Dreams Puerto Morelos Resort and Spa: Very nice resort

This resort has excellent food, pools, and entertainment staff. We had some trouble in our room but after a phone call the men came and fixed the problems in a very short time. The entertainment staff were excellent people, by always giving you something to do. Especially when it rained. They had lots of games to keep you active. The room was always clean, as well as the rest of the grounds. One very nice thing we found was that the main pool was heated. The other thing we did not like was that after getting to the resort, they waisted our time trying to explain about their spa tickets and the time share deal they have for Secrets. The next time we go I will just say please just give us the room key and go off to enjoy the day.

Dreams Puerto Morelos Resort and Spa: Secrets Siversands Excellente

Went to Secrets Silversands in Puerto Morleos Mexico and had a great time. Food was great room was spacious and entertainment was most enjoyable. There was always something to do especially when it rained. Resort was kept nice and clean. would go back in a heart beat.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Amazing food and drinks

Hotel is new but have some construction issues. Room are amazing new decor and modern style. Beach have lots of sea weeds. Pools are awesome with nice waitress and bartenders ask for drink and they will make for you whatever you want. But the best was the food everywhere especially at hunter steakhouse. Snacks and drinks are at every corner. Very nice lobby and grounds but it's very separate from life. If you want explore it's almost nothing except mangrovers. Grand Palladium Colonial: Great Vacation Destination

Returned to Grand Palladium after a long absence and found everything as nice as we remembered . Rooms are great , Wifi worked well , nice furnishings with good room service . Good food , great surroundings , nice pools and the ocean .

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: I love this resort

We recently went for the third time at this resort. I found it improved; which is a very pleasant surprise. We had a very good time and enjoy our vacation at Esmeralda. The rooms and hotel are very nice, the bed is very comfortable, personnel very attentive. The food is excellent and can satisfy every taste, also the quality drinks. For the a la carte menus we liked the Mexican and the steak house, but this is our taste. There is a new Asian food nice restaurant near the secondary pool. We liked [... read more] better the buffet for the variety and quality it offers. The beach is narrower by few meters comparing to the previous years, but we are pool people, so was not a concern for us. The grounds are kept very clean and free of mosquitoes. We had few nice excursions to Ek Balam and Coba. Thank to BD Travel efficient help from Carolina. There are shows in the evening at the improved bar Black and White, pool tables, and other games available,. Several other entertainments are also available. In the previous years we came here with friends and we enjoyed together very much, and we will come back again. I recommend it as a very good value resort.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: OMG-spectacular

Resort, Pool, Service, Food were all excellent. The resort is large and takes a bit to get use to. The staff are so friendly always eager to help. I would not go there for the beach, it would probably be a disappointment

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Amazing resort and staff

Traveled as a couple (30m, 30f) for 1 week. First time at an all-inclusive resort together. Beautiful place with so much variety and things to do. Staff very friendly and helpful. The beach was amazing, we spent most of our time by the volleyball court. Pools and grounds were beautiful and well manicured. Bars and bartenders were great. Buffet was great (especially Sian Kaan). My one critique is that is was difficult to get a reso at the ala carte restaurants at a reasonable time (ie before 9pm) [... read more], despite the restaurants having plenty of open spaces once we arrived (they still made us wait until our reservation). Other than that, it is an amazing place. Entertainment staff were awesome, so friendly and easy going. Will definitely be returning!

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Royal Treatment at the Royalton

Loved our experience at the Royalton Cancun. The staff were amazing, always wanting to help. It was my friends birthday and they upgraded our room, sent cake, champagne & balloons. The food was amazing! One thing to note is to bring bug spray - the flies were bad when we were there. Not that big a deal though.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: An AMAZING week at Azul Fives

My first time to this resort and it was amazing!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I asked for a later checkout due to our shuttle coming later in the afternoon and they were very accommodating. The food was amazing- especially the MesoTapas restaurant (very authentic). The resort itself was beautiful! I have been to a 5 star in DR and this was 10 times better. They had a lot of activities to participate in as well as on your own (basketball, tennis, shuffle board, chess/checkers). I would definitely recommend this Resort to my friends and family and can't wait to go back!!

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Great adult resort

Overall top shelf! I do like to always try somewhere different but I would go back to this resort. Food was amazing and top shelf liquor. Always entertainment at night great band, dance floor was always full. The week we were away the water was rough so that was a disappointment but nice beach

Grand Palladium Riviera Resort And Spa: Beautiful, comfortable, clean !!!

Last week, we spent a week at the Grand Palladium Riviera Maya resort and have nothing but praise! The grounds are beautifully maintained, the rooms are very comfortable and cleaned and maintained superbly. The food is very good/excellent in all the buffet restaurants (although a bit more variety would be appreciated) and the a la carte restaurants offer a lovely experience especially if you are looking for a more private meal to celebrate any occasion. They are attentive, friendly and in our case, truly went out of their way to assist us when our airline representative was never around to help us. I would definitely consider a return visit to this particular resort and it will be my first choice for any of their other locations.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Great holiday at a great price!

We spent a week here with our two children 4 & 6 in mid November. We had a really relaxing and fun time. Pros: - The resort was really beautiful and lush. - Lots of activities for the kids. There were two kids shows (superheros, Disney) and they were well done and our kids really enjoyed it. - The room was better than I expected; the balconies are very small. - The water park was really great, but in retrospect our kids would have still had fun at a resort that didn't have it, probably because  [... read more]the pool was so warm and we were able to spend hours and hours in it. - The xcalacoco shows were really neat and it was fun that they took place in different locations each time. A bit scary for the 4 year old though. - The kids LOVED all the animals. - Walking around the resort was always interesting. Cons - only 2: - The beach - sitting on it was beautiful and great, but going into the water was a bit of a challenge. Rocky at the entrance. But our kids are really into going into the ocean and they loved playing on the beach and bringing the water to their castles so it wasn't an issue for us. - The food - the kids were so tired at the end of the day that we stuck mostly to the buffet and it grew pretty tiresome after a few days. The food always seemed the same and it was just OK. The resort is really missing a restaurant/snack bar closer to the beach/pool People complain about the mosquitoes but we only saw about 10 of them the whole week. It wasn't an issue for us. All-in-all a really wonderful holiday and at a very reasonable price! The kids could not have enjoyed themselves more and we had a very enjoyable time too.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Palatial Resort

If your a beach person this is not the place for you. On a calm day the water is a murky grey color at best and on a windy day there is a lot of seaweed on the shore. They do there best to keep it clean. As far as the construction / repairs that have been ongoing this should be finish shortly. The resorts looks amazing. This was my second trip to this resort this year and I've notice many improvements. When booking try to get ocean view so that your room doesn't face the mangroves...the odor of  [... read more]stagnant water and lots of mosquitoes. You tend to stay in your room and don't venture out to the balcony. Recommend 23 percent deet in your repellent. Other than that the rooms are great as well as the service. Plan to gain a few pounds ...food is great. There are a number of pools to chose from so if your not a beach person the could be a place for you.

Ocean Coral by H10: Overall great resort

My wife and I booked this resort for our 3rd year anniversary. We went for 10 days and we're not bored once. The resort was very clean, staff was awesome. George at the blue moon restaurant was amazing! He found out if was our 3 year anniversary and brought us champagne and made us some amazing martini drinks after desert. We met a lot of awesome people from around the US. So if you are into socializing and meeting new people, just hang out st the swim up bar, everyone was really friendly. The pool contests were a blast. I ended up getting the nick name "Canada" because I was the only Canadian in these contest. The loungers inside the pools are awkward and I think they would benefit well to put a curve in the base to keep you from sliding down. I found it impossible to lay in them. I'm not sure why at the buffet they were seating customers. It put a delay in getting in to the restaurant and seemed strange to me. I would personally like to just walk in, eat and leave. The beach in the entire cancun side of Mexico was riddled with seaweed at this time and we found this resort did the best at cleaning it up. I also found the resort catered really well to every age group and interest. Whether you were young or old and wanted to party or relax, they did it all VERY well. The rooms were very spacious and well kept. Although the shower hardware is probably due for an upgrade as it was definitely showing its age. Puerto Morelos is a 1 hour walk down the beach. Which is a nice way to spend a morning or afternoon.

Grand Palladium Colonial: The best!

This is my second time at the Grand Palladium! Love this place! The jungle-the cute little animals everywhere! The staff are amazing and the saltwater pool on the ocean is a piece of heaven. It is large, but that is awesome because you never get Bored, always something new to see and a surprise around every corner.

Riu Palace Riviera Maya: Very Nice

Very stately design & decor. Not so big that you get lost. Everything (beach, pool, lobby, bars) is within a 2 min walk from wherever your room is. The structure is showing its age somewhat here and there (if you look close). The rooms (our) are nice, and spacious (we had a step down sitting area & full balcony). The pool gets cleaned & checked every day, but does show an oily film near the end of the day... the water is approx 80 deg F. The beach is very wide, with soft white sand, and no coral [... read more]. Sea water was a little stirred up while we were there (Nov 2015) but very swimmable, at around 80 deg. ... A small band of seaweed would wash up every day but nothing to worry about. I would for sure return to this resort. The only slight negatives would be; the musty room smell, and a foul smell (grey water) coming from under the food coolers in the buffet... not a deal breaker.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Amazing resort!

The property is gorgeous! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice and clean. The water is somewhat rockie, however, the beach is perfect. Richardo was the one who took care of us when we first arrived and set up all of our dinner reservations. He went out of his way toke sure we were able to go to the restaurants of our choice.

Grand Oasis Riviera: Disappointing

This was my first time at an All-Inclusive and it was disappointing. Half the resort was being renovated and my party was relocated (without us being told) to another part of the resort that was not part of the main grounds. The vacationers staying in this section shared the site with staff that were living there. As well there were security issues resulting in a room change. There was a strong rancid smell which indicated that we were adjacent to the Sewage Reservoirs. Food was fair with very l [... read more]imited healthy and/or vegetarian options. Staff was friendly and respectful but slow to respond to requests. Beach and pool areas were awesome.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: So much more than expected

Check in a breeze, nice large room,really comfortable beds,large clean bathrooms with makeup mirror hair dryer basket full of essentials and full size towels. Nice added touch, white bathrobes slippers,bowl full of fresh fruit yummy. Our fridge was always refilled daily with beer ,pop,water bottles and to our surprise small bags of potato chips and small chocolate bars nice touch. Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen: Amazing Resort

Right in the heart of Playa del Carmen and 5th Avenue! Comfortable, intimate resort with exceptional staff who provide exceptional service. Excellent massage therapist with personal touch. Cleanliness is utmost throughout. Terrific sushi bar with stunning view of surroundings. Front desk staff and concierge staff exceptional attending to every desire or concern. Our 10th time visiting our home away from home!
