Hotel and amenities were clean and accessible. Lots to do. Food was good but service at buffet could have been much better but overall 4.5 star for sure! My children are 13 and 10. Water slides were not for them .. too old and too big but there was enough to do to keep them happy.

First all inclusive for our family was a disappointment.

The first impression was bad, and they never really recovered. The visual appearance of the property is beautiful, however the service is poor and at times non-existent. The language barrier is very prevalent and at times caused us to receive nothing while asking for something or to be given the wrong service(s). I would expect there to be service people working the general areas that people congregate. However, on at least 3 occasions we waited for 60 - 120 minutes for anyone to ask us if we w [... read more]ould like a drink. I thought tipping would help us to receive better service, but that turned out to not be the case. The smoking is unbearable. it is constant and it is everywhere. There were cigarette butts on the pool deck, all over the grounds and worst of all everywhere on the beach. The beach was really just a giant sand ash try. My youngest daughter was going to dig in the sand, but it was nothing but butts under an inch of sand, everywhere. gross. Lastly, the vendors that come around and pressure you to buy this, or buy that. I get it, they are trying to make a living, but I paid good money to relax (or try to), and to be asked 20-30 times a day if I want to go on an excursion or buy some jewelry etc... is a bit much. Not to mention, in the market place the vendors are so aggressive my daughters were afraid to go there to look for souvenirs'.

Beautiful resort but thats it

Like i said the resort was beautiful but thats where it ends.service depending what part of the resort you were at was touch and go.the outside of pool area surrounding the pool is like ice when its wet.both my children fell several times and not from running my mother ended up in the hospital from slipping after getting out of the pool several other people i watched fall.food was alright and selection is very small drinks not good at all.i have been to about 15 or more resorts and alot of them  [... read more]are bahia and i have noticed the chain is slowly going down hill.but it was a beautiful resort.nobody checked to see if my mother was fine or anything after having to be in a wheelchair for 4 days of her vacation.we have 2 children and it was always a chore to get them to restock the fridge in the rooms for them to drink.i wouldnt recomend this resort to anyone.

Top notch resort for kids

First off I'd like to say this was my 4th visit to bahia fantais in Punta cana. If you have kids thisbis the resort to go to the staff go out of there way to entertain the kids. This section of bahia has so many hidden gems like it's own pizza bar by the waterpark aswell as popsicles and icecream!. Atleast 2days a week they put big blow up slides in the main pool or all ages to use! Amazing Resort

This Resort was by far my favorite in the six years we have been travelling to Punta Cana. From the outstanding service provided by Heather from Trip Central to the Resort Staff, I have no complaints whatsoever. From the day we arrived until we left the staff were amazing and always had a smile for you. We ate at the buffets for the 12 days we were there and found plenty of variety and the food was amazing. Amazing family resort!

This resort was immaculate! So clean and the staff were so friendly. Lots to do and the kids had a ball. The food was awesome lots of variety. All in all the best family vacation we’ve ever had. We will be back!

Best family trip ever!

From the hotel to the beach, the employees and the food. Everything about this place is top! We were terrified of traveling with a 4 year old and a 1 year old but it went smoothly and the staff was very understanding. I highly recommend this place!

Great family resort

Very clean resort, felt very secure, and lots of family activities. Shows were amazing! Entertainment staff were very good with the kids. Down fall was the beach and ocean water, lots of debris from ocean plants. Also hard to get a shaded spot as people would block loungers with towels all day.

Wonderful time had by all!!

Great family vacation, family friendly with all the amenities. Totally recommend to others. The pools and entertainment were fun. Load of memory opportunities. Food and beverages average but plentiful. Kids had a blast and were well entertained. Nice and relaxing otherwise.

Very clean resort

The resort was beautiful. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were large which could my two son's family with their wife and two sons. One of the best beaches I've seen in the Caribbean. My grandsons loved the pool, water slides and the entertainment in the evening. The only thing we did not like was the food at the buffet restaurant . The food was not as good as a another resort we stayed at in Punta Cana, three other times.. Amazing trip

Fantasia is a beautiful resort perfect for kids and just as amazing for parents. We loved everything, from the food, pool, water park, service and beach will love to return again with my family and friends.

As amazing as the first time!

Returned to this hotel for a second time with our 6 y.o. son. It was as great as the first time. From the check in that was very quick, to our room, always clean and stocked with the usual, to all the restaurants ( A la carte or buffets). The service was always provided with a smile, and special attentions provided to our son. Even though hotel was near capacity, we never had to search too much to get a chair at the water park, main pool or beach side. Making our reservations at the A la ca [... read more]rte restaurants went well and food at buffet is good enough that we even cancelled an A la carte reservation one night to go back to buffet. This hotel is geared for families with children so not the best spot for a romantic getaway, but trust me, your kids will love it. No sign of the Hand, foot, mouth illness that we see in a lot of reviews. All being said, we are considering returning in December for Christmas with friends and their children

Great, family-friendly resort

The resort was beyond our dreams! The grounds were immaculate and there were so many things for the kids to do, the programming was excellent! Each night the kids had dances and there were contest on the pool deck for them to participate in. The buffet food was great and à la carte restaurants equally good (except the Tex-Mex). If you can, try the Japanese fusion and the Teppanyaki for a real treat. We only hung out at the beach a little (the waves were high and the kiddies didn't like tha [... read more]t so much) but from what we could see it was nice, albeit a little crowded. Easier to get sun chairs by the pools than at the beachfront. The rooms were really clean, however the hallways are quite echo-y and noisy, so try and remember to stay quiet at night when returning to your room in case fellow travellers are sleeping - being the family resort, many of us retire early-ish (10pm which really isn't that early). The shows were fun, however not all of them are kid-friendly so watch out for those. Mirabel, who is the kids event coordinator is fantastic and really goes out of her way to make the kids feel welcome. Drinks at the swim-up bars seem a little watered down (so feel free to pound back quite a few!) but the ones at the main-lobby are full-strength so watch out! We also did the Pirates of the Caribbean excision and it is great fun for kids. They do a good job of keeping the kids occupied while travelling out to the snorkelling, sting rays and sharks and have a fun play on the way back. We were really impressed with this trip and how well suited it was for the kids. Our friends that we travelled with did have their son contract Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease near the end of the trip so that it something to watch out for, but with a place that is this kid-friendly, I suspect the toys, etc. at the Kids Club aren't always as well cleaned as they may be here in North America. Other than that hiccup at the end, we had a fantastic time and would recommend this place to any family looking for a fun adventure in Punta Cana!

VERY NICE

IT WAS A LITTLE DISNEY WORLD. Wonderful staff, decent food, awesome activities for the kids, everywhere so clean and beautiful. All the restaurants have very good food . The employees are very friendly and helpful they go beyond helping you. They want to make sure you are happy . I would highly recommend this property because of one of the reasons the property has a lot of actives and a lot of entertainment. The beach is very beautiful and large and they also provide meals on the beach.

Fantastic resort

Rooms are large and excellent, all new with zero mold issues, extremely clean, so much for kids to do you won’t be disappointed, took advantage of access to other resorts in complex and excellent restaurants. Thank you to Deputy Mgr Jennifer who promptly sorted out a issue for me - my group was booked at AquaMarine and she made arrangements so I could eat with them - outstanding help!

Fantisia For some

This resort is set up for children. There is plenty of luxury for the adult crow also. The shows at night were lively and full of colourful costumes. However the songs are mostly in Spanish (was understandable)but my grandsons lost interest pretty quick. Was a bit disappointed in the bathrooms as only one had a urinal at kids height. I was also surprised that they didn’t have more non breakable cups for the younger kids. Mostly glass globlets . Fantasia Bahia Principe is really a great resort for families.

I would absolutely recommend this resort to parents or grandparents travelling with younger children. The grounds are well kept and clean. Pool area and water park great. Walking distance to beach. Staff very friendly and helpful..

100% completely blown away by this resort

I was blown away by this resort. Beyond my expectations and checked off everything I had dreamed of that it would be. Amazing staff, clean facilities, every need was met. Beach was amazing. Would 100% recommend this place whether or not you have kids

Amazing family resort!

We just returned and can’t say enough good things about this resort. The staff is amazing, the resort is beautiful, so many activities (our kids are 7,5 and 18 months). Well kept resort, we were nervous of the hand foot and mouth reviews but we had no issues and didn’t see anyone there that did either. Food was great for everyone, including picky eaters!
