Great resort

Resort was great , food was the best Ive had at an all inclusive! Room needs a re vamp and time share rep aka concierge was quite pushy. Staff was super friendly and service was quick! Otherwise we had a great time

First timer

The hotel itself was nice and clean. Some stuff needed updating but nothing that was detrimental to our stay. Food was excellent, staff were friendly and the beach was beautiful. Although there’s nothing specifically to complain about however we wouldn’t do this resort again. The pools are a little too small as is the resort.

Amazing Resort

Had the one bedroom Presidental Room Diamond club,well worth the money and it was great.Our butler Miguel was outstanding at making our stay pleasant and relaxing.He booked our Ala carts and free 1 hr Spa package.Checked in with us a couple times a day...The servers in the restaurants were super friendly and remembered you each time.The lady who served us in Hunters Steak house was the best as the lady at the Vespa Italian house.Pool and grounds were beautiful.Bartenders A1....Place was just the [... read more] place to go in Punta Cana forsure.Our 2nd time there....

Amazing resort

Very clean, excellent food. The staff are all very nice. Lots of activities. The rooms are nice and spacious. Beach is beautiful and you can walk a long way. The shows are fun and entertaining. I recommend this place, it was our 2nd time.

Great time

The Chic punta Cana has excellent food and drinks. Most of the staff is happy and welcoming. I think the hotel is need of some repairs as it is starting to show it’s age. We missed having a bathroom door to close off from the main room.

Beautiful

This is a lovely resort ! The room was also nice but really didn’t like the bathroom there was no privacy at all and the tiny room the toilet was in way to small. The food presentation was fantastic but wasn’t crazy about all the food. The middle eastern was my favourite and the service was great but in saying that the service was not consistent I sometimes we felt well honestly I could understand why the staff were not friendly all the time and some were friendly to others but not to every [... read more]one right in front of you so you felt like what did I do wrong always smiled and said thank you very much and tip. There was a girl at the beach and I wish I could remember her name she was fantastic she would be a wonderful example for others. Also some of the bartenders were great and some were not. The entertainment was fantastic and we had so much fun watching all the performers. In the bathrooms around the resort not all the sinks worked none of the hand dryers worked and one day there would be paper to dry your hands and the next not. Overall it was really good.

Average resort

If your looking for quiet vacation stay away from this one very loud music and not enough pool area, food was just average, rooms were clean and staff was good but wouldn’t go back. Drinks where good they even had Clamato juice which was first for me at resorts

Amazing resort - do the upgrade!

Resort was fantastic!!! We did the diamond club upgrade with swim out room and it truly made our stay. The butler we had, JOHAN, was incredible and went above and beyond every single night!! Entertainment team was also amazing! The restaurants were incredible. Highly recommend

Our Amazing Week at Chic

This resort is awesome! I travelled with my boyfriend and two other couples, so with a group of 6 people ranging from 24-30 years old, we always had something to do! Here are a few observations we had: We paid extra to get Diamond Club and in this resort it is definitely worth it as there were a lot of things that required Diamond Club in order to use it. For example, they had premium alcohol for Diamond members only (which was good because I would rather Grey Goose for Vodka rather than Skyy [... read more], which is what they serve). Diamond Club members also get their own lounge, their own sections of the beach and their own pool called the Mermaid Pool (which we found wasnt all that great since employees arent really up there so you dont really get attended to). Rooms: My boyfriend and I got a Presidential Suite and it was beautiful. One of the TVs was not working, I asked someone to come fix it and it wasnt until I asked at the Diamond Club reception that it was promptly fixed. I also found in the room that everything felt damp- we tried putting the air conditioning on and to a comfortable level with the fans on but we could not escape the damp feeling on our clothes and bed sheets. Some other little repairs in the room could be made or a little update to certain things but this did not bother us. Food: The food at Chic was INCREDIBLE! Everything we had was awesome! The Japanese and steakhouse was my fav! Our butler made sure we had our reservations every night! Thank you Ronaldo, you were amazing and made our trip! Pool/Beach: The Diamond Club beach was very very nice, we stayed here most days. Esperanza in the beach bar was awesome with us and so attentive! Thank you!! The pool was so fun and the vibe team always had something happening! Entertainment: I have never been to a hotel that had so much entertainment- the staff here work so hard to make sure you are having a good time. Huge shout out to CANDY MAN- he always went out of his way to come say hi and hang with us and make sure we were having a good time. All resorts need someone like CANDY MAN on their vibe team, he was amazing!! Each night had something happening- the "Adult Show" was amazing, with professional dancers! Amazing! Thank you Chic for a wonderful stay! We will be back!

One week vacation at Chic Punta Cana

We spent really good time with a lot of animation and big variety of food and drinks in different restaurants, It’s a five star resort, we liked our trip, we was well served by tripcentral.com Mrs Angela Douglas. Thank you again for the advises

Poor service and definitely not a 5* resort !!!

Service is extremely slow at all the restaurants. Facilities are mediocre at best and entertainment is just average. All in all, this resort is probably at 3.5/4 star. I would not recommend this place during the holiday season and I would suggest you find a place that will get you more bang for the $$ you spend.

No drinks in my room

I asked at reception the drinks which missed in my room. I talked with Sunwing représentant ( I forgot his name ) and he told me if I want to bring the drinks in Canada I should take the battle they put in my room . I didn’t receive any alcohol drinks until the final vacation. Why only in my room I didn’t have that alcohol drinks ? On the airport they asked to show a prouve of payment for my vacation and they asked me to pay for transportation from airport to Chic 70 usd . Why they [... read more] don’t believe I paid my vacation ? Why should I show that email on my phone wifi that I paid ? The attitude of Sunwing représentant in Chic is not the one he should have with people in vacation. Thank you And happy new year

Chic Punta Cana Awesome Resort!!!!!

I would highly recommend this resort! From the minute we arrived till the minute we left we where treated fabulous. The rooms where very nice, clean and excellent working air conditioning. Rubin, Anna and Clifford our concessionaires where the best. Always there to look after our every need. It was my husbands birthday when we went. On that day we received a cake and bottle of champagne delivered to our room. Joe one of our favorite bar tenders always greeted us with a smile, remembered our  [... read more]names and favorite drinks. The food was awesome as well as all the la carts. No reservations or long pants needed for the men as a lot of resorts require. Just dresses shorts. My husband was very impressed. They had great entertainment at the pool every afternoon. I miss hearing the head of the entertainment saying"Oh My Chicken". From the pool and beach service it was a truly great vacation. We will be back next year!

Great Resort

The resort was very modern, clean, unique design and great entertainment. Food was great although service was not always the fastest. The beach was beautiful and close by as the resort is small enough for a short walk to all restaurants and amenities.

Amazing Resort !!

My wife and I spent seven nights at Chic resort.This was one of the best time we had /we travel twice a year to different places/. Food was just delicious,great variety/veggies, chicken, fish,lamb ,etc.etc./Four restaurants ala carte menu with no booking necessary. The service from the kitchen as it should be , fast ,no lineups and very professional.. Amazing solo trip!

From the moment you get on the property it looks so beautiful. I opted to upgrade my room and had a beautiful ocean view and was right by all the action (main pool). The hospitality from all the staff was exceptional and they had great entertainment each night. The food options were good but I wish they had more options on the resort. Last but not least the beach area was maintained which was very nice, not a lot of seaweed. Overall this trip was amazing! Can’t wait to go back!!

Phenomenal

CHIC was an absolutely wonderful resort. On top of the fun we had, we were very well thought of often and taken care of with pride and courtesy. The staff, all of them, were incredible and made us feel at home and went above and beyond to help us celebrate our engagement. Thank you to Ana and her team for making our stay wonderful and bringing us together in your “family”! Excursions were so much fun. The crew were absolutely fantastic and ensured everyone’s safety both in the water and on the catamaran. The monkey excursion was so fabulous and worth every memory. Mimi and Pina were just WOW!!!!! They were so hilarious we couldn’t stop laughing. The horseback riding was a great time too! Joel, our guide was fantastic and a lot of fun. I cannot remember our other guides name but he too was great and had us laughing with his andele andele catch phrase. Absolutely a fantastic trip. We will definitely be back.

Good Resort

I initially booked the standard luxury room, and had to upgrade, because the toilet wouldn't flush and there is no door on the shower. After i upgraded, the room was much better so if you are gonna book this hotel just splurge a little and get the upgrade. Another issue of mine was the limited options of food, by 10 p.m. everything was closed and you have to order room service, the saving grace was the food overall was good. Great resort

The CHIC Punta Cana was a fun/entertaining type of resort. Always lively and the team works very hard for you. I really liked it. The food was top quality but apparently they changed management and the quality of service and level of alcohol that people were used to the previous year was not there. The service was slower than usual in the restaurants and bars.

Great Resort, bad environment

The resort was beautiful with great spacious rooms. The food was great everywhere we went. The one thing is that the resort staff differentiate between guest that have diamond status and others. For me, a resort that want to be classified as luxury should be providing all their guest with top service not making some of the guest feel like a second class citizen. i went with my wife to celebrate a great milestone in our marriage. the first couple of days the resort was quite and we enjoyed  [... read more]it tremendously. then the resort got busy with loud, drunken people. one of afternoons a guy decided that he will take his shorts off and show himself off, and his wife joined him and took her top off. they danced for a good 10 min before they stopped. the staff was lined up looking at them and calling around but no one stopped it. I was very offended, this is not the type of place i would like to be at. the following days there was a problem every day at the people with someone who is drunk screaming at everyone. I have been traveling every single year to the Caribbean for the past 10 years and have never seen guest with this behavior and worse, have not seen a hotel staff accepting such behavior.
