Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Fantastic

fantastic - they did not miss a thing - everyone was so helpful - I had forgotten my charger for my tablet and desk said no problem and hooked it into their computer. computer, .They had a problem with algae but they worked almost day and night to get off the beach. Food was great.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Excellent !!

Second visit , getting better and better ! we stayed at villa 66, right on the beach , a new pool and villa next to it is almost done, can't wait to go back. Got free wifi , just log in again @ lobby every 24 hrs. (save $49.00/week)

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Small friendly resort

Great resort, no kids, great food and drinks, staff are amazing. We had ground floor pool view room, could just walk right out to pool and bar. Would definatley return. Did I mention how great the staff are.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Levelled up to the Maya

We have always stayed at and enjoyed the Iberostar Paraiso Beach and finally got the chance to book a stay at the Maya. The Maya has a similar layout but everything is better. The rooms and pool are bigger, the a la cartes, buffets and bar areas have A/C. The food selection offers more choice and much is cooked fresh for you. No problems were encountered, no food or stomach issues, accidents or hassles. Probably have to start saving now for the next Maya stay!

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Fantastic Resort - Privilege Package Recommended

The Valentin Imperial Maya is an ideal resort if you want a relatively quiet vacation with access to both a great beach and great pools. The value for money is wonderful, and the privilege package is definitely worth the price.

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Not quite a 4Star

Large resort, good diversity for those who want to relax, be involved in the activities and to mingle. Barely a 4*. Do not rely on their cart/shuttle system; if you can't walk well, this is not a place for you. Way too much time between shuttles and that is if you can get on it (full).

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Sirenity at the Grand Sirenis...

My husband and I travelled to the Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach Resort in the beginning of September and our overall rating would be a 4/5 stars. We really enjoyed ourselves immensely! We loved the beach – it has a natural coral reef right out front and a protected bay which was perfect for snorkeling. We saw lots of different fish and turtles in the bay. Plus if you get really tired, there are trams that go around the resort every 20 minutes. Food for a Mexican resort was really good! We have been to other resorts and not loved the food. The best was the Japanese and the Brazilian. For our 3rd AlaCarte we went to the Steak House which we did not love as much. It was just “OK”, nothing special. We were supposed to get a honeymoon dinner on the beach but it was cancelled and moved to the Steak House which we were disappointed in as it was not very romantic and that meant we would be eating at the Steak House twice in 1 week when the food was just “OK” there, but what can you do! The service was ok, everyone was very friendly and nice! One thing I would change is that in the buffets it is hard to get noticed by the staff sometimes. And we weren’t sure what to do when we walked in at first (no one explained to us). It would be nice to have a host/hostess seat you and let you know to turn up your cup for coffee in the mornings, things like that. Maybe a little more organization would be nice. But otherwise everything was fantastic! My one complaint would be with the rooms. The toilet didn’t flush properly and the tub was broken.. AC didn’t work one night. It would be nice if the mini bar had a little more than 2 beers in it, but this is not a deal breaker. One thing I did love was the hair dryer was awesome for a hotel hair dryer! Overall we had an amazing time and the room did not deter from the full experience of the Grand Sirenis. We will definitely try to come back!

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Amazing vacations

Sep. 12 -19, 2015. Third time to the same hotel in 2 years. Best value for the money. Specially thanks to Kristina and Rodolfo that made my kids vacation so special. The food is very good. Japanese restaurant is the best. Everything is clean. The ocean this time was full of seaweed though. Feeding the fishes in the ocean something not to be missed for the kids. Thank you. Keep doing the great job.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Relaxing holiday

Superb amenities esp restaurants. Clean. Compact layout. Attentive staff. Quality issues: some uneven stairs; general trip and fall risks; pool deterioration. Perimeter rooms had mosquito issues. Much more sun shelter needed for 'regulars' ex palapas at beach. 'Class system' restricted too many obvious areas for Diamond and Hideaway (one of two main pools plus their own). Very good experience overall.

That was a wonderful vacation. A very good resort, brand new hotel rooms, clean beaches and warm Caribbean sea water at plus 32 degrees C. Personnel of the hotel is very nice. The hotel is located approx. at 100km out of Cancun in nice and quiet area. That was a Worry-free vacation.

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Overall good but some annoying items

We enjoyed our trip to Secrets Capri however there was a few things we were not happy about. The food overall was good especially the Italian. The buffet for dinner was not. For four nights the buffet was set up outside around the pool. If you wanted a table for two you must buy a bottle of wine. Cheapest bottle- $65US. -otherwise you sat at a table for 10. How romantic is that !!. Overall the service was good and the staff very friendly.

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Beautiful relaxing resort

The resort is not huge so it was a very personal experience. Exactly what we were looking for. All staff were exceptional - friendly, professional, and always made you feel comfortable. Food was delicious and a big variety to choose from. Room was clean and comfortable. Beach was clean but they were experiencing seaweed issues that was totally beyond their control. Everyday there was workers raking and removing bags of seaweed to keep it manageable. They did a great job. Overall was a great rela [... read more]xing trip and would love to return.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: great holiday

Resort was great. Good food and great service. I would definitely recommend this place. Our room was very nice. Ocean view and close to the pool, We were able to walk to other resorts owned by Bahia Principe and enjoy their pools and food. We were never bothered by anyone trying to sell us stuff which was nice.

Grand Riviera Princess: Gorgeous Resort, Superb Theatre Shows

This resort is large with many beautiful pools. The well manicured grounds are gorgeous with many unique statues and walkways, perfect for walks. The buffet has a great selection as well as a different theme every night.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Beautiful resort for couple and friendly staff.

Resort is big and every spot is so well kept. Nice pools one quiet but one for more for party so you get choice. Food is good. Beautiful quiet beach. Room nice and staff friendly. This is a couple resort. Went there with my partner and no issues. LGBT friendly. 2nd time there. Would recommend!

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Peaceful white resort

Resort- big, clean, lots of space, not crowded. Tonnes of room to enjoy. Beach- rough, lots of stones, bring water shoes. Seaweed issue a concern. Sun- super hot- bring good sunscreen, easy to burn oneself. Service- great, lots to do, great ent team, lots of great drinks. Mexican are warm and helpful. Always in a good mood. Recommend resort. Great agent- trip central :-) thanks again.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Beautiful resort

The resort was absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed the wildlife within the resort. The restaurants where very good and the entire staff were very polite and inviting. The only issue was that the bars closed to early for those wanting to party.

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Amazing Resort

Everything about this resort was awesome. The food was so good- a really good layout/ multiple selections to choose from. All the food was fresh and delicious. They changed the buffet trays so often to ensure the quality of the food. The shows / entertainment at this resort is very impressive. Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Great resort

Great vacation everything went well only thing would recommend is blood pressure machines lot of older people and would like to make sure it is ok only other thing some of pool stairs not marked with different color t to see end of step very dangerous do fall once myself going down pol stairs.
