Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Amazing resort

Beautiful, clean resort. Interesting wildlife throughout. Loved the pools including the swim up bars and "foam party". Everyone enjoyed the lazy river over and over again. The young people in our group enjoyed the disco and we all liked the lobby bars. The food at the buffet is varied and excellent. The Mexican a la cater was good too. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Room not what we expected

The room we had was not what we expected, the tripcentral website described it as a Luxury Junior suit and the hotel named it as "Studio", we expected separate room for the kids but we ended up in the same room with two queen beds.....I have been booking my trip with you since over 6 years and this time I had this disappointment.....other than that the service was good and the food was excellent....on the downside the see was not clear water

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Great resort

The resort was well cared for. The staff work very hard to keep everything clean. The food is very good at both the buffets and a la cartes....something for everyone. Service was excellent...never an issue getting a drink or coffee. The beach is not good at all....very narrow and lots of seaweed. The workers do their best to rid the beach of this but it is a constant battle. The shows in the evening are typical....not great but they try their best. Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Beautiful Resort

The resort was clean and well kept. Everything was perfect during our stay. The resort was busy however we could always find a lounge chair and no problems getting into the restaurants. The staff were very friendly and happy to serve us. The food was amazing. I would definitley go back!

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Okay resort

Too big, especially walking around with children. Food is very average. Staff friendly and nice. Beach is nice but amenities were less than what we expected. Place too far from Cancun and therefore, too much travelling time for excursions. Hotel is poorly managed as one gets different information from different people. Despite all this, the price was not cheaper than some of the better resorts that we have stayed at previously. Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Very fine resort

The hotel is beautifully designed, spacious, ample facilities and architecturally creative and very attractive. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The accommodations are spacious and attractive and the facilities excellent. The food is bountiful and very varied and the quality is adequate. All in all a most enjoyable and memorable stay.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: It was OK

Overall the stay was ok. Great NYE party! I am not sure how the resort is considered 'luxury'. We spent a lot of time at Akumal pool/beach. Some shortfalls in service, for example: - having to explain how to make a white wine spritzer to each staff member every time you ordered - poor English of the staff (practically non-existent), it was so difficult to communicate - we were there only 3 nights, some accommodation should have been made for us to visit at least one of the a la carte restaurants [... read more] but were told no availability (only 5:30/10pm seating times) - 2 beds requested, when checked in the beds were pushed together, had to call twice then wait for them to be separated - rooms are small - being told at the restaurant you can't come in because of a wet bathing suit (first time I've experienced this at any resort, it is the way it was communicated and no attempt to accommodate in any way, ie provide to sit on a towel) - no snack bars, food areas where you can eat in your bathing suit etc. (only 1 at Akumal and it is far away from the main area) I would not return to Sian Kaan, however would consider/recommend Akumal if returning to the area.

Grand Oasis Riviera: Beautifule Resort

Stayed at the Grand Oasis Tulum over christmas and new years. The reort is very beautiful but didn't realize how calm of a resort this is. We were always looking for things to do and had a problem once we got back. Had some pictures taken with a monkey and paid for 4 pictures and once we got home there were no pictures. The hotel is trying to recover these for us. I will rate it as a 4 star cause due to some mishaps the reort and staff were great

Iberostar Waves Tucan: great resort

well kept property, very friendly staff. Initially did not get our room requests, however we were then moved to another building closer to the beach that matched our request. enjoyed the ice cream at the beach!

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Good resort, amazing food, lots to do!

The resort was nice. The food was better than any 5 star resort, simply amazing. The beach, however wasn't very good. It was a very rocky, so you had to walk outside of the resort to go to a nice beach. Also, water bottles were nowhere to be found - I get this is an "eco" resort, but this was a great inconvenience in the hot weather! Overall, a positive experience.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Top notch place

This is a very well run property with excellent rooms, pools, restaurants and service. Everyone is very friendly and service oriented. I recommend this place for people with families as it is very kid friendly and has excellent facilities for kids including a kids water park which my five year old thoroughly enjoyed. The beach is less than a ten minute trolley ride away. There was some seaweed in the water and on the beach the day that we were there - but the staff stay on top of it and clear it [... read more] away as quickly as they can. Mayan ruins are nearby for a tour. All in all we were very satisfied with our stay.

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Amazing Resort, Amazing Staff

Dec 17-27, 10 days of glorious sun, fun and family. If you are looking for a family style resort, then this is the place for you. The staff was undoubtedly the best I have ever experienced in an all inclusive. What made this resort so special is that it is not part of a big chain but family owned. Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great Resort would go back!

We travelled the week of December 12 - 19, 2015 Pros: The hotel was fabulous, grounds, public areas, food (there definitely is something for everyone even picky eaters, we also had no problems booking Ala carte) ,rooms and staff. Although not on the beach no trouble to get there. love the fact that the resort was quiet and great for a restful vacation. being able to use the other resorts for beach and food was great. Cons: distance from airport especially when leaving you had to leave early in t [... read more]he morning so you lost a whole day. Also, if you wanted to leave the hotel to do anything it was very expensive by cab i.e. $35 U.S. to get to Playa Del Carmen one way, however you could take the bus and that was only $3.50. Entertainment: I really think especially being an adult only the entertainment could be updated if you travel a lot seeing Michael Jackson becomes redundant. and if would have been nice to see something different. having said that the weather was awesome and the vacation was great.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Fantastic adult only resort!

Excellent service, fabulous food, beautiful rooms, and a fantastic animation team (shout out to Rigo & Joel) hit this resort out of the park! This was our first time here but we have previously stayed at Gran Bahia adult only resorts in DR - this was a while different level up (ironically, for a lower price). The beach is not that great or convenient but we are not really beach people so we don't care. The pools are fantastic, surrounded by beautiful trees. We will definitely be back.

Desire Resort: excellent

After more than ten trips to all inclusive, this was the best trip to date. The food and service was excellent, the vibe was very chill. All the staff were helpful and happy. The rooms were clean. The entertainment was enjoyable.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Awesome resort

The azul property was recommended to me I was weary about goin there we have a new daughter this resort was super amazing the kids section was awesome and the people wrking it the resort itself was very modern would cme back

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Best place in the Mayan so far

The resort had it all, from room service to tasty blender drinks. Easy to locate where all the buildings had amenities for all travelers. Will definitely be back again real soon. A la carte to die for and main buffet almost as good!!

El Dorado Royale: we love this resort

this was our 2nd visit to the Valentine Imperial this year. We love the beach (minus the weeds), the grounds and the food. the staff was great. we had a bit of trouble with the a/c in the room but issue was quickly resolved.

Royal Hideaway Playacar: Absolutely best resort I have been at!

The resort is stunning from the villa type rooms with a concierge at every villa - We had Hector and by far went over the top to ensure every one of our needs were meet and exceeded he was on top of everything from booking our restaurant selections - that were true fine dining and yes you can get into each of the 5 restaurants with no problems - he literally took care of our every need and truly treated us as more of a friend then another number definitely be back to see him.. I had a dental iss [... read more]ue come up - root canel - and they literally had a doctor at my room withing hours to have a look at me with they had made arrangements for a dentist the very next day to correct the problem all at a fraction of the price we pay in Canada and done within hours at perhaps one of the best dental experiences I have had as well this was all arranged by the hotel I literally had to do nothing they took the time and cared enough to have me picked up dropped off all done.for me ahead of time I literlly had to do nothing! There are way to many things to list that resort excelled at list them all so In short the best experience we have had and will be booking our next trip soon with them. My Thanks to the Management and staff of the Royal Hideaway for truly making this our best vacation ever.

Dreams Puerto Morelos Resort and Spa: good resort

hi, just got back from Secrets Silversands. We had been there once before when it first opened and we had been reading some very good reviews. We were happy to have a nice swim out room in building 4 facing the Sugar Reef Bar and the Barefoot Grill (nice food cooked each day, burgers, fries, wings, hot dogs, pico and guac.) This area is outstanding with views of the resort as well as the ocean. The poolside service by Esther was excellent and Jose the bartender mixed excellent drinks. House wines were Chilean and just fine. Ample towels, good stocking of room bar fridge, turn down service all good. If I have a complaint - it would be the food. It is kinda bland and weird at the same time. I did not really enjoy the food except for a dinner at the Seaside Grill Restaurant... I did not like all the birds flying around trying to get your food. We have been to other Secrets Resorts and they have had hawks to fly around to stop the other birds from coming around. Not the case here and they were quite an annoyance. I would recommend a swimout room if you do stay, no fighting for a lounger! which can be a big bonus! The Barracuda Bar down by the ocean is a must see at night after dinner, beautiful! Coffee and drinks at the coffee shop was outstanding. You will have a good time here and maybe loose some weight from not eating so much.
