Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort: Amazing relaxing resort

The staff was very friendly, happy and accommodating. They went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic experience and were able to relax and enjoy our vacation. The food and service was exceptional, we tried many new dishes and were very surprised at how great they tasted and were equally impressed in the helpfulness of the waiters serving them.

Riu Santa Fe: nice resort

The pools were great and lots of swim up bars. Not the greatest selection of alcohol though. Nightlife at the resort was also pretty lame. Food all tasted the same. Very nice resort otherwise and very clean. Friendly staff.

Riu Santa Fe: Beautiful Resort

Our family (of 4) loved this resort. The staff were friendly, food was delicious, and the view from the pool was absolutely beautiful. We would definitely stay there again. The only thing we feel could have better was if there was more of a child pool/play ground. The mini club was lacking in that area.

Barcelo Gran Faro Los Cabos: Barcelo Grand Faro

The resort is clean and well kept. Housekeeping was odd, with so many rooms, ours wasn't cleaned until 5pm each day which worked out to the time we returned to change to eat... The beds were super hard and lost a lot of sleep.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: This is Far the of the best

We stayed at the Riu Palace in Cabo San Lucas between December 12-20-2014 Let me start by saying I have a lot experience staying in Hotels, due to my work and travel mostly Canada and the United States, I stay approx.. 300 days a year in hotels. Not to mention vacationing in at least 1/3 of the Caribbean Islands and Mexico. After reading half the reviews on Trip Advisory I knew this hotel was amazing, even though 12% of the reviews gave the hotel a very bad review, in fact these people had nothi [... read more]ng good to say. Well I am a very picky person. My review about this hotel was I found everything GREAT except the coffee was not good at all. Flew with Sunwing from Toronto and as usual Sunwing was late departing from both airports (Toronto and Cabo San Lucas) Once in Cabo airport, we walked out after picking up our luggage (4 people traveling) got into the bus and off to the hotel. Once there we had a welcoming with drinks and a very fast check in, took approx. 15 min. The people at the hotel were the nicest and politest hotel staff I have ever encountered. And I have encountered some very nice hotel staff in the past. Rooms very clean, comfortable, and spacious, anywhere you turned they had people cleaning non stop. From the front desk staff to the wait staff, bus boys management, housekeeping grounds people, bartenders, all the way to the entertainment staff, they were all great to deal with. The food was great, the AL cart restaurants we tried were the Crystal and the Mexican (which is the Italian during the day). During the day we went to the open kitchen buffet by the pool or the Italian rest. At night mostly the main buffet, No matter where you go to eat here, the presentation was an A+ and the taste was an A++. Be leave me you cannot go hungry here, they always have something to suite everyone appetite. They also have Japanese, did not go there but heard it too was good. I could go on and on, but to cut it short I would definitely highly recommend this Hotel, in fact I think they should train other hotel staff here to show them how a hotel should be run. Good Job Staff and keep it up.

Riu Santa Fe: Great resort

We really enjoyed our stay at the Riu and were impressed with the friendliness of the staff and and the lovely grounds. There was a good selection/variety of different foods and it was nice to eat at the speciality restaurants. The only issues we had were that the beds were really hard and there could have been a better selection of red wine!

Posada Real Los Cabos: Cute and relaxing!

The courtyard was a cute little desert with some streams and fountains that was very well maintained. The food was VERY GOOD although not the biggest selection. The pool was nice although we spent ALL our time in the AMAZING ocean! The waves were SO fun and you can see jumping manta-rays and fish a lot! The walls are quite thin but it wasn't too but since no one was up too late, probably because the bars close at 11:30pm. Not a young, partying resort.

Barcelo Gran Faro Los Cabos: Lousy Check In - Great Stay!

Some front end staff neeed Customer Service training and they MUST streamline their check in process to make it move more quickly. We were very unhappy that they demanded a pre-auth on our credit cards (never had that before at an all-inclusive). For one of our party it was 7000 pesos and it was 5000 for me. It was also advertised th [... read more]at there was free wifi in the lobby but on check in we learned that wasn't true - only available for a fee. Otherwise the resort itself was super. The best food by far of any all inclusive any of us have visited. Great variety and well executed. Rooms were kept clean, although a little inconsistent with how many towels were available and sometimes the mini-bar wasn't fully restocked - nothing we couldn't live with though. We were impressed by how hard working everyone was - much work being done to fix things from hurricane damage but it was never intrusive. Pool staff were a lot of fun. Great that the activity pool was so warm as we had little ones with us that were able to spend a lot of time in there with us. The evening entertainment was top notch. Mexican Fiesta night was a highlight for us, and again we were impressed with how much work the staff did to make it all happen. Bar service was a little hit and miss. After the first day there was never mint at the pool bar so I either had to go up to the lobby or have something else (again not a big hardship though). There were six adults and 2 small children in our group and we agreed that we would all happily come back again if the overall experience was the same (and the front end improved! )

Riu Santa Fe: Mexico's New Hot Spot for sure.

Our fifth 2 week vacation here and will be back next year. Absolutely love this resort and area. One $ US. will get you to downtown to check out Cabo Wabo Canteena. The hurricane did a lot of damage in this area but it was not really noticeable at the resort.

Riu Santa Fe: Review of Riu Santa Fe

My friends and I had an amazing time at the resort. It was generally clean, staff was friendly, had a variety of food. You could hardly tell that it was effected by the hurricane a couple months ago. I did, however, find there was a lack of problem skills for some of the staff we dealt with. Otherwise, we definitely felt like it was a good pick.

Riu Santa Fe: Great place to go!

This hotel had great views, great staff and a good night life. Also, close to town and all the great things of Cabos! The buffets where good and both close to the large pool areas. The view from the infinity pool facing the mountains and marina were spectacular.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Amazing resort with excellent service.

Excellent resort with all the services you would like to have. We enjoyed every minute of it. Food, service, pool /beach area and rooms in excellent condition. Entertainmemnt in the evening and in pool area very good. We recomment it to all family and friends.

Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf and Spa: WOW

Cant say enough about the staff at this resort. We happened to be vacationing there when Hurricane Odile hit. Being caught in the middle of a hurricane should have put a huge damper on anyone's vacation, how this hotel took care of its guests afterwards helped you quickly forget any of Mother Nature's fury. The grounds, the hotel, the rooms were all in disarray but it was quickly evident the next morning that we were their top priority. Every single worker greeted us with a smile and spent countless hours at the resort even though their own homes and families were in greater need of them. Well done Pueblo Bonito Pacifica. The 3 days we spent before the hurricane, this hotel easily meets its 5 star rating.

Barcelo Gran Faro Los Cabos: Fantastic Resort - great place to relax!

The guestrooms, pools, restaurants, buffet, and grounds were all nice and tidy, very well kept. The food in the buffet and the a la carte restaurants were excellent. The Hotel staff in the restaurants and bars and at the pool were great to deal with. The staff in the Hotel Gift Store were not very friendly. They never smiled. We asked the front desk for change for a $20USD and they sent us to the gift shop for change. The staff in the gift shop immediately said no and finally gave in when we sa [... read more]id the front desk sent us there for change. That is my only complaint.

Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf and Spa: First time trip to Mexico

We loved that all the rooms faced the ocean. We were on the fourth floor and had a great view, and could here the pounding of the surf. There is no swimming in the ocean. A cab ride is required or car rental to go and do things around Los Cabos. We did feel safe at this time share/resort! If we returned to this Mexico destination, we would pick a resort along the beach where swimming is safe without the undertow. Overall it was a relaxing vacation and the staff worked incredibly long hours/week. [... read more] This did seem personal to me as there should be balance for the staff's work and family time! Carmen, our hostess you have incredible stamina to work the dinning desk from lunch into the late evening of dinner service and all the waiters being stretched thin to cover all the areas and attention to detail. It is not your fault it is the will of the owner Ernesto! There is a T.V. feed in room dedicated with him talking about his rise to riches with his book also available to purchase at the check in desk. The pool was not the most up to date, but Sunset/resort has approx. three pools up the hill. Shuttles come on the hour. Also this is were to book any excursions/attractions, which was not well advertised. But we did misplace our package waiting for our room check in. This is when the hard sell time share pitch is being presented to sign up for a 45 min tour around the property. We did decline, and we were never bothered about it for the rest of the stay. I was happy about that! Over all we were happy with our experience at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Resort and Spa.

Royal Solaris: AMAZING

This hotel was amazing!! We spent 5 wonderful days at the Royal Solaris. While I was a little apprehensive after reading some of the reviews about the quality of the food and drinks, the place turned out to be a complete surprise. it was the best vacation i've ever been on. the hotel is beautiful and there is always something to do day and night. The staff is awesome, special thanks to Valentin and Victoria at greater desk and Lucy for the wonderful food, Alejo y Paco at the Restaurant Area, my  [... read more]kids love you guys, and they are begging Us to come back soon. Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos: Out of this world!

This is a beautiful hotel, with immaculate grounds and accommodations. Staff is extremely professional and friendly. Food is awesome. There is much to see and do a short walk away. If you rent a car, you can easily drive to Cabo San Lucas and do some snorkelling and shopping. Shop around for water taxi to the arch as they are very competitive about pricing, don't settle for first vendor. Amazing trip, would love to go back!

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos: Even better now that it is Hyatt!

All good! Cannot say enough about the entire experience! From check in to check out, every facet of this resort exceeded our expectations. The staff were brilliant, many thanks! The management staff in the International Restaurant went above and beyond to take care of my young son! And a special thanks to the young lady with the RayBan glasses at reception, the room was perfect!

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Amazing resort.

The hotel was always spotless including the bathrooms. The food was amazing and there was always plenty to eat. The entertainment staff was great, very friendly and always smiling. The service was great at this hotel. A very pleasant experience. This was my first time staying at a Riu and it was simply beautiful. The only downfall is the beach, you couldn't really go for walks on it but the pools made up for it.

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos: Very Pleased, Family Stay

Very nice. Everything was good. Food was perfect. They locate families with kids in a separate wing of the hotel which is quite and is away from night life noises. Couple daytime and night time activities and show. Good for families with kids. The beach is not good for swimming but the pool is very good.
