Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: wonderful resort

Grounds were exceptionally well kept. buffet had alot of choices,room was kept very clean and fridge was stocked nightl. A la carte restaurants were of the highest quality. This was our third trip at the Ambar and hope to visit again.

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: The Best Entertainment Team

The hotel grounds were beautiful. The food at this resort was delicious. My favorite a la carta restaurant was the Brazilian one. My favourite part was all the fun activities they had during the day. I got to do a lot of things I've always wanted to do like go to a foam party and try a wipe out obstacle course. The only down side to this resort is the beach. Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Busy resort - not relaxing

This is a very large, busy resort. Bavaro is rated as 5 star but the rooms and amenities are not 5 star quality. The a la carte restaurants are quite good and are a welcome reprieve from the noisy main buffets. Un fortunately, we saw a cockroach in one a la carte and another in a lobby bathroom. The morning and lunch staff at the Santa Fe were excellent. Our room maid Maria was super friendly and hardworking. English is not widely spoken or understood on the resort.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: great hotel

The Hotel was always kept in amazing condition and the beach and pool area where always cleaned. The Hotel staff was very attentive and friendly. There where always activity's around the pool and the beach like yoga , exercises and dance lessons and the people seemed to have really enjoyed the lessons.

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Great Resort

Had a great time at majestic elegance. Staff were amazing throughout the resort. Julio our butler was first class the hotel is huge but never had any issues at any of the restaurants. Food was excellent

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Great Resort

Pool was great. Love having the different sections (Adult Only). A la Cartes were not as good as other resorts. The beach had quite a bit of seaweed which wasn't picked up. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good resort for the money!

Grand Sirenis Tropical Suites: Fantastic Family Resort

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Good Bang for the Buck

Close to the beach, dinning room, pools ect. If yois only do not like kids this not the section for you. Lots of kids in the dinning room ect. The room is beautiful. The hotel is very organized. If you want to dine in different buffets the resort is huge so you can go to the different areas. I would return but go to the Amber section as we are a couple without kids so the kids are cute until they put their hands in the food at the buffet. Grand Bahia Principe Punta Cana is a most wonderful combination of sun and serenity, of warmth, wealth, and welcoming attraction, and of a well-oiled operation of a well-managed and maintained resort! In one word: our stay was a superb experience!

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: great resort

All was nice beautiful grounds good service lovely rooms . The only downfall was getting reservations for dinner at nite .we have travelled alot and we like to book for the week upon arrival. Grand Bavaro Princess: Beautiful vacation

The resort was very beautiful, but the ground was the best. Trees, flowers, birds and even skinny cats. Food was ok. Room was very clean and nice. But the best part was the beach, the water was so nice.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Amazing resort!!!

This place is the best is the best of both worlds. You stay at Memories resort but get the use of the Royalton resort also. Food was great, lots of activities for all ages. Staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and decorated nicely. Beach was amazing!!!

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Average

Not a 5 star on amenities, old bed, old and dirty towels, dirty linens, clogged bath tub, no exhaust in the bathroom, dirty and smelly room, not enough lounge chairs, internet is limited and smokers everywhere you go. I saw roaches and mice in the food area. Please change the rating on your site so its not deceiving to customers. Thank you.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Awesome Trip and Resort

The hotel grounds were beautiful, very nice spacious rooms, the staff was quite friendly and helpful. Raymond the bartender at our swim up bar was wonderful, he was always very friendly and had your drink ready as soon as he saw you coming to the bar. The food was pretty good, the beach was beautiful. A great trip.

I am probably the one person that seems to find something wrong with everything...this resort was hard for me to find anything wrong with it. PRO'S: FOOD...the food is very good at this resort. I have a sensitive stomach and I was fine. Did not encounter any problems. They go above and beyond to please you. The buffet itself was very good, a big variety. They had somene making your a salad of your choosing. The chicken ceasar salad was very good. The food was amazing...from the steaks, ribs, prime rib, pasta sauces, freshly made donuts everyday, OMG so much good food! You will not go hungry!! They even had a BBQ on the beach with corn on the cob, baked potatoes, ribs, steak and so on. Another day they had someone making tacos at the beach.There is also another buffet at the beach. The word around the resort was always very good when it came to the food. BEACH AND POOLS..there was always plenty of chairs. You may not get those little huts to sit under but you will find a chair. The beach is clean...there is a little seaweed floating on the water depending on where the wind is coming from but it was not really a problem. The pools are clean and always being cleaned for falling leaves. But this property is very very lush so there is falling leaves in the pool but they kept it very clean. There is a bigger pool by the beach which is more busy,louder and where you will find the entertainment but we stayed at the smaller pool or the beach. ROOMS ...the rooms are very very nice. Very modern and clean. Fridge was daily filled with Sprite, coke and beer. DRINKS...lots of drinks, slushy drinks, beer and lots of ice! STAFF...yes there is a language barrier but the people working mostly at front desk or bar or with the public do speak English!!!. You will find the pool cleaner or gardener not speak English but what do you want...this is their country and not ours It never was a problem for us until I got lost and asked a gardener how to get to my room but I signed 646 and directed me to my room. But everyone was very kind. PROPERTY...is very beautiful with lots of flowers and trees. Very Lush! Is it a big property but there is a cart service that comes by every 10 minutes I think it was. AIR CONDITIONING...seemed not to work very well so we called front desk and they were there within 5 min and this was around midnight...so the service was great. They keep it at 23 C which is a warmer than I keep it at home but we managed....we never complained that we were too hot in our rooms. No one bugged us for time shares. Yes they said hello but that was it...and trust me we have sat with them at other resort for hours because of their sales tactic but not at this resort!! I did meet 2 couples who wanted to change rooms and not because there was a problem with the room but because they wanted to be closer to the beach. Their request was granted right away and they never complained about the resort. CONS: -They can definitely use new pillows. -There was one man who was given a tip by one of the couples we were with. When they gave him the tip he asked for a bigger tip...so they gave him more. Then he came to our table after his shift when we were watching the entertainment. His name was Ricardo. We had a bag of Lindor chocolates on the table and he asked us if he could have 3 for this 3 children that he said were waiting at home. Five minutes later we see him eating the chocolate and throwing the wrapper on the ground. We called him and told him to pick up his wrapper and asked him why he lied to us...of course he had no explanation.( but even this has nothing to do with the resort and only with this individual) I find it very odd when I read some of the reviews because it doesn't sound at all like the resort I was at from April 6-14/2015...and even being Easter week there was not alot of kids not like some of the reviews that I read. If you don't want kids then go to an Adult only resort. We were 6 adults and we had no kids with us. I really cannot say anything wrong...we only heard wonderful things from everyone we met. Actually we met other couples and we all vouched that we would go back to that resort next year....Wonderful place to stay!!!

Iberostar Waves Punta Cana: Mostly Good - Been To Better

* The rooms are a bit old and need upgrading as things are showing wear. Beside lamp keep falling down and showed all the wires. They fixed it but it kept happening. * room fridges don't get cold and the air conditioning barely works. We switched rooms and it was the same. * Maids are excellent at cleaning the rooms * Lots of shade options for those who don't want to sit in the sun * Internet wifi charges are ridiculously expensive * Food is excellent except for the a la carte Seafood restaurant [... read more] - The reservations were all messed up, didn't get what we ordered, ordered surf & tutf and the steak was very over cooked, we got sick after eating there I think it was the sushi * Staff is friendly, VERY clean hotel * Hotel gift shop sells fake Michael Khors bags for the price of real ones :-( * Lounge chairs are very good and comfortable * It was expensive compared to other resorts we've stayed at

Occidental Punta Cana: nice resort less of a partyy

I'd say overall I had a pretty fantastic time the spa was pretty good less activity during the day tho aka little competitions and stuff but the resort was really nice recommend for a quieter vacation

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Great Resort Sub Standard A La Cartes

Can't say enough good about the resort, They went out of their way to make your stay Great. The only complaint and it's one that needs to be addressed is the A la Carte restaurants. What a disappointment, my wife and I really enjoy getting dressed up and going out to dinner. My wife's statement says it all. " Getting dressed up to go to a buffet seems wrong". Excellence Punta Cana: One of my "old" favourites

Enjoyed this hotel almost 10 years ago, went back last year...it's showing its age. Great quality and tremendous service. Very small, quaint resort setting. Our room was 87 steps to the beach (yes I measured) it started us as Excellence fans and we've enjoyed the newer Excellence Playa Mujures because of this resort, our "new" fave. Lastly, it's located away from everything, so great if you're not venturing out, just staying out for relaxing...this is the place for that but it was the last resort on the way from the airport. No big deal to me but be aware of this if you want to be on excursions etc.

Grand Sirenis Tropical Suites: Awful!!

The Sirenis Resort does not qualify for 4 stars (much less 5 stars as stated on there website). On a positive note: Cruz our cleaning lady and the young guy at the trampolines were nice and polite. Dirty room with water dripping from the ceiling, musty smell, dirty walls and bath tub, chipped and broken furniture. Dead birds and a mouse at the pool. Pool Smells bad, has murky floors and green algae. Stale milk served in my cofee at waterpark . Served myself a salad at buffet, in it was a plastic [... read more] spoon. Long line upsand wait at buffet. In general staff is misinformed. Some are nice, others very rude. Hotel is in dire need of improving their cleanliness and requires a lot of maintenance work.
