The grounds were great . The rooms were nice size .The shower was very small.The food was very good in some spots and average in other restaurants. The layout of the hotel was average.The cheek in was very slow. The bar fridge was never stocked all week. The staff were Ok . The pizza spot was fantastic. entertainment was great. If you would like your hotel to be on the upper class please call me and we can take. Thanks A lot Randy

Ocean Blue and Sand: Great Resort

The resort was really nice, the food was awesome, the pools were cool, lots of chairs around pool, didn't have to search for any or wait for one. It was a great experience. The only thing I found wrong was the bathrooms were not thoroughly cleaned. I found dried toothpaste on the walls (god knows how long it was there cause it was there the whole week I was) and the floors had urine stains on them all around the toilet that would not come out. Grand Sirenis Tropical Suites: It was alright but not up my ally.

This is my first time going to Dominican Republic. I have also been to Cuba and Panama. I don't know if it's specific to this resort or not, but when I'm having difficulty getting beers in a can so that I can drink after 2am when apparently everything is shut down, it makes for some frustrating times. I like to go to these resorts to have a good time and not have to worry about having a specific wrist band to get specific top shelf booze. I was told by tripcentral on the phone that I would have  [... read more]access to all top shelf and that wasn't the case. When I spoke to the airtransat supplier of the issue I was told nothing could be done. The food and weather we're great. The pools were a bit dirty and needed some work. The grounds were well kept. Staff was friendly. Apparently I am not able to get an espresso at the lobby bar before 9am because they are closed. Both times I went to Cuba, I could get whatever I want 24/7 and that includes having fresh fries at 4am not fries that have been sitting in a buffet for hours on end. Also, every 3rd day at this resort, they have local vendors. Avoid at all costs. They are extremely rude and pushy. Were not the nicest rooms in the world, everything I brought back home with me smelled of mold. I didn't have a horrible time but I think this resort is better for families and older couples.

Occidental Caribe: Beautiful Resort!

I traveled with my daughter and we had a wonderful time. The staff were all so nice and helpful, the pools and the beach are beautiful and at this time of year not busy at all. We loved the food! So much fun it was hard to say goodbye. Can't wait to go back!!

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Outstanding Resort

Upgraded to Preferred Club area, worth every penny! Upscale, clean, beyond friendly staff. Preferred Club pools, lounges, services, food, all excellent! Surprised us with cake and champagne for husband's birthday, extra little touches too numerous to mention, would return in a heartbeat!

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: worst stay ever!!!!

My husband and i have been staying at this same resort for the past 3 years, never a problem.....till this trip!. The manager at the front desk was very rude, she was snotty and rolled her eyes. The first 2 rooms we stayed in had broken air conditioning ( she said that building was under construction). I asked her why would you check us in a place that you knew was under construction? Her answer....i don't know, can you believe that! So we finally get a room on the first floor with a working air [... read more] conditioner, meanwhile the room stunk! That's why we always choose the 3rd floor..but they stuck us on the 1st. The bar service was great. The food was good, but unfortunately i ended my trip with food poisoning. My very last night was over the toilet throwing up...not to mention others things. To sum it all up, we will not be returning to Be Live Collections Punta Cana.

Paradisus Punta Cana: Peel me a grape resort!

Every inch of this resort is spectacular. The people are wonderful, service over the top, and food truly wonderful. The beach is like something out of a movie and Royal Service Ocean View is the ONLY way to go!

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Beautiful Resort

I really enjoyed the excellent entertainment at this resort and the fact that it was a five minute tram ride to the beautiful beach and facilities at.the Royalton. Our room was large enough to have an extra bed in it because there were three single women. Can't say enough about the always pleasant staff.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Good Resort

Grounds were beautiful, rooms were nice and clean...wide variety of food choices at the buffet....two a la cartes we went to were Italian and Garden Grill....both were good but I would say the Garden Grill was the best one out of any we've been to on any trip...Resort was too big personally for our liking but if the price were right we'd certainly return. Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Spectacular Resort

This was our third trip to Punta Cana and our first stay at the Ambar. Superior resort with a fantastic beach and superb a la cartes! The staff was amazing and did everything they could to make you feel welcome! Will definitely recommend this resort

I just returned from a week at Ambar and can't say enough great things. The resort was spotless - they actually scrub down the pool area every night. The room was always clean and restocked every day. Thanks to Liane ( I maybe misspelt that) so taking such great care of me and my room! I was in Ambar 2, second floor, and had a fabulous view of the pool! For those that say the beach is far away I have one comment - are you kidding me? It wasn't even 5 minutes to walk it! Takara and el Olivio were amazing as well. Portafino - the chicken medallions were really good. Even the buffet was great. A special hello to William and Carlos at the Ambar 2 bar... They are so friendly and nice. I miss them already! Everyone at the resort were incredibly friendly and helpful. I will go back! Also for the lady who checked me into room 81208... Gracias gracias gracias! Loved it! I am sorry but I can't remember her name but she was so professional and friendly. Other tips Sushi at Ambar pool is excellent! Garden grill - if you love steak... Order something else. That was disappointing. Sorry. - my only complaint Beach is beautiful!

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Wonderful beaches

The beaches and grounds were immaculate. The food was surprisingly good for a buffet and the restraunts were delicious. I would get reservations immediately as they go quick. The rooms were nice but the walls are paper thin so don't expect alot of privacy. All in all it was a great trip

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana: Wonderful Vacation

We had an amazing time in Punta Cana at the Hard Rock Hotel. The food was wonderful, the drinks were top shelf and the grounds and rooms were very clean. The beach is specatular as well as the pools, I think our kids were in every one except the adult. Great resort for families so much to do we never left the resort.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Average hotel

The rooms were a little dated but clean, food was good, enjoyed the quiet pool. A distance to go to the beach but worth it. We were able to use the facilities at the Royalton but you had to pay $15.00 a person.

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Great resort

Had a great time! Good staff and lots to do. Clean rooms, gorgeous beach! Really liked how you didn't have to make reservations at all for dinner each night for a la carte! The only negative I could say is the resort is very large. We were lucky to have a room close to the beach and pool.

Occidental Punta Cana: Great Resort

This is a wonderfully relaxing resort that fulfilled all of our expectations. Our check in was quick and we were in our room within minutes of arriving. We travelled with Air Transat Preferred club and really appreciated the extras that came with this package. There was a fruit plate and bottle of rum in the room upon arrival and the mini bar was always fully stocked. We really never lacked for anything. The rooms were clean and spacious. The grounds at this resort are so pretty and very well maintained. The staff are always cleaning and keeping everything as spotless as possible. The beach is absolutely beautiful and if even a little seaweed came onto the beach it was immediately cleaned up. As with many resorts there are vendors who will attempt to try to sell their products but they were always respectful and took no for an answer. What we enjoyed the most about this resort was the friendliness of all the staff. From the waiters, to the maids and also the grounds cleaning staff we were always greeted with a smile and hello. Everyone was so helpful and went out of their way to make our stay relaxing. We look toward to our next visit to this resort.

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Best I'v stayed at in the Dominican Rep

The beach was beautiful. The view from my room was breathtaking. I came to the resort to have my wedding. I brought 28 people with me and they all said the food at my cocktail hour, wedding and at the resort was amazing.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Very nice, relaxing resort

The grounds were very well manicured, everything was clean.The staff were great, especially Fransico. We couldn't complain about the food. The complex is very large; however, easy to get around with the shuttle buses and you could certainly walk everywhere.

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Easily the best resort i've been to in Punta Cana

Beautiful, grand, quiet and relaxing but at the same time lots going on. Service was absolutely fantastic, everyone was very polite and accommodating. It always felt like there were lots of people and lots of activities on the go - but at the same time it never felt over crowded or loud. There was plenty of space to sit back and not take part in activities if you wanted, but you always felt included. Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Nice, huge resort

Nice and clean resort. Many restaurant, pool, space, chairs for everybody. Cart/train available all day, do not need to wait too long for one and always room for many people. Boutique available on site.
