The resort is very clean, newly renovated with nice hot tub on your own balcony. Wonderful yoga classes with Masters of yoga. They are very kind and sweet. The staff is very friendly, polite and efficient.

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Review

I very much enjoyed my stay. It was my first time in Mexico and I will definitely be back. I found the staff friendly and helpful. I was impressed that the bathrooms were always clean and fresh smelling.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: AMAZING TRIP!!

The Occidental Grand Flamenco Xcaret Resort was amazing!! The staff, food, drinks and entertainment were on point. The pools and beaches were awesome and very well maintained. Thanks for a very enjoyable vacation!!!

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Favorite Resort

Top notch service, very clean, very satisfied. First trip here in 2012 and never stopped thinking about this resort. We traveled to other resorts in area but found this our favorite. Since they renovated there are more pools and never looking for an open chair as you will have many options. Best beach, food and accommodations. We recommend Jolly Roger Pirate Ship dinner cruise for an excursion and the Ruins that were discovered in 1995 (Ek Balam) Can't wait to return in another year. Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Amazing Resort

Had a Great Vacation at Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach, Loved the grounds, the beach had amazing snorkeling just a few feet away from the shore. We really loved the Coffee shop, Health Bar (Delicious Smoothies) and the Ice Cream Bar. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. Will definitely plan another vacation with The Grand Sirenis.

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Best beach, Yoga and Staff

My husband and I had been to this resort 5 times before the renovation. The last time being 5 yrs. ago. It is now very beautiful- the main lobby is all open with a very understated elegance- simple furnishings with lovely accessories. The restaurants are all tastefully decorated. The rooms are housed in 4 buildings with a pool in front of each. The rooms are extremely large but simple furniture. Beds and pillows so comfortable. No dressers, shelves in cupboard only. We were in bldg. one which we found very quiet and close to the beach. We loved the food at the buffet. Did not eat in restaurants or snack bar. Nice sushi bar overlooking the ocean. Great open main bar where they had their evening entertainment. No theatre shows. The Yoga studio was close to building 4. Loved that the building was all wood, very open, the studio room was facing the ocean. The instructors were amazing. I attended a introductory hatha yoga class which was excellent. They had all the props available for use. I did not like that when we arrived and thought we were going to be brought to our room by the porter it turned out it was staff that was trying to sell us on buying into their Fidelity Club which we were not interested in. We loved all the staff that work so hard with always a smile- the maids, gardeners, bartenders(Wilbur is the best), waiters(Marcelino is the best) and the many more that I don't remember their names. Lastly, the beautiful beach, the wonderful snorkelling, the turtle sanctuary at one end of the beach and the short walk in to the village of Akumal. Worried with the huge Secrets Resort next door and the endless groups of snorkellers swimming with the turtles the area will be ruined in years to come.

Excellence Riviera Cancun: Amazing Resort - Must Go

The hotel was perfect. It was just what we needed to to get away and relax. The lazy river was awesome. The food was delicious and the drinks were right on point. We had a swim-out room and I would definitely recommend upgrading to that room. We didn't upgrade to the Excellence Club level and we didn't feel left out. The nightly entertainment was great. Loved the fire show.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: It was fabulous!

The hotel was amazing! The service and the professionalism of the employees was the best I have ever seen. They don't even expect a tip when they serve you. I would highly recommend this hotel for any one! The only negative opinion people could have is about the beach. People need to understand that it is a conservation area for sea turtles so I did not mind. The location is not near anything so that could be a con for people but it is really close to the airport. Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Awesome Resort

The resort was very well maintained and clean. Food was great and plentiful. Hotel staff very pleasant people and helpful with everything we needed. There were plenty of activities to do there daily and entertainment everyday day and night. Weather was awesome, I will go again for sure. Thank you trip central for suggesting this resort.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Amazing Resort

Only bad thing about this resort wich is not their fault was the beach. Impecable service, beautiful grounds, room were very clean and the food was absolutly the best we ever had at any all inclusive resorts and we've been to manny. The animation was very good.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: OK Resort

The beach is not nice at all, looked like beach here. The rooms are out dated, there was mildew on our bathroom. The food was excellent, staff were really nice. Glad I did not pay full price. There is no swim up bar in pool, but has bars close to pool.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Great Stay!

Had a nice time at the resort. Overall it was very clean and quite beautiful. We stayed at the Maya Colonial which we found out once we got there was the last resort to be renovated (there are 4 sister resorts). Once we walked around the grounds and saw the other resorts we realized that we could've stayed at a much nicer resort. The Maya Colonial is one of the more expensive places to stay but paled in comparison to the other beautiful, newly updated resorts next door. Wish we would have known  [... read more]that. The rooms on the ground floor flooded. Thankfully we were on the second floor but kept hearing stories from other guests we travelled with of flooded rooms. A La Carte restaurants were nice. I would definitely go back, just wouldn't stay at the Colonial.

Grand Riviera Princess: Great staff

Great Facility amazing staff. Food was awful for the most part. 2 out of 5 ala carts were good the other three were horrible. Sold wifi for 68 US dollars a week and it barely worked any where if at all in the resort. When I complained they shrugged there shoulders.

Riu Palace Mexico: Unforgettable, amazing, perfect for couples!

Riu Palace Mexico was an amazing experience. Not only we had convenient access to all amenities in our resort, we had the benefit of accessing ALL other Riu resorts within our proximity (there were at least 3 others from receiving our gold band). At the same time, none of the other resorts were able to access ours, which meant that all the facilities and services were strictly given to the Riu Palace Mexico visitors. No line up, no crowd, there was always space on the beach no matter what time,  [... read more]and the amazing staff are only attentive to YOU. We are now definitely looking into staying at other Riu Palace in other resorts & countries for vacation. Not worthy to stay in other resorts. The location was amazing too. Just walking along the shore, Riu Palace Mexico had the least seaweed (evident enough since the crew cleans it everyday) in comparison to the other Rius. It was also a 20 minute walk from Playa Del Carmen or a 4 minute drive. Across the street, there are nice little boutique stands & shops that provide cheap Mexican authentic artifacts. The food was great! Not once we complained about the food (and we are very picky eater). We love our food fresh and you can tell the ingredients they use are definitely fresh. The spices and such were amazing and right on (didn't need to put salt or anything on them to add flavour). The cleanliness of the resort including the rooms were beyond average. Never complained about a single bug and etc. The crew constantly cleaned the whole resort every second, every minute. The staff's service was amazing. They were sooooo attentive to each person. I've seen people not leave any tip for the crew, yet the crew still treat them like they've just received an amazing tip. Everyone smiles, and everyone remembers you. For their hard work, it's hard not to leave them any tip. We had servers that see us and automatically puts us on a beachfront view at the restaurant, and then brings us our beer and juices that we normally order. They are very, very attentive. The entertainment isnt the best at Riu Palace Mexico since it ends quite early (around 11). But they definitely make it up as they offer transportation and pick-ups after the resort entertainment to go to a club with the crew. Also, just right across the resort are the other resorts known for livelihood and crazier crowds (you cant just go there too and take advantage of their entertainment and drinks). This resort is really meant for some peace, quiet and relaxing nights. They do have entertainment going on ALL day, so it's perfect for the early birds.

The spacious rooms were perfect and always clean. The service was great and we eated very well. Unfortunatelly there was no beach and the water was gray. But there was enought place around the pools since the hotel wasn't full :) Thank's !

Grand Riviera Princess: Grand Riviera Princess 2015

The Hotel was spectacularly Large... Everything was great.. People, Grounds, Amenities, Food. It was a distance to get from Lobby to Platinum, but I was right on the beach, so pick your battle. I appreciated the exercise to walk off all the food & Drinks.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Great trip

This hotel is quite large so it offers a lot of extras but is not easy for everyone to navigate. People with mobility issues and small children can take advantage of the shuttle but it stills requires a fair amount of walking. The grounds were kept quite nicely and pools were clean. The jungle paths full of animals were great. The beach area is small but being in a protected cove, offers easy entry and exit and no big waves knocking people over. We did not hear of anyone having issues with the food. The a la cartes were just okay. Nothing great but not bad either. The entrance to Xcaret was a huge selling feature for us. The unlimited access option that we took was definitely worth it. What a great park. So many things to see and do.

This was my first visit to a resort and all inclusive package, we will be heading back to this resort in the New Year .Very well kept, lovely grounds .The staff are very friendly and always smiling, language a very small issue, they try very hard.

Dreams Puerto Morelos Resort and Spa: Exceeded Expectations

Great staff, very friendly, capable and professional. Meals were exceptional; especially in Mexican, French, Asian and Italian restaurants. Bartenders were very capable and mixed some interesting drinks. Beach staff wonderful. Entertainment was top rate. Seaweed a bit of an issue as it is in the rest of the Caribbean but staff were working hard to make the beach pleasant. In any case the many pools were pristine.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Exceeded my expectations

Amazing week with my 4 year old and my 66 year old mother. Service was great, entertainment was appreciated by all age groups. Food was good. Lots to do and see on the resort if you feell like it. The AquaPark was perfect for my son to enjoy. Only downfall was the size of balconies in the family section. Other than that... It was an awesome vacation!
