Grand Decameron Panama: Well-run resort

We had an excellent week at this resort. It is well run, the staff are really pleasant and professional. The facilities are fine, if a little worn around the edges in areas. Beautifully-maintained grounds and pools. Great room, ocean view - a bit noisy at night if there was a show in the outdoor theatre near lobby 1. The food was fine, not exceptional but pretty good for buffet style. The a la carte restaurants were variable in food quality, but always excellent service and ambiance. All-in-all, [... read more] excellent value. One negative...buyer beware on the tours sold in the lobby; we were badly shortchanged on our Canal excursion. Really be careful in terms of ensuring the specifics are adhered to.

Public area and the pools of the resort are clean and the personal friendly and ready to help. The staff was speaking almost only spanish. Just a few could answer a litlle bet on english The food was not to various but ok.

This is a nice resort with a long beach, close to the Rio Hato airport. The food was not to various but ok. Public area and the pools of the resort are clean and the personal friendly. Unfortunately, just a few of the staff are speaking English.

The public washrooms in the beach bars were pretty dirty. The outside landscape was beautiful. The rooms were always well cleaned and cold. The staff was very friendly. The food was decent, but the snack bars were the only options for food without booked reservations.

Overall a great resort - pretty big, rooms are nice and clean, buffets are great, a beach is good. Car rental facility is fair in price and right in front of the entrance. The staff is professional. The whole check in and out process is very well organized. The la carte restaurant food is lower level than expected. A bit weird policy in regards to drinking water - feels like there is a shortage of it and you have to refill the bottles in the bars or lobbies. Most of the staff doesnt speak E [... read more]nglish, but it's not a big deal. Water motorized rides and tours are quite expensive - just keep in mind. But overall we spent great time there and we liked it a lot.

This resort was amazing. Good food great people nice rooms and hot. Close to a town. Excursions to book. Pools were clean and big. Would recommend this place to everyone. There are shuttles to take you around the resort

Grand Decameron Panama: November Vacation

We thought this hotel was great!! Very large, & a lot of walking, but beautiful & well kept. Food was excellent, never had an issue with quality, & we tried quite a few places within the resort. Staff were great also. Learning a bit of Spanish goes along way in Panama, since there really is no second language, English is not spoken by everyone.

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Quaint resort

Hotel was clean and cozy, the beds were a bit firm but staff was kind and food very good. Adult pool was great but they need to have no smoking everywhere. The disco was lame and would be better served as a movie theatre or lounge as there are many good ones around. Walking to the old town is great close and safe but sidewalks are pretty uneven for the unsteady person.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: good resort

This is a large resort,good opportunity for walking. Rooms are clean and serviced well. Grounds are well manicured. Having dinner and watch sunset is best of all. Transat flight takes 5 hours,one glass of water and a mint is little disappointing. I had a great vacation.

Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Awesome Hotel and Location on the Strip, downtown and nightlife clubs

I would definitely come back to this resort! I went with my friend (we are both young women) and felt so safe. We walked along the strip and to the downtown area. We had a beautiful room with an ocean view balcony. The beach and ocean was amazing to swim in. We saw hundreds of butterflies flying above us on the beach one day which was breathtaking. We had a gorgeous view of the sunset! It's on the strip and walking distance to downtown. Fun clubs were Pier 1 and Margarita Ville. Great food and  [... read more]staff. Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Fantastic resort

It is our 15 times that we go to this resort in the last 5 1/ 2 years and have recommended lots of people to the resort already and they all feel the same way then us, it is a 4 star resort with 5 star service.Every one is pleasant from the gardener, chambermaid, bartenders, waiters and the front desk staff.Going so many time now, most knows us by name and always shows their content that we are back at the resort. The person that is in charge of allocating the rooms gave us his personal e mai [... read more]l and told us when we go the next time to send him a note and he will make sure to reserve the room we want to stay in. The assistant General Manager asked us personally to write him a letter before we left to voice our opinion on some of the changes that was made and some of the changes that should be made. We have nothing but praise about this hotel and in the near future, we will go to their hotel in other countries to try them out. Thanks for letting us giving some feed backs. Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Beautiful resort

I had a great time . everyone was very friendly and nice . I found the bartenters at the lobby taking there time to serve you! They could have more stuff going on during the day . music playing by the pool would have been nice when the entertainment was done during the day.

I liked the resort a lot. The people is very friendly. The food was excellent. The entertainment (show) on Sunday was powerful, vibrant. There was always a small local group playing and singing live music at lunch/dinner time. They offer me a very nice deal to visit another resort with excursion included for free but unfortunately I couldn't take because I already had other plans. But the offer was nice. The resort has 3 small beaches and a large area for snorkeling.

Grand Decameron Montego Beach: A beautiful place to spend a week!

Beautiful facility, clean, sandy beach with unforgettable sunsets. The staff are professional and friendly, the rooms are lovely and all face the ocean. The food is well prepared and fresh. The bartenders can make you just about any drink you can think of, but I enjoyed many from their list. I had a blast, and I have promised the staff that I would return to visit them again. I intend to keep that promise. Thanks for a great vacation guys, see you soon!

Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Nice Resort but...

We stayed at the Royal Decameron Montego Bay between October 13th to the 20th. We enjoyed our time there and here are our views on our stay. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. The grounds are beautiful but needs to be more cleaned around the bushes. As for the ckeansiness of the inside like bars and dining room and bathrooms super clean and maintained. The only problem we had is the food. In all the week we were there the food was not good except maybe breakfast because omelettes are easy [... read more] and they add what you want in it. The other meals are bland with no taste and not enough choices. As for the staff they are the best. We have been to 2 other resorts in Jamaica through years mostly Montego Bay and the staffs at Royal Decameron are tge best we have encountered. The other downer of the Resort is that they have no laundry facilities for guests. When we travel we like to come home with our clothes clean.

better western food options,,,,onlly one food place was open at a time...entertainment was good. was a 40 us trip from location into cabo san lucas. not enough employees available to take baggage to room when bus arrives hotel..bar in lobby does not open till 1pm

Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Just what we need for a relaxing vacation.

Clean, friendly and helpful staff. Not posh but comfortable - just what we needed for a relaxing vacation suitable for returning Jamaicans. Beautiful beach, ample good food. Not a 5-star but would return, especially if we got as good a deal as we got through Air Transit this time..

It was our first trip to Mexico. It was in first week of October. I booked my trip 8 days before leaving. I payed eight hundred n i was not expecting much as it was supposed to include flight ,hotel, food n drinks. In the flight only soft drinks were provided no snacks ( which was ok as the price was so low). Once there were in a shuttle to the resort 20-25 minutes. I really liked the design of the resort..... Hotel was older but very clean and nicely maintained. We tried Italian, Brazilian, Mexican and Thai restaurant s all were 👍. And even if you were not able to book any restaurant the buffet had more than enough choices... The beach was beautiful and the waves were light enough that kids could enjoy,water temperature was just right. Puerto Vallarta has a lot to do but in my opinion I would reaserch the places and go in a taxi n not with Vallarta adventurers.... I went to the city tour, San Sebastian, went downtown in a cab and spent the whole day there. Everyone I spoke to had been there atleast 5 times I saw many families with small kids ( I think kids under 8 stay free at the hotel, which is great value)...... I am planning my next trip already.....The staff is very friendly and hardworking...... And one more thing bring a giant glass or a beer mug..... :)

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Great resort!

My husband and I, along with his mom and bf just came back from the Royal DeCameron a few days ago! We enjoyed our stay and the rooms were always clean and presentable! Thumbs up! The pool and grounds were always maintained and the staff was great, polite and always had a smile. Only complaint would be to have more than one bartender at the pool bars as it gets quite busy, especially when ppl order slushy drinks. Besides that.. Really no complaints.
