The Royal at Atlantis: Atlantis in Paradise
Stayed in the Coral Towers. Went to the Atlantis for PokerStars tournament. Happy to say that we went out to enjoy the many beach areas and the water park. It was a blast! Tried snorkeling from the beach (waste of time), on a tour boat (okay) and at the lagoon at Atlantis on the last day (best of the snorkeling that week). The meals and drinks are very expensive on Paradise Island. We managed cost by bringing some food in our luggage and had some meals in Nassau. The ferry/water taxi doesn't fol [... read more]
Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Nice resort !
The Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach Hotel was nice, staff was very helpful and accommodating, Jedda at front desk went out of her way to get us a room for a few hours so our little one could nap before we left for the airport, Ricardo the Bellman was very nice and personable, they and all the rest of the staff were great. Pool and beach area were awesome, great views, big size pool and beach was so long you could walk forever and the sand was amazing like walking in white flour it was that soft. The [... read more]
Riu Palace Paradise Island: Amazing Resort...
The food is 5 out of 5, cannot get better food. The buffet dinners beat most other resorts A LA CARTE.... The beach was beautiful and the rooms were good. Each room had its own drink dispensers so if the bar was full, you had in room options. The staff was nice as well.. We had no water for 2 nights from midnight to 8am; by morning they got it working again. Right next to Atlantis resort so that is a huge positive for many reasons.
Riu Palace Paradise Island: Great Time
Food was excellent, staff was very friendly and helpful. They never expected tips. Everything was great. There wasn't much nightlife there but you can just walk over to Atlantis next door for that which was very convenient.
Riu Palace Paradise Island: not a five star
this resort has a great location but is a old building in great need of upgrades . the rooms where damp and smelly ( remember you only sleep in the room ) . staff was very friendly and helpful but the meals where just brutal . i would give this a three ( and half ) star because of the location ad staff only.
Breezes Bahamas: Very courteous staff .. Very clean resort
Rooms clean , and upgraded .. Food at main lounge all right .... Pool bar closes at 6pm , instead of 24 hour service ... Club hurricane , min standard ... Restaurants at hotel very good , staff very polite ......
Memories Grand Bahama: Awesome resort!
I took my daughter to Memories Grand Bahama resort for five days to have a mother and daughter quality time last December for five days and we had a great time there as the resort was in a perfect area!
Memories Grand Bahama: Average Expectations
We were disappointed with some aspects of our stay at this hotel. Upon our mid morning arrival, we were told we would not have access to our rooms until 3:00 p.m. We were advised to select comfortable clothing from our suitcases and change in the washroom and return to the front desk in 4 hours to pick up our room keys. After being up since 1 a.m. the last thing we wanted to hear was that we could not gain access to our rooms until 3:00. This was the case for everyone arriving from Ottawa. Not a [... read more]
Sandals Royal Bahamian: amazing resort
We went for our honeymoon and everything was beautiful. The room were so clean. I could not believe that the staff came to clean the room three times a day. The staff was very friendly. The food was delicious. I have never been to a resort where the food was consistently good at each restaurant.
Breezes Bahamas: a fun and fulfilling resort
Overall had a great experience. Staff was amazing and friendly. Amenities were sufficient for what is needed and room was clean. Only complaints were that we wished they offered more than one choice of beer, and that the rooms had fridges or at least came with complimentary water. That aside we had a great experience and would definitely return.
Memories Grand Bahama: Average resort
Very clean resort. Closer to shopping. Pools were great never had problem with pool chairs or towels. Always enough. Staff were amazing they were very helpful with any demand. The food was not as great and the check in process needs some changes. You can't let people arrival at 10am and get stranded in the lobby until 3pm. Some of us wanted to go our rooms and have a nap after getting up so early fit the flight.
Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Sun Wing Representatives ruined the whole vacation
The sunwing representatives Gustavo and Tiffany Webb ruined our vacation from the very first hour. The guy who loads the luggage on the bus at the airport broke the handle of our suitcase and threw it in the garbage container. Instead of fixing the problem with the damaged luggage, we had to line up to talk to Tiffany Webb about it every morning while we were staying at the hotel. Nothing has been done for seven days of our staying there. We called Gustavo a few times and he said that there is a [... read more]
Melia Nassau Beach Resort: Amazing food
So I was there for 3 days and 4 nights during Christmas was not told that there was renovations going on at the resort. The pool bar was closed, the hot tub did not work, the rooms look like a regular hotel room which needs up grading, many dislikes but the food was amazing can not complain about that will not stay there again.
Memories Grand Bahama: Not good memoriee
Our room was disgusting. One word. Carpet. The minute we walked in our room the carpet smelled, was damp and just looked old. The bathroom was so tiny. It took 3 flushes to get everything down and smelled of urine in the entire bathroom. The shower was hot! But the shower itself looked gross and not clean. As for the resort itself outside the room was overall nice, food was good, steakhouse was amazing. I would not go back though.
Riu Palace Paradise Island: A good vacation
The good: small resort, everything like pool, beach and restaurant near by. Food is really really good for a four star. Not so good: customer service isn't so great. You can tell staff are busy so you don't get the individual care. Beach is public so it's noisy with jet skis and people constantly trying to sell you stuff. Rooms are clea but really damp. The carpet floor was damp!
Memories Grand Bahama: Great Family Resort
This resort has it all; great food, friendly staff, comfortable beds and the best beach in Freeport. The vacationers were almost all from Canada - which made the stay friendly and relaxed. The activities were fun and inclusive. Great value!
Riu Palace Paradise Island: Fun Time With Family
This was our second year in a row at the RIU over Christmas time. The best thing about the RIU is all inclusive & affordable for Nassau & Paradise Island. Rooms were clean & tidy.. excellent breakfast, so-so lunch, dinners were terrible.
Melia Nassau Beach Resort: Great resort
This is a great resort to kick back and relax. Not flashy but clean and good quality. The staff are very helpful and go out of their way to please. The beach is superior to many we've seen - overall a great value!
Pelican Bay: Pelican Bay on Grand Bahama Island
We booked a king size bed suite at Pelican Bay for 7 days. We were very impressed with the space we had--a separate bedroom with a double closet, a kitchenette with a frig, microwave, some utensils, coffee machine, spacious sitting area, also a balcony with a beautiful view. There is a great breakfast included every morning with an omelet of your choice. The staff are very friendly. The special touch is a basket with fruit and muffins left every morning in a slot in your front door. If you are lo [... read more]
Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Fantastic location for family holiday
This is a clean and comfortable resort that caters to families. The price more than matches the provisions. I would go again for a relaxing holiday in a friendly environment. Is a distance from any other activities so you need to rent a car if you want to go to town as taxi is very costly. But everything is here so you don't need to travel anywhere else. Recommended.
