Grand Memories Varadero: Fine resort well kept.

Friendly staff and prompt attention to requests.Public washrooms need fix up. Night snack restaurant may offer enhanced options.Add another night snack bar. Question to ask ......May be worded as " HOW YOUNG ARE YOU " ?

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Good Resort

- Hotel was great - Room is comfortable enough - Front desk (reception) workers are very aggressive and not a good service provider - Gardeners are very polite and always say hello (they gave flowers to my wife so made our stay that much enjoyable) - Bar tenders and food servers in the buffet were very friendly - House keepers (hotel room cleaners) didn't clean properly at all and when we asked they were very rude (but its not a deal breaker) - Beach and pools were great - Buffet was great but g [... read more]ot food poisoning at one of the restaurant that we booked for an evening out (Cuban Restaurant)

Barcelo Solymar: Will definitely return!!!!!

Got back 2 weeks ago. Travelled from Aug.28-Sept.11/2015. Sunwing staff AWESOME! Resort staff AWESOME! Alexis you are the best, always took good care of our mini-bar ! Shout out to Genny at reception! She rocks! Beach Breath Taking! Nautica staff SUPERSTARS! Love all 6 of them (Norbert, Rolando, Hector, Jorge, my Niño (Anthony) and Hello! Hello!) Beach bar awesome! Shout out to Alexander, Nainyelt, Niño, Giovel, Eli, Jose, Jasmany and all the rest. They are discreet but always around. Always felt safe! Can't say it enough: they are TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! Stayed in the hotel, 4th floor, oceanview. Our chambermaid was TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! Don't remember her name, but sounds like Marsy.... They turn off the AC in the rooms during the day. Goes back on around 7pm. Frustrating when you go to your room earlier. AC in Buffet barely works. Made it really difficult to sit and eat. Thank God for awesome staff! Unfair for them to work under those conditions. You must try , 10 minutes walking distance from Barceló, Meson del Quijote, as long as you have Lazaro as your waiter. You will meet him on the beach during the day! You must try Dante's and Varadero 60!!!! Before I forget, we met a few people that stayed in the bungalows and there was no issues with the AC. Because of the staff, we will definitely go back. Hopefully AC will be fixed.

Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Resort beyond expectation

Contrary to friends' opinions, Paradisus Princesa Del Mar service and layout are beyond expectation. One thing that really stood out was the friendliness of the staff. They were always willing to go out of their job routines to assist you.

Blau Varadero: Amazing resort

we enjoyed our stay very much, very clean beautiful resort. Only complaint no air conditioning in lobby, hallways and elevator....more reason to head to the beach though!!, and some lounge saving for big tippers I guess!

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Amazing Vacation at Iberostar Laguna Azul

My family of 4 traveled to Iberostar Laguna Azul. The staff are very friendly and polite. The beach was AMAZING! Laguna Azul has the best beach in my opinion. The resort's nightly shows at the theatre were very entertaining. Loved it! The staff kept us entertained at the beach and the pool, lots of fun dancing and games! We loved the ice cream parlour by the pool on the way to the beach. We had a great time at Iberostar Laguna Azul and would definitely recommend it.

Barcelo Solymar: Hotel needs improvement but....

Aside for the air condition that was turned OFF everyday from 10 am to 5 pm, so much for afternoon naps! The rest was good, the staff was amazing and the beach breathtaking! Dollars for value it was a great and fun trip!!!

Blau Varadero: Better the second time around

This was our second time to the Blau Varadero We really enjoy coming here as the staff really do make the place to what it is The hotel grounds are really great and there's always some staff wanting to see if they can offer you anything.We found the food to be good as there always seem to be plenty to eat Yes some days there were repetitive items in the buffet but you could find food any time of the day in other spots on the resort I am even looking at booking for Apr of 2016

Sol Palmeras: Disappointing

Bungalow room in disrepair, right down to holes in sheets. Was expecting rustic 4 star being Cuba - but badly disappointed. Hotel & grounds good, pool average, beach beautiful, food ok - but stomach/digestive issues.

Iberostar Selection Varadero: Amazing time spent

We had an amazing time @ Iberostar Varadero. People and staff are friendly. Amazing beach and pool area. Food are great for us. As for the ALA CART restaurants highly recommend the Mediterrinean. Please do not book the Japanese Restaurant. We find sushi is too sour (too much vinegar on the rice and rice are too mushy) Fried rice are too salty. Other than the Japanese restaurant, the buffet food are not bad.

Palma Real: very friendly andfun resort

Good fopd, clean hôtel , lots or french people, activities on beach ans at thé pool ,been at this hôtel 4 times, i do recommend Bellevue Palma Réal Ressort un Varadero , Cuba, will surely go back soon :-)

Valentin El Patriarca Varadero: Good resort

Spent 7 days here with my families, generally speaking it is a good place, friendly people, nice beach, clean room. Food is OK, you can't expected too much in Cuba. But those 3 restaurants (even the buffet) were closed randomly without any notice to visitors. There is no map or any information booklet in your room. You will like those bars.

Grand Memories Varadero: People were very friendly and resort was great

This resort was amazing always clean and all the staffs was always friendly and helpful, I stayed here from September 13-20 and never had to wait for breakfast, lunch or dinner which was awesome. If you ever visit there hook up with the bell boy George he's just one of our favorite person there and made us feel like home.

Starfish Jibacoa: Wonderful resort!

We were on the Jibacoa Villa Tropico from 12 to 19 September 2015. This 3 star resort, but the service is 5 stars! We just loved it! Everything was perfect - cleaning rooms, reception service, beach etc.. Special thanks to all the people who work there, very friendly and attentive, always ready to help. Brisas Del Caribe: Beautiful Beach

Had a lovely week stay in Brisas Del Caribe. It was extremely hot, the beach was the best beach I have ever seen. Great snorkeling and explored Bella Caves in Matanza. Definitely worth seeing. Resort... Older by nature but okay. The friendliest staff and fabulous Massage Therapist. Good food, no complaints.

Occidental Arenas Blancas: love this place ; like a second home

I've been to th resort many times. I always look forward to seeing the staff and especially think the reception is incredible. I want to thank all of the staff for making every visit an enjoyable experience

Grand Memories Varadero: Lovely beach, terrible food, unfriendly staff

The beach was about the best and only thing great about this resort. The food was always cold, the drinks were warm, you could tell the food was probably re-used from the night before as it wasn't fresh. My boyfriend was sick for 4 out of the 7 days we were there because of the food. It was such a disappointment and stressful vacation overall. I would probably visit Cuba again but certainly not this resort even though it's supposed to be a 4 star hotel. Blau Varadero: 3rd time this year!

My husband and I just got back from our 3rd vacation this year at Blau Varadero. EXCELLENT HOTEL EXCELLENT SERVICE EXCELLENT PROFESSIONALISM There are a lot of people to thank for our great stay. Grand Memories Varadero: Beautiful resort

This is a renovated resort, stunning job on the rooms and grounds Rooms above clean, beautiful resort very clean Food was good, anything you coudl want hugh selection. And No i did not get sick , All the staff was helpful and extremely nice. I was in building #21 right by the pool. Had an amazing time, Loved it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Great resort!

Clean, well-kept resort with friendly staff. Good food at the buffet restaurant. Not all specialty restaurants are open every night, but staff were accommodating in making alternate plans. Beach was pleasantly quiet (no motorized water sports) but catamaran sailing stopped early in the afternoon. Location is a long way out - almost at the end of the peninsula.
