Dreams Huatulco: Dream vacation at the Dreams Huatulco!

Our group of 11 had our second trip to the Dreams Huatulco, Mexico. It was a beautiful week. The resort staff, the service, food, cleanliness, and the atmosphere was amazing. A special shout out to our favourite pool side waitress Primi!! The resort was filled to capacity and yes, there were a few little glitches because of this, but nothing that would change our feelings about this great place. We are planning to return again next March

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Nice, but missing something

There was much that was great about this resort: the food; the adult pool; the family pool; the pool bars; the dive centre (excellent!). The downsides included the a/c odor that seems to prevail in the rooms -- clearly outdated a/c system, as they are LOUD. The last thing I would say is that management took three tries to get our reservations correct (double beds for boys; king bed for my wife and I), even though we had to pay extra with the reservation for this.

Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa: Felt like royalty!

From the moment we walked through the front doors, we were treated like a King and Queen. We were absolutely in awe of how beautiful and clean the resort was. The restaurants were amazing and the food 5 star!!! The staff works tirelessly to keep this resort in tip top shape and also to ensure that your needs are always met. We were blown away at how friendly and hard working they were. They are the biggest reason why we will be back!

Dreams Huatulco: Food quality very poor

The resort was very clean and service was excellent. Food selection and quality, especially in the evening was very poor. There was suppose to be five alacarte restaurants however only two or three were open each evening. Three out of our party of four experienced food poisoning. The evening buffet was the worst and at times we were unable to make a sandwich due to the limited food items available.

Dreams La Romana: Very good, but room for Improvement.

Dreams La Romana a lovely resort with plantation-style character, beautiful pools and a gorgeous beach with calm water that was wonderful for swimming, lounging and relaxing. Out from shore there was sufficient winds for good catamaran sailing. Our accommodations were comfortable, although we could hear the next room through the unused shared doors. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, certain staff were always in sales-mode trying to get you to buy services or future vacations at Amre [... read more]sorts properties. They were so persistent that after a while you just had to ignore them when they called to get your attention. We really liked not having to reserve for dinner. All resorts should do this. Food was typical all-inclusive with some great dishes, mostly average and some mediocre. The breakfast and lunch buffets were consistently good. Deserts were not so good – lots of spongy, gooey, sugary manufactured stuff. The puddings and ice cream were better. The house white and red wines were poor, the rosé better. They did have a decent wine list of Spanish and Italian wines for additional cost. They also have an excellent coffee shop. Overall a very good experience but definite room for improvement.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Good overall experience

Overall, we had a good experience. Our group was a total of 21, parents and teenagers. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. The food was above average. The staff were very friendly and engaging. The rooms are in need of upgrading, especially the bathrooms. In my opinion, this hotel rates 4 stars.

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Great family resort!

My husband and I visited Dreams Puerto Aventuras the first week of March, and really enjoyed the location in the Mayan Riviera, the small size of the resort and especially our dolphinview room with private balcony so that we could watch the dolphins in the dolphinarium any time. Quite entertaining! Rooms are large and very quiet, although there were children next door; the beds are comfy too. The staff is excellent and they're always asking if there's anything you need. We enjoyed the main buffet, which is inside, and we ate at the restaurants each evening, and we liked that there were no reservations and we never had to wait. Food was very good and we never had a bad meal. The internet cafe always had lovely treats and coffees. We always felt very safe and they take your room number to keep track of you if you're leaving the resort. The beach is very clean but small, and water shoes are recommended because this is a coral reef. We saw many divers going to the marina. Great concierge service at all times. Just half an hour by taxi to see the ruins at Tulum. Never had such friendly service at a resort.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Decent

Nothing special staff can be annoying I got sick off the food there resort is far from town I had a good time made the best of it but I wouldn't return to this hotel I've been too dreams cancun Riviera and dreams punta Cana cannot even compare

Dreams Huatulco: Awesome place with great staff!

The staff was Amazing, food was excellent, rooms were great and I would definitely go back!! Everything was great and it was close to the airport which is a bonus too! Town felt safe too! Go here for a great relaxing time!

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: A Wonderful Return Trip

Anybody who is not happy here has problems. Lovely grounds, good food, friendly staff, adequate rooms and a pool that swimmers could die for. Fabulous beach for walking. Can be very windy at times but waves are great to watch and play in.

Dreams Huatulco: Very Nice Resort

We had requested 4 rooms (3 with King beds). When we arrived, we received only one room with a King bed. But we decided against asking for a change as our rooms were all close together and close to the pool. I don't think the resort was full and we had no issues with getting chairs by the pool and only one evening were not able to be seated 8 together at dinner. I liked the fact that the staff is friendly and efficient but very "hands off". We were not harassed to have photos taken, to purchase  [... read more]anything, to play games, etc. The resort was super clean and the bed comfortable and air conditioning great. The mini bar was stacked daily. I liked the size of the resort - young and old can be comfortable there. There isn't much of a beach for walking (which we knew) and town is a $5 US trip - not a nice walk - about 5k highway. The food was okay. I personally found it generally very salty and the usual watered down, sugary drinks. But there was lots of variety and everyone could be content. Perhaps because the resort wasn't full, the buffet wasn't turned over often and I found the food on it to be consistently cold. Not much to be done about that I guess. All in all, a very pleasant place to hang out for a week. The teenagers with us took advantage of the kayaking and bicycle tour.

Dreams La Romana: Amazing Place

Loved the resort. Beatiful grounds, nice rooms and facilities. Excellent personnel. A lots of different options for activities. Excellent restaurants and bars. Free Wi-Fi everywhere at the resort. Good entertainment!

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Great Family Oriented Resort

My family (husband, two daughters and their husbands and two grandchildren aged 8 & 10) had a wonderful vacation at Dreams Punta Cana. The grounds are outstanding, food plentiful and very good. The entertainment team worked so hard to keep us all happy...can't say enough good things about them. Only con would be the rooms which were a little smaller and tired looking than the pictures indicated and the bathrooms dark. Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Loved everything about it!

My husband and I plus my mom and dad, sister, hubby and 2 kids just came back from this resort and it was fantastic!! We would go back in a heartbeat. Yes the rooms could use a bit of an update and my dad wished there was a dresser drawer but we barely spent time in our rooms. The grounds are lush and beautiful, my favorite part was walking to the beach each day and stopping to look at the flamingos and coy pond! The food was incredible. I'm gluten free, and only eat chicken and there was still  [... read more]lots for me to choose from. The a la carts were incredible and the line ups moved quickly for them. The beach was always clean and the entertainment staff was so friendly and involved with not just getting us to do stuff but they took an interest in all our needs and life's. Ana, Super Luis, chocolate #1, Sandy beach and Benjamin Franklin are awesome to hang with! My one and only complaint which took away from the 5 stars was the wait it sometimes took to get drinks. The bar staff could be very slow at times so double up when you can! Nightly entertainment was cool as well. If you're into going off the resort, I actually spent a day doing animal rescue with a local group called Rescatame. I was able to learn a lot about their culture and see some beautiful areas and for free! You just need to donate your time! Please don't go swimming with the Dolphins at any location and please don't ride the horses as they try to sell and the owners do not treat either animals fairly so please don't support this and this is coming from many locals as well. If you do choose this resort you will have a blast! Oh and for $37 I brought a full suitcase with kids clothes, toiletries and dollar store items which I left small piles every morning for the maids with a couple of bucks and the look on their faces was pure joy. They need all they can get especially shoes of all sizes as they are hard to come by down there! Hope you have as much fun as we did!

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Beautiful beach and good service

Everything was well-kept and the food was also delicious The staff was attentive and answered all of our questions about anything we had! The entertainment was also decent and there was a lot of choice for food and restarants.

Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa: Very good time

The hotel is very nice and the food was very good. It is very low key and good for families. I was a little concerned about the beach because of what I read about the seaweed but we did not have any problems. It was very nice. The staff was great - very respectful, helpful and pleasant. The only negatives I had was that the shower was never hot (luke warm at best); the pools were really cold, and we felt a lot pressure to join the "Hotel chain club". We really never had to wait for dinner (no re [... read more]servations) but the hotel was not crowded; but they are not very big so I would think in high season, it will definitely be a different story. Overall, we had a great time.

Fiesta Americana Riviera Nayarit: Dreams Villamagna is a great resort.

The hotel was wonderful. There was 3 pools to choose from and a hot tube, plenty of restaurants to choose from, daily activities printed out and left in our room, all the amenities you could dream of were there, the hotel rooms where spacious and clean, and all the staff members were very hospitable.

Dreams Huatulco: Excellent resort.

The service food and accommodations are very superior. The employees went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Everything was so clean. Drinks and food were very good and lots of choices everyday.

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Awesome resort!

This place was amazing! We had a great time, enjoyed the beautiful resort and beach. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to please the guest. The food was delicious and plentiful. I would definitely love to go back.

Dreams Huatulco: Beautiful upper class resort

Beautiful, very clean, upper class resort. Food was top notch with plenty of variety. Staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The only complaint is guests who would save chairs by the pool or beach and then NEVER use them.
