Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Amazing resort

Everything was amazing. It was our first time at an all-inclusive resort and it exceeded our expectations. The staff were amazing and the activities were so fun. The beach area was fenomenal you could see a lot of different fish.

We just spent 7 days at the Grand Aquamarine in Punta Cana. I have been to many all inclusives over the years, and the Aquamarine (adults only) ranks as one of the best. The grounds are great. The room (after an upgrade to poolview) was fabulous. The quiet end of the pool where we hung out was chill. The food was good, however, a bit of a challenge as my wife and I are vegan. We could manage to find choices in the buffet and did alright at the restaurants. The language barrier (we don't speak  [... read more]spanish) made it a challenge to ensure that what we were served was in fact vegan. But that is the struggle of a vegan and it is not in anyway a bad mark on the resort. The staff at all levels was friendly and very helpful and welcoming. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back for another week.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Had a good time

The hotel has a lot of amenities, restaurants pool beaches, and they are very close to one another. You don't have to walk too much to get around. The food is good, lots of variety. I liked the French restaurant.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Very Enjoyable Vacation!

Beach was great, clean and gets top marks. Resort is one of several bunched together and busy during peak times. Best choice is to go adult only. Restaurant staff are great in Portofina and Rodizio. Aquamarine needs to improve on more English-speaking staff in key places - like front desk. One staff member to definitely single out is assistant manager Kevin Mars - professional, caring and treats you like family. I was just out here in November with my friends and family for my 40th birthday celebrations. Great resort, highly recommend. Everyone is super friendly and accommodating. The silent disco was my daughters favourite

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Excellent Resort

The accommodations were excellent. Top notch. The food was beautifully presented and delicious in all of the restaurants. The service was fabulous. The coffee bar was a real treat. The beach was wonderful. Our only complaint is that the music was too loud every where and overlapped from the pool to the restaurants. It was difficult to have a conversation and became very tiresome and annoying. Overall, beautiful place and would highly recommend.

I had the greatest vacation staying at the Bahia Principe Luxury Ambar resort. The grounds, restaurants and employees were all top notch,our every need and request was completely satisfied with nothing but huge smiles. Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Do not recommend

Transport from airport: good Reception: unorganized and deceptive Reservation was incorrect Rooms: 1 was old and dirty, 1 had cockroaches. 1 had to be upgraded because it was dirty. Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Loved it!

Everything was perfect, people so helpful, only negative was our room had no door on the bathroom, took getting used to for sure as I was travelling with my sister. Christian the sous chef at meat was outstanding as well as Miguel at the beach!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great Time and pampered

Traveled here many times and are Loyalty Clients now . Check in quick but no drink , off to second story room we requested , no bath robes or usual extras in fridge or wine [ was expecting] ! Meals and staff were usual stand out and a primary reason to go to this resort ~ 5 Star Luxury. We spent a lot of time at Akumal Resort which has been updated . Beach Bar excellent , Coffee Bar the best , staff service was excellent . The new Corellas Adult buffet needs better seating and Lounge music . Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Beautiful resort: exactly what we needed

My husband and my three adult sons stayed at the Bahia Principe Luxury Ambar from Dec. 15 - 22, 2023. We stayed in the "Swim up pool" rooms and right in front of the pool. It was so nice to be able to sit outside in the morning and watch the day unfold and then to unwind at the end of the day before our dinner reservations. Bahia Principe Explore Coba: A Great Vacation at an Amazing Resort

Our stay at Bahia Principe Grand Coba was a pleasure and fun filled. The entertainment team did a great job keeping the guests active and involved. Staff was friendly and helpful. The kids club staff was caring and responsible for the kids while left in their care be it for small intervals of time or the full-day. The only downside was language barrier for non Spanish/Mexican speaking guests. There were good Food options to cater to all dietary needs, however the Resort should consider having [... read more] a dedicated area for pure vegetarian/vegans where the likely hood of contaminating it with use of shared spoons and tongs between veg and non-veg dishes at the counter. As a first timer on an All Inclusive Vacations, Overall it was a Great vacation experience with all my basic transportation arrangements pre-arranged. Would definitely recommend trip central.ca to friends and families.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Loved the resort!

Having a travel agent really helped with the booking process which I loved. Thank you Erin Thunder for making that process super easy and convenient. The resort was amazing. It was very beautiful and clean. The staff was really nice especially the entertainment team. They made my stay at the resort memorable.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Awesome Resort

The resort grounds and buildings were beautiful. There were so many great options for restaurants. The food was incredible and the service very good. Our room in building 26 on the Luxury side of the resort was very large and comfortable with an impressive view of the Ocean from the moment you open the door. It definitely is worth the bit extra to have ocean view. The evening entertainment was ok with various acts each night like Violin or piano and or singer plus a main show that is about  [... read more]an hour. Most nights afterwards there was a Karaoke sports bar to fall back to. The resort is quite large so it's great for walking and the beaches ranged from ok to good depending on what you are used to. The Bahia ap is convenient to book and keep track of your reservations as well as for speeding up check-in and for self check out. Don Pablo's and The Knife restaurants were probably my favourites, but the Japanese and Asian were both really good also. For Lunch Jazmin, the Round Island, and Las Olas were all great. Pisces was ok and convenient. All had views of the ocean while dining. For day bars Coconuts on the beach was the best with waiter service on the beach being a nice Luxury we enjoyed.

The resort itself is beautiful but the rooms are far from 5 star standards. Food was so so but very poor service at a la carte restaurants. The entertainment was so weak. During a week, we had only one real show. The rest was only live music in lobby. Usually one person playing violin. The drinks are water and sugar. The location is not the best since it’s very far from cities and shops outside of resort. For this reason, the excursions start very early in morning (6:30 am!). Public washrooms were frequently without toilet paper. -staff has Limited English -Francisco supervisor on Aquamarine resort was very supportive -baby monkeys on neck leashes on beach for tourists to pay for photo was difficult to see. Please don’t support this inhumane act - amazing beach

Great service, great staff, great food, clean rooms, lots to do. The shuttle service between resorts is usually pretty quick and convenient. You will need to wait a little bit longer during peak times... Dinner and evening entertainment... But you expect that because everyone is trying to move around at the same time. This is my review of our stay from Dec 16-23 i would 1st say if you can get Club Mobay make sure you do as it save so much time. I then would suggest a private transfer so you are not waiting on the bus for who knows how many people. we used Garreth Brown from get on board tours which was the best, best prices and with the price you get a drink included. The rooms in Building 18 are completely renovated and are amazing. The pools- the pools are a little cold when you 1st get in but otherwise are amazing and swim up bar is the best. The staff make sure pool is clean every morning, we would be down by the pool by 830 am and no problem getting a chair to sit on. Beach- the grand side beach is so large and never hard to find a spot to sit, the beach is well taken care of and little to no rocks going into the ocean and the ocean water is very warm as we spent a morning in the ocean well it was raining. they have a beach bar and also the jerk shack that is a must try. entertainment staff- All I can say is they are the nicest and most outgoing people you will meet at the resort restaurants- buffets are well stocked and so many choices to pick from and always easy to find food you want. a la carte Restaurants- the knife-food was very good but the timing of getting food could be better as it took over 1 hour to get are main dishes Dolce vita(italian cuisine) the service was amazing and the food was very good and good size meals Mikado- the service was again amazing and the food was so good and was fun having it cooked in front of you Bars- service at times were slow but they are all so happy to serve drinks and lots of choices. i would say not to pay for the luxury side unless you don't want to be around kids if that is the case then go to adult only resort. For this resort most things are on the Grand side, the resort is big not hard to walk around in a short time. They have the shopping area on property called the village and you can get everything you need from there. We never checked out the disco as we stayed at the karaoke bar which is in the main lobby of the grand side. So for the people that bitch and complain about this resort i am not sure why as we have always stayed at Sandals resorts before this and I would go back to this resort. not all elevators work but not a big deal, so if you are on the fence about this resort becasue of the people that complain about the smallest inconveniences DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM go and have a great time as they must be a little to entitled for this resort then.

Bahia Principe Explore Legend: Perfect Family Getaway

We are a family of 4; parents, toddler, and grandmother who travelled to Fantasia Punta Cana in December 2023 the week before Christmas. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone travelling with young children. There were shows geared towards kids every evening, and there were little surprises around the property every day for kids to enjoy. The kids club was wonderful and the pools and water features were perfect for little ones. The staff were always friendly and responsive to any and all requests. The property is well maintained and clean. The beach was fantastic and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this resort.
