Hotel was just the right size, I liked limit of 3 floors in any accommodation building. Food was above average. Only suggestions I have: - have more chairs available at beach - train young entertainers to be less bossy and abrupt with paying guests. I had a couple bad experiences, one playing bingo, of all things. The young gal told me to be quiet, she was the boss, and other such comments. I told her I was the boss now and she should get back to work! Noisy around pool during day, could tone down the music and less exuberant Animation workers. If I heard "Oh, my God" being shouted one more time, I was going to ask God to wipe him out. ONe gal took a tally of how many times he said it, she stopped after 56!

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Amazing time

Had a fantastic time at our resort luxury Bahia principe ambar green! Food was great the grounds where kept continuously clean. The staff where great! Our favourite where Black Angel with his entertainment and Nonyo as our waiter at the buffet every day!! Thanks ambar green for the great week! Till the next time!

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Amazing resort

this resort is amazing, the staff can never do enough for you, the entertainment is the best, day and evening. The resort is clean the staff seam to have a lot of pride in their resort. the rooms are clean, the maid changed our towels every morning and made our bed, in the evening another maid would bring more fresh towels and turn down our bed, now that is being spoiled in my book..

Punta Cana Princess: Punta Cana Princess

We really liked the resort. It is a smaller facility with beautiful grounds and beach area. The food was very good including the order from menu restaurants. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Incredible beach walking, miles and miles and miles, we never found the ends. Definitely adults only, average age was in their 60's. The evening entertainment was almost non existent however and the staff outside the restaurants virtually spoke no English. Very few English TV channels.

Dreams Dominicus La Romana: Good as expected

Dreams Dominicus competes well with other 4-star resorts. We found the staff to be well trained and very helpful. Food was always well prepared, well displayed and consistently good. Having four evening restaurants besides the main restaurant gave plenty of variety at mealtime. Most food service staff are aware of food allergies (e.g., gluten) and make sure no guest suffers. However glitches occurred three times during our two-week stay with the server bringing a delicious salad or soup wit [... read more]h a bread stick or croutons. These dishes were promptly returned and fresh ones brought back. The buildings look marvelous and clean. Our suite was kept clean and well supplied with towels and beverages. The beach area is narrow for the number of guests. The cots are comfortable and in good shape. But they were lined up row on row limiting the sea view. Far too much sun for our taste, with more shaded in the Preferred Club area than in the general area. We spent most of our time near a quieter pool that had more shade. Alcohol beverages were promptly and generously poured with top shelf brands. Coco Cafe is a quiet retreat for coffee lovers. Here also the service was friendly. Suggestions for guests. Tip modestly but often - not only for good service but also to provide a better income for staff. Men, dress well to complement what your partner and other women are wearing. Engage staff in friendly conversation.

Casa Marina Sosua Trademark by Wyndham All Inclusive: always great!

Everything about this hotel is great. The location, cleanliness, food, service,. entertainment & value. The staff are friendly & accommodating, always with a warm greeting. I will always stay there when in Sosua.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Had a great time!

I loved this resort and would definately recommend this for everyone. We went to this resort with 4 other couples. We had all booked the royal golden package. We loved the location of our rooms. We were super close to the beach, pool, and restaurants. This was a great upgrade. The buffet was great, there is something for everyone. We cannot control [... read more] the wind but otherwise it was great. We spent most of the time at the main pool. It was awesome! The bars were great as well as the quick Buffet's at the pools. The entertainment was amazing. We wached 4 shows. The Lion King was my favorite. The staff all did a great job! My only complaint was the check in for the royal golden guest. We had all requested our restaurants in advanced and none were correct when we arrived. This proved difficult to correct but we managed with many calls and visits to this seperate office. There seemed to be some mis-commuication on their part and took some work to sort out. The office also had a very bad smell to it. Like a very moldy cellar. Also, we arrived at 11:30 and check in was at 3. They sent us to lunch but after that they offered us nothing. It would be nice to have had a room to get dressed in so that we could go to the beach or pool. We did this anyways on our own in the main lobby bathrooms. My husband forgot an expensive clothing article in the bathroom and did not get it back. This could have been easily prevented if they gave us a private place to do get dressed in until our room was ready. At 3 our room was still not ready. Despite the issues with the restaurants reservations and check in we had an amazing trip and would recommend this resort. Trip Central was amazing to deal with and I will definitely use them in the future.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Great hotel with some not so good points

The hotel bouganville(adult only side) was very nice and relatively quiet.Room was very clean, spacious and new.Grounds were meticulously well kept.Food was subpar however with buffets being bland and boring.You could find something to eat but not the greatest.Went out to Alacart and was very disappointed with the service.Placed order and waited a full hour and ten minutes to get it.Come on...Language was bad as I don’t think anyone knew or understood the English language.I know it is their c [... read more]ountry however a little basic English lessons to their staff would go a long way.Location was one hour twenty minute shuttle to airport.No where close to shop except in hotel only.Quite pricey.Cleaning staff were quite noisy in the halls talking to each other in loud echoing voices sometimes twenty rooms apart.This is an adult only bloc and you would think kids were running and playing in the halls.

Casa Marina Reef Resort: Good Resort

Over all my husband and I enjoyed the resort it was very clean and all the staff there very courteous and helpful. The only issue that we had was we asked for the second floor and was put on the ground floor and we had constant water coming through the floor in our bathroom.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Punta cana bavaro resort

New hotel just opened this January 2018. All is new but workmanship is mediocre ; plaster on doors, tub surround not attached... Service at the bars was slow, even as a diamond club member. Otherwise, the diamond club was worth it with our own pool, bar, butler,breakfast restaurant, lounge and area of the beach. Even spent a day at nearby Memories Splash wich was included with Diamond club. The spa is way to expensive and pushy salesmen throughout the resort trying to sell spa services, and v [... read more]endors on beach too. The beach in bavaro is beautiful. The food is good, I've had better, Zen and Hunter restaurant were best. Overall, nice and new. Lazy river was nice, fun. Don't have to walk far for anything (small resort)

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Excellent Resort!

Everything was very clean, including the rooms, bathroooms, etc. The staff were very friendly. The food was great! Everything was easy access to the beach and the amenities. Would highly recommend it.

Excellence Punta Cana: Excellence Punta Cana

We really enjoyed our stay there. The grounds were well maintained and beautiful. The restaurants were amazing as was the staff. Everything was exceptional. The shows at night were also very entertaining.

Ocean Blue and Sand: Friendly Staff

Great staff and always very helpful. The grounds were very well kept and the room was very clean. It was great that every evening you had a choice of either the buffet or one of the a la carte restaurants. No reservation required except for the Japanese . Unfortunately you had to reserve on the current day at 11 am. And we were never able to get a reservation after 3 or 4 tries we gave up.

Secrets Cap Cana: Secrets Cap Cana Resort and Spa

My husband I went here for our 15 Anniversary just last week and it surpassed all of our expectations! What a beautiful and romantic resort. The hospitality and service was incredible! Every single employee you come into contact with totally made the experience even better! The beach is cleaned daily and simply gorgeous. This was the honeymoon we never had and we had high expectations and we were impressed on every level. Definitely will be booking with Secrets again! If we had to pick one drawback it was being in building one overlooking a new resort being built next door. So if you want a view, make sure you don't pick building one. Specify beach, pool or ocean view. But even that didn't dampen our stay in the least. Thank you to all the staff at Secrets Cap Cana for a honeymoon/anniversary that we'll never forget!

Even though the resort is big because of its beautifully kept grounds and well thought out layout it is very easy and comfortable to get around. For those able bodied, the walk anywhere (restaurants, pools, beach etc.) is within a 10 minute distance. The resort does offer regular tram service to every area. The people working there are friendly and responsive. The big variety of food was plentiful and tasteful. The only advise that I have for the resort management is, that they should be mor [... read more]e generous with their actions instead of just paying lip service to the fact that they respect and acknowledge loyalty from repeat customers.

Riu Republica: Very large resort!

Very clean resort, food was fantastic. On the Website the package details indicates that Spring Break/Student Group Policies: Student Groups (either groups of individuals, regardless of age) are not allowed at any RIU property, at any time during the year. This is absolutely false advertisement, we were at the resort from March 1st to March 8th, 2018 and the resort was 80% of students because of the March break. I was disappointed, could not relax, they were very loud.

Sunscape Puerto Plata: Great Resort- Sun Club ???

We just returned last week- this is a fantastic resort. Our room was the size of a small condo close to the beach- perfect location. Everything was great- the staff, the food, cleanliness the grounds, the beach and the restaurants. We upgraded to the Sun club and were some what disappointed - not in the amenities but the lack of monitoring on who was using them. This resort does not use bracelets so "in my opinion" anyone could these these facilities and i'm sure it was being abused. Once t [... read more]his issue is addressed I would not hesitate to re-book the Sun Club (I am a repeat customer). We have been to Puerto Plata 10 times previous and this resort is our favorite. The hotel staff was quick to address any issues we had- just a great holiday.

Ocean Blue and Sand: Great staff and good value

This was our second trip to Ocean Blue and Sand. Staff are exceptional. Very helpful, professional and friendly. Service is very good . The grounds and pool area are very well kept and the rooms are clean and nicely appointed. Beach was in good shape but a bit crowded for us so we stayed at the pool. The pool area could use more umbrellas. Food is generally good but not as consistent as last year. Our favoriates being the Japanese and Italian. Rooms were nice and the dinning was amazing great food and great people very friendly and fun resort great for adults and kids many different themes every night and different activities!! Beautiful beach and pools!!
