Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: The perfect vacation

Bahia Principe Grand El Portillo was the perfect vacation for my group! The food was fantastic with endless selection (including lots of bacon), grounds were beautiful, entertainment team was fun and lively, and we had a fantastic time throughout! There was always something to do or explore, and the value is amazing! I will return to this resort in the future and look forward to visiting other Bahia Principe resorts as a result of my positive experience here!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Bahai principe luxury sian kaan

This was our first experience with an all inclusive and first time in Mexico. We really enjoyed our stay. What I came to realize though is that the 4 resorts..sian kaan, coba, akumel and tulum each have a different vibe and demographic. Sian Kaan caters to older population but is definitely quieter than other resorts. The rooms are older but are clean. The activities are geared to older set but you can avail yourself of the activities of other resorts.

Would go back ! Already looking to book again. Entertainment staff was great. Food was amazing. Drinks were good. Pool was awesome Only annoying part is how many vendors are on the beach harassing you

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Had an enjoyable time!

Had an enjoyable vacation at Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica. The rooms were clean and our requests for additional items was met. There was a variety of foods at the buffet and the a la cartes were great too. Had no difficulty booking a la carte meals. The grounds were really nice and well maintained. Nothing negative to mention about this resort

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Great Place

This is a great resort. Nice buildings, layout, rooms, furniture etc. Very private beach with no beggars. Very good service from very nice staff. One the best all inclusive, adult only I have been to. Buffet food was better than the a la cartes. Outdoor bars served watered down booze but the lobby bars were excellent. Air Transat is pretty good if you want to avoid Air Canada! It was very close to being a 5 star experience!

Bahia Principe Explore Turquesa: Wonderful

Very clean and well maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful. We have been to several resorts and were very impressed with this one. There was always a wife variety of foods at the buffet.Would definitely return for another enjoyable vacation.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone you have one pool on the site not allowed to visit any other resort ,the beach has so many people that it's impossible to go to and 15 minutes walk or the little bus to drive you, the food was good but always cold the show are repeated every 2 days and if you wanted to see the Dominican show you had to pay 25 us, and the guys for the suitcases and the entertainment asked for A BIG TIP wow first time I see this and I went to Punta Cana many times

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Hotel/tripcentral review

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro villas #30 and up, BEWARE!! They call these rooms superior suites, not even close! They are old and falling apart, the musty smell when we got to the room was overwhelming. The room and adjoining room was invested with mosquitos and there were tiles missing in the flooring. We paid to upgrade to a premium room and that was worth every penny, villa #22. These villas appear new and are very modern as well as being close to the beach.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: beautiful place

The grounds were well maintained, the public areas were cleaner than most I've seen down south, the rooms were clean and spacious BUT a fan in the bathroom is a must and the shower door is not big enough to stop the floor of the room from getting soked. Now, in our case we are old and have bad knees and legs so the fact the buildings have 3 floors and have no elevators we were exhausted every day from stairs because we were on the 3rd floo [... read more]r. Nous avions un panthouse et c'était vraiment super. Le service et le personnel étaient gentils et à l'écoute de nos demandes. Le resort était propre et tout était bien entretenu. Angel et Roberto qui étaient à la réception ont tout fait pour que notre séjour se déroule à merveille.

Staff were great! Service was fantastic. Resort was extremely clean. Entertainment was excellent! Food and Restaurants were fantastic. We will be returning forsure ! Beautiful pools and beaches were great. ?

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Nice beach , staff were accommodating

We had an amazing week at all of the Bahia resorts! We were a bit surprised when we arrived. The resort was all couples. Not many singles. lol! Adult only was nice though. Having access to the other resorts made a big difference for us as we were looking for a variety of night time festivities. We enjoyed the private adult only beach and infinity pool was great! All of our restaurant reservations did not disappoint. Great food! Love the Bahia resorts!

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Amazing Trip at Akumal

My husband and I went to Luxury Bahia Principe Akumal for one week over the holidays. We had an amazing trip and I’m honestly surprised by the recent negative reviews! The only complaint we had was that the pools were quite cold for the majority of our stay. They warmed up on our second last day, but it was unfortunate that we could not enjoy the pool. The beach is nice an [... read more]d we went on a few beach walks to visit the other Bahia resorts. It is true that the ride from the airport is long (around 2 hours). We also happened to be the last stop. There were delays at the airport and we didn’t arrive at the hotel until midnight. The check-in process was easy though. My husband and I were given an upgrade (building 82 in the adults only section - very nice!) upon arrival. The room had two singles instead of a king, but they pushed the beds together and put on a mattress topper so we were happy with that. Especially since the room was much nicer than the standard room and it was in a great area! The bed was comfortable and we were given memory foam pillows. The bathroom was large and our room had a nice view. We were pleased that the manager Brian tried to help us figure out our room situation. He was so kind! The grounds are beautiful. There are four Bahia resorts in total and Akumal is definitely the nicest. You can take a trolley to get from one resort to the other or to get around this resort. We rarely used the trolley since you could easily walk the grounds. Akumal has three large pools (one is adults only). There is a swim-up bar in the main pool closest to the lobby and bars right by all of the other pools. My husband and I thought the food was incredible. I am not a foodie and I can be a picky eater, but I was so happy with the food options. My parents and some family friends joined us for our trip and they also really enjoyed the food. When you stay at Akumal, you can eat at all of the ‘a la carte’ restaurants. TIP: download the app and book your dinners in advance! It’s super simple to sign-up and download their app. We made reservations three days before our stay and booked all of our dinners. I’d recommend booking within a week of your departure. The people that work at Akumal are very friendly. I ended up falling on my trip and had to go to the hospital. The staff were very accommodating, got us a taxi to the hospital (the fees at the hospital were incredibly reasonable, even though we were worried about the cost!) and checked in on me a lot in the days following my accident. We were treated so well and everyone was happy and kind. I would highly recommend Luxury Bahia Principe Akumal for a vacation. I’d be happy to answer any questions about the resort. Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Beautiful Grounds

We were repeat customers to this resort and have always loved it but found this time customer service was lacking. The younger staff if they did not understand what you were asking for, would just shake their head yes and never come back! Self-service has a whole new meaning for us! The grounds are beautiful and everything very well maintained.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Stay away!

Terrible (slow) service, run down and unsafe. Took 3 hours to check in and buffets were dirty and had bugs. They ran out of alcohol (tequila and rum) mid stay. We will not be returning and felt as though we paid for a 5 star but went to a 2 star max

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Beautiful resort, great value!

For the price we paid we were really happy with this resort! Service was fantastic, Brazilian steakhouse was the best restaurant, beach was calm and beautiful! Thank you to front desk for making sure we got a reservation on our first night (Dec 31), and to the buffet servers for being so quick! If you're looking for a beautiful place to spend a week and don't mind the limitations of the breakfast/lunch buffet selection, then this resort is a very reasonable price! Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Clean resort

Entertainment staff was good. Buffett cold didn’t matter on the time you went. Room needed repair, mentioned never fixed. Resort very clean. Cooks always looked unhappy Bartenders were great We will not be going back. Very large resort, lots of walking to get to places.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Just ok

The resort was nice but i have been there 3 times at bahia principe but this is the first time in the adults only at Sian Ka'an, this part of the resort was less impressive than the other ones including the rooms, lobby and beach, if i ever go back there it will be to the Tulum, the food was way better there, very mad at the staff in charge of our check out and transfers coming back to the airport, the bus left us hanging as no show when we were all waiting and had to pay our own way from playa  [... read more]del carmen to cancun for 4 of us.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: I love Jamaica

The grounds were beautiful, the staff amazing, the rooms were ok and the food on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day was excellent. Can't say enough about the staff., they were kind and helpful. Karaoke each night was fun and the overall entertainment staff did an excellent job. Excellent A la carte restaurants. The resort was an hour away from the airport, and the shopping in Ochi was an excellent experience. Try the Starbucks and KFC when you visit. I Would go back in a heartbeat!

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Another Great Stay

My husband and I traveled to the Bahia Luxury Bouganville, Adults Only, La Romana Dec 10-20/23. We booked it through Trip Central.ca and they were fantastic to work with- quick response and very customer focused. We love the Bahia Principe brand as we know what to expect and it consistently delivers on all fronts. The package we bought was also incredible value for money. Here are some of the key points: excellent location, beautiful grounds and buildings, exceptionally clean, excellent food and [... read more] beverage option (buffet is exceptional and specialty restaurants, bars were all very good) and with tons of selection, large comfortable rooms with balcony and ocean view, plenty of lounge chairs with multiple locations to choose from (party pool, quiet pool, spa pool, lovely beach), for the most part the staff were friendly and service was great, entertainment/activities were available if you wanted it and guaranteed good weather. We went to unwind, decompress, reconnect and not do much of anything other that rest, relax, eat and drink. We would highly recommend it and will continue to book Bahia for this kind of "all inclusive" vacation. Doesn't get any better that this.
