Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Outstanding Resort

I have no idea why some of the reviews are so full of complaints. We had a wonderful time at this resort and would definitely return. The staff couldn't do enough for us, the maids did an excellent job cleaning our room and providing fresh towels even when we didn't ask. The waiters in the buffet were in constant attendance to our every need. Amazing swimming pools, one with a swim up bar.The beach was beautiful, but did have some rocky area's, but could be avoided. We never had no problem getti [... read more]ng a sheltered spot under a beach hut, which is very much needed as the sun is extremely strong. Tennis courts and multipurpose courts were easily accessible. Food was great, with chefs cooking fresh for you upon request-even in the buffet restaurant! No matter whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner we always found something we enjoyed. In fact, we preferred this to the a la carte restaurants. The grounds were immaculate, and always being maintained and cleaned. Can't wait to return!!!

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Amazing resort

Absolutely amazing ! I highly recommendAmazing resort Service was super. Staff were friendly courteous. Very clean lots of hard-working staff. Pools clean great food. Customer service girl resort it was amazing .

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Fantastic Place!

The rooms, food, pools, beach, staff and grounds are top notch. We do not have a single complaint! The best trip ever....we're going back next year. The entertainment was great. 24 hour room service and premium liquor.

Riu Tequila: Amazing resort

The hotel was very clean. Food was great. Service great atmosphere was great plan on going back. Great location great beach just a short walk away Lots to do in playa Del Carmen if you get a chance do some of the excursions

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Not as nice as the last time I went

We had a good time, however I did notice the Coba has gone down hill since my last stay there 5 yrs ago!! Still enjoyed most of the food and pool side entertainment. Our rooms were extremely dirty with mud splattered all of the balcony. We didn't get water everyday but one day we recd other peoples half drank water. That was disgusting!

Grand Oasis Riviera: Very special place!

People are very friendly and welcoming. Food is amazing and the ocean and beach terrific. A place to add to your travels! Visited the ruins of Tulum and worth every penny! Terrif views, very good guide.

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Tropical Beauty

Beautiful rooms, very clean resort, food was fantastic, nice pools and beach was pretty good. Service was great and resort was beautiful. There is even a salt water pool that you can swim in and there are many small fish in it.

Grand Oasis Riviera: Nice and clean

We stayed here for 7 days and found it to be a clean well cared for resort.there was always something going on in the theatre at night. Staff , for most part was friendly and helpful.i did go to spa for a massage with Ninive who was wonderful. The only real complaint I had was I thought the Nori wet bar was to close to kids play and pool area as some people got a little out of hand with course language the more they drank

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: A really nice resort but requires improvements

I was impressed with my stay at the Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda five years ago, however my second trip this past week showed the resort was definitely starting to show it's age. On the other hand, the food was great and the service excellent, despite the Swing Bar tenders getting completely overwhelmed when one of their blenders died (again). Another issue I had was the workers not having the correct tools for cleaning the pool.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Coba

Lovely resort but need some serious maintenance. Got things fixed but first 3 days we spent most of it waiting for maintenance to show up. Food was excellent at the buffets and a la carte too. Customer service very helpful.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Everything I could hope for

After much research and reading of the numerous trips Central and trip advisor ratings, I chose to stay at the Valentin Imperial in the Riviera Mayan the third week of January 2016 . Every review that I read stated the food was excellent, all of these reviews were spot on. I would like to comment on the immaculate maintenance of the resort. We saw staff handwashing the pool walls, we saw staff carefully placing stones at the entrance way to the Our building, and we saw staff painting the interio [... read more]r halls of our building which did not even look like they needed to be painted. This resort is very well-maintained. I would also like to comment that I read many reviews stating they were enough shade at the beach and pool. This was a concern for me and I had even mentioned it to my travel agent. This resort must be listening to its clients, as during the week we stayed there, many new shaded areas were added to the beach front. Well done, valentine. Finally I want to add, there was numerous entertainment in the evenings. During our stay there, two themed nights were added to the daily activities, providing lots of choices for evening entertainment .

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Amazing resort

Our room was very nice, clean, and our maid gave us what we need every day.He definitely went out of his way to make us happy. At the restaurant you got amazing service. We like the service so much we left tips. The food was a 4 out of 5, my boyfriend agrees with me. The grounds were super clean. All the workers there work really hard at there jobs. They make this resort a great vacation place.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Amazing beautiful resort

This resort was amazing and beautiful the food was great the beach was beautiful the service was good and our family really enjoyed it. It was by far the nicest were resort we've been to so far and I would definitely recommend it and take my family again. Our kids loved the waterpark it was very nice. And it's nice and close to airport.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Amazing golf course

The hotel it self was very nice it could have used a fresh paint job inside and out in the area we were ! The grounds were very nice the food was great the service was great our room had two twin beds put together which wasn't pleasant .

Excellence Riviera Cancun: Excellence it is!

So much more relaxed than a family resort. All a la carte restaurants very good (no reservations necessary). House wines good quality Chilean, with a decent list of extra-priced wines. All bars serve premium brands by default. Entertainment geared to adults and mostly very good. Rooms very nice and well maintained. Wi-Fi free but a bit spotty. Swim-up suite worth the extra cost. Staff excellent and friendly. Lovely beach, excellent pools. WestJet Vacations and Best Day Travel (on site) very help [... read more]ful. And no one tried to sell us a time-share... that's a first!

We found the hotel/resort(s) to be very well looked after. The staff were very nice. We have already recommended Bahia Principe Akumal to people looking for nice resort with great food, great drinks and great atmosphere. We went to all for resorts on the property which was a fun thing to do.

Dreams Puerto Morelos Resort and Spa: Good hotel

There could be work in up grading the hotel and rooms.. It's seems it has been let good.. ie. roof leaking on the big stair case.. Lobby furniture dirty.. Unable to take food put in disp. Dishes to beach in the am from buffet am meal...Restaurants all the same.. It's okay but I had better,,

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Nice Vacation

Restaurants = to notch, beach = could be a little more clean, wonderful service, real big lobby especially on a rainy day, super entertainment, Location = you are only an hour or less from excursions etc.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Very nice resort.

Beautiful resort with very nice grounds. Very polite and hard working crew. Good food even though it could be a bit more variety. Pretty much the same every day, but enough to try something new if you are not trying to eat everything at once:). Not much going on except some of the entertainment, but you always have the option to go to the neighboring resorts or Playa The Carmen if you like night life. It could ease-up the traffic during breakfast. If you got up a bit late and went for breakfast after 9:30 there were line ups to get into the buffet. Need a bit better organization in the dining room, but you are on vacation so a little wait shouldn't matter. Rooms very spacious and clean. I would rate this resort 4+ and would go there again.

Allegro Playacar: An ok resort not a 4 star

The hotel needs upgrading. The rooms are very small and the bathroom is sub standard with old toilet and shower. The room looked over the sink and no one fixed it and you could not open a window. The food was ok but not enough variety. There was a buffet and one a la carte and nothing special about either. A 4 star has at least 3 or 4 a la carte options. Buffet at beach was good and staff very friendly
