Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: It was ok

The hotel was decent, the staff was friendly and accommodating, my dad and brothers room had mold in it, we didn't notice right away but as the week went on it became more noticeable, i am sure they would have changed their room if we had of brought it to their attention. I paid for an Ocean view but never got one, did't get the king size bed I requested either. They needed more night life other than the disco that was full of locals.

Tropical Deluxe Princess: Loved the resort

Three senior ladies went for a week and totally enjoyed our visit. It’s an older resort but the grounds are kept immaculate. The rooms need some upgrading but are definitely presentable and comfortable. Nothing fancy, very homey. Food was okay, like all other buffets in resorts. The pools were clean. There’s never enough chairs, have to get up early to get one, at the pools and the beach. Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Excellent Resort !!

We have travelled extensively in the Caribbean + this resort has to be among the Best. From our initial greeting in the Main Lobby, to our check out,everything was top-notch. Food was fantastic..never needed to go to a la carte restaurants as buffet was terrific. Cleanliness from hotel rooms to gardens,to pool,beach areas A+. Staff very courteous,tried their best to speak English(if they didn’t speak it). Went out of their way,to please!! Bahia Principe Explore Turquesa: Great family spot

We stayed here with 2 young children and met other family there as well. Everybody had a great time! Great resort! Lots to do for everyone! I will not however book with Tripcentral again because the agent we used was terrible. After the initial booking, she took forever replying to my emails about hotels near the airport and didn’t come through when she said she would. I ended up booking myself.

Sunscape Puerto Plata: Awesome Resort!

We spent a week at Sunscape Puerto Plata. Loved the beautifully maintained grounds, the size of the resort, the staff.... Food was terrific, we tried all the a la cartes...pizza is awesome here, yum. The beach is beautiful, water nice & clear - no rocks and always someone cleaning/raking the beach....great for walking too. Pool great, loved the water temperature. We would (and will!) definitely return to this resort...

Sanctuary Cap Cana Luxury Collection Adults Resort: Good time but a little unsatisfied

Rooms are lovely as expected Check in or out was fine Bars were nice and friendly but lacking some liquors like baileys Irish cream or Appletons rum.(which we have had at other secrets resorts) Staff are extremely nice and always happy to help in any way. Of course there are minor language barriers but that is to be expected and is part of the fun in going to another country. You could get the same item at several different restaurants such as lamb which was prepared the same at each place. Very close to the airport The spa or messages are ridiculously priced at like $220 USD per person when on sale !!!! They could be making soooo much more if it were more reasonable like say $80 The beach surprisingly doesn't go for miles and miles. Very limited to the left and maybe half a mile to the right Our air Transat rep wasn't even there the day we were to meet him. He could not have been less enthusiastic in helping us.

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: BeLive beautiful vacation

We had a wonderful family vacation loved the perfect size of the resort everything was a short walk to get to!! The beach was awesome lots of loungers, but had to get up early to get a palapa 😎 the food was excellent the buffet had lots of variety and the beach restaurant had great lunch choices in small portions(soft ice cream in sugar cones was amazing) Brazilian and Japanese were the only a la cartes we done but they were both fantastic!! The only complaint I have is the front desk staff were not very friendly or easy to deal with but dealing with them was only a short amount of our stay. The shows were good but they didn’t start till 945 so was a bit late for kids and early risers but they were good shows. Overall a great resort!!

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: superb resort

This hotel and resort was immaculate! The staff never stopped working to keep everything from the rooms to the grounds sparkling clean. I was very impressed! I would also like to mention how much fun the entertainment was at the pool. We never stopped laughing! Water aerobics was a blast! We miss it already. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Wildly exceeded expectations!!

We were originally booked in at the Majestic Elegance but they were unable to meet our specific room request so they gave us a free upgrade to the Majestic Mirage with VIP access to all 3 resorts including all restaurants and shows. This also came with a room with a rooftop Jacuzzi and a butler for the week - amazing!! Not to mention all the free perks with the room at the Mirage including complimentary Champagne and other assorted alcohol which we were encouraged to bring home any we did not us [... read more]e, beautiful golf shirts and hats. We ate like kings and queens every day - the food was superb!! What we found made the difference, was the people/staff who went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and entertaining as possible. This was our first trip to an all-inclusive resort and we are not really lay on the beach kind of travelers but we were blown away by the excellent time we had thanks to the hard working folks at the resort. Thank you to all - it was a fantastic trip we would love to do again !!!

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Beautiful

Every thing was very nice but they need a full length mirror in the rooms it was hard getting ready for a wedding not knowing what you looked like.The grounds were very well keeped up. The beach was beautiful all but the seaweed but they were working very hard to keep it cleaned up you could walk for miles on it and we walked every day . I didn’t care for the people begging you to come to there shop to buy all the time.

Ocean Blue and Sand: Great Resort

The food was awesome! The grounds were beautiful! When we called reception with a problem they were right there to fix. Very well laid out! Loved the japenese restaurant. Never ran out of towels which was always a problem at other resorts I have stayed at. Over all I would highly recommend this hotel.

Excellence El Carmen: Beautiful resort!

This resort was close to the airport, very clean and modern and the staff were amazing! Food was delicious! The place felt empty even though it was full. I’d go back in a heartbeat ! Loved this resort !

Grounds well maintained. Hotel also well maintained and kept quite clean. Excellent food at all restaurants. Attentive and respectful staff. Good customer service area and client focused. Offshore boat traffic somewhat irritating. Great beach.

Secrets Cap Cana: Awesome resort/vacation/staff!

This was one of the best vacation experiences ever- the staff at Secrets Cap Cana truly make you feel like family and that you are at your home away from home. Staff seem truly happy and always warm and friendly. Lovely coffee and chocolate. Food was overall good with some restaurants being better than others; buffet was good but somewhat limited, could benefit from expanding options. Casa Marina Reef Resort: Get away

Had a great time!! The hotel property was large with a lot of things to do. Food was great and room was nice. Air conditioning did not work well so it was really hot in the room. I would recommend this hotel

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: the best resort ever

The resort was amazing. There was always activities to participate in and the staff were friendly and super nice. The food was amazing and there was always a lot of variety. This is one of my fav resorts to go to!

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Super holiday

My husband and I shared a suite in the Esmeralda section of the resort and we were very happy with everything. The room was beautiful and clean. The sheets were crisp and ironed. There was a selection of pillows which could be scented if you so chose. The bathroom was supplied with toiletries and clean white face cloths and towels daily. The food was abundant and interesting; so many choices. We tried two of the a-la-carte restaurants for dinner and although we would not recommend the Brazilian [... read more] (or dining at 9pm) the Italian was lovely. We appreciated that hand sanitizer was squirted into all hands entering the dining area....a great precaution. All staff at this resort were very friendly and helpful. We asked the guy trimming the hedge if he would take our picture. He carefully lined it up and took a selection. We enjoyed the warm pools and the magnificent beach. We walked for miles. It was a wonderful vacation in every respect.

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Iberostar is the Best!!!

This resort is a bang for your buck. Manuel,my friend at the resort lobby is amazing! The food is by far the best. And ala carts are quite the experience. I thank you Gina from trip central, I will see you soon when I go to Cuba xo

Sunscape Puerto Plata: Great Resort Sunscape Puerto plata

Room was beautiful, resort clean, pool excellent, beach wonderful, could have more activity at pool during the day. Most of the stuff was at the beach. Had a 3 hr.delay at the airport before leaving hydrolic leak. Good job they found it on the ground!!
