Wedding party

My husband and I had a marvelous week at Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton. We were there for our daughters' wedding. Service was excellent, staff so friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. Rooms were beautiful and cleaned daily. Outside staff kept the resort looking nice.The beaches were amazing especially Sunset Cove. Lots of beach chairs and shade available. I am unable to walk far and loved the constantly running shuttles . So important. Lots of beach toys to try. Amazing resort

This is our favourite resort..... The staff are wonderful....the food is delicious....the resort is huge but they have shuttle service for those who need it. The shows were great...Poisideon, blue lagoon, and the cafe upstairs are the very best. Shout out to Claudia ( Our fav waitress at Poisideon); Rayjay ( our shuttle driver called us every night to see what time we wanted a drive)and Jean (best waitress at the infinity lounge) to name a few! Amazing Vacation Resort

Would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking to book in Jamaica. Staff was friendly and attentive, grounds and facilities were kept spotless and rooms were updated (Lady Hamilton side)..... very close for day trips to Nigril and only 45 minutes from the airport. Small beach area but completely private. Pool area was amazing (largest in Jamaica).... there were lots of lounge chairs and shaded areas for everyone.... never felt crowded even though the resort was at max capacity [... read more]. Food was good at all restaurants and only for the Asian restaurant did we require a reservation. VERY RELAXING..... Would definitely book again!

Great times

Great resort, lots of choice for food, all excellent. Good service at the adult pool, which is where we spent most of our time. All the staff are friendly and this made for a great holiday. Our fourth time here and will be back.

Fair Resort

Where do we begin as there were many things that we did not expect! We will list our not so good experiences in point form below: · Cleanliness of our honey moon villa lagged…. The debris that was under our bed when we arrived was still there when we left. The cleaning of our sinks was often overlooked and we are not sure if the outdoor shower was actually cleaned during our stay. · International restaurants did not serve authentic international food. Restaurants are run [... read more] by local people who try to cook international cuisines – the outcome is far from what we know and expected. · Water bottles were only available in our villa or at the front desk. We were able to get water bottles at the front desk the first week but during our second week of our stay we were told by the desk staff that they did not have any water……. we were stunt to receive such replies, simply unbelievable!!!!! · Red wine options was a real let-down – the red wine offered was made in Spain and only Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon were available. The Merlot tasted like vinegar and quite often restaurants ran out of the Cabernet Sauvignon. We feel that this is just not acceptable as this is an all-inclusive vacation and we paid plenty of dollars to enjoy our vacation. · The buffet food offered at the main restaurant lagged creativity – it appeared they took the approach of ‘feeding the herd’. Chickens and meat with bones were hacked with a cleaver and hidden in all kinds of sauces, mainly dark sauces – not very appealing to the eye. We ordered a shrimp wonton soup at the Asian restaurant and the shrimps were not covered in dough. When we were finished with our meal, we were told that they had run out of flower to make a shrimp wonton soup… · Fresh fruit selection was limited, water melon, pineapple, papaya were the main fruits and when bananas were available most of the time they were soft and mushy. Sad, considering we were in a tropical island…… Furthermore, the upkeep of the resort lagged attention to detail. The fountain and water bed at the main entrance at Lady Hamilton was not working and debris and diapers were floating in the water bed. The walls surrounding the water fountains and water bed were gray and tiles/stucco were damaged. The large outdoor roll-down drapes were either ripped or hung crooked and were also very dirty. The overall upkeep of the grounds in the resort lagged was not very good. We hope that our review will be put forward to the Spanish and Italian owners of this resort and hope that more attention to detail will be exercised as well as an improvement to offering international cuisine that actually tastes and looks like international cuisine. Great resort!

This place is very grand, and very large! We did a lot of walking from on end of the resort to the other, preferring to walk rather than wait for shuttles. The food and drink were fine as well, and our room bar was restocked daily with drinks. We saw no snacks in our room, but did not need any. The beds were comfy, bathrooms very large and quiet for the most part - the tree frogs were loud when we were there just before Christmas 2017. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.  [... read more]One note of caution however, is about the nightly show in the auditorium - some are not so family friendly so best to find out before hand what is on the billboard!

Fantastic place, food, dining, activities for all

The hotel is being upgraded which lends to a fantastic clean resort. The staff are very respectful courteous and friendly. 3rd trip to this resort with a group of 10. We will be going back in a few months

Beautiful resort!

We had an amazing week at the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton! The resort was beautiful, the service was excellent, and there was a good variety of food. We were there with our toddler and she had a great time in the kids pool area. There is definitely something for everyone. We will definitely go back!

Fabulous resort!

This is an amazing resort! The hotel staff are exceptional, the grounds immaculate, the food superb, and the rooms are fabulous! This is my second time coming to this resort, and Was pleasantly surprised that all the rooms had been updated. Great decor!

Amazing Resort

The Resort was just beautiful and the staff was excellent. Would love to go back at some point. I'm really missing it now. The pool was amazing the food was excellent, rooms were clean. Towels were always there rooms were cleaned promptly if you had questions they were always answered and always there were an abundance of bottled water and pop. The resort has the best most friendly staff ever.

Love this resort!

Went back for the third time and stayed on the Lady Hamilton side. Was great as usual. The food was great (The Mexican still needs a lot of work) The Jerk hut now has pork as well as chicken and both were so good. The buffet had great choices. The sports bar is the best ever!! Food was so so good. The bob marley drinks were great. And the best news ever FREE WIFI !!!!! Only complaints are that the beds are so hard that my back was hurting really terrible by the last day. I am also not sure wh [... read more]at was up with the TV. The channels were pretty much non existent and I like to watch it at night. Water shoes are still a must!!! And the snorkeling at sunset beach was still a highlight.

Beautiful Resort

I loved our room, the variety of food was great! Most of the staff was very friendly. The beach wasn't the greatest. Just not long enough for a walk. The bars ran out of Bob Marley drinks for 2 days which was sad. No Bob Marley's in Jamaica???? 😩 The entertainment team should announce the daily activities a lot more. We missed a lot because we didn't even know that they were happening.

Fantastic place

This was my first time to Jamaica and I'm glad it was at the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton ... this resort is absolutely beautiful..the pools are super and the food in all the restaurants I went to was great.. I'm a very picky eater when I travel away from home but I had no issues with any of the food whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this place. The rooms were clean and we had house keeping twice a day when you travel with air transat. No complaints at all.

Amazing Resort

The hotel was fabulous. It is very clean. The staff was super friendly. Always looking to help any way they can. We didn't have any issues. Loved the pools & bars. Never a shortage of pool chairs.

Hot days in paridise

We had a great room in the lady Hamilton wing, Schuttle service was excellent. Really like the covered walk ways. Rained daily, dranage was also excellent. Liked the beach choices, nice and clean ....loved the adult retreat Totally happy with those who served drinks ...in the bars and at the beach. Visited many resterant for supper...all of my choices were great...my husband complained about his steak, although we are from Alberta and rave about our beef. The week we were there the appitser [... read more] menu did not seem to be available, they were offering a salad bar only. One of the breakfast buffet location had trouble with their air conditioning.

Amazing Experience!

This resort blew us away! It is absolutely stunning! Food was outstanding, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The pools and beaches are lovely and well maintained. The resort was overall very clean which is really important to me. Make sure to check out the spa while you're there and get a massage!

Awesome Resort! Paradise!!

Stayed at Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton for 4 nights with a group. The resort was well beyond expectations. The thing that impressed the most was the vast amount of beautiful space the resort offers. The website doesn't do justice to the vastness of this place. There are so many options of pools and beaches that offer a nice variety of experiences from one day to the next. Then there are so many dining & entertainment options that offer the same variety of experiences throughout the evening [... read more]s. The facilities are beautiful. The food is nice. The rooms are great. It is a wonderful place to spend a week!! We would absolutely look for an opportunity to return!

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton - 7 day stay

We arrived at the resort last Saturday midafternoon to be welcomed off the bus to the famous Jamaican punch drink. Check in was fairly easy and they didn't even ask for a credit card to have on file which was different. The staff were really great, cheerful which is what you want after a long day of travel. The feel of the place is very inviting. It wasn’t the nicest resort we’ve stayed at but it had its own uniqueness. You don’t have to reserve at the restaurants so it takes away that  [... read more]stress. If it’s busy yes you put your name down but it wasn’t an issue for us, we waited maybe 10 minutes tops. We only ate at the steakhouse which is highly recommended. We ate their three times and had the french onion soup & the fillet mignon (so good!!). The Italian restaurant next to it was closed for renovations so that was disappointing as it would have been my first choice. We didn’t bother pursuing the other restaurants. The buffet the first day we were there was disappointing to my husband but after that the selection of food was much more appealing. In regards to our room we had booked the honeymoon suite so we already knew the room would be amazing. It was spacious, inviting and the hot tub you basically could call it a mini swimming pool, it was huge. This was on the Lady Hamilton side which seems to be known to be the nicer side. I think we could agree as it had the nicer beaches and additionally we had the adult pool just around the corner from our room. The main pool I stayed away from. I tried it once for a few minutes only to be disappointed as it was quite dirty and it smelt bad. The adult pool seemed better maintained. It’s not very big and to be honest the pictures on the site made it look huge. So when I saw it I was a bit of surprise how small it really was. But it was a great place to hang out and they played great music. Drinks anywhere on the resort we had no complaints. The resort carries high end alcohol which was surprising and if you asked for a strong drink you will definitely get it. Most of the bartenders were great. A few were a bit grumpy but over all I give it a 9 out of 10 for service. My husband’s favorite drink similar to Baileys was the Rum Crème on the rocks. Internet gave us lots of problems until a few days before we left. We finally met with one of the IT guy’s named Sean and all he had to do was adjust some wires and it worked great. So if you are having constant issues demand that an IT person meet with you. We were so angry by the end of the week we finally got Sean to meet with us once front desk took us seriously. I have my own business so it was something I needed to have. That was my main stress at the resort. I snorkeled (brought my own snorkeling gear) at Coral beach several times which had a good amount of fish and also had my first encounter with an Octopus which was such a treat. What I was disappointed with was there was garbage in the water which I tried my best to pick up what I could. I really hope management has one of their employees go in and clean it time to time. There is nothing worse than snorkeling to find garbage, very sad. One guest even found a piece of sharp glass. Over all it was a great experience. I would say the beaches were the nicest I’ve seen on any of our resort trips except Maui (we’ve done now Hawaii, Cuba, Florida, Mexico & Jamaica all several times) I would go back but we normally try something new each time we go away. Everything was amazing from beginning to end!!

This was a family getaway. Our children ages 13 - 28 had a blast. The food was awesome with a large variety. The service and hospitality was amazing. Friendly atmosphere. The excursions were fun. I enjoyed the spa and the spa services.
