Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Best Resort!

The staff were wonderful. Never passed a staff member who did not say 'Hello" and ask if we needed anything. Food was very good. Fan in our room was broken , took a couple calls but was taken care of quite promptly. Beautiful location. Liked that we could go to Tulam ( staff not very helpful or friendly like Akumal!) and Coba Resorts as well. Had a wonderful trip.

Iberostar Waves Quetzal: Another Great Stay at the Quetzal

We love this hotel. It has a very Mexican feel which a lot of resorts are abandoning. (See Riu) We love the colours and the jungle feel. The smaller size of the resort also makes it very easy to get around. While there is less choice in the buffet than some of the larger resorts, the quality of the food is amazing! The Playacar beach is probably the nicest beach in the Mayan Riviera. The pool is great , however a couple more shallow areas for the kids would be nice. We only had a couple minor complaints about the Quetzal. 1) There is only one drink bar down by the beach which can get really busy. 2) The rooms are a bit on the small side with double beds instead of queens. This makes it a bit more cramped when travelling with small kids. However, the positives far outweigh the negatives and we definitely plan on returning to this resort.

Vamar Vallarta: Great trip!!

Our family vacation to the Vamar Vallarta was super! The resort is very clean, which is a huge plus. We really enjoyed that the resort had both the Marina and Ocean side areas...it made the days interesting to find new places to relax. Our family agreed we would all go back!!!

Iberostar Waves Quetzal: Home away from home

This resort was beautiful there was lots to do very clean service was the best we've had the rainforest was breathtaking so many animals brightly colored and clean the live entertainment was very good too the food was great especially New Year's Eve and the staff the front desk the coffee shop the maids every person in there should be recommended because they were all wonderful not one person wasn't friendly we would go to this Resort again the brochure does not do justice to this hotel try it y [... read more]ourself you won't be disappointed

Unico 20 87 Hotel Riviera Maya: Ultimate All Inclusive Resort!

Our travel agent told us the resort was only a year & a half old & all the bugs had been ironed out. She was right! We were assigned a hostess who was at our beck & call. If we had any questions/concerns, she handled everything. As well, she offered to make our dinner reservations, spa appointments, book our excursions, etc. Not only was it a beautiful property with all the usual amenities & more but the customer service was exceptional as were the meals.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Excellent adult resort

This resort is fantastic for adults who just want to relax. The food at the buffet and at the two restaurants is excellent. Access to the exclusive beach and to the adjoining resorts is easy. We only tried two of the restaurants at the adjoining resorts but they were also excellent. The staff are friendly and happy to help. Great value.

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: good resort

Very clean, food was very good for an all inclusive resort, work out facilities were decent. Staff was excellent. Beautiful location and beach. Penthouse room had a great view of ocean and was very quiet

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Another fantastic RIU resort! !

The resort was beautiful, the food and drinks were great and plentiful. Hotel, grounds, rooms, pools, bathrooms, common areas etc. were always well maintained. The staff were welcoming and a pleasure to spend time with. RIU does it again!!!!!

Selection Riviera Cancun: Wonderful experience at Sensatori!

Enjoyed the Smaller size of this resort. This made everything easily accessible from our room. The food choices were varied. Lots of fun at the Mexican food restaurant-they had us doing the Macarena! Caribbean food restaurant was great seafood dishes and a nice spot for lunch. The room service was a treat-really lovely for breakfast. All staff were friendly and professional. Grounds are well kept clean as are the rooms. Loved having a good sized balcony with patio furniture. Not really partial t [... read more]o the jet tubs in the rooms. Only thing we did not like about this resort is the seaweed on the beach and in the water. It piles up quickly and smells even with workers diligently trying to remove it. We would have liked to be able to swim out more in the ocean but it was too rocky and wavy further out in the water.

Iberostar Waves Quetzal: My first time..and will not be my last!!!

I was at first sceptical on going but in all honesty it was amazing!! The hotel was beautiful!! The staff was amazing!! A few people that should be called out was our maid she made our room beautiful every morning including towels made into new animals and rose pedals 🥰 the front desk clerk Fernando was very helpful! The man that worked the bar in the lobby was amazing very high on detail and fast paced and sooo friendly! The animals in the “jungle” were friggen gorgeous and soothing and exhilarating and overall I still can’t believe how amazing this stay was! Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Amazingly friendly staff

Amazingly friendly staff, everything was very clean, the food was very good excellent selection and again I can't say enough good things about the entire staff. I really like that it was the last resort on the beach so when you went walking and you were away from all of the hotels and resorts which made it very pleasant and give you the effect that you were really truly away from the cities in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Triple A all the way.

Everything was perfect.The location,the staff,the rooms were well appointed and kept spotless,the food was excellent and a good choice was always available.I spent ten days at the Ibero Playa Mita with my three children and their spouses as well as my six grandchildren and everybody was very happy and satisfied.And God willing,we would like to return next year or the year after.The beach and the pools were well used by all as well as many sports activities.

Temptation Resort & Spa: Significant room issues but otherwise a great stay.

Good items to discuss: -Cleanliness was #1. Super service staff. -Other than front desk staff and management, absolutely great staff overall -Great party/sexy atmosphere. Great pool entertainment. -Fantastic patrons holidaying at the hotel -Overall, food was very good. Some great a-la-carte restaurants. -High level of visible security if anyone ever stepped out of line. -Great rock and roll band on Thursday afternoons. -Afternoon pool entertainment/Play Makers were excellent - Adequ [... read more]ate party and quiet areas for pools and beach -Overall, a lot of fun. Challenges: -Ordered a king-sized bed and was given 2 double beds. No help from the hotel or Trip Central. -Forced to upgrade and then had light and air-conditioning issues in the room. Very poor service. Front desk staff not interested in helping. -Resort is most interested in selling Time Shares or upgrades. When we didn't bite on the time share, we received poor service in the above issues. -Trip Central has to help out in these circumstances and despite us calling Trip Central, little was done. Please view our file. - Music at nights was all the same techno-bop every night. They have to look at the demographics and adjust the music accordingly.

TRS Coral: Great Vacation!

We spent 7 days and enjoyed every minute of it. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left the staff was great. We would especially like to acknowledge Miriam, Manuel, Lugo, Ceasar, Miron and Ricardo for making our vacation so awesome. Their service was impeccable. Sunscape Dorado Pacifico: Can do better

Sunscape is located on a beautiful beach. Some things could be improved. The rooms are small and a bit out dated. Instead of drawers, they have baskets to arrange in your clothes. The cupboard was super small. The washroom was a good size standing shower. The floors of the property were nice and clean. Ther are not enough restaurants. In the evenings, there was only 1 à la carte restaurant and the buffet available.( which was not even a full à la carte menu, you had to get your appetizer fr [... read more]om the buffet!!!) The food at the buffet was very limited by choice and very mediocre. The caravan snack was good but very busy at lunch. Janet the waitress over there was super nice!! The service was great. Staff was nice and smiley. The reception staff were less friendly than others, apart from Daniel who was super nice!! The Sunwing representative Orion was at the property every day and was very helpfull by getting us to check out later than noon. The pool is nice and big with 2 slides. The beach was amazing!!

Riu Flamingos: Lovely resort

Resort is very nicely laid out, it is not a large resort so everything is a short walk. Lobby very nicely decorated, staff were very helpful. Food choices were excellent in the main buffet for all meals. Not impressed with the 24 hour food selection in 24 sports bar. Grounds kept in great shape and there were always staff around keeping everything nice and clean everywhere. A little disappointed the mini fridge in room restocked every 2 days.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Not Luxury, Not 5 stars

The grounds are beautiful and the pools are nice (did not swim though, too cold) and the floor to ceiling windows in the buffet and Alux look nice. It ends there. We felt unwelcomed the entire stay. We stayed in the luxury superior penthouse with jacuzzi. The room is really dated and needs a good paint job and colorful art. It was so drabby. The AC is loud and there was a consistent screech every 20-30 seconds which we reported to the front desk but it didn't get looked after until 24 hr [... read more]s later by the butler! The jacuzzi is dated and kept draining away. Maintenance fixed it on the last night. Walls are thin, I'll leave that to your imagination what we heard. Beds were uncomfortable, but excruciating back and neck pain for days. Tons of food choices but average (despite Mexico's rep for great food). Trolley takes you to other resorts (BP Tulum, Akumal, Coba) - also beautiful grounds and lobby - beach at Tulum resort is full of weeds and there are bumps in the water to break the waves. Can't comment on other beach. Small casino with bar. Black Jack, poker, roulette and slot machines. 5 min taxi to Akumel is 270 pesos or 18$ USD. Akumel to Tulum 400 pesos.

Luna Palace: Quaint hotel with great service

Luna Palace is smaller than many of it's neighbors making it a charming place to stay. The staff are courteous, friendly and helpful. They made us feel like family. Luna Palace is centrally located on the beach in easy walking distance to all sorts of amenities and activities, great restaurants and bars. Lots of action on the beach, great food and a warm pool that hosts a number of poolside activities. Stunning ocean view from our 6th floor room. Housekeeping services were excellent. Sunscape Dorado Pacifico: Been Four Times

Because we had been too this resort a few times were told too Upgrade Too Sun Club Ocean view room we would get a upgrade to ocean front room. Arrived gave us a room with no view of ocean front and a broken door no latch looked kicked in. gave us another room and told by a wonderful porter named Freddie too come back tomorrow he would try too help get us a upgrade, he is awesome and definately a plus too the Hotel. Got a upgrade next day made our stay much happier. That said they do need too s [... read more]pend some money on room upgrades, locks door frames , bathroom renos. But too go there for the staff awesome, look up Simon and Carlos swim up bar they are the best, Look up Luis at pool bar young, English is fantastic we loved him and also Antonio Waiter at the main pool for drink,. Also love Victor and Aaron at the Lobby bar awesome guys and Marcelo from Sun Club Lounge These are extremely hard workers that have been there all the times we have been there, so we will go back just too see them.
