The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Beautiful Resort!

The resort was beautiful, food was excellent and the service was great! It's a smaller resort and never felt crowded. The beachside pool, bar restaurant and the beach area itself were the highlight of our days. Favourite meals were the steak at the French restaurant, red curry chicken at the Thai, and everything in the sushi restaurant! Our room was a little musty but we didn't spend much time there. Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Excellent hotel and resort

Excellent hotel and resort (Sian Ka’an and the Luxury Bahia Principe complex), extremely clean and well maintained, very professional and friendly staff (from Rodrigo at the front desk, to Manuel, Yasusri and Antonio in the buffet to Teresita, Silvia and Maria Jose in the lobby bar, just to name a few). We had some issues with the shower in our room, once we reported, was fixed within 15 minutes. The trolley service is excellent as well, they will radio in when lots of people were waiting and  [... read more]adding more cars and even changing their routes to accommodate their patrons. The eco concept that Bahia Principe uses works very well, you are in the jungle, surrounded by wildlife and you actually swim with fishes at their private beach. We have a couple of comments and suggestions around the beach and beach amenities: firstly, about the individuals that left towels or personal objects just to reserve spots and showing up at 11:00 or later – some of them even not having the rights to be on the private beach; secondly, there is no place for one to change their bathing suits, if there is a need besides the beach washrooms, which are really narrow. And talking about the beach washroom that was part of the Akumal hotel, one of the doors locking latch was broken, and it was not fixed during our week stay, even if my wife reported this twice to the Akumal front desk. Over all, we enjoyed our stay very much, we will certainly be back.

Grand Riviera Princess: Beautiful paradise

It's a Grand resort with it marble and white structures. The grounds are beautiful with trees and flowers. Lots of pools and places to cover yourself from the sun. Food is great and lots of variety. Staff is pleasant and dedicated to their work.

Bel Air Collection Xpu-Ha Riviera Maya: Cottage in the Jungle on a Cenote

Despite initially wanting to take an excursion outside the resort, it turned out there was simply no need to leave the grounds. During our week-long visit, the Bel Air Resort and Animal Sanctuary offered a number of fantastic activities, including snorkelling, kayaking, paddle boarding, a petting zoo, biking, the beach, swimming pools, and learning about different animals (e.g., capybaras, agoutis, jaguars, tigers, monkeys, chimpanzees, coyotes...) Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Amazing Place

Only thing i did not like is there Diamond Club allows children. If you book the hideaway section you are not allowed to go into diamond. To many drunk adults with kids around do not agree with this happening.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Awesome Family Vacation

This was our 4th time at a Geand Bahia Príncipe and definitely not our last! The hotel was beautiful and very clean. Our room was very clean and we LOVED Cecelio!!! He was so thorough with making sure our room was in excellent condition. He was so sweet and very friendly! Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: One of the most Amazing Resorts

The hotel was beautiful and the service was impeccable. Everything was so clean with many workers on site working hard. The hotel was clean and well kept. The gym had more then enough equipment needed to accommodate the guests for all types of workouts. One of the nicest I have seen on vacations not to mention the most beautiful roof top tennis court. Well done. The only let down was the construction in the middle of the resort.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Wonderful trip

Fantastic hotel, nice beach, good food, a real 5 stars ! We were 6 adults, everyone enjoy his vacation. We book for the trip at Tulum, short drive from the hotel and staff very friendly. We also dive in the Cenotes. A "must see" !

Dreams Sapphire Resort and Spa: Preferred guest is worth booking!

The resort was exceptional! My friend got married and they were extremely accommodating when the groom got sick on his wedding day. I would recommend this resort anytime! The photographer was my favorite, she rocked! I had a few minor disappointments.... I really wish they had made the effort to clear all the sea weed washed up to shore behind the wedding ceremony setup..... It was not the nicest thing to see behind us in wedding pictures, and it kept getting caught in the bride's lace dress (wh [... read more]ich would pull on the lace when we removed it, damaging the dress). We also got suckered into one of their sales pitches to become VIP members.... they told us it would be 90 minutes, and we were there for over 3 1/2 hours..... half a day of our 4 night trip WASTED.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Overall really good

Resort was nice and new, some issues with rain leaks but seems typical for the tropics. Main pool was under repair so the other pools were very busy opened on our last day, not a pool girl so really didn't care! The sandy beach was nice, lots of seaweed early in the week a bit of a stench and the water was merkie and brownish! Staff were busy trying to clean up as much as possible. Spa was amazing, recommend the massage and the bonus hydro therapy before. Food was very good in some restraints and okay in others- this is a hard one to comment on as everybody has different tastes. Have to say Hunters and Zen were my favourites. Overall good vacation, went for R and R and that's what I got! Pretty close to the airport 20 minutes so fast commute to the resort, only resort in the area so quite!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: very nice resort

Food was good. Grounds well looked after. Pool needs a little tlc. Staff as usual excellent. Would go again as we frequent Bahia resorts, Mosquitoes were not too bad. Lots of a la cartes to choose from. Le Gourmet with Carlos the best.

I'd say that it is the best resort I have been to so far. The service is excellent, you never feel like you should be tipping (though we nearly always did) to get good service - they are all smiles and aim to please. The hotel is beautiful and well laid out with lush tropical grounds. Pool are clean and its nice to have the option between the quieter pools as well as the more lively infinity pool by the beach. The beach is nice, it is not huge but not one have I had any issue with finding a chai [... read more]r (and almost always had a bali bed as well!). The drinks were great and I loved that they were served in nice glasses (glass for inside and plastic for outside but nice solid plastic glasses - wine, martini, etc. instead of tiny flimsy dixie type cups resorts normally give). The food was wonderful! The sushi was honestly sooo delicious, we went twice! We even ordered room service a couple of times (club snadwiches and pizza) and it was great! Our room was just amazing! We had paid for a one bedroom suite (strongly recommend it if you can pay the small difference, it's worth it) and actually got upgraded to a sky suite...King bed, dining room, kitchen, a rooftop with jacuzzi, bali bed, dining room table, a full bathroom and two half baths...i mean, what more could you ask for? Only disappointment was that snorkelling equipment was not available, nor were any pedal boats. Also, they were always running out of straws lol. But yes, all in all, we loved this place!!!

Catalonia Yucatan: Nice but not amazing

Well maintained, decent food, rustic beach, swim shoes for sure...difficult to access bar from beach and no servers there. There is lots more room for beach chairs than there actually was. Decent but not our favourite by far

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Meh

Decent resort because it's new. Looks nice now but workmanship is extremely poor, this resort will deteriorate very quickly. Food is good in some restaurants and not so good in others. Some staff is amazing while others have horrible customer service skill. The value depends on the price which seems to fluctuate greatly. My decision to return would be largely based on the cost.

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: Amazing resort and service!

Beautiful, clean, well maintained grounds and facilities. Our room was large and lovely, we upgraded to the ocean view room and it was fabulous. Food was good with lots of variety (even for myself with food allergies - they made sure I was taken care of!), and the a la carte restaurants were fabulous. Staff were friendly and responsive. We will definitely be returning!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Rather stay at Tulum!

Great Staff, Service was good! Too far from the beach and get ready to walk! Food was good... And definitely go to the Don Pablo al a carte it was amazing. The ride back and forth from the airport seemed very long, and they said our room was ready and it wasn't (shower not cleaned,fridge not stocked etc etc).We went to relax and it was nice to get away from reality for a week!! Enjoy !!

Catalonia Playa Maroma: amazing resort setup

Love the resort setup, lounge and buffet at one end, nice illuminated walkway to the beach, smaller walkways to hidden rooms in between covered with trees,like a little jungle with small animals and all kinds of birds. Staff are friendly but did not appreciate the clerk at the desk handing our information envelope to a timeshare person telling us he would take care of us, upon our arrival!!!! This resort is 40 from the airport, 3 minutes from cirque du soleil and about 45 minutes from rio secreto which is a must see.

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Awesome resort

The hotel was fabulous. Staff so friendly and always there to help. Food was awesome at all the restaurants and lots to do! The rooms are stunning. We had such a great vacation there. This was our second time to Mexico and I will return to this resort for sure.

Grand Riviera Princess: Very big resort....amazing!

I went on November 1st with my children, they are young adults, it was our first time in Mexico.....beautiful resort! the staff was very helpful and polite! For me at my age, it was too big but my daughters enjoyed it very much! My daughters said they would go back but for myself I would choose a smaller resort.....:)

Catalonia Yucatan: OK resort

The beach was horrible. 2 feet of white sand and then nothing but rocks in the water. Literally, there's no sand - it's all rocks. It was VERY difficult to get in and out of the water safely. The resort was too big for my liking. Lots of pools which was good because there were a lot of obnoxious drunks that we preferred to avoid. Food was ok. Elevator at one end of the resort and we were on the 4th floor. Not that big of a deal but tiring by the end of the week.
