complaint was lack of english known by staff. Food was amazing, resort was very clean. Very friendly employees with some a small few having bad attitudes. ten out of ten.

Paradise!

The Majestic Elegance Resort in Punta Cana was fabulous! The setting is idyllic, positioned on the beautiful oceanfront beaches, with immaculately maintained grounds and gardens. There is a very nice spa offering a variety of pampering treatments. The well equipped gym is clean and very useful to help burn off some calories after indulging at the buffet, or one of the many restaurants. The buildings of the resort are clean, well maintained, and architecturally interesting, allowing the ocean breezes to blow through. I highly recommend this resort.

Excellent Resort

We had upgraded our room to the Elegance Club. We were disappointed in our room when we first checked in. It was on the ground floor facing a road, not very private, room 4121. More importantly, the room smelled of cigarette smoke and felt unclean. The pillows had a used smell and there was a greasy hand print on one of the bathroom glasses. The a la cartes were good, but we felt that the buffets were lacking in food choices. We had stayed at the Colonial Majestic a few years earlier and the selection at the buffets there was amazing!

Amazing resort

We had a bit of a rocky start,when we arrived we were put into a room we did not request but was assured that it would resolved nextday.The rooms we were assigned were excellent and more than we expected to get.This is the 2nd time this year we have gone to the majestic,for good reasons.The staff with out any exception provided the best customer service anyone would want.They couldnt do enough for us. Excellent resort

This resort is beautiful. We stayed in the adults only club section and it was well with the upgrade. Although we were told that the resort was full, we never waited for a table or had any difficulty finding a lounger at the beach or pool. Service in all areas was top-notch. Loved our butler, Orlando, who took every opportunity to enhance our stay. We will return and definitely recommend this resort

Beautiful and clean

The hotel is huge ... but seemed still very pleasant and quiet . Plenty of space for any groups to be in the pools .. Beaches were well kept and lounges available easily .. Staff were equally as pleasant ... prepare for your beach outing to be regularly ‘visited’ by cigar, sunglasses, jewelry etc... vendors

Fantastic Resort!!!

This was my second time and I was not let down. The staff was wonderful the resort is gorgeous and I left relaxed. Great food , great time and most of all great memories. We’re planning to return again. Thank you!!!!

Vacation of a lifetime!

My family and I have so much to say about this resort! First off, our agent Kateryna was the best in helping us plan this trip! We went to the resort from June 21-28. When we arrived to the resort everything was handled so smoothly from our baggage to check in. After check in, we saw the rooms and they were beautifully decorated and clean. The staff at Flavours were also one of our favourite parts of our trip! Our usual staff Carlos Doñe, Jorge Luis, Rigoberto itol, Luis Galay and Franklin were absolutely amazing! They made every breakfast and lunch lively, relaxing and provided excellent service all the time. Also, Masiel Jizordo and Yadari and Wanda who would greet us and show us to our tables always made us feel welcome and were so kind! Furthermore, the restaurants options for dinner were amazing and we absolutely loved 9 doors and Il Bottacio. On our anniversary we had dinner at Lim. Gourmand and Pastor decorated the table and absolutely blew us away with the service they provided for our anniversary night! Francisco and Felix who served us during Dominican night were so helpful. Everyone at this resort are doing their best to give the best service and it shows! The entertainment group are awesome and always trying to get people to be involved which is great for people that want to have fun! Cheeky monkey and Sunday Romero are fun and know how to dance! The beach is beautiful and the water was amazing. The only downside was the seaweed on the beach but the resort did the best they could to clean up the beaches and it got better. The drinks were great and my daughter loved the Sammy Sosa drink and I would recommend the Majestic drink and Miami Vice! Everyone at the resort made our second vacation in Punta Cana perfect! We will be returning to this resort again! And we thank the resort for making our vacation worth it!

Wildly exceeded expectations!!

We were originally booked in at the Majestic Elegance but they were unable to meet our specific room request so they gave us a free upgrade to the Majestic Mirage with VIP access to all 3 resorts including all restaurants and shows. This also came with a room with a rooftop Jacuzzi and a butler for the week - amazing!! Not to mention all the free perks with the room at the Mirage including complimentary Champagne and other assorted alcohol which we were encouraged to bring home any we did not us [... read more]e, beautiful golf shirts and hats. We ate like kings and queens every day - the food was superb!! What we found made the difference, was the people/staff who went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and entertaining as possible. This was our first trip to an all-inclusive resort and we are not really lay on the beach kind of travelers but we were blown away by the excellent time we had thanks to the hard working folks at the resort. Thank you to all - it was a fantastic trip we would love to do again !!!

Best Resort in Punta Cana!

Excellent service, great beach, clean, fun, an absolutely perfect vacation spot in Punta Cana. We've visited multiple resorts on Bavaro beach and Majestic Elegance stands head and shoulders above the others. We will definitely return next year!

Amazing Majestic Elegance

Well I was a bit concerned before leaving for trip of all the negativity on rooms being overbooked and poor quality at resort. I was greatly relieved to get there and not have a problem in this area od concern at all. We had a room very close to where we requested with our other couple we travelled with. One couple that met us there had not booked club and we had hoped to upgrade but on arrival it was full up so they couldn't that day. they were told to request in next couple days but they d [... read more]ecided not to bother. They were happy with their room and it was close to us. We managed nicely with the 3rd couple as we were able to go to ala cartes together and do various activities. We spent time at the swim up pool bar with them and also used our club perks as well. The butler Joan, was very attentive and we saw him every day. In fact he also was great with our other guests. We didn't pay him a exorbitant tip, but we did tip him appropriately. The rooms were very clean and our cleaning lady Oneil was always on time and our rooms done early each day . The bartender Felix in the main lobby was very entertaining as well as Maxima and the bartending staff at the swim up bar . The staff at the Buffet was always smiling and cheery as well as the a la carte staff we used. Forget our cook at the Japanese restaurant but was very helpful in making sure if you didn't like the seafood you still had the other food as well. He was very entertaining as well with his little show for us. This was our 2nd time at the Elegance and would not hesitate to go back again very soon. In fact, my brother in law is intent on a swimup with the two rooms next time.

Tropical dream resort

What a fantastic resort. My compliments to all staff. Enjoyed their broad smiles, always. Excellent variety of food to please everyone's palate. The grounds were so beautifully landscaped. Our swim up accommodations were very pleasant to the eye. Alphonso, our butler, made himself available to us. What a nice man. Housekeepping staff are to be commended for their daily cleaning of the room. The bars, the beach and the nightly entertainment kept us very amused. Amazing resort

Loved everything about the majestic elegance . The grounds were super clean the rooms were perfect! The staff were all great but especially our butler Joan . He was so attentive. Checked on us every day. The buffet was always good. Lots of choices and delicious

The hotel is excellent, the grounds are beautiful and well kept, the restaurants and food was top notch! The staff go out of their way to make your holiday excellent. Plan on returning to any of the Majestic Resorts in Punta Cana!

Amazing Resort

The Majestic Elegance in a amazing resort with amazing staff that treat you like family. The staff actually get to know you and always are smiling and happy to greet you A+ for the staff. The grounds around the resort are beautiful and really well cared for. The food is spectacular, never had a issue the 7 days we were there. Beautiful Place

Beautiful place amazing weather. Couldn't get more then 2 mini coors light beer in the fridge, no matter how much we tipped. We went to guest services and they said all you get is 4 a day, but we could only get 2? I wanted club soda, not flavoured pop and ended up with tonic water, club soda never happened.The shower flooded the room on Sat. They cleaned in up and brought us a dehumidifier. The leather pad on the desk wreaks of mold and should be eliminated, wrecks an otherwise beautiful room. W [... read more]e went from Fri to Fri, I ended up in hospital for 30 hrs on Wed in anaphylactic shock, still not sure what from. I have to carry an epi pen now. I wish I could do it over again, and come back with better memories. This is a little piece of heaven, just wish my trip had a happier ending. If I had paid full price I would have been very disappointed.

Amazing resort - Amazing beach - Amazing room!

The ride from the airport was less than 25 minutes - a bonus! When we arrived all of the staff were friendly and there were no issues with getting into our room. "Elvis" was the staff member who helped us to our room and he was great! He gave us information on where everything was and was pleasant to chat with. Our room - was AWESOME! We have stayed in a number of places in the Caribean (Some extremely expensive - some not) and by far this was the best room we have ever had! Having two teenage boys with us in a room is usually cramped - but they had set up two beds in the living room area and we had our own private room. The grounds were beautiful and well cared for. The beach front was beautiful! Loved being able to walk more than 5 feet and finding garbage or having to turn around because there was no more beach to walk on - this beach stretched for miles and was clean! The food was okay - it wasn't great or amazing. We didn't get sick or anything, but it wasn't the best food we have had on vacation. So, if you're looking for great accommodations, amazing beach, and friendly people - I would recommend this resort. Only word of CAUTION - it has nothing to do with our resort - but walking on the beach be aware of representatives from the new Royalton Resort that is a few doors down. The rep asked if we wanted a tour of the new resort - there is a water slide and we had stayed at a Royalton before and were curious. We said sure sounds good. When we got into the resort we were approached by a woman who said we would be speaking another person who was going to have lunch with us and then show us around the resort. The rep came up and introduced himself and then said he would need 90 minutes of our time to talk about a program 'Travel Smart" We instantly told them we were not interested and wouldn't be signing anything. He said we could still have lunch and talk about it. We had lunch, it was ok, then he brought us back to a business room and proceeded to question us on what we spent to get there, what our interestes were and so on. Again we said we weren't interested. It didn't matter he goes on to say "I don't want to argue with you..." We weren't arguing - he raised his hand and a female came over and started all over again. then the woman said "Well you said you wanted free things" - OKAY - we didn't say any of those things - we thought we were getting a tour of the new Royalton and possibly getting our kids permission to use their water park... LONG and short of this is - They were VERY VERY pushy and when asked if I could take the information with me to make a decision - they said NO...Red flags ALL over this. My point in including this in this review is the following - Majestic - AMAZING!!! Royalton - SHAME on you for misleading people off of the beach and having pushy, irritating, highly aggressive salespeople (Who would not listen to anything we were saying - only wanted to get the sale 30,000 American dollars) trying to push a TIMESHARE idea on people. We had an amainzg time at the Royalton in the Mayan Rivieria - but because of this experience we will not be visiting a Royalton again. Horrible experience!

Great resort, exceeded expectations

First class hotel, with excellent service. Well kept and clean. Superior buffet and Italian restaurant. Special advance room request was handled without s hitch. Best for adults or families with older kids. Would return any time.

Wonderful Holiday

I must admit the entire resort was amazing. The grounds were clean and they were constantly cleaning everywhere. The food I found very good except the Japanese restaurant which I found better at the Colonial. The meal they put on for Christmas (Christmas Eve) was amazing. The beach well what could I say amazing. I stayed at the adult side and if you want a wonderful great butler you have to get Santiago. He is the best.

Fantastic Christmas

This resort was the perfect fit for our family of 7. We stay in the elegance. Beautiful grounds, clean, beautiful beach. Food was good as far as all inclusive goes. The entertainment team was fantastic. All super friendly and very out going. A great family expierence
