Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Amazing resort -loved it!

Really beautiful property, grounds kept immaculate. Peacocks are really neat to see. Beach and pool area -fun area and huts on beach are wonderful to hide under from the sun for awhile. We enjoyed food immensely, both buffet and a la carte restaurants.

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Exceeded all expectations!

Stayed as a couple the week of March 9, 2015. Pleasantly surprised at how beautiful resort was. Upgraded our room and process was a little challenging but got to the room only to find our luggage was mixed up with someone else's. Sarah helped rectify the problem and we got our luggage no harm done. The staff were friendly and we didn't want for anything the entire week. Food was hot and very tasty and the wine was decent. Did the dune buggy excursion and it was nice to see the country side but be prepared to be approached at every stop by the locals trying to sell you there goods. We had a fabulous holiday and can't wait to go back. No more Mexico for these kids!!

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Melia Caribe Tropical

We stayed at the Melia Caribe Tropical. The rooms were very nice, the grounds were well kept. The sewer system takes getting used to as flushing is a multiple time experience. It took us 3 days out of our 7 day vacation to finally not get lost. we suggested that the walkways be better marked to and from the beach so that people could find their way back to their rooms easier. The beach was weedy but the staff worked diligently to get it cleaned up. this process does not happen in a day but over a few days. Kudos to the workers. the water was warm and you can swim with the fish just off the beach. Would we go back. You bet. very very nice.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Huge Resort with something for everyone

Beautiful Beaches, warm water and plenty of sun. Great food on a huge resort. Couple of things to watch out for: Mixed drinks are really sweet, resort pricing is extreme (sunscreen ($25 US), pool noodles ($21 US)). Standard bait and switch marketing is in play for various things and pictures are expensive. Aside from the watch items, if you like it hot and sunny this is definitely the place for you. Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Great family getaway

Typical all-inclusive in the 4 to 4+ category. Immaculate and expansive grounds, large and clean rooms, broad selection of restaurants and bars, beautiful beach. Don't expect gourmet food, but there's enough selection to find something every day. Specialty restaurants are hit and miss. Japanese show disappointing. Liquor brands are local and ok (pay extra for international brands). Most staff accommodating and helpful. Front desk often standoffish but cleaning staff and bartenders are much more  [... read more]attentive and pleasant. Tips (US $1-5) and small gifts are a good idea (cosmetics, children's clothing).

Ocean Blue and Sand: Wonderful and Fun Resort!

Ocean Blue and Golf Resort has beautiful well kept grounds, lovely large rooms and an amazing beach. The resort has a great vibe. The only issue we had was with the Mexican restaurant, we had to try 3 times before we were successful. The experience trying to get a table was unpleasant. The other restaurants seemed better organized and efficient. Mike's coffee shop was a dream, the guys in there were so awesome and the coffee was delicious . Our teenagers loved all the activities, and had a great time. I loved that it was not too big but not too small either. The food was delicious and we never had an issue finding dishes enjoyed by all.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Great

We arrived at Memories Splash punts Cana and the room service was awesome our bags where delivered to our rooms but upon getting to our rooms we where quite disappointed to find that the ajoining rooms which we had requested was not available my grandchildren where going to be in my care in the evenings so my bed became theirs also as a party of seven we had three rooms on the same floor while our nephew was on a floor above us. Maid service was excellent tho I must say the bar being stocked daily just did not happen more than once we had to call for drinks to be restocked which took a couple of hours. The food was good I have had tastier at other resorts although when we complained about our rooms not being together the management did give us bracelets to their sister resort The Royalton the food was fantastic ! The sushi Bar was the best , we ate at the steak restaurant our dinner was one of the bests during our stay .We love the free WiFi all over the resort and the kids couldn't get enough of the water park. The entertainment at the Royalton nighty was top notch I would recommend if your at Memories Splash to hop on the trolley and enjoy. The pool and grounds where spotless and the staff where the happiest people. One more thing I will mention if your going for a week just enjoy the resort stay away from the excursion they are just money hungry people who are taking advantage of the tourist, they seem to think we are loaded with money when it comes to selling photos the prices are outrageous!! Also remember if you go to their shops dicker they will come down more than half of what they first ask.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: AMAZING RESORT

Just returned from 7 days at the Ambar. This is our second time and it just keeps getting better. Food and drinks are fantastic, grounds and rooms are immaculate and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Planning on returning next year.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Wonderful Holiday Resort

We love the Bahai Principe Ambar. This was our second visit and we enjoyed sharing it with good friends who were truly impressed by our visit. Everything from front desk of the resort to the ocean is beautiful! The grounds, the staff, the restaurants, the rooms, the food, the pool and beach are all top notch! Would recommend this resort to anyone!

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: sub standard

Rooms are run down, to many loud spring break kid's. You had to be early to get a pool chair. Maids did not seem to want to stock min bars in room or replace towels and sheets. Food was fair but don't bother to make reservations at A La Carts, not worth the effort.

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Fantastic resort !

Totally enjoyed Melia Caribe! It`s a beautiful resort! Very clean and well kept! The staff is very pleasant! The food is fantastic and there is just so much variety! The Level Adult section is great! This is my second time and I will go again!

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Wonderful Trip

The hotel overall was in good condition - air conditioning worked, hot water in the showers, and food was good. The Be Live Resort is well maintained and has many pools. The beach was beautiful, although it is covered in seaweed - perhaps because its in a cove behind a breakwater. The staff were on the beach daily removing truck loads of seaweed, but you did need to wade through seaweed to swim in the ocean. The staff was very friendly. The Resort does a great job of entertaining people througho [... read more]ut the day, with activities every hour, and they hosted a Welcome Reception for Canadians. Sugar at the Kids Club was amazing - she came around the pool to recruit kids to join in activities such as soccer, darts, beachcombing, etc. and every night before the animation show, the kids all got certificates and prizes. This resort is only 20 minutes from the airport - close to golf courses and has on on site Casino.

Alsol Del Mar: What A Muy Bien Place

My Husband and I had a wonderful time at the Also del Mar - it was the Sun from the Sea as in it's name. Rooms, Food, Drinks, Pool were wonderful. The Staff were outstanding. It was by far the best ever. The landscape was lovely, it could have done with a few more flowering plants maybe Frangipani.

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Great Resort and wonderful staff!

Wonderful staff, fantastic pool area and good food. I'd recommend this resort to anyone looking to have a good time and not so quiet. Kids are welcome, but there is a pool designated for children. We would definitely go back.

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Great vacation!

The hotel itself is very nice. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. I found what made this hotel was the staff...they are truly amazing people that work here. We have travelled to Punta Cana before but we never experienced such wonderful service in a warm, welcoming way. The hotel rooms were nice and the beds were extremely comfortable with all amenities included. The only complaint would be that they were not well lit but we found this to be a problem at many restaurants as well. [... read more] We really enjoyed the preferred pools, restaurant by the beach, and separate beach area for preferred guests. The wait staff in these areas were amazing and work very hard to make sure you had your drinks filled on a regular basis. Our favorite restaurant was Mercure...the food and ambiance was amazing! I also have to mention the fabulous rotisserie chicken available everyday at the lunch buffet place that was simply outstanding! We also really enjoyed the "All You Can Eat Lobster Party" on the beach Sunday night. We had to pay extra for this but we thought it was well worth it. We never experienced anything like this and thought it was very well organized with live music, lights, the ocean, and the most amazing lobster we ever tasted! The restaurants we liked the least were Tamarindo, Carnival Buffet, and the Bluewater Grill. I thought the daily snacks provided in our room was a nice idea and gives you something to snack on before dinner. The beach area was beautiful and the staff at the hotel work very hard to keep the beach clean from seaweed. This hotel had the nicest beachfront of all the hotels in the area. We had an amazing time...thank you Trip Central and in particular Elizabeth for taking care of everything for us!

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: Relaxing stay!

Overall a very good experience. Not overly impressed with the food. Property is beautiful. Can always find a chair by the pool or on the beach. Great main bar staff (Edwin, Salserine, Polaco, Jimmy). Great mix of international travellers.

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Elegance Club provided excellent service

We stayed at Majestic Elegance between March 15th and the 22nd. Clean, spacious room, good food with lots of variety - excellent service from Antonio our butler, Santo the concierge and the IT staff - they went above and beyond to help me with a computer problem. The dining staff were friendly and efficient.

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Awesome Resort

The resort is very well kept and clean. We ate in all the restaurants and they were all great! Something to accommodate everyone's palate. Lots of beach chairs and shade. We spent everyday at the beach, Bavaro beach is awesome! It was March break when we stayed so needless to say the beach bathrooms ran out of soap and toilet tissue a couple of times. The only negative comment I have is that the pillows were flat and there is no liquor in your mini bar just a few beer and pop.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Very Nice Resort

Just came back from Barcelo Bavaro palace . It is a beautiful report. The food is excellent. The rooms are really nice. Get one with a tub on the balcony. Very large resort Both pools and beach are very nice. Would return.

Caribe Deluxe Princess: Wow!!! Paradise :)

We loved the layout of this hotel, we stayed close to the pool, ocean, buffet. The hotel was very clean and the service was great. Even though it was March Break and busy, we never felt overwhelmed by people.
