Riu Flamingos: Sister Get Away

Although this was my 1st all inclusive, I have had numerous vacations including cruising, etc. Overall, the all inclusive was an ok experience. Unfortunately, the weather was less than desirable, as most days were overcast, 1 day rained which left 1 day of sunshine. I believe weather has an impact on any holiday review. Our assigned room was on the 2nd floor, which overlooked the buffet outdoor seating area. The room was somewhat noisy and extremely damp with a musty smell. Guests will fin [... read more]d that food is mostly limited to buffet's and you order your own cocktails from the bar areas (no wait service). The beach is beautiful and although the water is murky, there are lots of ocean swimmers. The pools on this resort are extremely cold.

Crown Paradise Golden: So friendly!

The key word for this resort is Friendly. There are lots of returning guests who are welcoming and fill you in on the restaurants and where to go in town. The staff always has a smile for you and are willing to help with on-site inquiries; though they don't have much information about what to do or where to eat in town. Building 3, the tower, has no view of the water, but  [... read more]it's nice. Buildings 1 and 2 are the older ones, which show their age, but most rooms have a view of the ocean and pool. We had 1401 which was right on the outer corner so we had a superb view of the ocean, beach and pool. It's an adult only location, with a family site right next door. We could go there to eat and use their amenities, but they could not come to our hotel. Though the beach is nothing like what you find in the Caribbean, it is still a beach, not rocky, and great warm water to enjoy.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: SECOND TIME HERE

Second year here, good value . Spent 2 weeks here . Food gets boring after a week but you can go into Busaria and eat .First room in block 6 really smelt musty so we moved to block 2. This room was a little better but hot water was in low supply. The ala cart restaurants were much better than last year but a real pain to get a reservation .Nice to be able to just walk off the resort and go to Buseria or cab it to Puerto Valarta.Just remember this is probably a 3.5 star resort. Samba Vallarta: Not totally satisfied

The resort was ok but a bit dated. The staff were very good in providing the service you would expect from a all inclusive resort. For the cost we found the liquor was not top shelf as we had encountered at other resorts for the same cost. The rooms has a strong odour and the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. I don't think we would stay here again. Food was ok but repetitive as it is hard to please all palates. If you like a small resort you may like this one.

Sheraton Buganvilias Puerto Vallarta Hotel: Friendly Resort

I found this hotel to be clean and friendly. Because it is a time share as well as a Hotel, you don't sign in for a ALL Inclusive, yes usually water sports and other activities are extra, but here there is beer and alcohol that is extra as well. They tell you that you are Extra Inclusive, then they want to charge you for a Beer... fine print. Rooms were clean, but they were slow doing it. Just a lack of direction. PLEASE do not get me wrong, relaxing, friendly staff. Just need a little more knowledge for there employees. I asked if food was available in the lobby lounge I was told no then food showed up at another table...

Las Palmas by the Sea: Small but Mighty fine resort

Las Palmas will make you feel at home quickly. The staff are incredible and service is amazing, everything is very clean and well cared for. The resort is right on the beach, so of course, the view is delightful. Sunsets will take your breath away!

Grand Marival Emotions Resort and Suites: Enjoyed the stay very much

The Hotel is well managed, the staff are very friendly and all the areas are kept very clean. The food is plentiful offers a wide variety it is quite excellent. We enjoyed the Ocean, the beach and opportunity to walk for ever along the beach. The many Pools at the Hotel are wonderful especially the many options for the children. This is the second time at this Hotel.

Crown Paradise Golden: Great resort

We loved the resort adults only is the way to go ( there should be adults only flights as well) there should be more guacamole and pico de Gallio for a Mexican place great staff clean rooms would definitely recommend this one and we would go back on the other hand sunwing is not a great airline you check in at terminal3 walk to a gate they stuff you on a bus and drive to some remote terminal on the other side of the airport to board the plane then the same thing on the way back don’t know why  [... read more]they started this but it’s a pain in the butt 95 percent of the people have to stand up in the bus

Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta: A relaxing vacation

The view was fantastic and hotel staff were very friendly. A smaller resort but still a variety of food options and great that you can see the ocean from every pool. The room service was almost always expedient except one late night order taking an hour. The room service menu was limited and I was hoping to try the asian restaurant out again but it was closed two of the seven nights we were there. Other than that our food experience was great. The gym is well equipped and also has a great view.  [... read more]We had a balcony ocean view but I would just go for ocean view next time, the rooms are the exact same. Nothing super spectacular about the rooms.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: superb resort

the grounds are perfectly groomed, I never had a bad meal but only ate at 1 a la carte, the pools were wonderful but I found the adult pool a little cool, staff were very friendly and helpful, Oscar went out of his way to make holiday special

Riu Flamingos: Great Resort and Experience

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Rui Jalisco. The facility is excellent with all the amenities and entertainment one could ask for. The food selection was excellent and I particularly enjoyed the themes in terms of food, events and performances. There appears to be a shortage of staff in terms of the hospitality aspect. The service provided by the staff on duty was friendly, efficient and thoughtful. They almost “ran” to keep up, hence my comment. Thank you for an excellent holiday. Riu Flamingos: Awesome resort

We love staying at the RIU JALISCO our 3rd time been there.Beautiful beach and nice walk to Bucerias. The staff are very nice and they're like family to us now special thanks to our waiters CALEB, MARCOS, ALONSO but most of all to IVAN SALAZAR and JOVANY for making my husband's birthday a memorable one. Tropicana Hotel: Favourite hotel in PV

We've stayed at the Trop a number of times, and have had good experiences. The central location near the action of old town can't be beat. Rooms are basic, but clean and most have great ocean views. Staff is generally friendly and helpful. Great pool with views of the water.

Riu Flamingos: Still a great resort

This is my 3rd visit to the Riu Jalisco. The resort has been updated a little in the lobby and on the grounds but the rooms looked the same as before. I still enjoyed the food and found the buffet and especially the Asian restaurant delicious and fresh. The restaurant on the beach has been updated and the buffet is now enclosed in glass and the birds can no longer enter . (something I found VERY unhygienic in past visits). However. the birds do surround the tables and above in the fans etc. and  [... read more]will swoop down and grab food as soon as you get up. I think this is common in all the resorts as I have seen the same thing at the Riu Vallarta etc. The problem is further exasperated as I have seen people feeding them from their plates. All in all a friendly and fun resort located about 25 Kms from downtown Puerto Vallarta.

Riu Flamingos: Good resort

The hotel is clean and accommodations are decent. The food was tasty and well prepared. The beach was amazing and great for long walks. Lots of room at the pools if you’re a pool person. Only suggestion for improvement is the line ups especially at the bars both day and night. Had a great holiday.

Barcelo Puerto Vallarta: Wonderful getaway!

Beautiful setting perfect distance away from busy Puerto Vallarta! Hotel staff amazing and always smiling and trying to do their best to make our stay great! Food really good. Steakhouse and pizza was the best I’ve ever had! Rooms huge and every room had ocean view. Pool and activities fantastic! Beach nice, waves challenging! Whales jumping, shows at night were great! All in all a great place to stay!

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Loved this resort!

Our room was quiet and spotless. Would have been nice to have a bigger balcony but we do prefer top floor so we’re willing to give up having 2 of us sitting out on balcony. The grounds were well kept and the restaurants along with the washrooms were very clean. One day when we were there, a restaurant we were eating in was being inspected. Good to see. Nice t [... read more]o have a choice of pools all with waiter service. Found that there was a distinct smell on bathing suit from main pool so we always rinsed at showers. A big shout out to Victor at main pool, Yesica & Antonio at theatre bar, Antonio at Mexican restaurant and Luciano at El Doraldo. Can’t say enough about Victor(pool bar), Yesica and Antonia(theatre bar). Very special people!

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Would go again in a heartbeat

We love this place. Everything from people,beach, surf, food, service and layout was amazing! There is something for everyone and if you would rather just rest..I cannot imagine a better place for that as well.

Krystal Puerto Vallarta: Great Resort!

The grounds are fabulous, hard-working staff keeps it that way. We found the staff very obliging and friendly. The food was good, lots of variety, loved morning omelettes cooked fresh on the grill. I particularly liked our accommodation in Bldg #9, right on the ocean! Looking out at the beach from the patio, seeing the parachutes landing on the sand, watching all the boats coming and going, the lighted boat shooting fireworks nightly, was a wonderful routine. They did have good entertainment, but they didn’t list them on the activity board.
