Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Amazing vacation!

The hotel was beautiful. Everything was very well kept. The food was delicious, pool was always clean, beach area was gorgeous! The animation team was so much fun and made the stay an incredible experience! I can't wait to go back to this resort next year!

Whala Bavaro: Not unbearable but not great

Not much to do, not much choice for food but beaches and ocean r amazing and once we upgraded to a suite room was much better than the first room which was right by the road and noisy. Always found something to eat but not much at all for snacks. Hotel is getting pretty run down, staff r friendly but don't do anything to make u feel special. Get what u pay for but at the same time have stayed at way nicer places for same or less. Still had a great time and made a ton of friends!

IFA Bavaro Village: Very nice resort!

The entire staff was absolutely awesome, friendly, professional, happy, the best ever! The food was very tasty, the drinks were very generous. The rooms were huge, comfortable and stylish. The resort was very nicely laid out. Although the beach was breathtaking with the many palm trees adorning it, the beautiful white sands were often marred by the seaweed that continuously washed up. We noticed that other close-by resorts had tractors to keep this at bay, but IFA just had a small group of men w [... read more]ith rakes and wheel barrows...very hard to keep on top of it. The nightly shows left a lot to be desired. Same old let's-embarrass-the-audience games, every night. It would have been nice if they had brought in some real entertainment. All in all, wonderful vacation!

Vista Sol Punta Cana: Great little resort

I have stayed at 4 different resorts in Punta Cana in the past 7 years; all of which were rated 4 stars. I really liked this one. It is clean, pretty and most staff are friendly (bartenders could cheer up a bit). It was sometimes difficult to get a drink served at the buffet but there are alot of self serve machines around too. Loved the location, it was close to everything including the airport which I liked way better than being too far off the beaten track. Catalonia Royal Bavaro: Excellent food!

We enjoyed our stay at the Catalonia Royal Bavaro. The restaurants, food and grounds were immaculately kept. However, our room was quite dated, the furnishings somewhat shabby and the maid service a little inconsistent. I would not categorize the Royal Bavaro as a 5 star hotel in comparison to others we have visited.

Vista Sol Punta Cana: Hidden Gem

I had tried not to go with high expectations however this resort completely exceeded all of my expectations. The food was really good on the buffet and had great variety. Our room was one of the renovated ones so we were quite pleased. The beach was great, the water is a little rough but still enjoyable. All in all fantastic time!!

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: a wonderful escape!

outstanding shopping and service! The food was delicious- with lots of yummy choices. The only drawback is that the resort is so large that anyone with mobility devices or have issues walking too far, will regret staying there. A 20 minute walk to the ocean is too far. Also, the pool is not very close to the main building either. If only there was a pool closer to the front of the resort!

Catalonia Bavaro Resort: Beautiful grounds

Grounds were gorgeous, food was good, needed more chairs on the beach, excellent shaded areas. A la carte restaurants were delicious, rooms were clean, spacious, staff was very friendly. Entertainment was not up to par compared to the rest of the resort.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Great Beach, terrible Customer Service!

I was part of a large group and the issues we had are too numerous to list here. There was no customer service from the resort management, the wedding co-ordinator, or the Air Transat rep. Pros were the beach and the grounds, rooms were ok and food was decent. The management at this resort do not care about your experience once they have your money. We heard way too many times that this was not their problem or come back in a couple hours and we will fix it. After three straight days of hearing  [... read more]this we gave up.

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Awesome time

The Grounds were very nice and the the staff was awesome in terms of service during dinner or for drinks, awesome ambience and something for everyone to do. The beach was awesome. The entertainment was also spectacular!

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: Enjoyable Resort

Stayed at the Sirenas Cocotal Mar.20-27 2015.This resort is very clean everywhere,rooms,lobby, washrooms,restaurants etc.and the staff were always friendly and provided service with a smile.We found the food to be better than usual,with a good variety to choose from.We went to the steak house and the asian a la cartes and they were both good.Never had any problem getting lounge chairs at the pool or beach no matter what time of day.Our price was $900.00/person all in.Would not hesitate to return [... read more] to this resort.Travelled with my two sons aged 29 & 25 and I am 60.Thanks again to all the staff who made this holiday enjoyable and relaxing...

Blau Natura Park Resort: Awesome Vacation!

Blau Natura Eco Resort was fantastic, clean and fun. The staff was hilarious and tried to keep those interested involved. The resort is older but I do not go on vacation to stay in my room is I'm ok with things not being updated! Good value for the price and simple fun get away! Definitely would go back again! :)

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Amazing Facilities

Largest complex that I have chosen to stay in and was impressed with the convenience of all the activities...BEST BEACH EVER!!!!!!!!!Food was amazing... On site employees did a great job of entertaining and enjoying the guests.

Grand Palladium Palace: Beautiful resort....but!

We had a 14 day stay at the Palace in march 2015. Beautiful beach and grounds. Food is good with lots of a la carte restaurants. This resort is very busy! We we're given a room in the 92 block. It was under construction! So...2 weeks of hammering, cutting, drilling in our building, from 7 am to 7 pm. Sometimes no water, no electricity. Our card reader for the door stopped working upon arrival, took a while to get fixed. Same with electricty slot inside room...card did not work...so no electricit [... read more]y! We spent a lot of time at front desk begging for another room. Overbooked!! Would I go back? Maybe not. When they say first impression is a lasting impression...the bad made our stay very unpleasant from day 1.

Occidental Punta Cana: Fantastic vacation!

If you want a clean, well laid out resort, this one fits the bill. Set in the central area of Bavaro beach, you can walk the beach in either direction until you tire out. Beautiful beach area, meandering pools. It offers quiet areas to relax, or fun areas to participate and interact with other vacationers. The staff was fantastic, always stopped what they were doing to assist you. Decent entertainment, decent a la cartes, and many choices for food (away from the a la cartes) and drinks. Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Not much better

This was our second trip to the majestic,and it was better than the first visit.we were 4 fifty something's who found almost everything to their liking.amazing is the word for the upkeep of the buildings but the grounds keeping is unbelievable. Beautifull setting with all the lush growth that has been painstakingly cultivated and manicured.. The only issue,and it really didn't hurt our vacation was the two meals eaten at the seafood and the rodeo(steakhouse). Some work is needed in the kitchens. [... read more] Slower service than what we received anywhere else on the resort, and still wrong meals showed up. Nothing major, but a little work and these two resturants will be up to the calibre of the rest of the resort. A special mention to marilyn and venis in the lobby bar who made us welcome every evening before supper and afterwards. This will be our go to resort in punta Cana . Punta Cana Princess: Very friendly and good service

we enjoyed our stay, food was excellent the staff was very friendly and courteous. Rooms are very nice and well kept. Souper a la carte was excellent. I really enjoyed the BBQ on the beach and the activities at the lobby at knight.

Blau Natura Park Resort: Amazing value

This resort was great! The food was excellent, staff was awesome and the grounds were beautiful, also the bed are very comfy! There were a few small maintenance issues, ie balcony light was broken air conditioning was mediocre. But all in all it was a great value for the price! We all had an awesome family vacation!

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Excellent resort

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Very well maintained. Food is great, a wide variety of food. Rooms are beautiful and spacious. Staff is very helpful and courteous. There is always someone around to help.

Occidental Punta Cana: Great vacation!

The resort was overall great! Good was amazing especially the steak restaurant. The escursions were really fun! The bathroom was not good at all and there was water all over the room from the tub leaking. The staff was extremely friendly too. Would recommend.
