Grand Palladium Colonial: Another amazing visit to Palladium

My 5th visit to Grand Palladium RM. Delighted to see many upgrades and improvements such as renovated rooms, more comfortable beds, awesome free wifi across the resort, and even better food. Can't wait to return again!!

Grand Palladium Colonial: Amazing resort....something for everyone!

This is my 4th visit to Grand Palladium Riviera Maya and I was not disappointed! I noted improvements in food quality (which is very good to begin with) and overall service from my last visit. This resort is great for families, couples or groups of friends. Each time I return I marvel at the beauty of the resort. They left much of the lushness of the forest in tack when they built the resort so you don't realize how big and sprawling it is. It is also great value for the dollar!

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: No words but Amazing

The resort was absolutely beautiful I am brining my kids to the Grand palladium resort when they are Olde to enjoy all the adventures they can .. the staff bar tenders chefs Bell boy security are all the ideal for customer service

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Absolutely Amazing Resort and Beautiful Wedding!!

The Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton is an awesome resort!! I was the bride in a group of 41 people that attended the resort from April 23-30, 2016 for our wedding. I did so much research prior to picking this resort, and I was not disappointed with my choice at all!! Our group ranged in ages from 3 to 75 and this resort literally had something for everyone. The resort is about 35-40 minutes from the airport, about halfway between Montego Bay and Negril. All of the rooms have balconies, and there pretty much isn’t a bad view from any of them. Being the Bride and Groom, we had booked for a 1 Bedroom Suite and they gave us a room with gorgeous ocean views from BOTH balconies, that’s right, our room had two balconies!! It also had two large flat screen TVs and a great bathroom complete with Jacuzzi tub and rain shower head. The air conditioning and ceiling fans also worked great, and they were very much needed as it was unseasonably HOT while we were there. All of the staff were even saying how hot it was and that it felt like their summer heat. We were blessed with perfect weather, nothing but sunshine and blue skies the whole time we were in Jamaica!! This is a huge resort and the first couple of days I was frustrated because I felt like I didn’t know where my entire group was staying and where everything was, but once we had our bearings, it was awesome. It felt like the more you walked around the resort, the more you would discover different gems and ‘feels’ within the resort. The main pool was huge and always happening, but you could go to the adult pool or beach for a more relaxed feel, or keep travelling to the furthest beach at Sunset Cove and discover snorkeling and some AMAZING jerk chicken. TIP: If you are travelling with a large group, when everybody checks in, write down their room numbers!! Trust me on this one, you will most likely be separated in to different villas and you will never remember their rooms otherwise. The food was amazing!! And again, there was something for everyone. The buffets had great selection and the restaurants were pretty authentic. The Poseidon (Seafood) and the Italian were our favorites. The Sports Bar literally had the best selection of 24 hour food available that we had ever encountered on vacation. You could literally show up at any time and get fresh food made to order, or ready to go at the buffet. Yes, it’s true about the a la carte restaurants, if you don’t get there right when they open then you will be waiting for over an hour most likely. This happened to us a couple of times during the beginning of the week, but we got smart by the end of the week! The bars and drinks were great too!! You could get any and all of the typical vacation drinks (pina coladas, margaritas etc) but if you trusted the bartenders, they would make you some awesome concoctions!! I did wish that they would keep the Sports Bar open longer for liquor, after a certain time they would only serve beer and you had to get the fun drinks at the disco or casino. I know that this was to keep people moving and trying out other bars within the resort, but the Sports Bar was our favorite spot and some nights we just wanted to keep drinking and hanging out there! I was impressed with the casino at the resort; it was tiny but had a decent selection of machines to play. They were all older but still one of the better casinos I’ve seen in the Caribbean. As for entertainment, there was always something going on, whether it was a show or a band or the disco, but we always found ourselves going for nightly dips in the pool since it was just so hot, even at night. It was awesome to be able to do that, as I know a lot of resorts don’t allow that. Our nightly swims are part of my favorite memories from our trip!! The Wedding Coordinators and specifically mine (Thorna-Ann) were just amazing and they work so hard! It can be stressful planning a wedding over email but they really help you along the way and are so patient with questions and concerns. This resort has the most beautiful, picturesque spot for weddings, at their “Garden Gazebo”. It’s literally on a Cliffside with a gorgeous ocean view and it’s nice and private. Overall, I can say that every one of the 41 people in our group had an absolute blast and fell in love with this resort and Jamaica!! My husband and I will return for an anniversary trip in the future for sure!!

Grand Palladium Select Bavaro: Grand Palladium Bavaro

Amazing experience for our first time at an all inclusive resort to the tropics . the food was excellent ,(so many restaurants to choose from)the staff were friendly and helpful, the grounds were beautifully kept , always someone working in the gardens . our rooms were kept well with fresh towels and linens and our mini fridge kept full with lots of water. .

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Good Resort

We arrived at the hotel at 10:30 am after being up all night. Although we were the only guests arriving on that flight, our rooms were not available until after 4:30 pm.The rooms are a good size. The only room complaint would be the horrible plastic mattress protectors. The hotel complex is very large and all 5 hotels share the restaurants. We enjoyed the Mexican restaurant the most. The food at the buffets is fairly good but there is very little variety from day to day. Beautiful beach with a l [... read more]ot of chairs and shade options. There is a lot of coral in the water, so it is best to swim in the roped-off area. There are a couple of small reefs where we saw many fish, even a couple of sting rays. Due to the wind conditions, there were yellow flags for 4 days and red for three, so there were no paddle boards, kayaks etc. for the red flag days. We were a party of 5, and 3 of us were ill with gastrointestinal problems after we arrived back in Canada.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Amazing

Perfect rooms, food, pools, employees, animation. Everything was perfect. I Will return for sure. But don't go to this hotel for the beach. I recommend Grand Palladium to all group of age. There are things to do for all age. Shows at 8:00 / 9:00 / 11:00. Menus for kids in all restaurant but one restaurant per day only adults. All you want and need at this hotel. A lot of animals so you must be afraid.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Good and Bad!!!

The hotel grounds were immaculate, very very well maintained, wonderful pool and beaches, room service somewhat slacking ,even with generous tips, shuttels very slow. Hard to get answers and remedies! Gave us wrong room had to repack and be out of that one at 10:30am and not into the other one until after 4:00pm, had to unpack again still not the right room but I'd had enough! Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Great hotel with lots of things to do and see

We stayed at this hotel the week of April 23-30th and it was our first time to Jamaica. From the moment we entered this hotel, everyone was very courteous and helpful. Check in was quick and our room was fabulous!!!!! We thoroughly enjoyed this resort and all the people working there. The buffet was excellent and the a la carte restaurants were great. One suggestion would be to refresh the lounge chairs as several were broken. Since we have come back from Jamaica, I have really missed spending time at this resort and can't wait to go back. I have shared my positive feedback with my friends and everyone at work and I do not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Jamaica. Thanks lady Hamilton for such a wonderful vacation. Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Below Expectations

Our room was nice (junior suite) but the grounds were poor ( garbage/debris/cigarette butts at entrances/left-overs from the previous nite's partying/beaches not cleaned weeds-old tires-debris-plastics/beach swimming areas littered w/coral rocks,seawood resulting in scrapes/cuts etc/having to get up at 6:am to mark a pool chair/beach chair/insufficient beach towels.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Awesome trip!

The hotel is super clean. Very nicely decorated. The pools are well kept. Staff is polite and really helpful and friendly. Beautiful scenery, lots of things to look at and do. Overall an amazing experience.

TRS Turquesa: wonderful getaway in Punta Cana

We stayed at the Royal Suites Turquoise for a week in April. The resort overall was above average 4+ but not a 5. Pros: Our room which was standard was very nice; double sink, separate shower, comfortable bed. The nightly entertainment was really good. Each lobby had a live band, it was never boring. The main pool was very quiet which was great for relaxing, the quality of the food was great. I liked that both restaurants offered a small buffet and a la carte without having to make reservations [... read more]. Cons: Service at the restaurants were poor. Lots of times I never got what I asked for. For example a glass of water for breakfast so that I can take my medicine. I finally started carrying around a bottle of water when I went to breakfast. I also gave up getting our safe fixed. Getting an umbrella at the pool or the beach was a challenge. After our second day my husband had to rise early in the morning around 7 am to get chairs with an umbrella (there weren't too many left).

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Gorgeous Resort

Gorgeous resort; perfect food, nice and big room. Very good restaurants and easy to access them all; endless bars; nice but rocky beach- plenty of chairs. Lots of activities, lots of pools!! Would go back in a 'second'. Absolutely perfect vacation.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Gorgeous resort, great food and people

The property was beautiful, lush, lots of gardens and fauna, very quiet little villas. The room was the standard room with king bed, but it was spacious, modern, great mattress, very clean, flat screen TV and a mini fridge with water, pop and beer, restocked daily. The property has 4 resorts, Kantenah is at the end and there is no entertainment, it is quiet, which is what we were looking for. Entertainment is at Colonial and Riviera lobbies. There are many pools to choose from, you can get a gondola ride around 2 of the resorts, there are flamingos and crocodile enclosures, lots of gardens, wooden bridges throughout the property, looking very serene. The amount of a la carte restaurants was amazing, we liked all we tried, but we could not possibly try them all. The beach is wide and beautiful, however the Riviera side does not have a beach, has to walk over to Whitesands and Colonial beach. And our only complaint was the ocean, we knew Mayan Riviera has corals, but we hoped they won't be everywhere in the water. You need water shoes, you cannot go in otherwise, There is just a little spot at the end of the Kantenah beach where you can hop over the rocks and walk in the water. But there were sting rays there, which was scary, although they swim away if you get close. Other than the corals, I would give it a 5 out of 5.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Awesome hotel

Everything was well maintained and clean , staff was very friendly buffet meals had a great variety to choose from the a la cartes were not as good as the buffet. The rooms were clean but smelled musty they could use a dehumidifier

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Great trip

Had a wonderful stay at Grand Palladium. We had booked in the Punta Cana Section but were assigned a lovely room in the Bavaro section. This is a really large resort and other than taking a shuttle to some of the a la carte restaurants we basically stayed in the bavaro area. Buffet was good. Pool was lovely. Hemingway bar was delightful for a nightcap. Service was great. Grounds were beautiful and well manicured. Powder sand beach. Any concerns were immediately addressed. Grand Palladium Jamaica: Busy and Smokey Resort

The rooms were nice but there was smoking everywhere even in the pool. Jamaica staff were all very nice but slow to react. Not a bad experience overall Not sure if I would rush back there I think perhaps good for the younger people (19 - 25)

Grand Palladium Colonial: Great resort for family!

Nanny service was superb - Marlene was excellent. The staff was very attentive to detail, very helpful. We enjoyed a couples message which was remarkable, soothing and enjoyable. Staff made us feel at home. Pampering service. Pool service was exceptional. easy to find a pool bed. Great activities - zumba was excellent. Great atmosphere. Drinks were refreshing. Insincere. Rumors that jewelry is overpriced.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Amazing Resort

The Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort and Spa is a VERY large resort. There was too much to see in just 7 days!. I guess we will have to go back again and continue exploring!! Service is very very good! Great value vacation!

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Grand palladium Bavaro

The resort was very good !! The grounds were very well kept and the rooms were cleaned accordingly ... I have to say that the service was hit and miss .... I was kinda surprised because the last time I was there the service was impeccable .... The food was awesome ... It didn't matter which restaurant you went to .... Overall the resort was by far one of the best hotels I've been to
