Ocean Coral Spring: Beautiful resort

The grounds were beautiful as well as the rooms and the restaurants. The food was good although they should have beef patties at the buffet everyday. Staff could have been a little friendlier. Evening shows were nice. I loved the live band and dancing outside after the show. The singer at the piano bar is amazing!

Ocean Coral Spring: Horrible Experience

The grounds are very nice, but the hotel is new and falling apart, the service was terrible. No one was polite and it was as if we were inconveniencing them whenever we asked for anything. 20+min to get a drink or food and it wasn't even crowded. I would not recommend this hotel and we were a group of 11people that will not be coming back.

Azul Beach Resort Negril: Beautiful resort on 7 mile beach

The grounds were beautiful and there were several pools throughout the resort, each one had a swim up bar. The resort has 3 al carte restaurants asian, Italian and Caribbean they were all excellent, they had a couple of beach grills where you could get panini’s or burgers or Jamaica patties. The beach was beautiful and you had to get up early to get chairs or pay the pool or towel guy to reserve for you! Entertainment was okay typical of most resorts!

Beaches Negril Resort and Spa: Beautiful beach, average facilities and food

My family and I stayed at Beaches Negril the week of Feb 13/2023. We booked a concierge room with "beachfront views". Upon arrival to our room in the Santa Cruz block we found our "beachfront view" obliterated by a construction site where a new building is being constructed. There is another new building being built at the other end of site property in front of the Montpelier block similarly blocking the ocean views - no where on the Beaches website does it indicate there is any construction goi [... read more]ng on which I would consider as almost dishonest. One of their nicer restaurants shown on their website, the Venetian, is closed for renovations and instead they allocated a portion of the seating in the buffet area of the Mill for diners wanting to partake of the Venetian menu. Again, not one mention of this on their website. As for the food experience, it is just OK, certainly not 5 star gourmet dining. By way of example, the scallops served on the resort ( had them twice) are the size of the nail on my pinky finger, and the PEI scallops are the smallest I've ever seen served at a restaurant. The beach is beautiful, the pool and kids waterpark is very well done, the grounds are well maintained and most of the people working there are lovely. Overall we had a good time, but this is NOT a 5 star resort as they promote themselves (it's maybe a 3.5 out of 5) - they need to be more truthful about current conditions on the property so people can make informed decisions about booking their vacation.

Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Beautiful resort

The resort was absolutely beautiful. The rooms and hotel were kept clean. Staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make your stay wonderful. Beach is stunning, clear calm water. Food was excellent! The only downside is you have to stand in line to get in the a la carte restaurants. They should allow you to make a reservation. I would definitely recommend this resort.

Riu Reggae: Fantastic Experience

The Riu Reggae in Montego Bay, Jamaica was an absolute delight. We traveled with 3 couples. Food, entertainment, drinks, water sports all provided a broad range of appeal. Probably one of the best buffets we've experienced and we go all over the Caribbean for all-inclusive resorts! Booking this vacation with TripCentral made it really easy. We took advantage of some special offers and we really appreciated the great email communications that were personalized. Great job TripCentral!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great vacation

The hotel was as described (a 4+ star). The rooms were clean and well maintained. The grounds were beautiful. The staff was friendly. We wandered around the resort quite a bit (it's a big place) and noticed that certain areas and floors were being renovated and you can tell they are constantly fixing and updating things.

Riu Reggae: Amazing Resort

The hotel is boutique style layout with lounges and restaurants surrounding the centre. The entertainment is fun something for everyone and the food is outstanding. You will want for nothing specially if you enjoy Jamaican cooking but if not lots of the meats and dishes. Staff ate great, rooms and resort are spotless specially washroom and beach. Keep in mind this is a Bay so don’t expect long stretch of beach but lovely for swimming snorkelling lounging and no need to fight for a lounge chai [... read more]r. I will definitely return to any of the Rui resorts. Also only 10 minutes from the airport which is so important when travelling.

Azul Beach Resort Negril: Fantastic vacation! We highly recommend this resort! Minimum 4.5 ***

We cannot say enough positive things regarding this resort. Although a bit dated, everything was spotless, functional and constantly being cleaned or maintained. Our focus is the water, and the gently waves in the ocean were terrific to float in. We also had a deluxe swim up room with a great view of the ocean which we used quite a bit. It afforded ready access to the swim up bar, so within seconds we could refill our drinks. Now for the best part, the people at the resort. Everyone was friendly, helpful and would go out of their way to assist if asked. Including when it was not their duties. They either assisted or immediately found someone who could. Employees we regularly interacted with quickly started greeting us by name as did we. Special shout out to Antoinette at the swim up bar, we and others kept her hopping and she only had smiles and great banter in response to our silly antics. Natalie (concierge) checked on us at least once a day to ensure we were enjoying ourselves and whether we needed anything. After the first morning the hostess at the palms where we had breakfast each day greeted us by our first names and made us welcome (I am embarrassed that while there and till now could not wrap my head around remembering her name). As above, we look for a vacation where we spend most of the time relaxing in the ocean or pool, not overly noisy/busy, yet with a little bit of entertainment here and there to enjoy when the mood strikes us. This resort was firing on all cylinders for our tastes. Nothing is ever completely perfect, so I would put the Azul at 4.5 heading towards 5 stars

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Beautiful resort and beaches

The beaches were great at the palladium especially Sunset Cove. We particularly enjoyed not having to reserve restaurants except for the hibachi so we ate at a different restaurant every night. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Riu Ocho Rios: Good for big families

This hotel is very big, there is lots of things to get involved with. If your looking to do excursions this is the perfect location. Not a fan of the Renovations I liked the way the place was before them.

Riu Negril: Amazing resort

My family and I just came back from our vacation and we loved this resort. We are beach people and we spent the majority of our holidays catching some sun on the beach and enjoying the beautiful waters in negril. The rooms are a little outdated but everything else in the resort was perfection. The food was plentiful with lots of variety, the entertainment crew was great especially Miguel very funny guy! Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful Resort

We found the hotel to be very clean, the grounds were kept very well. You can tell that they are working to improve and update their facilities. Our room was always clean and tidy and we had facecloths and towels. I requested 2 extra towels and received them daily during our stay. The minibar was always restocked. The buffet was good, always lots of choices. I noticed that there were managers in the buffet area that kept an eye on utensils, to ensure that things were kept clean. Staff were fri [... read more]endly. We like cream in our coffee but there was no cream available at all at this resort, which was disappointing. The beach areas were kept well, the west beach was our favorite but care must taken to walk in where it is not so rocky. Beach bars were well stocked and there was jerk chicken and pork and extras available at the west beach during lunch time, if you didn't want to leave the beach to go to the restaurant.

Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: Repeat Guests

First visit since Covid Have been to this resort over 20 times, Beautiful gardens, quaint cottages, wonderful staff Disappointed in food selection for the first time in all our visits-- but then got an update on the kitchen staff-- the executive chef had given notice and left late fall and no replacement hired when we were vacationing. Ocean Coral Spring: Excellent resort, but SLOW service.

Excellent food! Had absolutely everything you’d want. Their Jamaican jerk sauce was fire! Excellent pool! Excellent entertainment! Very friendly staff! Cool extras like lazy River and bowling lanes. Beach is even better than we expected. Disco was active! Children’s splash pad was incredible! Two massive shortcomings - coffee shop was subpar for what I’ve seen at other places and service is SLOW. But with 2 kids it just made dinners unenjoyable as they would get tired and were ready for bed before the dinner would even be served. Drinks at dinner were so slow I even went over to the sports bar to get drinks for my wife and I one night as they hadn’t arrived after one hour of initial order. Having said that… food was worth the wait. We went to al of the a la cartes - the ribs and brisket at Route 66 were to die for! The butter chicken at the Indian restaurant was delicious! Our server even made a special spicy sauce with bonnet peppers on the side for us that was awesome! The tapanyaki spot was excellent. Great service and funny chef! But it is hot in there with poor AC and only 2 fans. Italian and sugar cane were okay. Overall, I’d go again but the service was truly painfully slow, especially with kids.

Privilege was a rip off, only benefit was not paying for room service. Only one day we received service on the beach. Our butler was little to no help. Found a BIG cockroache hiding in our room. Not the best...

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Huge resort with amazing staff!

The resort was huge, lots to explore! There's about 3 beaches, the pool area is huge and thetre area. Even though it was busy, it didn't feel crowded. Staff are always driving around in golf carts to assist and take you from one end to another. Food was great and always replenished while staff happily served and explained what they put in their dishes. Staff around the resort is always smiling, willing to assist, converse and are grateful for tourists. Two in particular went above and bey [... read more]ond with their services, Greggory Shaw and Sherri Gaye White. They always put a smile on our faces! I would definitely consider coming back here.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Bahia Principe Grand Experience

My stay at the Grand was a nice relaxing experience. They have entertainment daily for the whole family. Tiffany and her entertainment crew was rememberable. Many of the servers were friendly. Some acted odd due the expectation of tips. Race may have played a role in service as we are black and Jamaican decent, but I chose not to allow those interactions to skew my viewpoint on my experience. Ocean Eden Bay: Great resort

Grounds were very clean and well kept. Rooms excellent. Big. Well stocked. Shower excellent. Jacuzzi bath. Very convenient to pool, beach and restaurants. Didn’t have to reserve restaurants, which was nice.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Best vacay so far!

This resort is always being maintained and cleaned. Very large pools and plenty of chairs. Beach is small but private and protected from the ocean. I snorkeled a few times during my stay in shallow calm waters and was amazed at what I saw. The buffet had lots of great choices and we absolutely loved the jerk. All the staff are friendly and helpful and provide regular day and night entertainment. We love to see new places but I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.
