Playa Pesquero: Relaxing.

It was spacious. The beach was great, the staff were helpful, cheerful and accommodating. The food was not amazing but it’s Cuba….We had a fantastic time. Very calm and relaxing vacation. I would recommend.

Playa Pesquero: Wonderful time at Playa Pesquera!

The hotel and grounds were wonderful! The rooms were very clean and the service by the staff was top notch. The rooms were cleaned and water was in the fridge by mid morning. I cant thank the staff enough for the wonderful warm welcome we had. Food was plentiful, some differences in what was available from previous years, but as usual the buffet restaurant had lots to choose from.

Playa Pesquero: Beautiful beach.

Big resort with lots of beautiful beach and amazing turquoise/blue water. For the most part the staff was very pleasant except a couple of the front desk personnel. Seem to do the bare minimum when it comes to providing assistance to people staying there. Due to shortages there were some things that weren't available like lobster, cola, peppers etc... and very limited vegetables offered. All in all a great experience only shadowed by unhelpful front desk staff.

Gran Muthu Almirante Beach Resort: Great hotel to rest

In general the hotel is well kept and clean. The team of pros that work there really make the difference. I would like thank the kitchen staff chef Mauricio, chef Ajo, chef Leo and the rest of them working behind the scene. Food was well prepared and cooked with the cuban flavors. Many thanks to Obdulio, Roberto, Janeysy, Marilexis and the service team who were very attentive to our requests. The gardens are very nice and well-kept. The beach are well organized and clean. Playa Costa Verde: Good for the price

The resort is very homey, cozy, clean and staff are super nice and friendly. I’m a repeated customer and like this resort very much. But there is a huge difference compared to last year. Many things are lacking, food is very poor, this time there was no fish in a restaurant/ buffet. I guess it’s not a fault of hotel management but rather the outcome of current economic situation in Cuba. We were not hungry of course but tired from the same daily menu. Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Things are DETEORATING - Rapidly

I am a many years VETERAN of Amigo Atlantico, most of the winters - I visit 2 times, with last 2 years - obviously NOT :-( I LOVE your Attitude towards Covid PLANdemic - NOTHING Mentioned! :-) But - RESORT Situation is worse than ever: NO SHOWS, NO VINO, lousy Food (I liked Soups & Salads only & ADORED Yogourt in the morning) and terrible Bread, NO SEA Food, almost NEVER a Fish during 11 days :-( ROOM and grounds are OK... Playa Costa Verde: Good Resort

Good ground, room, dinner and services. Nicely manicured gardens and flowers. Beach is not far away. Room cleaning lady was not doing her job and the toilet was not flushable mosttimes due to water shortage. Internet service at the lobby but with limits.

Gran Muthu Almirante Beach Resort: Аmazing resort

Wonderful staff, the buffet and the restaurants very good.beach is amazing, rooms are clean We recommend this hotel to everyone I promise to come back with friends. A special thanks to servers, front staff.

Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Wonderful Experience!

We traveled to this resort Dec 9-Dec. 16 2022 and we can honestly say we sure did not go hungry or thirsty ! The beach is beautiful very spacious with lots of chairs . Didn't have to fight for a chair around the pool either. The staff are very kind, helpful and very accommodating. Yes there are many stairs to the beach however there is a ramp that you can use instead The entertainment Comitee really try hard to get everyone involved. First resort that I've been to that has an elevator and WFI throughout the resort .

Playa Pesquero: Another great visit

Had a wonderful time at playa Pesquero. Fantastic weather, great staff and great beach. If you are the traveller who expects 5 star dining then Cuba is not for you. The country is trying to recover from the pandemic and there are shortages mainly vegetables, but you won't go hungry. No shortages at the bar. The resort is almost 20 years old but they try hard to keep it looking good. This is our fifth trip to the resort and not our last. Iberostar Coral Holguin: Very good value

We felt lucky to have landed at Coral Level Iberostar Holguin for 10 days. Staff members were top-notch. Rooms, pool and grounds were all lovely and well-maintained. Lounge chairs under shade were always available at the pool and the beach — no need to scurry out at crack of dawn to plunk down towels. Food is never the draw in Cuba, but here there was always lots of variety and fresh fruit, served by friendly, attentive staff. It is a older resort ,they just reopen on November 1 So it was only open half capacity,only one buffet and two à la carte were open ,we been going to this resort for about 14 years so to us it’s like going home

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Beautiful Resort

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Amazing Staff

I enjoyed everything about the resort. They did lose my suitcase for four days. The beach was beautiful and the food was pretty good. The best thing were the staff. Such wonderful people. Shout out to Udaine, Jerry and Cesar!

Grand Memories Holguin: Regret booking this resort!

Booking this resort I was told airport is 15 minutes away from the resort doesn't have any information on the sunwing website. When we arrived we were told 1 hour and 40 minutes directly to hotel. We have kids if I knew the drive was long I wouldn't have booked. The next problem was the floors for this resort was slippery! We kept falling on the floor. On Monday December 12th at 4pm I slipped on the tiles to the point I got a air line fractured on my right arm. Spoke to resort they didn't [... read more] do anything except cover medical fee for there doctor at the resort and they didn't resolve the situation. Nor did they follow up. Another problem was this resort was not sanitary I don't eat pork and everything was being mixed, less options in the resort mainly bacon, ham and cheese. Mini fridge didn't have no drinks, only 2 bottles of water and they would have shortage on water, toilet paper, drinks. We basically paid and didn't eat or drink. Day of departure our flight was delayed 1 hour and 50 minutes, bus ride was 1 hour and 50 minutes. Sunwing Representative didn't communicate properly with us on the delay and was rude. Airport did not have any food options other than ham and cheese and we were starving we waited for sunwing flight to serve food but they didn't have nothing but snacks. Terrible trip!

Grand Memories Holguin: beautiful resort/grounds

The resort itself is beautiful but the location is to remote. There are no stores or markets to go to. No cigars to be had, missing toilet paper in most restrooms,no sodas, orange juice,no hot dogs/hamburgers at the snack bar. The walkway to beach is great ,beach is clean and well kept Hopefully in the future they improve.

With a 5 star rating, the Iberostar name behind it and a trip advisor travellers choice award, we thought we couldn’t go wrong. 4th trip to Cuba. Service non-existent. Food undercooked and repetitive. Unable to make most drinks. No toilet paper in public areas!!!

Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Best resort in Cuba

Everything is kept spotless, the buffet is completely redone, the staff are all very nice and hard working and the beach is the best in the Caribbean with a combination of palapas, palm and almond trees so there is always shade if you like.

Iberostar Selection Holguin: Fantastic resort!

Had a great time! A group of us went to celebrate my brothers birthday. The staff made sure it was a special day for his 50th. The hotel room was exceptional for Cuba. Very clean and modern. The pool was great and the beach was clean. The beach bar was a great meeting place for us. And the bar tender was a lot of fun. The lobby bar was packed every night so you had to make sure you got there early enough to get chairs. Also there wasn’t a huge selection at the buffet but we never left hungry. The Japanese restaurant was the best. The show was great and the food was very good. Don’t get the fish soup though. That was terrible. The restaurant brought out a birthday cake for my brother and it was wonderful! The staff even sang for him. Wonderful time! Do not exchange your Canadian money. The locals will give you par for it. They will charge you extra if you pay in pesos. Not completely sure why this is but that’s the way it’s working now. The locals are hurting extremely badly because of Covid and the lack of diesel. They can’t get supplies as the transport industry isn’t running up to par. They are very appreciative of anything you give them from money to clothes to medicine. All in all we had a fantastic time and will definitely go back.

Playa Pesquero: Very nice place & wonderful people

The resort is so nice especially for a family vacation. Might come back again soon. A lot of activities and you will not get bored. Beach is good and you and you can do a lot of activities. The SPA is great too.
