Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Great Vacation!

Hotel was great. Could use a little updating, but was clean and grounds well kept. Staff was amazing. Everyone was helpful, and went out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. No bottled water other than in room as part of recycling initiative and found the filteref water salty. Steak and Seafood Restaurant were amazing!

Barcelo Huatulco: Fantastic Resort

We would highly recommend staying at the Barcelo Hualtuco. The staff were friendly and efficiant, the room was clean and comfortable and we had a beautieful pool and ocean view. The food was great and the ala carts were also very good. The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. The beach was clean and amazing. We will definitely be back!

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Pleasant,relaxing resort

The rooms and facilities are great. Drinks and food were very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Alacarte restaurants not exceptional. Coffee was often cool and not great. Wine was good. The beach was not swimmable most of the time we were there. Though you can take a dip when tide is low. Plenty of beach chairs to relax in and watch the waves. Beach was Not the best for kids. The biggest drawback to this hotel was the distance to town or outside activities. For the city tour we were a [... read more]way for 10+ hours with 7 pickups and drop offs on the way!

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Excellent value resort

Hotel is a low rise complex with a variety of pools to suit all tastes. Excellent for families and children. Rooms were clean and spacious and the staff were happy and smiled all the time. The grounds were dotted with many gardens tastefully planted with desert plants and flowers. The beach is stunning but the currents make unsuitable for swimming.

Dreams Huatulco: Great Holiday

Great resort. Safe clean with good food. Everything is fairly close so there is not a lot of walking like in new resorts. Beach is great for everyone. Staff great. Safe to go into local town by cab as well. Would definitely go back. If you are young and looking for night life this place is not for you.

Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres: Amazing Resort!!!

Loved everything about this resort. Food, drinks, service, rooms, pools, beach everything was top of the line. Better technology then any other resort! Best vacation 10/10 I would go back in a heart beat!

Allegro Cozumel: Good value

We like the Allegro for the low-rise buildings, cleanliness, reliable food and its lush and well-maintained grounds. The Caribbean is warm for snorkelling and the middle pool on the grounds works great for lap swimming. A highlight was the yoga with lovely Miel three mornings a week.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Amazing Resort

We stayed at the Occidental at Xcaret - this resort was amazing. It was beautiful. Mature trees, monkeys, deer, lizards running around. Our family just loved this location. The food was outstanding. Highly recommend this location - we will be back for sure!

Paradisus Playa del Carmen: Fantastic family holiday

Traveled in mid-January 2019, and was pleasantly surprised - rarely does a resort look nicer in person than in photos! Staff was beyond lovely, accommodating and friendly. Will absolutely return! Amazing little inlet down the beach, shallow calm waters for the kiddies to play in.

Occidental Cozumel: Beautiful and intimate resort on the white sandy beach.

Even in high season, this small resort offers solitude amongst the lush greenery. The Occidental Grand is located on a beautiful beach, great for wading, swimming, and snorkeling. There's a pool right on the beach if you'd rather not swim with the curious and friendly fish in the water. The food is great, and always available. Drink service right on the beach while you relax on one of the loungers at your convenience. Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Pretty Nice Resort

Resort was clean, people were friendly. Cleaning staff were amazing with the full on clean they did of our room every day. Mini Fridge was stocked daily with plenty of water and other options for drinks Didn't like being bombarded with Time Share people the minute we hit the ground at the airport and again at the hotel. Food was good, beach smelled bad but the water was warm. Hotel should wash/disinfect bar glasses instead of dipping them in dirty water. Bartenders should stop pouring alcoh [... read more]ol down tourists throats. Seen a lot of people get hurt, falling down drunk and passing out where they shouldn't be passing out. Be careful of golf carts as they go too quickly down paths. Party pool was fun, but preferred the quiet pool.

Canto Del Sol: Excellent Resort

This is a smaller resort, the staff make you feel at home! The place is sparkling clean! They are working non stop to keep it that way. Everyone was friendly. The restaurants were okay, if you don't like them you can walk almost anywhere to find what you want. Snack bar was awesome! Pizza, shrimp lots of choices! Jorge and everyone take care of you! Excellent location. Only a bus ride down town or a 25 min walk. Lots going on around the resort. Excellent place, would return.

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: We love this resort!!

This was our 3rd time to the Grand Sirenis and it hasn't disappointed yet. The newly renovated rooms give the resort a fresh look. The beds are super comfortable. The food is fantastic. If you are a BBQ lover, I would suggest hitting the beach BBQ for lunch. The entertainment staff is some of the best I have seen at any resort. The shows are fantastic. I also enjoy the weekly market. There is always something going on. There is a quiet pool, I am not sure what goes on there. I walked by it  [... read more]a couple of times, it is pretty quiet. A daily visit to the lazy river is a must. If you are a bigger person such as myself, I would suggest taking your own floaty. Royal Solaris: Nice resort

Very nice resort, busy, lots of kids. Good food. Lunch was the best, with the options of pizza, sushi, cevichi or buffet. Service in all areas is awesome! from bars to a la cartes to buffet. We had a few a la cartes, all were good. Brazilian was amazing. We took the city bus to down town Los Cabos - 2$ USD per person. There is even someone there to help you get on the bus. A visit to Los Cabos is a must! the marina is bustling....reminded us of Playa del Carmen 5th avenue

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Pleasant grounds and accommodation

The hotel location is pleasant. We enjoyed our ocean view, our room, the gardens and the layout of the resort. The snack bar during the day was good. Some of the servers there were very nice. San Jose del Cabo is a lovely town. We enjoyed being able to walk there. Suggestions: Improve the food. We both became ill eating the buffet food. The evening a la carte menu needs more variety and better choices. The Frutas y flores restaurant is very noisy inside. Have a staff member to a [... read more]ssist with seating in the buffets. The one time there was a staff person helping us to find a table, this made it more pleasant than trying to find our own table in a busy restaurant. Frutas y flores seemed understaffed and it took a while for tables to be cleared and coffee to be brought to the table. The music from the main pool is too loud.

Grand Park Royal Cozumel: Nice Resort

Grand Park Royal is a very nice place, it may not be a newer hotel but it is extremely well kept. Everything works, hot water in shower, free safe, free in room wifi maybe not the fastest but could still stream Netflix Shows. 3 nice very clean pools,water a little cold in January but that is common across the board. Food was very good but we did notice that they had less variety this time around as we had been here 2 yrs ago. The beach is a little small but the upside is great snorkeling with coral reefs and hundreds of fish to see. This was not a problem for us cause we knew the beach was small and planned to do our walking on a nice safe sidewalk by the ocean going to the town. Well located to do many excursions and only a 15 - 20 min cab ride from the airport. We would come again mainly for the great staff that made it a great vacation for us. Thank you very much 😊

Playa Mazatlan: Loved exploring the “cenote” area.

So much see and explore. The hot tub above the waterfall with the ocean view was beyond spectacular. Staff very friendly and willing to help. Every thing kept so clean and tidy. I would definetly recommend and return to this hotel.

Riu Flamingos: Worst hotel in Mexico!

The Riu Jalisco is not a 5 star hotel! Overall the hotel and general staff were ok. However, the hotel management is terrible. My wife got food poisoning on the third day we were there and I reported it to the hotel management. Instead of offering help the hotel manager, Paula Garcia Alvarez, denied that it was food poisoning and insisted we had brought a virus from Canada. She then threatened to quarantine us both to our room and said we would not be allowed to fly back to Canada on our departu [... read more]re date. They then insisted we went to the hospital to be checked for this 'virus' but didn't assist or pay for the testing and transportation cost. We went to the hospital and the test was negative as WE HAD FOOD POISONING NOT A VIRUS! The only person that cared or helped us was the on site Sunwing Representative, Gabriela Orozco. She escorted us to the hospital and translated for us as well as waited for the test results. She also took care of our transportation costs to the hospital and check in on us daily. She was fantastic. My wife was sick for a week! I would not recommend this hotel, not because we got food poisoning but because the hotel management treated us so badly. We have gone to Mexico many many times staying in 3.5-4 star hotels, all of which were better than the Riu Jalisco.

Riu Palace Baja California: It's good here

We had a great tip. We loved that it was a small resort with big resort amenities. Lots of chairs. Lots of towels. Amazing food!!! Strawberries and Shrimp. The staff was super great. Beautiful location. We enjoyed the water slides at the attached resort.

Paradisus Cancun: Amazing beach paradise

I stayed at Paradisus with my girlfriend and we had a great time! The service is spectacular, every single person on the resort is so welcoming and attentive. They are so eager to help you and really enjoyed getting to us. This made our stay extra special: I have been on a lot of beach vacations and I have say that I was very impressed by not only the landscape (which is amazing!!), ambiance but the food! Great buffet; loved that you could go to a la cartes multiple times in one week. Would hav [... read more]e loved to have seen an Italian restaurant or more variety in the a la cartes cuisine but what can you do. Loved the market grill the most especially the lamb and steak skewers, so yummy in my tummy. Everything about this place was perfection. It’s not a very party or kid oriented resort so if that’s what you’re looking for I wouldn’t suggest it. There’s other ones that cater to that. Couples..or anyone looking for a relaxing little piece of paradise you’ve found your match!!! I’m ready to book my next trip again :) Just fabulous. Absolutely fabulous
