Grand Palladium Colonial: Great trip
The resort was very nice, well kept and clean. I was not expecting it to be so big. The three resorts are very close together so it feels like you are a one giant place. There are shuttles the take you from lobby to lobby but had a hard time finding any to take. Looked like there were more parked then out driving people around. Lots of options for food. Definitely didn’t go hungry. The beach was small but the pools were nice. The main pool at the colonial seemed to be very busy all the time bu [... read more]
TRS Coral: Beautiful brand new resort in Cancun, Mexico!
We enjoyed our recent vacation at the TRS Coral, Cancun, for 10 days (Jan. 19-29, 2019). The swim-up room was beautiful, the staff were very friendly & helpful and the specialty dining restaurants were outstanding. We liked the unique feature of the key to our room being readily accessible on our wrist bands. And, the electronic button in our room which we could press for either 'do not disturb" or "kindly make up our room" requests. The beach was really lovely & kept clear of seaweed an [... read more]
Breathless Riviera Cancun: Breathless Punta Cana much better
I have travelled all over the carribean and have twice visited Breathless Punta Cana so I thought I would give the Cancun Riviera a try. I would not give it as glaring a review. The property has great staff and they work hard to make you feel welcome. That can not be said about the management who are rude and abrupt. I was charged for extra cleaning of my room because of a cut I had that stained sheets and a pillow. This was made much more agrevating by fact that most days I had to call t [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Fun trip
Everything was what we had hoped it would be. Good service, food and very clean. Thank you for a great time. Our transportation was always on time. Rooms cleaned every day. We would of like a closer beach...but the pools were amazing. We are planning on another trip.
Riu Flamingos: Riu Jalisco
The hotel was very nice and the resort was incredible. Staff- excellent Food- the breakfasts were amazing, the buffet restaurant was excellent all the time, the specialty restaurants were a little disappointing. The snack bar was excellent. All desserts were great. Rooms - were very nice with great views, however, the rooms always smelled musty and there was some black mold in the bathroom. Loved the towel critters we found on our bed after the rooms had been cleaned. Pools- the water w [... read more]
Crown Paradise Golden: Not a good holiday
The hotel staff were excellent. Hotel and rooms are dated. The two restaurants in adult section were excellent. The two outside bars, the music played was different and very loud. The entertainment music was deafeningly loud (had to leave five shows). The beach vendors were a constant irritant by bothering one every few minutes giving no time to relax. The beach was not very good
Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: FANTASTIC AND EXCELLENT RESORT
THIS HOTEL RESORT HAD EVERYTHING, GREAT GROUNDS, GREAT SERVICE, FANTASTIC BUFFET AND EXCELLENT RESTAURANTS, THE STAFF WERE OUTSTANDING FROM MANAGEMENT TO THE GROUNDS KEEPERS.I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESORT AND I WOULD COME BACK AGAIN. Catalonia Royal Tulum: Awesome all-inclusive
I am a 70-year-old sophisticated traveller who has been in 93 countries over my 55 years of travel. The reviews I read were so exceptional that I was skeptical. This resort was even better than the reviews. It's the best all-inclusive resort I have ever seen, anywhere, at any price range. Very laid back. Sophisticated Canadian, European and South American adults only clientele. Exceptionally well managed in every way. No queues. No reservations for anything. Simply walk in to any of the many the [... read more]
Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Wonderful Holiday
This was the second time my husband and I visited this hotel. The food is plentiful and fantastic. The restaurant service is very friendly and staff are very knowledgeable. We were fortunate to receive a room upgrade to a suite over looking the ocean. This upgrade definitely enhanced our stay. Every morning we would take pictures of the sun rise and the beach view. Prior to the room upgrade, our view consisted of the jungle. A bit disappointing.
Sunscape Sabor Cozumel: Moldy Rooms
We just returned on February 1st from a week stay here and definitely would not return! There was mold growing behind our bed and in our bathroom and the tub felt like you were going to fall through it not to mention the air conditioner leaking water all over! We do not require fancy or modern but draw the line at black mold growing behind your bed and. Your bathroom!!! We asked about an upgrade thinking maybe some rooms had been renovated they took us to view another room which was exactl [... read more]
Riu Emerald Bay: Will be back again!
The Riu Emerald Bay was a perfect all-inclusive choice! From the moment we arrived, we were treated well by all the staff, even treated with a cold beverage right off the bus. The resort itself was very well kept. The rooms were comfortable, and every room had a beautiful view of the ocean (upper floors are better). The elevators were very slow, but at least you had a view while you waited. The hotel was clean, and had plenty of eating options. Of course, by the end of the week, we were bored of [... read more]
Paradisus Cancun: An OK hotel
The hotel itself is beautiful and very well maintained. The rooms are clean and spacious. There are lots of palapas on the beach and by the pool if you want some shade. The biggest disappointment is the food in the buffet. NOTHING was ever remotely warm so all food was cold. There was a lot of food but not many cooked vegetables. Most of the food was very bland and salt and pepper were not on the table. You had to ask for it and then they put it on your food. The waiters were very acco [... read more]
Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Good resort
Very nice hotel Beach was good Food in restaurants was amazing but buffet was only ok Royalton push their time share sales pitch too much, gets annoying Rooms are amazing Entertainment was very good Staff was ok not the quickest for example at the buffet we would usually be done our first plate before we got any water or drinks to the table Maid staff was amazing not sure if it was just because we were Diamond club though
Breathless Riviera Cancun: Spectacular resort
The hotel, staff and service was exceptional. Very clean and friendly.....Food was fantastic and great entertainment for all......Loved it and would do it again anytime..... Highly recommended.......great resort for singles aged 25-70
Las Brisas Huatulco: Totally enjoyed our stay!
We really had a great week, the only thing that we did not appreciate was the dirty floor in the room. The floor was not washed properly. Walking from the shower to the bed our feet got dirty. Otherwise no other issues.
Princess Mundo Imperial: Beautiful resort!
We had a group of 7 for this holiday and we all enjoyed it. Rooms & beds were great. Awesome views. Buffet breakfast was good, but choices never changed. We had hoped there would be theme nights. Surprised for a resort this size that there weren't more al acartes. The Italian had great wood fired pizzas. We went to the 2 sister resorts and enjoyed them both. We met the best server "Filipe" @ Restaurant Aqua. From the moment we arrived he looked after our group. We also had a great b [... read more]
Barcelo Puerto Vallarta: Not great!
It's a small resort in middle of nowhere. it's 40 minute cab ride of downtown Puerta Vallarta. the rooms need some upgrading and there's always repairs going on. The buffet is limited and lacking in the variety of food. I am a beach person but spent the whole week by the pool. the beach is not great for swimming or laying in the sun. the loungers are in the shade for most the day and the waters are rough for swimming. Housekeeping lacked since everyday I had to go hunting for wash cloths, [... read more]

Great resort with lots of seating with shade..pool was large....lots of mature trees and grounds...beautiful beach...nice sand...waves... Staff was good...food and drinks were good...spa sensations was terrific... Free WiFi and nice mall attached..to the 5 resorts...
Riu Flamingos: Beautiful
This is the second time we have stayed at a RIU and were not disappointed. Staff are wonderful, grounds are clean and tidy. We did enjoy all our meals from the buffets to the ala cartes. The entertainment was great! And was always fun to see the guests join in!
Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Paraiso Maya is perfect for us!
Just returned from our 48th visit. Yes, 48 times. Not a typo. It has everything we want. Not too far from the airport, a very long beach for walking, warm temperatures even during a polar vortex, exceptionally friendly staff, great food, very nice & clean rooms, golf, a new gym with very nice equipment & knowledgeable trainers, a variety of TV choices, free WIFI and always plenty of other nice people to spend time with, many of whom have also been there lots of times before. Oh yeah - and for al [... read more]
