Crown Paradise Club: A few quick tips and tricks

Breakfast - Where is the bacon? It took me a few days but i found out the omelet lady is the dispenser of the bacon. A $1 tip and smile went a long way towards a decent stack every morning. If you are like us and like sitting close to the edge of the water an umbrella becomes necessary. They rent them on the beach for 15USD a day. We brought ou [... read more]r android box to stream a few leafs games and watch the odd tv show before bed. While the internet outside the room was not bad. Inside the room was touch and go. I did find when i went on my balcony it improved. The sports bar has lots for kids to do but the hours seemed to be very limited. Every time we went to check out the xBox room or catch a movie in the projector room they seemed “closed” even though the employee was sitting right there? We did play some airhockey and foosball though. (Also a pool table there) Either way we had a great time.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Excellent Resort!

The resort was fantastic overall. Was safe all the time. The staff are friendly, helpful and so accommodating. We enjoyed the morning, afternoon and evening activities. The food were delicious. The restaurants has wonderdul service and the food are exemplary. Would definitely go back. We love the beach. The morning zumba and the yoga is my fave! We highly recommend this resort!

Binniguenda Huatulco: Family like resort

The service is outstanding go above and beyond the call of duty. Help always willing to please and serve you in all department's. Weather always sunny and hot. Lots of activity in Huatulco to kerp your interest or just rest and relax.

Ocean Coral and Turquesa: Gorgeous Resort

Pros; Wonderful resort. Great restaurants. Best Buffet ever. Have stayed at Riu’s, Iberostar’s,Bahias, Palladium’s and Barcelo’s. The H10 chain of resorts are the best. We stayed at the Paradise last year. Also, excellent. Staff fabulous! Always cheerful, helpful, and would go the extra mile for any requests. Cons: Need more elevators in the far reaching blocks 1000-3000. Getting older and the knees and hips aren’t what they used to be. Had to walk from the 3000-5000 block from [... read more] the 4th floor to take one. Too far, especially at the end of the day. However, will definitely be back. Room also, was beautiful!

Secrets Huatulco: Won’t go again

We felt the resort was okay, but the food was mediocre at best. The resort did a poor job of giving us much detail on where things were located and worst of all we were badgered beyond belief to attend their “time share” crap.

Grand Oasis Cancun: Great resort

This hotel is great it’s my second time staying here there’s lots of options and the staff are amazing. My only complaint is they had the party zone booked off for three days so from Friday-Sunday we were not allowed to access that part of the resort there was Punjabi music blasting for three days straight it over powered the other music at the pool and if we wanted to go to the ocean we had to walk all the way to the other side of the resort so I was pretty disappointed in that. Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Excellent vacation!!!!

We booked this resort last minute, and it was an excellent choice! The room was pretty and modern but still had a tropical feel, it was very clean. The check in was quick and the bell boy was friendly and informative as he drove us to our room. The drinks were delicious, seriously yummy!!! And the service everywhere was the best. The beach is beautiful,  [... read more]and it has a couple of shallow areas great for little ones or people who take a little longer to get comfortable in the ocean (I’m a bit of a chicken) but once you do it’s pretty shallow quite a ways out. You will need water shoes, it’s a small inconvenience to prevent your foot from getting hurt. But seriously as nervous as I was I loved the beach and we spent most of our days there. There is wait service on the beach, and those girls work their buts off (seriously tip your servers) we would order 2 drinks at a time and drink one and put the other in a to go coffee cup (bring one on every all inclusive) Love the beach. The quiet pool was another good spot, you feel surrounded by jungle and there is lots of shade, great spot if you need rest from too much vacation. The lazy river and ice cream parlour were bothe delightful!!! Just awesome!!! Oh ant the 2 person jacuzzi tub in every room was delightful. Now the stuff that wasn’t the best. The food.... The buffet was, well buffet. Everything is kinda plain and over cooked but there was a few good items every night. Some of my favourites were, the salmon, the wings (delicious) I can live off bread and cheese and there was some every meal, all the fresh fruit especially pineapple!!! And desserts are always good. The biggest disappointment was the Mexican food, it was not good, it was bad. Just bland and soggy and it all had soooo much refried beans and it was all you could taste. This is something I think the resort should fix ASAP. The specialty restaurants were only mildly better. We went to the steakhouse, my salmon was over cooked, my BF steak was good but they just had a buffet of sides similar to the buffet. It was ok. The Brazilian.... it was ok, they served the chicken wings from the buffet but stuck them on the squewer but after they were done so they were mangled chicken wings??? The other meats were ok but they only give you a small piece of each, the sausage is the same from the beach bar b q.... just not terrible but not great. The last one was the Japanese, just a little to salty otherwise good,and the cooks were entertaining, dessert was fried ice cream. Not exactly Japanese but really good. Another miss step was although the rooms were beautiful the mattress was bad the springs were very pokey and my BF is a tosser and turner and always manages to wreck the bed and ours had a huge stain... like I’m pretty sure someone was murdered or gave birth.... again something that needs to be fixed, the maid did give us a mattress cover.....(I understand some people would throw a fit in this situation but really the mattress had been cleaned, and what’s the point, you might get a different room? It’s gross but it was fine) We loved all the wild life so cool to see iguanas and Coati, there are monkeys but we didn’t see them..... but the cats 😕 I love cats I really do and it is genius to bring cats to the resort to keep away rats and mice... but some of these little kitties were in rough shape, and were way to thin. They also need to be fixed, there was several kittens, and the population could get out of hand quickly. These cats are not feral and like a little attention but do not pick them up, just a couple of pets on the head and We gave them fish and chicken when we could. And they do bite when scared so keep your kids away. Don’t go to the travel club presentation no matter what they offer you it’s a waste of your day. Just don’t! Well there is so much more but I’ll end this here. I would recommend this resort to families and couples, and party people!

Canto Del Sol: Great Hotel

Everything with our trip was fantastic. Very clean resort, really good selection of food and drink. Very friendly and helpful staff. Spent most of our time at the pool. Lots of activity for everyone. Look forward to going back.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Beautiful

Food was awesome! Buffets and the a la carte restaurants had outstanding food selections. Great service. Beautiful facilities. Clean. Easy to access all the different venues. Would return tomorrow.

Riu Santa Fe: Great Fun Place

I would definitely return to and recommend this resort. If you like a quiet time or a really fun time, this is the place to go!! The resort is kept spotless and the food was fine (not spectacular but good). There are 4 parties held in a separate area that look to be a ton of fun with a foam pool and DJ etc ..... I enjoyed the swim up bar best.. enjoying the water and some different drinks and making new friends. There are also quiet areas if that's what you prefer.. Sunscape Sabor Cozumel: Great Family Memories in Cozumel!

Sunscape Sabor was a lovely family-friendly resort with something for everyone to enjoy! The grounds were lovely, with beautiful garden and beach views. The beach was beautiful and had spectacular views along the coast. There was amazing snorkelling right off the beach and at the pier and the resort had so many activities for adults and kids alike to enjoy all day, beach or poolside. The food was good and there was plenty of variety; we especially enjoyed the Portofino Buffet, which had amazi [... read more]ng views of the beach and coast. Each day had a new theme with local and international cuisine and dishes. Between the buffet, bbq and snack stations and restaurants, you could pretty much eat whenever you wanted! The staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful and we felt welcome and comfortable asking for information or assistance. Check in with staff to know when they're around and they'll be happy to serve you! The staff also organized many fun activities for children and adults alike and our kids loved playing volleyball in the pool or at the beach, a movie night on the beach, ping pong, Mexican games, and the super fun foam party on Saturday night! The kids were well supervised during activities and this allowed us adults to have some time to ourselves while the kids were always safe and close by so we could check in on them. We had a great week overall and wish we could have stayed a bit longer; thanks to Tracy Weldon for helping us book our wonderful Mexican vacation at Sunscape Sabor; loads of fun, sun, adventure, and relaxation for the whole family to enjoy! If we ever return to Cozumel, we know where to go!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Very nice resort

Resort was very nice and clean. Staff were friendly. Food was good. Not on the beach, but the beach was a short walk away. Royal Golden Lobby Bar staff were very attentive, even brought drinks to the pool for us. Try the Mexican Guiness!

Allegro Cozumel: Understaffed and not a quality resort

We travelled with our family - 8 in total. Our room was closest to the disco. Understaffed at the restaurants; no refills of drinks. Ice cream and coffee machine always broken. Pools were cold. Staff at front desk made no extra effort. Couldn’t get into a la carte restaurants. Buffet was so full one night we had to wait 30 minutes. This was supposed to be a special vacation and I’m disappointed all the money we spent to have a week like we did :(

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Beautiful resort

It’s location is away from the beach in the “jungle” the setting is amazing - lovely winding pathways through natural trees and plants. All kinds of birds singing. Wonderful swimming pools. Shuttles to beach and restaurants were fun and no waiting. Food was terrific and the service was excellent . Planning for next year already

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Very nice resort

The resort was very clean, eco friendly which is important to me. Friendly//helpful staff, good food, nice rooms, pools nicely maintained, beach was nice and the entertainment was great. I loved that there were lots of wildlife free to roam the resort. My only concern was a few had been caged, and they didn’t seem to have much room or greenery etc (upsetting).. Ocean Coral and Turquesa: Excellent resort

I traveled with my elderly parents the last week in January 2019. When deciding on a resort I specified that I wanted a smaller resort with easy beach, pool and restaurant access and Nicole Deforest recommended this resort. We were extremely pleased with everything! Clean, friendly staff, excellent food, easy access. I would very much recommend this hotel.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Great value

Stayed at the Grand palladium in Akemal January 2019.Very well maintained resort with lots of pathway options. Very safe feeling resort. Shows have been updated this year with a great dance troop providing entertainment. most nights. The paths through the mangroves are like a free eco adventure so slow down and pay attention. Food was plentiful with lots of choices. Rooms were lovely and the beach had good sandy areas and fish to see. especially late afternoon. Not a party resort.

Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres: Wonderful staff, food and atmosphere!

The Grand Palladium at Costa Mujeres was beautiful with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were amazing. The resort is new with a few safety issues like no hand railings on stairways and steps on the outside areas not well lit. The entire resort was clean with a Happy atmosphere.

Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf and Spa: Lovely resort, but needs more staff

The grounds and pools were lovely, as were the rooms. However, there never seemed to be enough staff to accommodate the visitors. It took far too long to get coffee or water at breakfast and that was after asking more than one server. Our rooms were cleaned twice in a week and not particularly well. Even getting drinks poolside took longer than it should have. I don’t think the staff weren’t good, there just weren’t enough of them. And the food was generally OK. Not fantastic.

Viva Maya by Wyndham: Nice resort.

Grounds very nice an clean, well maintained. Nice, relaxing public areas (especially the one by the main lobby). Clean rooms, but facial tissues Not provided! We would expect from this kind of resort complimentary fridge refill and free safety box. There was only one complimentary bottle of water per person upon arrival and empty fridge. Additional water available at high price in the lobby store. Standard buffet with No organic choices. Butter replaced with margarine. Dress code fo [... read more]r ala carte restaurants required on website but not enforced at all, same with kids age limitation posted on the sign at the main pool. On the positive side there were sufficient amount of lounge chairs around the pool as well as on the beach. So you could find the lounge chair even around 10 -11am. Staff helpful and friendly.
