Grand Palladium Kantenah: Terrific vacation

Hotel was amazing. No need to go off resort. Staff friendly and helpful. Very clean rooms and grounds kept immaculate. Food was great. No restrictions on a la carte restaurants which was very nice. Beach was wonderful with lots of lounge chairs.

TRS Turquesa: Spoiled rotten

We upgraded to a Cabana and it was awesome. The staff at the hotel are dedicated and friendly. The food is great, entertainment a bit samey though. Really clean place, gorgeous gardens, lovely beach. We really enjoyed the a la carte restaurants - the Spanish and French especially.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Breathtaking views

The resort was a lot bigger than expected and exceeded all expectations. There's a large variety of restaurants and things to do for leisure and fun. Friendly staff and service. Great for a getaway with friends or family. Beautiful scenery and romantic views of sunsets. Definitely worth the money. Also, anything you need they can supply. Ya mon!

Grand Palladium Palace: Beautiful resort

The food was 5 star rooms are roomy &great, beach was excelllent. The staff was beyond excellent, friendly and cheerful. The grounds were well kept and beautiful. The restaurants are plentiful and excellent.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: 5-Star Resort! You definitely should go!

We stayed for 7 days at the Grand Palladium Jamaica, and our only regret is that we didn't stay longer! The resort is very big, gorgeous, and well kept. There are so many things to do and things to see just on the grounds itself. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing, the various a-la-carte restaurants had a good variety of menus. They have the biggest pool in Jamaica there and it's gorgeous and huge! Although it is a little far from the main cities (Montego Bay, Negril), it was still central enough to travel easily to them if you wish to go. Will definitely need to visit other Grand Palladium resorts after this one!

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Amazing Vacation to Grand Palladium Vallarta

The rooms are all well maintained and clean, the grounds are kept very nice, the food is great, the beach is beautiful, and all the staff are AMAZING! There is lots to do at the resort to keep you busy, but it is also good for just relaxing - so you can make your vacation exactly what you want. Giovani is the BEST bartender at Hemminways. Matias and Victor are the BEST bartenders at the Relax Pool. I've been to this resort twice and will definitely be returning again in the future.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Fantastic resort

The resort and staff were fantastic. The weather was unfortunately poor but the ambience made up for it. The ocean requires water shoes as it is somewhat rocky. The villa we were in had been recently renovated.

Grand Palladium Riviera Resort And Spa: Amazing resort

Very nice family friendly resort with a nice beaches and lot of restaurant varieties, staff are very helpful, rooms are spacious and well furniture Animation team is very good. Food presentation is more than good . we will go again .

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Great Resort!!

Beautiful resort!! The food was good, everyone was friendly!! We had no issues at all. Lots to choose from on the buffets. We went to the steak house (which was great) and the Italian a la carts (good also). No problem finding something to eat. Our room (3000 bldg) was central to the beach, lobby, buffet, pool and those two a la carts. It is a big resort and for some activities there is some walking involved. Grand Palladium Palace: great resort

grounds are beautiful.....rooms kept very clean but definitely not geared for people with minor disabilities(ie: bathrooms).....pools had green algae growing in grout lines of tiles.......beach is absolutely a 5+..........doctor Juan at the clinic is a great doctor and shows much concern and passion for the tourists at the resort(would rate him 5+++)......loved not having to make reservations for a la carte restaurants (paging system for table is superb)......staff was very nice and friendly alt [... read more]hough often there was a communication barrier with language......food was excellent...........vendors with tables on the resort are a little aggressive and will not allow patrons to look over the wares leisurely..........bar tenders need to learn how to mix drinks (most of drinks were too strong or not at all what was ordered).......thanks for the free peanuts and olives at the lobby bar

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Very nice

Grounds were spotless. Tireless effort by staff no matter what time of day Mexican people awesome. There is just no surprise for us. Everything worked everything clean service perfect. What more would you want. First trip to Mexico and absolutely loved it

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Ya Mon! Fantastic Resort!

My husband and I enjoyed this resort immensly! We stayed for a week and experienced the entire resort. The pools were amazing, the beaches we couldn't complain about - the steak was better than the Keg! Our room was nice, we stayed in the Bungalows - the ones with the outdoor shower. The resort is quite big so we did a lot of walking. Some people shuttled from their room to the lobby/main area. We would recommend this resort to a family or a couple. The night entertainement was great and the Casino was fun! We expereienced the Spa and received one of our best massages yet! Also, I couldnt go to Jamaica and not get my hair braided! What an experience! The only damper on our holiday was that it was difficult to get a decaf coffee! Every morning at breakfast,we would ask, most mornings we lucked out and got a decaf, some... we weren't so lucky. Over all, this was a great resort. The people were friendly, the food was amazing, it was very clean, the pools/ocean were awesome! We would definatley recommend this resort to others!

Greatest vacation resort by far! Everywhere you go is exceptionally clean! Food was superb and so many options of where to eat! We loved the spa and had massages together on valentines day! We will be back and want to stay for 10 days next vacation. Sincerely, Ray & Corinne Smith

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Fabulous

With only one exception this resort is the place to be. We were a party of 9. Active grandparents, children and grandchildren ages 17-73. Only 2 of their many restaurants take advance reservations. Because of the size of our group it was difficult to get a table at a decent eating hour. That aside we learned to cope quickly and had our best family trip to date. The resort is large so lots to offer with beautiful grounds, staff and services.

This was our fifth stay at The Palladium in Dominican Republic. As returning customers, we've usually enjoyed room upgrades, but not so this time. Managers promised to meet with us but never delivered on that promise, opting to let desk clerks handle our concerns. Our closest pool was out of service for half of the week. Plumbing and electricity was interrupted for more than a day. We're used to being approached to purchase various services, but this year the frequency was significantly higher.  [... read more]People selling spa services were particularly annoying. The on site transportation service was heavily weighted toward people willing to listen to Palladium Travel Club pitches (which we did a few years ago, but we're not interested). My wife did finally make contact with a Manager while we were waiting for our taxi to the airport, and was assured that we would see better service on our next visit (should we choose this resort again). We've usually enjoyed our Palladium vacations, but this year was a step backward.

TRS Turquesa: Great resort

Big resort with 4 sections. Royal suites has the biggest perks. Well worth the extra as you get a la carte reservations to all the different restaurants made by your butler, a couple of restaurants exclusive to you, golf carts to take you around the resort, and a pool and bar open very late if you want to enjoy a swim at night. Rooms were very nice. Washrooms at beach and other public areas were very clean at all times. Plenty of food and choices to please everyone. Grand Palladium Jamaica: With a bit of tweaking this resort could be a 5

This was an amazing resort. It was very large but very well laid out. The grounds were very well kept. the rooms were very nice. they were large, clean, comfortable and very accommodating. The food was also very good and offered a large assortment. We especially loved the table laid out with the cheeses. The pool and beach areas were amazing. the negatives. The golf carts that we were told would be around every few minutes, were very hard to find. We were travelling with two elderly ladies who  [... read more]desperately needed these carts but were never able to find them. One of these ladies finally called the management and complained about this. This seemed to help a bit. The other negative is the workers. In particular the front desk check in girl and the restaurant workers. We usually travel to Mexico and find the people there (we have gone to many different areas and different resorts) to be much friendlier. I am not too sure if the people in Jamaica are not of the same nature or if it was the resort. Their attitudes did impact our feel of the place though. We are not sure if we will book with the Palladium chain again?

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Pleasant Stay

First impression was disappointing. Main lobby seemed a bit tired, with soiled couches and a sticky front desk. Check in and out went smoothly. The resort has 4 a la carte restaurants; no reservations required, first come first serve. Sometimes had a lengthy wait for the second seating but they had a good paging system when your table was ready. All our evening meals were a la carte and mostly provided good food. Buff [... read more]et provided lots of variety, food when cooked to order gave the best results, otherwise food seemed overcooked or had been kept warm for too long. Room was very nice and clean. We upgraded to an ocean view and were pleased with the view into the bay. However the room was close to where many wedding activities were held and created some party noise till 11:00. We were not impressed with the evening shows, only 1 evening had hired entertainment. Other nights it was just audience participation events. We were rather surprised by how many smokers there were on the resort., with no designated outdoor non smoking areas. The bars and two pools where nice, and the salt water pool was a cool feature. High tides and big surf tossed some fish into this pool. Finding shade around the pool or under palapas where tricky if you didn't reserve your lounge chairs by 7:30 am with a towel. The staff were helpful and pleasant. There was a language barrier at times but that is to be expected. The water sports centre staff were awesome as was the beach bar staff. Beautiful beach and great surf. Lots of stairs and a small zoo set in natural gardens.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Great service, but many faults.

Great service and great room. Food was good but 1 of the 4 restaurants was closed 8 of the 10 days there for wedding groups. The main pool is not heated and I could not use it, toooo cold. One last beef, I was on the third floor (actually 4th as they could floor zero as the first floor) and 48 steps to climb up, no elevators. This resort has steep stairs all over to get to main or adult pool. Not a good choice for anyone with mobility issues or baby carriages. Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Wonderful Resort

This is a somewhat large resort but transit is provided for those wanting it to travel the premises. The grounds are kept immaculate with daily grooming. Pools are cleaned daily with adequate lifeguard supervision. As retirees, we appreciated having the Adult Only Pool and Coral Beach area without children to allow for a more relaxed and quiet vacation. All meals were well presented, good portions and a large selection to provide something for everyone. All staff, whether maintenance, maidservice, bartenders, waiters, lifeguards or the like were very welcoming and friendly. Our room and building had been recently renovated and updated and was decorated in a tasteful manner. There was adequate linens available and replenished when needed. The refrigerator was also always kept with water, sodas and beer. Little added touches such as flowers on the bed, turn-down services with chocolates, etc. were enjoyed. Our only negative comment would be that an expensive article of clothing was taken from our ground-level terrace. This was reported to Customer Relations and Security who did an investigation but nothing was found and no compensation was offered which was disappointing. All in all, it was a great vacation and we would go back again.
