Platinum Yucatan Princess: Excellent Resort

Amazing resort. Service was good it was ten minute cab ride into town. A La Carts were by show up only. The only thing sucked was it was September and high tide so sea weed was on the beach but the resort pools made up for it.

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Great resort

The resort is smaller with only 296 rooms, but this allows you to mingle with the other guests more effectively than a larger resort. Food was good, but they truly need to work on pool repairs. Many missing tiles and the cleaning schedule needs to be more aggressive.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Awesome Resort!!!!

My impression of the grounds, and the layout were greatly exceeded. My Fiancee and I were in building 21 (by mistake) and enjoyed waking up to deer, Iguanas, and coatimundi every morning. I was very impressed with the beach restaurant and area surrounding. The salt water pools were also excellent. Very clean resort.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: All Inclusive really does mean ALL INCLUSIVE

Azul Fives is definitely a luxury resort. You can choose if you desire the quiet life or the party life during the day and at night at this resort. There are various pools, restaurants to choose from. It is a very large resort, so make sure you are ready to do some walking...something you'll get used to, after a few days. I recommend tipping your servers every chance you get, as they truly deserve it. One of the best holidays I've ever had.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Beautiful resort and great service!

Amazing resort, super friendly people working there. Very large and beautifully maintained property, variety of wildlife ... Buffet was pretty amazing too, what a selection and so tasty and fresh! So much to do, resort is right next to Xcaret Park! We would love to visit again some day!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Good

Stayed Sept 3-Sept 10 food and drink was very good . It was very humid and no air conditioning in buffet. Rooms were nice . The staff were friendly . We had trouble getting mini bar stocked the first couple days but it was taken care of after many calls. The beach was not that great very shallow and lots of sea weed .

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Great resort, beautiful beach!

Perfect sized resort - not too big or too small. Great amenities and friendly staff that does amazing things with what they have. Loved the beach and the coffee shop. It was a wonderful place to relax and experience Cuba.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: “Great all inclusive resort”

5 of 5 We checked into the Grand Bahia Principe Coba on August 10th to the 17th and I must say, this hotel is worth every single penny! The resort is HUGE, but after the first day or so you'll be completely familiar with everything plus you can use all the facilities of Grand Bahia Principe Tulum as well, so it's like a "buy one get one free" sort of deal! They also have these shuttles/trains/golf cars that take you anywhere that you need to go and you never have to wait more than 5 minutes! There are no complaints about the service, you can see how hard everyone is working and how fast they work as well for long hours so take the time to appreciate your service! The rooms are very spacious and beautiful! We felt right at home and if you ever need anything, it's just a quick phone call away. The buildings are beautiful, but more than anything, Coba's landscaping is top notch! My kids really enjoyed all the little animals as well, they were really cute! The food is abundantly delicious and fresh! The A La Carte's were also amazing, but unfortunately we didn't make it in time to see the Japanese show, so make sure to be there 5 minutes or so ahead of your time! Shoutout to Hector at the Snack Bar, he was very nice! The most amazing thing about this resort is that there is constant entertainment 24/7. The Coba entertainment team works so hard every single day from early in the morning at the pool to late in the evening, there's never a dull moment at the Coba! Shoutout to Gabriel, Irma, Jose (i think that's his name), Charlie, Nallely, Eduardo and the many other entertainers at the Coba! I have never met people with bigger or kinder hearts than these people! We love you Coba entertainment team! It's also really nice how they give out t-shirts as prizes, a lasting souvenir to take home with you! Once the evening shows are over, you can head out to the terrace for more fun and then over to Tulum's hacienda where you can listen to live music, the singer is truly special! After the living music, from 11:30 to 2am the disco club is open, so there is always something to do, there is no way one can complain that they were bored! We did go to the Jewellery Factory and Playa del Carmen, it was a day well spent! We also went to Xel ha and it definitely was a family favourite! I highly recommend Xelha because it's such a perfect and beautiful day, it is aquatic based but the park is mainly natural! Overall, we had a very memorable vacation at the Grand Bahia Principe Coba in Mexico! :)

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Nice Resort

Hotel layout was very large and could become confusing haveing to travel between different lobby's for dining. Food was decent in the buffets, but the a la carte restaurants were quite good. Staff were efficient but not overly enthusiastic about serving you.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: Average resort, nothing special

Outdated resort, no ac in the restaraunts, average food, tons of moskitos, poor night entertaiment, been to better places in riviera maya for less money, outbound flight delayed for 4 hours basicaly we had 6 days and not 7

Hotel Marina El Cid Spa and Beach Resort: Excellent Stay!

The grounds are kept very well - 5 star. The food was just excellent - I have a family of 6 and everyone loved the variety. The 2 room suite we had suited us perfectly. The entertainment was very good compared to other resorts! The pool area was spectacular for adults and kids -- great water slide ;)

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: excellent resort

Fantastic place that provides great conditions for complete relaxation and recharge Truly enjoyed Yoga classes with Hiram and Eliu,, spa facilities , paddling lessons with German Location is amazing . Rooms are spacious , nice and clean , with exceptional view. food was great The Service was outstanding @ any level. would love to return to this resort

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Excellent Vacation

The hotel is massive and lots to do without having to leave the resort. The A la Carte Restaurants are excellent and I recommend going with the Golden Club upgrade. The resort staff are all very friendly and go the extra mile for special occasions like Birthdays.

Grand Palladium Riviera Resort And Spa: Really awesome resort

I have been to this resort 5 different times and I still am amazed. There is lots of cool entertainment ( activities at the pools, and the shows at night) The bar tenders at the White Sands ( Joel and Pedro) are awesome. We had a lot of fun with them. Lots of variety of drinks and shots.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Paradise

It was our fourth time at the Barceló. We love the beach (the seaweed is unfortunate, but the staff works very hard to keep it pristine). The pools are large and have been designed so well with beautiful plants surrounding them. The grounds are clean and the food is lovely. One drawback is that the entertainment, while very good, is extremely loud.

Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya: Great Family Restort

We were there for the Cancun Jazz Festival; the hotels (two "family and adults) were a live and buzzing but in no way felt cramp and crowed. Staff members were very attentive. Good restaurants to choose from I believe six. Clean rooms with free stocked bar! Overall a very clean hotel good experience. !!The beach which we dubbed the lagoon, was the one down fall and not enough umbrellas or none for beach lounges!!

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Sunshine in Mexico is always perfect

Hotel rooms were old and stained and falling apart stains on sheets as well, ac was broken and toilet broke. We had to change rooms moved to the plus area and overall conditions were much better, poolside and grounds were dirty. There was no beach or beach access except for a small area for the boats to go in and out off. Good was surprisingly good. No swim up bar only 2 pool bars and in the slow season were very busy. Entertainment was poor

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Incredible resort

Just came back from this resort. The nicest resort I have ever been to by far. Immaculate grounds, manicured to perfection. The rooms were lovely and kept pristine. The food was phenomenal. I felt like the food presentation was nothing less than five star. The waiters, bar tenders, maids etc etc went above and beyond! So pleasant and helpful. I honestly cannot think of one negative thing to say about this resort and I def. cannot wait until I can return.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Spectacular Service

The rooms were wonderful , spacious and modern. Decor was stylish and appealing. Ease of getting a cool drink was amazing because there was a cafe or bar close at hand!! This was defintely my best resort experience in terms of accommodation and service. Loved it!!!!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Becoming ordinary

When we arrived the air conditioner wasn't working and there was water on the floor. A good thing they put a towel down to absorb the water. We called for service and it was fixed within a few hours. We have been here 3 times previous this was the first bad experience we have had. They have made some changes now Coba and Tulum are their lower class resort and they are making Akumal and Sian Ka'an their Luxury Resort. So staying at Coba you can no longer go to Akumal or Sian Ka'an beach bar or be [... read more]ach area. The internet that was provided was 1 hour per day, but once you accessed it the hour started and expired 60 minutes later even if you stopped access. The food was great, no issues, the room was well cleaned, and staff is friendly. The beach was cared for daily, as well as the pool.
