Barcelo Maya Palace: Beautiful resort
Huge resort, very clean , beautiful, pretty modern nice and open would definitely recommend to friends, great food , adult pool section was also great.. quiet and calm....peaceful resort !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hyatt Vivid Grand Island: Great resort!
The food at the specialty restaurants and the beach club was great. Nice rooms as well. Beach club is off site but well worth the 8 minute shuttle. We loved the resort! We would recommend to friends and would also return.
Barcelo Maya Tropical: Very nice resort
Advantage of this resort is the access to other resorts and restaurants of Barcelo Maya. Nice, clean, high level service, everyone could find activities by their needs. Our room in Tropical was outdated and needs some fixing.
Armony Marival Resort and Spa Punta de Mita: Amazing place to spend vacations
We enjoyed 7 days all-inclusive in Armony resort. Beautiful nature, delicious food (a lot of choices), comfort and luxury and very friendly staff. Great memories of nice long walks along the ocean on soft sand. No weeds in very clean water and the water was pleasantly warm. Every day we could watch whales playing in the bay, turtles on the beach, pelicans and other little birds and fish in the water. Surprisingly no mosquitos or any other flies. No humidity. However, there are big waves on the [... read more]
Sandos Playacar Beach Resort: Overall an amazing gem in Playacar
This is our first all inclusive experience and Sandos Playacar definitely put a high bar for us. Food - great selections from buffet to ala carte options. If you could book the ala carte restaurant right after you get your room number please do so as they booked up pretty fast. We are lucky to have been able to try all of their ala carte restaurants by booking them in their Sandos App and walk in on others as they were fully booked when we get there. Walk in aren’t guaranteed but its worth the s [... read more]
Dreams Sapphire Resort and Spa: Wasn't as good as looked
People were very nice...food very mediocre....no bath tub service was very slow pool was freezing Japanese restaurant was very good the kids also really enjoyed the entertainment and dancing at night they went to kids club alot and enjoyed that
Riu Latino: Just ok!
Booking with Trip Central was smooth. Self serve at Ottawa airport was great. Flight - cramped seats with no padding. Please bring back Elite program Transfer to hotel was ok, no beverages offered. Check-in at hotel was ok although they did not respect the lines, one line for RiU club class, one line for guests that were already registered. People lined up wherever. ROOMS: very clean, room could use additional furniture such as desk. The fridge was well stocked. Plenty of clothes hange [... read more]
The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Lush and peaceful
Loved the forest setting, multiple pool choices, the main square where food is served and entertainment provided. Resort is clean, staff very friendly! Great choice of restaurants with very good food!
Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Great resort
I visited this resort 18yrs ago, I must say not much has changed, just some fresh paint. We really enjoyed it again. Everything is clean, staff are friendly and helpful and the food was great. I only have one complaint, the à la carte booking was ridiculous having to line up early in the morning just to try to book and you could only book for the day of. The recommended App did not work. We never ate at an à la carte as I was not wasting a few hours of our holiday standing in line.
The Reef 28 Playa del Carmen: Great Hotel!
Staff was unreal with really good service, food was pretty good with 3 restaurant options on site (Asian and Italian rotate). Great option if you are ok leaving the hotel and checking out the city. Feels pretty safe on 5th Avenue (tourist market street) and only a 5 minute walk from the public beach.
Dreams Riviera Cancun: Nice resort Great if you have kids
It was a bit cold when we arrived, so we didn’t get the chance to use the pool, although some guests were still swimming. The hotel itself is nice and fairly basic, but the rooms are comfortable and well kept. We had a balcony with an ocean view, which made the stay very relaxing. The food was good overall. There isn’t a dedicated entertainment area, so any entertainment takes place on the stairs near the main bar. The spa was enjoyable, though some areas of the resort could use updating. Overa [... read more]
Riu Santa Fe: 3.5*
The resort was beautiful and clean. Checking in was easy. The staff were very polite and actually quite amazing. We had a staff member bring our bags to our room and get us ice, he was very pleasant. We had to call to have our coffee and water replenished in our room, I’ve never had to do this. Restaurants were mediocre to good except for the Italian restaurant, it was buffet style and very low grade, we left to eat elsewhere. On our last day I called at 7:00 am for someone to come at 9:30 [... read more]
Riu Santa Fe: Beautiful resort

Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All Inclusive: Great resort!
Travelled with husband and 9year old son. Looking for cleanliness and quiet and it delivered on both. Great breaky/lunch buffet - fresh and changed up daily so it didn’t get boring. Staff very friendly and helpful in every way. Dinner reservations needed and easily done through concierge. Lots of options for pools and beach loungers. Never had to look for a spot ever. Awesome kids club 10am-10pm and great variety of activities/performances! Felt safe and clean and all around amazing 9 day experi [... read more]
Occidental Cozumel: Very tranquil resort
Was recommended by a friend who visited 9yrs ago Room was very clean n bed were very comfortable. Ground had beautiful flourish n well maintained Workers friendly Absolutely recommend. And will probably be back. Quiet night life
Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Amazing
The hotel is great. Always clean and friendly. The suite was fabulous including the welcome bottle of wine and the flowers. All the staff is friendly, polite and ready to help you all times. Only concern is the resort has far too many sets of stairs which is very hard for a person like me with mobility issues. The a la cart restaurants are amazing.
Las Palmas by the Sea: Amazing Resort
Very clean everywhere. Always seemed like they were mopping or sweeping. Rooms were clean. Love the staff. Very friendly and welcoming. Loved the food, quite a variety everyday. The beach was very accessible and clean.
Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Awesome resort
Best resort In cancun! Great staff food and facilities, highly likely to go back. It is a great resort, especially if you have a family because the slides are amazing. The food was fantastic! One of the best buffets. Also, a huge place for me was the fact that you didn’t have to make any reservation reservations for the restaurants. This just made life so much easier.
El Cozumeleno Beach: Would not recommend
I must say, I was disappointed in this resort. I found the food and alcohol to be substandard. The pool area is shaded a good portion of the day, the pool is ice cold, the beach is very rocky and the waves are so strong there was a red flag up all week indicating a strong undertow, not recommended for swimming. The house cleaning came daily but never removed any dirty dishes from the room.
Ocean Maya Royale: Another Great Visit...only one glitch
This was our 4th visit to Ocean Maya Royale, and it didn’t disappoint once we sorted out the room during check in. Last year when we left, we received a letter indicating a room upgrade if we came again within the year, which we did. When I inquired by email about what kind of upgrade we could expect and request certain locations on the property to stay, Luis indicated that "they would be happy to offer us a Privilege Junior Suite". We were surprised, but looked forward to a new experience. [... read more]
