Music too loud at pool and beach. TV didn't work. I told 2 desk clerks, the maid and main person responsible for resort. Nothing done. Won't go back there. I'm alone and don't sleep much so a TV is good to have

Bonjour Kevin, Nous ne sommes pas des voyageurs difficiles alors pour nous tous s'es bien passer et les petits problèmes on été règler rapidement. 1. Emplassement: situer à 20 minutes en taxi de l'aéroport ou entre 30 à 45 minutes en autobus selon les arrêts à faire. 2. Resort comme tel: pas trop petit n'y trop vaste, un très bon juste milieu. Il a environ 25 ans et est entretenu convenablement. 3. Chambre. Première chambre (Bloque 19) n'était pas convenable. Première chose que je vérifie le [... read more] coffre fort pas fonctionnel, manque de couverture et seulement 2 vers. 3ième lit en place m'est pas de couverture. Notre agent mis au courant de la situation et le resort à rectifier amicalement la situation en nous changent de bloque (bloque 24 unité 2416 chambre parfaite pour les femmes). Ils sont en rénovation dans certain bloque pour un up grade. 4. Manger: Excellent , oui à l'occasion il peut manquer certain item mais ont ne peut ce plaindre. Service et propreté numéro 1 à tout les emplacement. (Snack bar, buffet et à la carte). 5: La force du Resort, SA PLAGE ELLE EST INCROIYABLE.

We travelled as a couple along with another couple of friends. It was a long way from airport to the hotel, about 2 hours.The hotel is nice with very well maintained grounds.The room was very clean and lovely decorated every day. The view from our balcony was amazing. The beach was clean, but rocky in the water. There are many pools enough for everyone. All the employees were friendly and helpful. Everyday, the manager was supervising the main buffet, and greeting the tourists.There wasn't much  [... read more]variety of food, almost no vegetables and fruits, but we didn't starve. Not much variety of drinks as well, and the coffee had a weird taste like burnt.The staff did their best with what they had. Junior, the most friendly barman in the resort, made us Canchanchara, a traditional Cuban drink and told us the story around it. As Premium class, we got an Exclusive dinner with music show and nice food. Entertainment was pretty light especially at night time, I believe because the resort was not so busy. Overall, for the money we paid it was great. Our butlers, Yosbel and Raciel, made our vacation wonderful. Our designated room had a mouldy smell, but Yosbel managed to give us a better room. Communication with them was flawless via WhatsApp.They made all our a la carte restaurant reservation, send us daily activities schedule, checked on us every day to see if everything is ok. We had a big surprise for my husband birthday; we requested to dine at the Japanese restaurant for the second time because we loved it first time, and Raciel made this possible. There, he decorated the spot with balloons and "Happy birthday" banner, brought us a cake with candle and a bottle of sparkling wine. Thank you guys, you are the best!

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Varadero: The Sanctuary was a True Gem

2nd time at this Vardero resort (would return for a 3rd). Fantastic dollar value including the great weather! Sanctuary provided all the needs - beach, pool, service ,foods (at the Ave del Paradiso), drinks (from the coffee to the wine) ,daily events (enjoyed the Air-Brushed tattoos and dancing with live bands at the bar). Our Hotel building manager Noel (great heart and even provided us some help when the room issued beach towel was not to be found) and the daily room service (which was a lot of hard work that should really be appreciated).. Staying on the ground floor level was quite the bonus (less stairs the better). Sanctuary adult beach had variety of daily activities and the personal on the beach ( lifeguards security and servers). Carlos , Oscar (the wiseman of the beach), Eduardo , Naomi (entertainment) Nataly at both pool and the beach bar) and of course Yuni and Roxy Hop on Off bus to Varadero was fun and a must do. Found a great restaurant in town too ("Terraza") Rating a 8.5 out of 10 :>)

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Amazing resort

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Memories Caribe Beach Resort. We opted for the Premium package and were not disappointed at all. The buffet food was excellent, with a great variety and never any shortages during our stay. The à la carte restaurants exceeded our expectations. The entertainment was fantastic, especially at the Bellini venue. The beach was the most beautiful I've ever seen in my life, and having food and beach BBQs served directly on the sand was a wonderful touch. Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Quite Incredible Resort

The grounds are so tidy and mature, blooms everywhere. The service was amazing, very helpful, fast and friendly. The staff were as good as they could be, always lots of smiles. The Premium section of beach was not as good as the main area, but no shortage of chaises and palapas. The pool was very clean and well marked as to depth. We were surprised by the variety of food, especially in the a la cartes. We had salmon three times in the week.

The hotel was awesome.needs a little paint job here and there.dining room and food were great.we don't mind cuban food.lots of variety.would recemond hotel to anyone 4 star in my rating.looking forward to next April to go again.

Memories Paraiso: Grand Memory Santa Maria

The service at the restaurant was extremely poor—if you don't tip, the waiters won't serve you. The number had a broken air conditioner—I had to have it repaired. Service is not well in restorant and beachbar.

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Holguin: Beautiful resort

This was our 2nd stay at this resort. It is still very new and kept very clean . Has an easy access to the lovely beach . Gardens are beautiful , you see gardeners working on them all day . Rooms are specious and beds are very comfortable. Staff is wonderful and very attentive. They will do anything to make your stay more pleasant. We had a great time in Holguin. As usual in Cuba there are items that are not available but staff always aim to please and make things great. Overall, no complaints once we got to the resort. Our flight from Toronto was delayed for over 7 hours which made us miss the whole first day but the rest of the trip was good. Upgrading to premium was a bonus to ensure that we had access to a butler (Marlon and Yannel). We spend most of our time at the Sanctuary Pool which was never over-crowded. The bus  [... read more]ride to the resort is close to 2 hours but is pretty scenic at least. Overall, I enjoyed my time at the resort.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Best Beach Resort!

Memories Caribe again was fun to spend time at and the beach just the best. Staff was able to accommodate my requests for my stay. Music at the piano bar was enjoyable. I do miss the Karaoke nights, please bring them back, they were fun and drew large audiences for the big stage area!

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Beautiful Resort

Just completed my 15th trip to Memories Caribe since Nov 2022. The resort is smaller than most and easy to navigate. The rooms are very clean and the staff is amazing !! The food is plentiful and the variety and quality was good. The beach is a 10/10 and like a postcard !

Grand Memories Santa Maria: Not Great

We upgraded to an oceanview room, it was very run down. Shower barely worked, door frame kept falling apart and a lot of bugs (ants and cockroaches). We booked this hotel because it was for families because we brought our 11 year old. There was no activities for kids his age. Normally there is soccer of volleyball but there was nothing. Memories Trinidad Del Mar: Memories is our resort of choice to return to; this being our sixth consecutive visit

We are a multi visit returner to this hotel. The property buildings and rooms are maintained on and on going basis year to year. Meaning they do not let it run down and then have a major renovation. The staff year to year is consistent in customer care. they are all welcoming and ready to take care of us and our needs. We year after year are welcomed back and to us its like returning to a close relatives home for a family reunion. We intend all things being equal to go back again next November.  [... read more]We also note there are a number of other Canadians we have come to know who also vacation in the same time period as us We keep in touch with many of them during the year and coordinate our vactation's with, a year in advance. yes there are minor issues at any hotel one visit's but compared to the great sea, beach, sun and hotel amenities they are minor and the staff do there best to resolve in as soon and possible. And yes we do recommend this hotel to our friends and are already planning tor nest year.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Our Favourite

We recently visited Memories Caribe in Cayo Coco for our twelfth time. Obviously, we really enjoy this resort. This time we stayed in a Premium Al Fresco room. Our flight arrived late in the evening, check-in was fast and since we are very familiar with the resort we were able to find out building very easily. Everything in our room was in working order. We also had returning guest dinner, Premium dinner, and Ambassador dinner so did not eat dinner in the buffet. The food in every a la carte restaurant was very good. We also had breakfast in the Premium restaurant which was nice. We absolutely love the beach at this resort and that is the main reason we return. Plenty of chairs under the shade and the chair guys are always speedy and helpful in getting you set up. Alain, Fidel and Yenelis at the beach bar are fabulous with their service. The snack bar and BBQ at the Premium area are very good and so convenient. The Premium beach area is fairly quiet and relaxing. We went to the Bites snackbar a couple of times and the food and drinks were great. The piano bar had music every night, but we found it too loud and crowded for our taste. Overall, we had a very nice vacation and will definitely return.

Recently spent a week at this resort. We enjoyed our stay We felt the staff were very nice. Beach was spectacular. Some of the entertainment was very enjoyable. The al a carte restsurants were good. Had some delicious meals. Buffet also had a good variety. My only concern was the cleaning of the rooms and lack of towels could be improved.

The resort was clean, and well maintained grounds. Everything was close by from our room, so short walk to beach, pool and restaurants. Short drive from airport to resort so made it best to maximize time at resort. Beach area and amenities were great. Definitely on our list to return very soon. Great staff everywhere we went. Sanctuary at Grand Memories Varadero: Grand memories Sanctuary is good value for money

Even though rooms could use updating, being prepared not to have high expectations, we had a great time. Our house butlers Carlos and Noel were very helpful and attentive. Food at the a la carte restaurants were great. The beach and water were absolutely gorgeous.

Memories Jibacoa: Great resort!

Great service, very clean. Fantastic pool and beach! Best resort in Cuba so far for good off shore snorkeling. Food at the buffet is again pretty average but a la cartes are good! Highly recommend paying the extra for premium.
