Krystal Puerto Vallarta: Krystal Vallarta - Nice beach and nice staff

The grounds were always very well kept and very clean. We enjoyed walking on the different paths leading to the beach and the beach restaurant. The beach is quite big so nere is no crowding. The staff is very nice, very attentive to our needs and always ready to please their customers. The rooms in the Hotel Tower2 are very modern and the ocean view was quite a sight. Overall, we had a very nice stay at this hotel.

Krystal Grand Puerto Vallarta: Great staff

Had a great time, the staff was amazing, knowledgable and helpful. special kudos to Ignazia at the front desk. The buffet could have offered more vegetarian choices besides salads, potatoes, rice and beans. the grounds were kept spotless as was the pool area and beach. The servers were all so pleasant and attentive.

Crown Paradise Club: Great resort for families

This resort was wonderful for families. Lots of amenities for the kids including waterpark, playground, pools, beach access. It was very easy to get into town and explore what else Puerto Vallarta offers by bus or taxi. Staff was always very friendly and helpful with any of our needs or requests/questions. They offer a family room with bunk beds for children. These rooms are more costly but aren't any bigger. Also all family rooms are facing a street which can get noisy. The regular rooms have larger balconies and a lot of them face the gardens or pools. If I was returning, I would put my two kids in a regular room and have them share one of the double beds. We were stuck eating at the buffet all week which didn't have the greatest food. The a la carte restaurants have restrictions for when or if kids can join and all require nice clothing.

Decameron La Marina: Fantastic

I thought this hotel was fantastic I enjoyed every minute while I was down there. I loved the rooms, I loved the ocean view; the ocean was very close to the hotel it was within two steps which was fantastic. I loved the service down there, the food was great. I can’t think of a single thing that was wrong. It was such an easy process to get booked in, the service of my travel agent I had was so good. Decameron La Marina: Amazing resort!

The La Marina is a great destination for a couple get away or even family! For such a newly open hotel they ran fabulous, the food was great, service was immaculate, and the drinks were great, so close to the beach as well which was very convenient, constant fun the whole time, the staff was very engaging with everyone including us to make sure the stay was one to remember, me and my wife will be going back very soon as it was such a relaxing experience, I would like to thank everyone there for  [... read more]such a great experience, and I would love to thank tripcentral for giving us the opportunity to stay! Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Repeat Visitors are Loyal

We both are impressed with the complex where the clients come for more vacation and will come again the next time. Staff is helpful and good at what they do. Our room was just right for us, quiet and located at the back in Block 5. The elderly have to use the elevator if they aren't on the main floor. Watching the removal of palm leaves and that the coconuts were cut off before any danger showed. We took two separate days to visit the Botanical Gardens, and San Sebastien where if you wish to use credit or debit cards, they don't have the setup for it. Take pesos only, even before USD. This town was built in the 1800s, and is on several hills, so bring comfortable shoes. They remain old fashioned. And leaving a cold climate made us feel free to discard the gloves, jackets, and caps and watch the waves, which was relaxing. Loved it!

great staff the rest of resort ok food not great rooms have very small beds . ask for new room with king checked out of ours .checked back in and got a new room ended up same bed.area is very good. overall wont stay again. still had good time beach is very good.

Las Palmas by the Sea: Great inexpensive place to go!

Las Palmas by the Sea is a wonderful place to go if you are looking for a quaint, older style hotel and an affordable vacation. The facility is very safe. The staff are amazing and always do their absolute best to assist their guests in anyway possible. The concierge and reception staff are very welcoming and helpful. The hotel although older, is very charming and is very clean. Staff clean continuously throughout the day to ensure that their guests are comfortable in their surroundings. T [... read more]he maids are very good at their jobs as well. They are always courteous, friendly and are completely trustworthy which is very important. The pool areas are well maintained as is the beach which is fairly spacious. There are usually enough lounge chairs and umbrellas to accommodate us sun worshippers. There are various activities offered throughout the day to choose from as well as tours, and a a kid’s club. There is also nightly entertainment provided. Hosea the entertainment director does his best to offer games and activities for all age groups. The food is good with a great selection of items which is sure to satisfy most people. There is also an a la carte dinner offered every.evening which is excellent. Pedro and all the wait staff are terrific. I’m closing, I have gone for four years to Las Palmas and am already planning my trip for next year.

Krystal Puerto Vallarta: GREAT VACATION!

The hotel is in an excellent location. We were able to walk to the Malecon, Walmart - should you want anything for your room - altho we had everything you could think of on site. The staff was great and very friendly. Buffet had lots of options and the staff was always willing to make anything you didn't see. (like bacon wasn't always out at breakfast but they would bring it to you if you asked) Always lots of fresh fruit and salad items. We ended up in a main floor suite facing the ocean. Costa Club Punta Arena: Totally enjoyable

We really enjoyed our stay at the Costa Club. Staff were all friendly and accommodating, the food was predictably amazing. It does not matter what your taste buds like you will find something. The complex is well looked after with some of the most hard working staff I have ever saw in my 20 +years of visiting Mexico. Riu Vallarta: Perfect resort!

The full renovation to this resort is wonderful! The rooms are modern and energy efficient, there is plenty of space for all the guests, we never felt crowded, or felt like we had to wait too long for anything. The serving staff were very courteous and helpful, and deserve more tips than we saw being left! Love the new a la carte system! Buenaventura Grand Hotel and Great Moments: A perfect Holiday

I booked the Beau Aventura Grand for myself and two friends. Chose it for location,and the good food reviews. We were not disappointed. The hotel is a nice small size,but lots of beach chairs, great pools. Beds comfy and clean. All in all we had a wonderful stay

Vamar Vallarta: Good 3 Star

The buffet restaurant was fairly good. There was always fresh fruit and the variety was reasonable.The servers were attentive and the atmosphere by the water was a nice change. The front lobby staff were excellent in assisting with anything you need. Alturo is easily the best person at the front desk for quick assistance and problem solving. The porter staff were also great. Manuel is the most sincere helpful person that you can ask for. Rooms were clean but no fridge and a balcony is extra $.  [... read more]There is only wifi in the lobby and restaurant which is quite inconvenient. The pool is definitely a good size and loungers were always available. The sister resort across the street had the ocean, pools and lunch/ late night food. The food there is very average with the burgers being the best option without the cardboard fries.The main reason that I would not stay here again is only because I really like wifi in the room and a fridge would have been good. The safe in the room is modern and easy to use.

Hacienda Buenaventura Hotel and Mexican Charm: Fantastic Resort

Found everything on this resort really good,would have liked more variety in the buffet but that’s just me.The staff from the front desk down to the bell boys were very friendly and all go out off their way to help you,pool you could just walk in nice and warm.Air Canada reps leave a lot to be desired ,after finding our transport at the airport our cases were put on Bus,The rep said we have lots off time go have a beer we won’t leave without you.15 mins later the bus is gone luggage and all  [... read more]to the hotel,couldn’t find Air Canada rep anywhere,Thanks to the Mexico Gentelman who made a few phone calls and got us a ride to hotel 2 hours later,No thanks to Air Canada.would recommend this resort to anyone,would not recommend Air Canada.

Costa Club Punta Arena: Loved it!

This was my second stay at Costa Club, and I would stay again. Kind, friendly, hard working staff, good food, clean and beautiful rooms. It is an easy walk to the Melacon, and has access to a long beautiful beach.

Krystal Puerto Vallarta: Awful resort

This hotel is rated 4 stars but in reality it deserves 2! Buffet is disgusting, we saw a guy fill a juice cooler from a paint bucket. Food was horrendous as well! We had to eat out everyday. The staff is VERY unfriendly & the cleaning service is horrible. They close and open the bar as they choose. They have 2 restaurants that are reservation only and when I tried to make a reservation for one of them the whole week she told me “it’s fully booked for your whole stay, bye now”. Costa Club Punta Arena: Relaxing getaway

We quite enjoyed our stay overall. There was one person who strolled the front lobby area (im sorry i didnt get his name) but he worked days.. ensuring we had everything we needed. He was wonderful. Nice room with a great view of the pool and ocean. LOVED the iguanas on the property. Food was decent, bar service great. Friendly staff. Room cleaned perfectly and daily. Fantastic A La Carte and a great location. My only recomendation would be to allow visitors to have a tour of the location to see [... read more] what it offers so they may stay in the future. Vamar Vallarta: Hotel is older and is rated 3stars, however it is clean and the food was very good I would return

I'm always traveling and don't often take the time to write a review, but after seeing some of the negative comments below I wanted to share my experience. The hotel is in a great area of PV at the marina and you can walk around the shops close by. There is a fantastic market at the marina on Thursday nights. The hotel is old and is rated 3stars, however it is clean and the food was very good. The staff are outstanding and were always very pleasant. Note the construction at the building next door is near completion and was no bother at all. AC worked fine once we figured it out, and there is water bottle refill stations on each floor. Bus to downtown is out front for 10 pesos and takes 35minutes. The pool area was calm at most times and there is little to do here at night, but most people would head to the clubs downtown.

Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta: Beautiful resort

This resort was exactly what we were looking for traveling with my 85 year old parents. Compact, accessable, warm pool, good food, friendly staff and wonderful weather. It could get a little loud at night. The way the hotel is built all the activities are in the middle.
