Awesome vacation

My family and I (kids aged 7 and 10) spent one wonderful week (April 9-16) at this resort. I was there to attend the wedding of a family member. I have traveled to a lot of all-inclusive resorts and must say this one tops them all. The same opinion was shared by family and friends who attended the wedding. The food was great, we only went to two à la carte restaurants and this was only due to the fact that the food at the buffet was great. The pool and beach were great and well maintained; I fo [... read more]und you could always find a lounge chair with shade no matter what time of the day you went. The staff at this resort, are the ones who make this resort special, they cared about their guests and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone and would go back in a heartbeat.

Great Resort

The Hotel was fantastic. The staff are really very friendly and willing to please. My husband and I were impressed. Our week's stay was very enjoyable. The food was great and offered a variety of choices.

Great Resort

We had a wonderful time at Iberostar Rose Hall Suites. We were on a family vacation which included our brother's wedding. The resort was very clean, staff were friendly and very attentive and there were lots of options for activities that we didn't even want to leave the resort. The group we were with included a total of 14 children - all under the age of 13 - they had the time of their lives. Friendliest place ever

The service was beyond excellent,the staff were amazing,the food was mmmmmmmm great,the room service amazing ,the waitstaff were so friendly they remembered your names they were sincere in asking about our trip they made you feel at home

Beautiful resort, amazing staff!

Absolutely loved this resort. True 5 star. Food, staff, room, pool, beach! Loved it all. We went snorkelling in front of the resort everyday. We did the dolphin cove and Dunn's river falls excursion. Norman was our tour guide and Scott easier driver. They were awesome!!! We also did a catamaran ride to a reef for some snorkelling with a stop at Margerittaville on the way back. Such a seeetheart! Alwayne made my omelette every morning and he never disappointed. Such great service. If u want pasta at the buffet ask Randel to put some thing delicious together for you. You will be treated like gold! We will be back!

Fantastic resort with absolutely the best service!

Our family of 4 were floored by the beauty, cleanliness, fantastic service and great suites at the IRHSuites!! Our suite was spotless and the the cleaning staff were fantastic and polite! The food at every turn was so delicious! We are in 2 of the specialty restaurants which were very good. Our 2 daughters (14&12) loved eating in the buffets though as there was a bountiful selection that was mind boggling! The service st every bar and restaurant or in the music bar was fantastic!!! One night all [... read more] I ate was fish and seafood...beautifully prepared mahi mahi/tuna/lobster tails/fresh shrimp/tuna and sushi. They had tenderloin steak that perfectly prepared (at both steak rest and buffet..we all like it Med rare). We drank our sparkling wines from glass stems, drinks in glass tumblers etc...no soft plastic anywhere! If we were outside, the drinks were served in hard plastic. the pool was clean and warm as was the beautiful blue sea that the infinity pool overlooked. We spent a day at a diff hotel for the night as it allegedly had the best Waterpark..,NOT. It's drinks were all premade, food was only ok and little selection. Our drinks were made from scratch and were soooo yummy. 24 hour room service food was delicious as well! Our girls LOVED the spaghetti. Their pizza was fantastic. I CANNOT say enough good things about this resort. It was totally ALL INCLUSIVE. We will for sure go back to this resort. Our suite was so spacious and crisp. Large shower with huge tub. We ended every night in the music bar chatting about our day and having a sambucca. They even put an odd number of coffee beans in the drink! DEFINITELY take in the orientation for no other reason than to hear repeatedly to put on suntan lotion!!! DO NOT FORGET your suntan lotion like we did as it is $27 US in the shop. That was painful. You need a hat, uv protection water shirt and lots of suntan lotion. We took our own Costco purchased goggles and snorkel though you can get them there to use. Don't forget water shoes as their are some little urchins out in the snorkling area. our girls did the 2 seater parasailing and they loved it! We all did the TWO dolphin swim (ultimate) and it was worth it. What we did not really enjoy much was the Dunn Rivet climb as our guide dropped us at the check in and we ended up waiting 45 min for a large group of SLOW folks. You don't just go with your own family and have to hold hands in a long row the entire way up... No fun. I would pass on that and just do the Dolphins. Pants for men req at certain restaurants. We had one nice lightweight outfit each. Sun dresses for woman at night = perfect. Take lots of US $1s as you WANT to tip the waiters in buffet and bars as their service is insanely good, not because your drinks aren't good etc... We left 2-3$ each rest/buffet and a1$ every drink...or every other. WONDERFUL WONDERFUL service, doors opened for you, hot delicious coffee and milk etc...I can't say enough about this place. We took a cab from the airport to resort for $35 and well worth it as you don't have to wait for everyone to get their luggage and act together to get on complimentary bus. TOTALLY WORTH IT! It was worth it on way back too as bus ended up waiting 45 min before leaving and they were suppose to leave earlier than we did with taxi. The nice thing doing it that was is that you are either there before or after bus and don't have a long line st check in that you wait for. I signed up for reggae tour the night before we left so they had my reservation and a great price. 70$ round trip for us all and only us. One taxi tried to get $150 for a 1 way... Online chat:( Go with Reggae. It's only ~ 20 min from airport to resort. After you have your luggage, just go over to Reggae Tours desk and the swiftly move you out the door and into their clean taxi. Have your bathing suit and lotion packed within easy reach as if you arrive early, you can change and go to pool while luggage waits with bellman. They will give you your pool towel cards. Also, we payed 25$ pp for the Club Mobay at the airport on return home...perfect as we did not have to stand in line for customs...they take you ahead of the line and check you through. Then you go to their air conditioned, drinks, small meals and snacks as well as wifi all complimentary while you wait to depart. TVs too. Fantastic holiday for us! Our Trip Crntral Saskia Sing was a HUGE help to me and shared tons of info. She is a go to us for future vacations!

Great Food Great Resort

This is a large, clean well run resort. I made arrangements for a top floor, king size bed, and a tub. I got what was requested. Thanks to the Desk Manager Andrea (who was on a day off on our check in day) and Orlando who checked us in. It is their smiles and spirit that keep us coming back to Jamaica. The other 12 and [... read more] 1/2 days where spent on the beautiful beach. I loved putting and rubbing my feet in the sand. I talked and joked with the life guard's Bruce, Norris and Sonja every day. They are very knowledgeable about the ocean and Jamaica’s culture. The bar service on the beach was first class. The Manager Kerry led from the front, a really nice man. He or the staff brought lemon aide in the morning and drinks by lunch. Speaking of drinks, they had lots of good quality booze for drinks, except they did not have any Canadian Whiskey (no Crown Royal, CC, 5 stars); we don't drink Bourbon Jack Daniels. I found other things to drink, like Ice coffee with Baileys, and Tia Maria. The bartenders are first rate; they make and serve the drinks quickly with a smile and a few words. Staff like Christopher, Darleen, Nicole and the rest ensured our glass (or Bubba) was full. The title of this review was great food.... With the finest Chef Managers like Patrick, Isaiah and Jerome they make sure the staffs are always making meals that will not be forgotten. I had lobster tails 4 of the 14 days and them where to die for. The entertainment team was also good with Paige, OMG, Peaches and Rick Hollywood. They talked to us every day on the beach. We came to relax and they understood why we played no games. The live music (from 7:30 to 9:30) in the bar was fantastic. We requested songs and they played them. We only watched the late show once. It was all lip synched like most resorts and we never went back. This show was run twice. I tried to talk to the Entertainment Manager Keni but she was never around. The property was spotless and always being cleaned with workers likes Orlando who never stopped working or smiling when I would say hello. The beach was kept cleaned and raked every day. My buddy Osborn always said hi when he was raking the beach. We took a little trip to the hills and the Mo Bay Dock Club. Eric (Eric’s Chillout Tours) our driver explained a lot of what we saw. He knew every tree, fruit and back roads around Mo Bay. We took some pictures and enjoyed a few minutes at the great river. The resort and vacation was great

Great quick getaway from Canadian winter

We travelled to this resort in mid February, 2016, (me, my husband and 26 year old daughter). Our arrangements through Trip Central were all complete and even the customs/immigration process and transfer was quick, efficient and not unpleasant (contrary to the last time we visited Jamaica). The grounds, staff and food were all excellent. The buffet restaurant always had a great selection, sometimes with a theme, with freshly cooked food. The Meditteranean, Gourmet and Steak restaurants were all  [... read more]great, the Italian was the weakest, in our opinion and we didn't get to the Japanese or Cajun. The included wine was certainly drinkable, though I wouldn't search it out at home. We only went to two shows. The Jamaican show was great, with the best break dancer I have ever seen, and excellent drummers and acrobats. Do skip the Miss Iberostar show which was embarrassing and degrading. I have a sun sensitivity and much appreciated that it was always possible to find a shaded lounge chair, both on the beach and around the pool. It had been raining a few days before we arrived and our ground floor rooms had a distinct damp feel and mildew smell. I asked if we could move before we unpacked, and was told that it would not be possible for 3-4 days. I quite understand if the resort was full, but felt I was treated in a rather dismissive manner. No one contacted us re our concern, even our Concierge (whose real job was to try to get you to buy into the The Prestige Club). Our only other comment re "room to improve" is that the bathroom, though spacious and clean was poorly ventilated and lit, and had no makeup mirror or soap dish. Do: - tip the staff when you can, especially the housekeepers and gardeners, not just the bartenders, who get plenty of tips. - take plenty of sunscreen - book the Luminous Lagoon tour

Amazing resort!

This resort was amazing. From the moment we entered the building we felt welcomed and relaxed. We received an upgrade to the grand when we arrived, we were so grateful, this was our first Caribbean trip, it was more than we expected. The rooms were nice, the bed was comfortable , and every time we left it was cleaned. The staff was cheerful, and always ready to help. The pools were beautiful, and well maintained. The star friends show was great we especially enjoyed the boogie nights- very talented and fun to watch. Overall we had an amazing time, we stayed 4 nights, and wish we could go back!!

Great Resort

The hotel rooms were very comfortable and spacious and were close of all the amenities. Staff were very friendly. WiFi was available throughout the hotel and beach areas. The food was very good and we enjoyed our dinners at the a la carte restaurants. However, if you are looking for a evening party experience, you may be disappointed because there are limited options.

Great vacation resort

Room were perfect as well as room service, great food, well organized, top notch installations, friendly staff absolutely nothing to say against this resort. I enjoyed everything about it. Would recommend this resort to everyone

Fantastic and clean resort

from the moment they picked us up to the moment we left, the staff was courteous and friendly. They were laughing, chatty and engaging. I am a compulsive researcher. I did research for about 4 months before deciding on this. This is the best place

Amazing Vacation, Amazing Resort!

We stayed at Iberostar Rose Hall Suites in September and we absolutely loved this resort! Check in was a breeze and because the resort was not really busy, they upgraded us to ocean view. The room was spacious, clean and super nice. Because it was low season, not all the restaurants were open but they did have the a la cartes open and 1 buffet. The food was always hot and fresh and so tasty! The food is exceptional. I've always hated resort wine but nothing to complain about here. The grounds are gorgeous and the pool was beautiful. The beach was great but be careful when you first walk into the ocean, there are many rocks but once you pass them it's clear. The resort staff was nothing short of exceptional. They were so nice and friendly and always remembered your name. always so warm and happy. The weather was beautiful everyday. They had a beach party which was really fun too. I believe they have one once a week. We loved this resort and can't wait to go back!!

Amazing 5 Star Resort..

Hotel was amazing.. Grounds perfect.. Food amazing.. Out standing Hotel..the one thing I liked about this Hotel.. No Food by the pool.. Nice and clean.. There's always staff walking around making sure your ok.. If you need drinks.. Amazing..

Top notch resort

We had such an amazing time at this resort.Everything is so clean, staff is so nice, rooms are great, the view is amazing, food is top notch.We are going back again this winter with our kids, can't wait

3rd time returning and still amazing

This is our third time returning to the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites. Food, service, and the size of the resort are a few of many reasons why we love this resort for our family of 4 (kids are 4 and 1). We found the service at this resort to be even better this time around, and the food was great as always, especially at the French restaurant. Never had any issues with our room (we were upgraded to oceanfront, which was a nice surprise) but we did notice that we had no hot water for a very short  [... read more]period of time one day - a non issue. Overall, I would not hesitate to return again in the future.

Iberostar Suites is the spot!

Rooms are nice an modern. Amazing and friendly staff. Food is Top notch! Can't get enough of it. 24 hr room service to boot :) The staff get you what you need, when you need it. The grounds are always immaculate, and the staff treat you like friends and family. Tipping is not required, but come on the average jamaican makes $20-30 USD. The beach boys in the evening are cool, talk to them nicely and theyll be nice back, don't be afraid of them. They have cool things.

Great Stay... Except...

Great hotel, great staff, great food. However the A/C broke down for the entire hotel complex on the last two days. The heat and humidity were unbearable, in particular at night when trying to sleep. The hotel staff tried to make the best of a bad situation. We saw it as one of those things like bad weather. Guests who just arrived lost out on the opportunity to eat in the a la cart restaurants because they were closed, because without A/C it was just too hot to be indoors. The hotel was smart,  [... read more]they moved the entire dining room to the beach for a beachfront dining experience that was actually quite good. Although the onsite tour rep from Airtransat Holidays was excellent, his ability to assist was limited. I fault Airtransat Holidays, I expected at least some follow up communications from them after returning to Toronto. One month later I have heard nothing. I also fault Iberostar for not having better maintenance of the AC. If I was their management, I would have put a repair crew and parts onto a plane and flown them in from wherever to fix the system in such a large hotel complex. Shame on you both, for only those reasons I may consider not going back to an otherwise lovely country and nice hotel.

Amazing resort!

This resort was awesome! Everyone who works there was amazing! Great service, awesome food, clean, fun, Starr friends amazing! Housekeeping awesome! Room always taken care of everyday! Pool is awesome and beach is beautiful. Many chairs available and always clean towels available. Love the people that work at this resort they really make your vacation a good one!

Iberostar Rose Hall Suites

Everything was amazing: food, beach, pool except that the last two days of our stay the air conditioning broke. The hotel did not say or do anything. Awaiting Air Transat rep. will be in contact with us from April 29th.
