Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Ok, not the best

Grounds beautiful, food ok a la Cartes suck nice views noisy rooms no tubs need more bathrooms near pools. Liquor dispenser hard to reach, no fans in bathrooms. Enjoyed the Santa February pool better palace pools too salty.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Great Resort

the royal Decameron is good value for the price. Our only complaint is the beds and pillows are too hard. The staff are fantastic and friendly. We have been to Royal Decameron Complex five times and would return again.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Great vacation!

Beautiful resort, lots of beautiful gardens. Food was amazing, quality of drinks exceptional. Rooms where clean and well laid out. Easy access to beach and restaurants. Only issue was it was a long walk to the washroom from beach swimming area. Need to have more washrooms close to beach.Everything else was perfect.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Awesome resort with spectacular views ,staff, food and pools.

This resort was wonderful , the views from our balcony and most of the restaurants and bars were spectacular,looking out on The Arch ,lovers beach and whale watching were just amazing. We found a great selection of food which was always good ( seafood,meats, vegetables,gluten free,and desserts to die for) . The staff were very helpful and friendly everywhere, the bar service great and Top shelf liquor available upon request. The gardens and landscaping was breath taking . My only recommendation for someone thinking about coming is bring paper straws if you like frozen blended drinks ( resort is gone eco friendly,which I think is great) and bring your own tea if you like orange pekoe . As for Sunwing ,staff were helpful but we did experience a major delay and had to be rerouted because of weather( plane didn’t have food,liquor or dutyfree items available) I would have thought Sunwing would have tried to compensate us better. All in all it was a great vacation, Judy was extremely helpful booking our trip and next year we will be calling on her again.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Amazing first time experience at Riu Palace Los Cobas, Mexico

Azul Ixtapa Grand Resort: A Family and Adult Oriented Resort

Clientele: The resort appears to have chosen to cater to families and adults as opposed to the younger partying crowd. Grounds: Grounds are very well maintained. Trees and flowers are always well kept. Every inch of the real estate is designed and built to provide aesthetic and recreation value. The beach is small and not good for swimming but without any venders. Public Areas: pools are well kept with plenty of umbrellas, chairs and lounges. Food, Beverages and Restaurants: At the main buffet there is everything for every taste (fish/seafood, chicken, beef, pork, cooked vegetables, soups, pasta plus a Mexican station) everyday. The down side is that you can never find anything new, for those who like surprises. A la carte restaurants are fabulous especially the service. One of them is even open for lunch. One can be so spoiled. The addition of a little cappucciano bar is a very nice touch Rooms: They all have ocean view, balcony and are all very spacious. I am guessing about 700 SF. Plumbing in "our" room needs work. The handicap shower room is spacious but needs to be improved to provide better safety. I am assuming that this would be a typical situation. Staff: They are all very polite and friendly. They appreciate a tip, big or small. As a foreigner enjoying the best of their foods and services, not to mention the climate and the view, one can't help but wanting to give them something to show a little appreciation. I was told that most of the staff in the hospitality industry get paid only minimum wages, and I mean Mexican minimum wages. Entertainment: Stages shows are held nightly at an outdoor facility. Insects can be somewhat annoying. There is also an indoor "recreation room" type of facility with nightly live music and dance floor, plus pool tables and other games. Disco is off site. The only criticism I have is that their office is not very responsive when you communicate with them during booking.

The grounds were well maintained, beach was clean and pools beautiful. Resort staff extremely friendly and helpful. Many activities, nightly shows and the town of Bucerius is a short walk from the resort

Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta: Reflect Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta

We were so pleased with our resort. After reading some negative reviews we were tempted to look elsewhere but so glad we kept our reservation. Our room was a standard room, small but had everything we needed including clean towels everyday. Any concerns were handled politely and immediately.The bathroom had just been renovated -very modern shower. AC worked and it was quiet. I have celiac and could not believe how attentive the waiters and the head chef was ensuring that I too could enjoy tasty food. The salmon was simply delicious and I was able to indulge in some GF desserts. I would recommend this place for all you fellow celiacs. My husband is picky and he found more than enough tasty food. The COCO Cafe is perfect- open 24hours. Oh yes! The Sky Bar was so peaceful- a secret place. The beach was extensive with our only complaint of not having enough chairs.The three pools were lovely and I enjoyed the water aerobics as well taking Spanish lessons. A shout-out to Guillermo(sp) (William) with organizing entertainment - the Mexican Dancers Nite was excellent, the live band as well especially when some locals got into salsa dancing- so much fun! Beach party nite and karaoke nite were a hit too. We did no excursions as we have been in this area before but we did walk to Bucerias both on the beach as well as the walkway.Thank you, Manuela, for finding this resort.

Ocean Maya Royale: Tired resort

Trip hazards abound on the slowly decaying paths on the way to your chlorine smelling room. Chicken bones and glasses can be found in the pools as well as several missing tiles. Enjoy the barely warm fish or chicken at your own risk while waiters work diligently to avoid you. Requests are carefully listened to and promptly ignored.

Occidental Costa Cancun: Small jewel!

Spent one week (Jan 31/19-Feb 7/19) at the Occidental Costa Cancun. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable rooms, good food (great variety), beautiful grounds and awesome Activity crew. There is something for all ages.

Golden Parnassus Resort & Spa: Awesome Resort!

We had an excellent time at the Golden Parnassus Resort & Spa. The grounds and pool area were fabulous with plenty of room for everyone. The food was great as well. The service from the staff was incredible as they catered our every need. Beautiful resort. We will recommend this resort to everyone!

Oh Cancun The Urban Oasis: Great Deal for the Money!

Overall I enjoyed my stay & I would stay here again, however I have lower standards. I booked this 4 day vacation, just to get away from the snow & enjoy SUN! The hotel is locally in downtown & a very short walk from restaurants and supermarket. The outdoors area is beautiful with private cabanas, music & bar. I travelled alone, but was easily able to meet others. My bed was comfortable, but that was the only good thing about my room. My linens had stains, my bath towels were old and s [... read more]tained, the “shower” was the worst. Old bathtub with shower head from the wall, but not high enough for a tall person, also no shower curtain. The toilet wasn’t cleaned properly upon check-in either. I didn’t complain about any of things, just made notes for this review. Wifi is decent enough throughout the hotel & pool area The staff are friendly and the bar food is good. However I got to lay out in the sun & come home with a tan, so I’m happy. Next time I would request a room with an actual shower stall & clean linens. Beach access: I purchased a day pass to the sister resort - Grand Oasis Cancun for 660mxn. It includes shuttle to/from and access to restaurants, bar & beach but No Wifi. I enjoyed my time at the beach, meeting new people. But the service on the property was very poor. Bad attitudes from check-in & restaurant staff. I wouldn’t stay here.

Club Med Cancun: Club Med Cancun....Amazing

As former G.O's, we have always enjoyed club med and had experienced other villages but this was our first time in Cancun. The team was wonderful..props to Shilou and Tino who were energetic, friendly and available as GO's should be. The Aguamarina building is far from the main area but perfect for quiet and getting a third level ocean view room was the way to go. It is a French company so there are a lot of French speakers but a lovely ambiance. Club Med's beach was the best on the whole st [... read more]rip. Would definitely go again. We went to Moon Palace (the Grand) last year and would never go back. It is close to the airport which was lovely. Beware: Air Transat was late their and back....with no consideration to the passengers. go another airline if you can. As always, Debbie Maguire was and amazing agent and would definitely use her again...as this is my 6th one with her!!

Dreams Riviera Cancun: Wonderful Family Vacation

We traveled as a family of four for one week to Dreams. We absolutely loved it. The room was always clean as was the whole resort. Food choices were abundant and room service was a very nice added bonus. The kids loved the pools and Explorers Club. We will definitely be back to Dreams.

Riu Santa Fe: Phenomenal

Absolutely amazing!!!!!! Been to the riu twice now and would go again in a heart beat! Beautiful, Clean, food was awesome, amazing riu foam parties every day!!! If I could post all my pictures I would..... So excited to plan another stay next year!

Hotel Xcaret Mexico: Beautiful resort!

Loved the rooms, the pools, the rivers...loved it all! Lots to do and see. Nicest all inclusive that I have visited and every staff person was super friendly. Would have stayed longer if I could have.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: AMAZING RESORT!

We heard great things about this amazing resort- although, seeing is believing!! The resort surpassed any expectations we had on every level. Everything was amazing- the food was UNREAL, the staff, the grounds, the location, everything! We travelled off the resort for excursions; and downtown Playa del Carmen in both the day and night via taxi's with no troubles. Stay in villa 5/6 area to be closer to the beach/ main pool. Adult only section, Villa 20 is very quiet and far from everything.

Costa Club Punta Arena: it's ok

They Cater mostly to the Mexican that stay at this resort, but grounds were clean, staff are consistently making it look clean, however my room had a smell of what seemed to be urine and the smell got stronger everyday. By the time to complain I felt Oh Well we're leaving in a couple days All the glass (plastic cups) they use for drinks are cleaned and reused. Just remember these glasses are also used for ash trays too and it's not good drinking something from one and finding cigarette bu [... read more]rns in the plastic. But you can do as I did, find a good one and keep reusing it. Food was not so good, unless you were Mexican rice and beans, But you can go to the Ala Carte which was much better Bacon for breakfast you have to ask for it at the grill where they prepare eggs Also the snack bar food was good (Pizza, Home made French fries, burger The beach is not all sandy and had some beach rocks NO BODY swims there it has a very strong undertow Rooms and baloney are big and spacious, however if your in the old building there is absolutely NO Ocean/ Beach view because of a building in front being built and in the old building there are NO elevators, but 60, yes 60 stairs, I counted to the top/third floor There is a large building being built right in front of the resort so there is constant noise from Monday to Saturday 9 to 5 They do put on a variety of night shows that are ok On a good note the staff are awesome and any complaints the Manager will try and resolve it ASAP The TV remote wasn't working they had it fixed and working very next morning. All in All you get what you pay for with this place, but I'd go back and just eat out

TRS Coral: Amazing

This hotel is just everything I was looking for! Beautiful, calm but not too calm, Great service, amazing rooms, restaurant with servers who will go out of their way to get you what you need/want . The beach is perfect white sand , no rocks,no seaweed with real good Service! The spa... just perfect !
