Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Awesome resort for families!

We just stayed there with our two children(3&6yrs old). We arrived at 10 am we were in our room by lunch time instead of after 3pm which was great! Our room: We were in building 8 and our balcony was looking over the pool! which was convient when our smallest napped and I could still watch my husband and older daughter playing in the pool. Our safe was free which was great! We also had free wifi in our room! We had two double beds which were comfortable and 4 pillows on each bed. There was a cl [... read more]oset to hang your cloths, the sliding door was a bit Sticky but not a problem. The maids were great since we were in and out often but they manage to get the room cleaned everyday! The grounds: we're beautiful lots of tree, shrubs, flowers! there was always someone pruning the trees, shrubs cleaning the walkways etc.... The staff: we're always smiling, saying hola to the children and calling them beautiful princesses! Front reception was great and quickly resolved Our card that stopped working! We also messed up the safe number and in twenty minutes someone was in our room and fixed it with no charge! The food was great, I didn't try everything but there was definitely favorites that I ate everyday ( omlet, pasta station,the meats station, Nacho, sauce,guacamole and salsa) and so much more, they had different themes every night in the buffet. The a la carte didn't do reservations which was a long wait time unless you were there at 6 pm! They did have entertainment ,cotton candy, nachos for everyone while they waited! The beach was on the royalton property which you needed to get a trolley ride which went by often! It was also only a 4 min walk from our building! The kids loved getting on for the ride! The beach was beautiful! The only thing I found they had staff trying to get you to join this travel program so they would offer you a free day pass to the royalton or a la carte it depends but you had to spend 2 hrs listening to there offer! I wouldn't do it, we got a day pass but could only use the pool not the bars( wouldn't serve my husband) he had to go to the memories bar on the beach! They also said we had a two free massages, which I booked the appointment but didn't have the papers and they almost charged it to our room! So we had to find the guy who gave it to us, and then get the certificate! Lots of wasted time, when we we had fun the last three days at the beach(memories side)! There was lots of bottled water!

Ocean Blue and Sand: Everything we were expecting and more

The resort lived up to our high expectations with excellent food, entertainment staff, service staff, and amazing beach and pools. The pools were never over crowded, the beach and access to miles of ocean front were amazing.

Grand Palladium Palace: Great resort !

Very clean, staff were very pleasant and friendly . Always someone available for help or to provide a ride anywhere. Great room service and maid service. The food was awesome , there was wi-fi available on the resort free of charge .

Grand Palladium Palace: very clean

Just returning from from the Grand Palladium.This resort is large,but well kept.the staff is very friendly,and helpful.my complaint about here is the restauants set up.I did not find this good at all.They say first come,but when arrive,did you reserve????If this is first come ,why did we need to reserve?Needs something done about that.Our room was good,cleaned everyday,downfall in the room,not a big one but a helpful one,TV channel guide would be nice.

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Lovely and Relaxing

BeLive Punta Cana is a nice resort with plenty of activities if you are so inclined. I was not but really enjoyed the beach and the shade of palms and umbrellas. The food was quite good compared to other resorts I have stayed at. The basic room was very tired and a bit run down but VERY clean every day. My group did the zip line tour which was excellent. The free ride to Nicoles for shopping was a waste of time - don't bother. There is cheap souvenir shopping just outside the resort that in a gr [... read more]oup we felt safe doing. The upgraded rooms were definitely nicer than the basic rooms but not sure I would pay extra. All in all quite enjoyable for a cheap vacation.

Grand Sirenis Tropical Suites: Awesome vacation spot.

Great resort with very friendly staff .Took grandkids and had a blast.The waterpark was special place for the kids while we sat back and enjoyed all .They were on slides and we were in the shade.The beach and the gigntic pool was spectacular. Will do again.

Grand Sirenis Tropical Suites: Simply Amazing!

Everything about this vacation was perfect. The flight and their service (both ways, catered to my kids!) The resort was beautiful, the pool was huge and clean, the water park was soooo much fun and had no wait time at all, the food was diverse and delicious, room was huge and clean, and the service was superb! Would definitely recommend and go again :)

Riu Palace Punta Cana: From 4 1/2* to 3 1/2* resort

The Riu Palace is a very nice resort with a fantastic spanish architecture and decor. Our room was facing the pool side. It was very nice with just a tad of smell in our room which was very clean on a daily basis. Plenty of bottle of water, pops and beer in our fridge. The buffet food was very very repetitive. The pools are small (Easter crowd) and have started to show their wear and tear; as the resort. Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: AMAZING!!!

This was our first family vacation and we had an amazing time!! The hotel staff were excellent, the entertainment was incredible. There was always activities going on and fun to be had. Our 14 year old and 11 year old loved it so much, they want to go back next year. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great vacation!!

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Good food, beach and rooms

A very big resort with 5 resorts in one so you don't get bored easily. The buffet food is good (much better than I experienced in Cuba and Mexico). The a la cartes are hit and miss (favourites were the seafood (El Pescador) and Italian. The beach is nice but a little wavy on some days, great colour. This season there was a lot of seaweed (not gooey but like sticks) in the water and on the waterline. The staff picked it up every morning and you would have some accumulate into the late afternoon. [... read more] If you like to sit in the shade on the beach you must claim your chairs before 8 am! The entertainment was lacking. We only went to one evening theatre performance - Circus theme on Thursday night - because we had heard it was the best - and it was very good. Bring plenty of mosquito spray because you will need it in the evenings. Having said all that I would still give the resort 5 stars as it was a great week and the above mentioned things were minor nuisances but not enough to over shadow a great week!

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Fantastic Vacation

Quick trip from the airport, upon arriving and through the week the grounds were spotless and very well maintained. Three great pools to choose from, beautiful white sand beach...a little busy because there are multiple resorts in the area. The food range was diverse and of a very good quality. The staff were very friendly and more than happy to help with any requests. The room was current and well cleaned everyday, no problem sleeping late.

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Superb

This was our second time at the resort. Our first time was not a good experience. However, we did not give up on the resort and went back this year and all was excellent. We will be returning to the resort next year.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Great resort

The junior suite was exactly as seen on their web site; very clean and perfect. There was a private Jacuzzi on the balcony for romantic evening sipping champagne in good company. All the a la carte restaurant were very good, especially the french restaurant La Comedie. there is a surcharge of $20.00 per person but it is really worth it for the excellent cuisine, ambiance and polished service. Blau Natura Park Resort: A Beautiful spot!

Overall I loved this place, the food was excellent, and abundant. Rooms were clean, comfortable and for the most part, well maintained. We were a group of 28 and some had some minor issues with their rooms (air conditioning not great, fridge didn't work etc..) but nothing trip killing. One complaint I had was that when we checked in, late at night, there was not sufficient staff to show us the way to our rooms, and in the dark, it was a bit difficult to find our way around.

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: Enjoyable Stay

Grounds were nice, food was good - buffet got a bit boring but the Restaurants ( we went to Mexican, Steakhouse, American and Italian) were all very good! Frandi - our waiter from Route 66 (american restaurant) left a lasting impression - as did all the staff from that restaurant.

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: modern and sleek resort

Small resort with about 300 rooms. Great food and service. Food was fresh even at the buffet, many options cooked in front of you!!! Great music, breezy weather and hot hot. Pool staff, pool wait staff and all bar staff were amazing.

Grand Sirenis Tropical Suites: Good week away!

In a nutshell, good value for the money. Downs: - Check in/service: SLOW. Couldn't find our reservation when we got there. Room wasn't ready for 4 hours. Didn't have an extra bed or extra sheets even though we had requested for our son. First day was a lot of back and forth from our room near the beach to the lobby (long walk) to get what we needed. We eventually got sheets and a new comforter and set our son up on the couch. Not a pull-out as advertised. - Rooms: not so much that they were bad  [... read more]but definitely outdated. We had the Mirage Junior suite and I would have liked to see a bit of updating. Even just a paint job and comfortable chairs on our balcony would have made it nicer. Ups: - Beach/pool/grounds: All beautiful, well maintained, clean. We really, really enjoyed being outside. We had amazing weather so that was welcome! - Food: Good variety, fresh (because there was a lot of people so the cooks were always changing up the trays of food), and no one got sick, the most important of all. We did the Italian and Japanese a la carte. I'd recommend the Japanese but could have skipped the Italian - it really wasn't very good. The drinks were also very good, aside from the wine which was hit or miss. - Shuttle/airport: We flew in and out from La Romana, which I would definitely recommend. It was quiet airport, and we ended up arriving a few minutes before the people who flew directly to Punta Cana, and had to pay extra for that flight. We were on the bus a bit longer, but because the process at the airport was so smooth, we got there quicker.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!

This is one of the most beautiful resorts we had ever been to. Every small detail was given the utmost attention. The staff, always with a smile, looked after us from the minute we arrived till we left. We will definitely be returning.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Amazing

The hotel that we stayed in was very good and the room was amazing it was very clean and tidy, in the buffet, they had a variety of food and fruits. There was a lot of different dessert to choose from. The water park was also amazing.

Riu Bambu: Rui Bambu

Had a great time. Good food and service as well as a great beach. Friendly staff and always helpful. Beach was well maintained. Al cart restaurants were good as well as the main dining room. Would go back
