Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: great time great resort!

We had so much fun at Belive! Food was great and never a shortage! Lots of activities and the shows were amazing and entertaining. The room we stayed in wasnt one of the updated ones but everything worked and was very clean. Who spends all their time in there anyway!? The new ones i did see looked really nice and they are working on doing them all. Food was really good buffet and restaurants. The only one i tried that i wouldnt recommend is the Brazilian. It wasn't that great. The staff are very [... read more] nice and helpful and always in a good mood. The beach is beautiful but there is a lot of seaweed. But if you get past the main part it is clear or if you go for a walk down the beach its also nice and clear. There are vendors there twice a week and they have lots of pretty stuff just offer a quarter of what they are asking and they will come close to that. They are pretty pushy so dont touch anything unless you are interested in it lol. There are sooo many pools!! The main pool is where the swim up bar is and there are lots of others to choose from should you want a quieter atmosphere. He grounds are well kept and very clean! People come with animals to take pictures with which is fun ao i got to hold parrots and monkeys which was awesome! I didnt bother buying the pics. Other than that you are in paradise!!! Stop complaining and enjoy yourself people! Just dont drink too much mama jana or coconut drinks! In general these are used to "clear you out" so dont drink more than a few a day or you will end up in the bathroom! Has nothing to do with the resort they just help with constipation! So go here its fun! Wnjoy the foam party and the shows! I know i did :)

Royalton Punta Cana Resort: Great resort!

Beautiful resort - lots to do and variety of restaurants to select from. Kids waterpark was great as well. Staff are friendly and go over and above to ensure a great vacation experience! Entertainment was great as well - don't miss the Michael Jackson show on Saturday night!

Grand Sirenis Tropical Suites: AMAZING TIME

I recently stayed at this resort (April 19-27) Overall this Resort is Amazing!! The Staff was great and super friendly. Antonio was the best beach waiter, ensuring our drinks were replenished every 20 minutes without needing to ask, he was even able to put an early hot dog order in for me:)!! Luis... Breakfast waiter and Mediterranean waiter, also made sure we were well taken care of!!! They beach was fantastic! The water was crystal clear and no seaweed most of our stay. My one and only complaint would be that I requested an upper level room as I did not want ground floor and unfortunately I was given a ground floor. Thankfully my sister was staying in her own room and we were able to bunk with her for 1 night while we waited to change rooms. The Staff changed our room the very next day and we were put up on the second floor and much better room. However the rooms were a bit dated and the pillows were terrible:( The food at this resort was delicious, and I mean all of it!! The buffet( breakfast lunch and dinner , the beach buffet , The Steak house, Mediterranean , and my absolute favorite The Japanese. We did one excursion , the catamaran , our tour guide Francisco was incredible!! All in all this Resort gets a five star from us!!!

Occidental Punta Cana: Great!!!

The hotel was wonderful. Food was excellent!!! Would definitely go back. Beach was beautiful but could use more sitting. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Occidental Grand was super clean and lots of activities to enjoy.

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Staff treated us like royalty

Our stay at Melia Caribe, D.R. was one of the best times of our lives. Was first trip to D.R. and far exceeded expectations. Everything was handled in a personal and caring way starting with excellent service from our travel agent. The resort staff treated us like royality.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Group Trip for Wedding Gone Wrong

The grounds were we kept and lovely. Have stayed at other 5* in Dominican that the rooms were much nicer and had better housekeeping services. Some in our group had issues getting towels and toilet paper. 2 rooms in our group flooded and staff were not helpful and even tried to move my 89 year old grandparents to a second floor room even though they can't do stairs, someone in our group had to give up their room for my grandparents. Every issue we had the staff said "not my problem", even though [... read more] we had paid for the Royal Club Golden for extra services. They also did not want to honour a spa discount they advertised and wanted our passports in order to change the amount for the spa services. We had 34 people stay there for our wedding and we hoped it would be a good experience and memory but we were left with utter disapointment.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Bahia Principe Ambar, D.R.

Grounds were well kept. The beach was fabulous and there was plenty of shade and sunny spots. We didn't have any problems finding lounge chairs on the beach and spent every day there. Wonderful ocean breezes kept the temperatures from being stifling. Our room was very nice and the maid made sure it was done early in case we wanted a siesta. There were plenty of towels, however, face clothes were harder to come by. I recommend you bring some of your own (in case). Royalton Punta Cana Resort: Excellent Family Resort

Great location, nice clean long beach, food was very good which was a concern of ours as our children are picky eaters. The waterpark is an added bonus that the kids liked which made it an overall excellent family vacation.

Tropical Deluxe Princess: Great Resort in it's Day

This resort is Beautiful, the tress, shrubs, grounds, beach all excellent. the outside appearance of the resort is first class, The food I found good but many in our party did not like, the rooms were very clean but very outdated, some newer furniture, beds, sheets would be a huge improvement.

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Awesome Resort!

This was my husband and my first "all inclusive" resort trip, ever. I told our travelling companions that we should not have made the Melia Caribe our first getaway because it was everything and more then we could have imagined. The grounds were meticulous, food excellent, drinks amazing, beach - a dream come true, room beautiful, clean, and with an awesome view of beautiful gardens. Staff always very, very friendly and so helpful.

Catalonia Bavaro Resort: Awesome Memories Made

My 16 year old son am myself Had a fantastic time the people were great very helpful an very friendly ,the food was amazing , loved the beach ,the room was kept clean .the room was very fine for a standard room (just wish the water was a little warmer in the shower ) but that is the only thing . Everything else was fantastic . We would do it again in a heat beat . Air transit was the best :) Thank you for a memory filled trip !!!

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Great resort, beach was beautiful. Staff friendly.

Rooms were spacious, Big resort ,lots of walking. Beautiful well kept grounds Junior the train driver was helpful. Lounge staff was terrific. A la carte selection was very good. Buffets were ok. Can not wait to go bac.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: They gave us a wonderful time

Spent 10 days at Anbar, the adult-only section of this humungous resort. We were looking for a quiet break from our coldest winter ever and we found heaven. We had comfortable beds in a quiet room just steps away from our restaurant and a 3-minute walk to the beach. The buffets offered a great assortment of beautifully prepared dishes and the house wines were excellent. We had a particularly memorable meal at the Italian restaurant by the beach. We found the Dominican people to be the warmest, h [... read more]appiest and most welcoming people we have ever encountered in our travels. Without exception, from the maid to the restaurant staff, the servers, bell hops, groundskeepers and entertainers, the hotel employees worked their buns off to attend to our every need. Our only complaint (which I gather is also a problem at most resorts) is the lack of enforcement of the rule against reserving seating at the beach. It should not be necessary to haul oneself out of bed before 7:00 every a.m. in order to ensure a spot in the shade.

resort was very clean, however the language barrier was difficult, catered alot in spanish, the shows were to late,easy access to the beach,the food was so so.Would I return no, very difficult to check in to a room upon arrival 2 hour wait at resort

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Paradise

This is a great 5 star hotel. From the time you arrive at Ambar you are greeted and pampered with service. No lining up to check in. You are seated in lobby,drinks served while you fill out room info. Then your keys etc.are brought to you and the facilities are explained. Room large and clean. Food excellent and grounds,pool,everywhere was we'll maintained. Staff extremely friendly.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Really beautiful and good quality

Everything was great and very clean. Service was also great. Location of our room in bldg 64 was an excellent location, near pool and lobby. Trolley service was appreciated especially with the hot temperatures.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Amazing resort!

We booked last minute with Nathan and could not have been happier Beautiful resort, amazing pool with swim up bar , friendly people , great food choices , large comfy rooms with whirl pool that we watched hockey from lol. Great entertainment in evenings or choice of casino or sports bar ( play offs were on ) Beautiful long beach with amazing aqua water. Free kayak , boogie boards , Sail boats and snorkels. We stayed quiet and didnt do the excursions but they looked interesting. And off course we [... read more] had sunshine everyday!!!! Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Great pools and beautiful sandy beach

Clean and friendly. Resort is spread out so you have to be willing to walk. Kids club was great. Husband did get a stomach bug so was not able to enjoy the meals and beverages for a couple of days. Loved the off shore snorklin.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Fabulous Resort!

Ambar 1 is close to the ocean, the rooms are spacious and clean, the food is great and the service spectacular! The staff in every area were very attentive and highly professional. The only thing that could use an update is the gym. Book your a la carte choices in advance of your stay as they book up fast.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Dreams Resorts and Spas Dreams Punta Cana

The hotel needs to rethink the needs of both the guest and the maids. Not enough shelves in the bathroom for toiletries to be properly stored off counter (for up to 4 guests per room). Put in 2 extra dressers in the rooms. Ensure there are enough face clothes each day. Make sure water is always available in the fridge.
