Grand Palladium Palace: Grand Palladium Palace in DR

Loved the facility and the service. Front desk staff were great and very helpful. Servers in the lobbies were amazing as they were always there right away as we sat down. They were always very pleasant. Restaurant choices were super. The evening lobby entertainment was available in five different locations every evening and was very good. You could tell by the number of people listening and dancing. Plus, the beach was beautiful and seemingly endless. The pools are well maintained and very relax [... read more]ing. Finally, the grounds are very all maintained and look beautiful. This is our second Grand Palladium experience (first was Mexico) and we will be back.

Grand Palladium Palace: Mega Resort - Nice Place, Good Food

Large but Nice Resort, Great Beach” 4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago Palladium Palace: This hotel sit in a mega Palladium resort that is composed of 4 distinct resorts: The Bavaro, Punta Cana, Palace and Royal. The first 3 are interchangeable and the Royal is the “adults only” that can go anywhere but is restricted to the others. The restaurants and pools are located around the resorts and there is transportation (Train, long golf carts, etc…) to move people around. Hotel: Quick check- [... read more]in and accommodating front desk. Hotel went out of their way to please us and we got a fantastic loft room with a view on the beach. We were in block 91 and the room was a little dated but they are in the process of renovating. It did seem that the renovated room were reserved for attracting “Club” members. Overall the room we had was acceptable. The housekeeper Luz did a fantastic job of keeping the room clean. Beach: The beach was well maintained and has some of the nicest sand in Punta Cana. There are plenty of lounge chairs around but the shaded areas and palapas are limited probably due to the fact that the beach is narrower for the hotel. There are some towel reservations games for the choicest spots but not nearly as early as some other places we have been. No good snorkeling on site but can be had nearby at a cost. Pool: The Palace has a large pool, clean & well maintained. The pool bar is easily accessible from both the water and the deck. They have activities for all who wish to participate and it make for an entertaining area. They even brought in a large inflatable structure to be used as an obstacle course. Plenty of palapas and tree for shade as well as areas for sunning. Entertainment Team: Active on both the beach and in the pool area. Not overly pushy and quite fun. Bars: Plenty of bars all over the resort and the choice of mixes is good. Restaurants: The buffets offer a lot of choice and the service is very good. Try the various ones at the other 2 hotels. There are multiple “a la carte” restaurants and our favourites are Mare Nostrum, Sumptuori (Japanese), Tapeo in that order but the others were good also. Outside Activities: Plenty of activities to be had but a bit of advice…shop around and bargain for the best price. Always pay by credit card to have an official receipt even if they offer a discount when you pay cash because chance are, you can get cheaper elsewhere. Overall we had a very enjoyable time at this resort and would recommend it to others. they have free wi-fi everywhere which is great! We rate this hotel a 4 out of 5. Room Tip: Block 91 is great

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Excellent resort

Very clean resort,the people at the Palladium are smiling and saying Hello to us!! Restauants food and the main restauant very clean and different foods available.The grounds are kept beautiful and clean.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Memorable Trip

The best resort my husband and I have been on in the 13 years we've been taking annual trips to the Caribbean Islands. The staff were incredibly helpful and always greeting us with a smile. Our room # 1527 was ocean view (to our pleasant surprise) and kept very clean and welcomed with a tropical fruit platter. The decor was beautiful with White columns in the adult pools and activities in the kiddie pools where the served hot dogs and ice cream everyday. The food was good, we usually prefer to eat our meals at the buffets because of the variety and this was exceptionable. The only ala la carte we ate at was Italian which was good, but they had many to choose from. We also went to the entertainment on Sunset Cove one evening where we thoroughly enjoyed a bonfire it was my first ever experience. I will definitely return to this resort. I loved everything about it.

Grand Palladium Select Bavaro: All around ~ Great Vacation!

My husband and I took a last-minute vacation. Our TripCentral agent, Miranda, was very helpful. She recommended some upgrades and patiently worked with us while we decided our location ~ Grand Palladium Bavaro. We ended up travelling with Air Transat which were happy with. We have never had an issue w/ them. We had a great time on our vacation. The resort was beautiful and very large. We received an upgrade to our room; the Romance w/ Outdoor Mayan shower. Very nice and clean. The staff was fri [... read more]endly. We left our safe open one evening and the maid service turned down our sheets. Nothing was touched ~ we were very impressed and left a letter of thanks with our concierge. The service was good as was the food. Oh my, the food. So much food! The beach was stunning. Windy, but stunning. We did the romantic dinner on the beach. Very nice as well. Our Air Transat representative was great as was the Palladium concierge. We liked that we could make reservations at the restaurants and order room service. We paid for the option plus and would definitely do it if going again. We will be back for sure and will bring our teens next time. It was a great last-minute vacation.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Great vacation

This was our second time to Kantenah and we had a great time, again! It's clean, the food is good, the people are great. We had a small issue this visit with hot water the first night but the resort staff took care of it right away and the rest of our time there was excellent.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Really good but not perfect

It's big. Absolutely amazing food, unlimited! Free room service had is own menu which had a good selection and quality of food. (I wasn't impressed that when I ordered for a specific time that they brought it 40 minutes early!) Unfortunately we didn't know about room service menu until 5th day cause they forgot to leave a menu in our room. Really great pool. Lots of bars and wine/rum. We don't drink so I can't say anything to that. All inclusive really does include everything except their spa se [... read more]rvices, lobster in restaurants, and wine/beer/rum. (Obviously gift shops and excursions aren't included either!) They will try to get you to buy a membership for a wack load of money and paint it up to be extremely good deal. Trust me, the deal isn't nearly as good as it sounds! By listening to their sales pitch for 90 minutes we got a $300 spa services voucher. I would say that was extremely over rated price. What we got for $300 USD spa was an 80 minute massage. I wouldn't pay $50 for it. I figured I got about $30 worth of value for it. Ocean view room is worth $20 extra but we got it since we're honeymooners. Jacuzzi was extremely leaky by the drain which I fixed myself in a few minutes. You definitely don't want ground floor if you have an option. Unless you're the type that loves talking to the staff that walk by and don't mind people walking right past you when you sit there in your little patio. We took Mystic Mountain adventure through the resort ($334 USD for 2). I'm of the firm belief if i would have walked out of the resort and hired my own private taxi I could have done all that at my own pace for at least $100 USD less. I found out later. There is TV in the room. No dvd players or computers. Lots of programs going every day and evening that we didn't do cause we're on honeymoon and wanted more quiet and alone time.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Loved the resort

Resort is large but there is transportation to get around. Sports facility is large and always available. Staff are friendly but English is very limited. Rooms are fine sometimes musty. Pools are clean, beach is soft clean sand. Beach is deep after 40 feet, and waves can take you off your feet. Food is good, half the time not hot enough at the buffet. Restaurants are fun and tasty. All round, a good resort for couples or families.

Grand Palladium Palace: GOOD RESORT BUT..

Grounds and pool areas are great. Food was average. Rooms were OK but the newer renovated rooms have poorly designed bathtubs that leak into the bedroom. No adjoining rooms anywhere, which we had requested. Their idea of an adjoining room is two rooms next to each other but none connect directly. Three of four of us were sick at the end of the trip even though we never touched the local water.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Beautiful resort !!!!

The resort was in good shape some renovations being done around the rooms were very clean and grounds were spotless and well groomed the food was really good with great selection of food in the main dining area as well as the 7 restaurants throughout the resort.The staff was really nice and helpful and would go out of their way to accommodate you the bars throughout were great with live entertainment. CONS: 1. we did have trouble getting our mini bar in our room stocked with water,soft drinks a [... read more]nd beer but did get it sorted out. 2.Our shower head in the bathroom came apart enabling us to take a shower properly after three calls to maintenance and 2 days it was finally repaired. I would diffidently go back for another stay for sure. :)

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Best resort so far

Fabulous resort. Been to Dominican Cuba and Mexico. Loved Jamacia the most so far. Great food. Friendly helpful people. Pools were excellent Big but easy to get a shuttle/trolley Very clean. Sunset cove had the best beach area.

TRS Turquesa: fabulous resort

Excellent resort, great location, well maintained. Staff was professional, friendly, willing to help and provided excellent service. Beach was fabulous and was kept clean. Lots of shade for the hot sunny days.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Great Resort!

Resort was very clean, staff were extremely friendly, food was very good. The resorts was large enough that you could spend a day in a different spot every day and not get bored of the same thing after day 4. For those looking for long walks along a beech, this is not the resort for you. However, the pool is massive.

Grand Palladium Riviera Resort And Spa: Awesome Vacation

We had an awesome vacation at the Grand Palladium Resort, the food was excellent, staff great, service was very good. The room was good (needs updating & new pillows) but fit our needs perfectly. I would certainly return to this resort, great value.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Loved this resort.

This is a large resort, but we loved it. We walked everyday on the covered paths, which were beautiful and clean. The food was the best we ever had, from the buffet to the restaurants. The night we arrived we ate at the Sports Bar, this was awesome. The drinks were really good too, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the bathroom amenities were top notch. I didn't bring my hairdryer, and was very surprised at the nice one they had in the bath [... read more]room, I think it was better then mine. The beach was a bit rocky, but if you move further down on the Kantenah end of the beach, it is sandier. We were in the ocean everyday, it was beautiful, and would return again for sure!!

Grand Palladium Palace: Great Resort!!

This was my second year in a row at this resort and I really enjoyed it once again...I especially like the fact that you stay at one and play at three...Each lobby has different entertainment every night with a variety of music..The grounds are impeccable, the pools and beach are beautiful with never any lack of beach chairs. A good selection of restaurants with the Japanese being by far the best...My only complaint here would be that you cannot reserve in advance...The buffets had a good select [... read more]ion however I don't believe they have enough staff to cover the amount of tables. Not arriving as soon as the buffet opened, we rarely walked in and found a clean table that was cleanly set with cutlery and napkins...Disco and sports bar are very enjoyable and the service was excellent...I would recommend this resort and not hesitate to go back..

Stayed at the Bavaro Palladium resort in Punta Cana. Newer buildings chose Roof Top Terrace . Sixth time on property. William at Palace pool bar is the best plus Alex, Carmen, Giselle, Carlos, Marylus

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Beautiful resort

This was our 4th trip to Grand Palladium. The resort is very well maintained and the staff are excellent. My one peeve would be the guests that feed the animals and encourage them to be in public areas.

Grand Palladium Palace: Nice resort

I enjoy resort but was vert disappointed with my room. Paid extra for junior suite and was just a evert day room that I've had at other resorts. Our travelling friends who had a regular room had a nicer room than we did

Grand Palladium Palace: Very nice resort

Lovely grounds, nice remodelled rooms, good selection of food in buffet, and plenty of restaurants to choose from. The only problem was getting in & out of the bathtub (or shower) which was poorly designed, and caused flooding on the floor, which in turn becomes a safety issue....could be dangerous! Other than that everything was great.
