Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: An Awesome Resort

We stayed at this resort for the week before Christmas and fell in love!! It is a great resort, with an awesome beach, great service and lots of food options. We have been to the Carribean several times and this is our favorite resort so far!

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Delicious, Exciting, and Energetic!

Pros: - AMAZING authentic restaurant food - Fantastic staff (shout-out to Francisco at the Grazie Italian restaurant, he was awesome!) - Very clean resort (staff are always on the ball) - Tantalizing shows (PLEASE go see the nightly shows; they're SO GOOD) - Beautiful views (Check out the rooftop terrace!) - Very close to the airport Cons: - Daily events and fitness classes from TV schedules didn't always line up with actual events - Events sometimes seem to get cancelled without noti [... read more]ce - This is a personal preference, but I would have appreciated more Latin music, and maybe some relaxing music in the Hideaway section. There was a lot of party/pop music. I would HIGHLY recommend this resort. It was a blast! In my opinion, the staff and the food made the vacation. Don't forget to tip! Tipping a few CDN or USD to the hard-working folk at Hideaway goes a long way in making your vacation that much better and everyone is happy! Also, try out some original Mexican drinks while you're there! I LOVE the Banderis Mexicana, Riviera Maya, Paloma, Michelada and Carajillo!

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: One week in Royalton Riviera

The trip was a good one overall. There were some things that we really liked for example the hotel itself and the rooms. The drinks were premium. We were upgraded to the Hideaway section, which is adults only. The negatives were the location of the hotel and the beach. The hotel is located in a marshy area, so there was a terrible smell, lots of mosquitoes and no outside view. The beach was dirty water, muddy, lots of seaweed. Long lineups, hours of waiting etc. The buffet food was ok, very repeatitive, nothing special . Overall 4 stars out of 5. We expected better.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Great resort!

My husband and 2 year old girl just came back from visiting Royalton and had a great time. Great for kids with an awesome splash pad, nice pools and our room was excellent. ( Presidential Suite). The restaurants were decent with the Indian restaurant by far being our favourite

Royalton CHIC Cancun: Hotel

The hotel is very nice convenient the food was tasty the service was fair the room were excellent great service concerning rooms the hotel is clean modern good planning the terrace facing the ocean excellent

Royalton Hideaway Saint Lucia: Great resort but very far from airport.

Great resort, beach is small but nice with white sand, some place has sand bottom some has rock. Beach reserved to Hideway guests is tiny. Beach chairs are so close to each other. Not very comfortable. Food in restaurants à la carte is average, buffet has a lot of choices. Service is great , very fast to react and even follow up . People in service are amazing. Hotel should relax a bit about sales pitch re time share and future holidays. Some sale people are pushy and try too hard to be ni [... read more]ce. Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa: DIAMOND CLUB

The Royalton Antigua is a wonderful destination. The beach is beautiful, the restaurants are very good, the service is excellent. A word of advice: if you are booked in Diamond Club sit down with your butler and have a conversation of what your expectations are! If you do not have this conversation you will get nothing. With that said, we had a wonderful time here and the service from our butler was good.

Royalton CHIC Cancun: Royalton Suites

Luxury hotel that just opened this past year. Rooms are beautiful with views on either side of the ocean or the inter coastal. We enjoyed the service and the a la carte restaurants although the waiters were not always friendly. Food prep at the buffet might be a little suspect with the way the meat was sitting out beside the grill and the blender was rinsed between smoothies. Could be a bad [... read more] time of year for the flu too but everyone in our group of 10 kept saying the food was making them feel off while we were there. Not sure I’d go back for that reason. Also found the pool a little small for the number of guests. There are two diamond guest pools as well which make you feel second class cause you can’t use them. Although the roof pool was closed half the time for private parties and maintenance so the diamond guests weren’t too happy either. No one was even in the kiddie pool, they were all in the bar pool with their parents. Kind of a waste. We all agreed The resort lacked in pools. There’s always the beach but the undertow was strong so we had to be careful. Liked the area of the hotel and was able to walk in the mornings down the strip. We took a taxi to the fashion mall in the rain but a fellow told us his taxi driver put $10 grand on his credit card so we paid the $11 cash each way. Didn’t do any day trips just needed to relax and hate the cattle run with those things. Gym is good and lots of classes to try. We also used the spa which is first class. Had massages and pedicures which were excellent.

Royalton Punta Cana Resort: TERRIBLE resort

Absolutely terrible resort! Nothing luxury about this resort. Extremely dirty rooms. We had to switch rooms because the first room’s mini fridge had been unplugged for so long, super dirty and smelled so bad! Second room we went to had poop/stool marks inside the toilet bowl! The food was absolutely disgusting! The only good food was at Japanese restaurant which was teppanyaki. And if you dont like Japanese food then there wont be any food in this resort for you so dont go! The resort says it  [... read more]has multiple restaurants and buffets, but thats a lie because more than half are not in this resort they are in the resorts beside them which is at least 20 min walk same with the Splash Pool Water Slides. Service was horrible! Nadia from Building #1 is the concierge and she lied to us about the resort discontinuing dinner reservations for the Japanese restaurant so we lost 1 night of eating actual real food. We asked her multiple times but she said no need for reservation. She was a terrible person and was very pushy into sales. Some little girl got Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease and the resort made no reports of it even thought our friends saw her and her family going to the clinic. and she was covered in rashes. The resort didnt let parents know and that disease is contagious through air And saliva. And my 1 year daughter caught it most likely from the pool. So last 1.5 days we were indoors because my daughter had fever and was covered in rashes and we didnt want to make any other kids sick. Overall this resort was absolutely terrible and i would not recommend it at all. Just stay away from this resort dont waste your money!

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Nice resort

Hotel and grounds were very nice, loved the lazy river. Pools are nice and warm with lots of loungers, also never a shortage of loungers at the beach where we spent most of the time. Restaurants are ok, hunters steak restaurant was very good, had a great ribeye done perfect, that was our favourite place to eat.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Great Reaort with a few caveats

The resort was great, clean, safe, plenty of pools and good food options. Breakfast had a tonne of options. The view from the lobby is sublime. The cons were it wasn't the greatest organizational experience. Check in was long. There's a lot of people trying to convince you to spend more money, either on a spa or on their packages. The beach was ok, the beds and chairs by the beach and pool were sometimes dirty or had a pool of water. Overall was still a good experience but slightly short of 5 s [... read more]tar.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Great family resort

Love the fry truck and lazy river. Second time back this year. Third to this resort. Very family oriented. A la cartes are nice but buffet has an excellent selection. Even a small buffet table for kids. Rooms are large. Resort is very clean. Lots of activities to do. Staff ( wait staff, activities staff, bar tenders, housekeeping) all do a great job and deserve your tips! The shows each night are great. Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: The name don't match the location !

The ground and public areas are very good. Dining , in general, is good. Service ( except the check in) are very good. The room is run down, i.e. the bed mattress on both bed are sacking, the patio door outside handle is missing. If you try to conserve energy by closing the patio door when you stay outside, you can't get back in. The view from the B building are terrible, facing roof top and hotel kitchen. Although when we book the trip, it is suppose to be Luxury room, without extra US $  [... read more]350 upgrade fee, we end-up in this type of room. The check in process is terrible, unless you pay extra to become a diamond member, they just keep you waiting and waiting. It take us hours to get the room with a kitchen view.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Great Resort, but needs some

a few concerns: there was a major outbreak of Hand Foot and Mouth disease at the resort. No announcement was made, nor did we notice any additional care or cleaning to the pool and kid areas. As well, my luggage was not loaded onto the bus (even though it was tagged and sitting with the other passengers luggage). I then had to PAY to have my own luggage transported to the airport when it should have been loaded in the first place. No apology and no compensation. A little disappointing.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Rundown and in need of updating

While the beach, the weather and the Cuban people are beautiful, this hotel is a decaying relic. It certainly should not be listed as a ‘hidden gem’ or even a 4 star star resort, never mind a five star option. It is a 2.5 or 3 star at best. Travellers who have been to luxury resorts elsewhere in the Caribbean will be sorely disappointed in this resort. The butlers are useless and we could not access some of the restaurants or the disco because we were not members of the Diamond Club, something we were unaware of before booking. Paying for wifi was expected, but an annoyance that should be included in a resort labeled as luxurious. We we very disappointed in our vacation.

Royalton CHIC Cancun: Amazing and beautiful resort!

I think the resort was all around amazing. The beach was gorgeous and very clean. The room was very nice and spacious and the view from the room was really good as well. The cleanliness throughout the resort was very nice. I loved the service everyone was super nice.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: for those who want to relax

very clean, comfortable beds, good air conditioning, rooms a bit outdated but spacious and adequate. one of the best beaches in varadero, A variety of excellent a la carte restaurants. Good selection at buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Relatively small resort which was nice as everything was in close proximity. Staff very attentive and efficient. a nice retreat for those who just want to lay back and relax.

Royalton Punta Cana Resort: Will Never Stay at the Royalton anywhere Ever again!

Everyone has their hands out at this resort. Beware that you will be harassed and guilted into tipping or buying stuff the entirety of your stay while given absolutely no reason to do so. Beware that you will be annoying and bothering employees with your requests. Beware that there are no deadbolts on your suite doors, sliders don't lock, toilets don't work and HVAC systems make lots of noise and your requests for service and complaints will go unheard. WARNING: do not wear anything into the water that you don't mind losing - sunglasses, rings, etc. as the water is rough and you will never find it. But, there are people there that dive for lost stuff but good luck convincing them to give it back or even trying to buy your stuff back from them. Food has no flavour - we left two of the restaurants after a few bites as it was actually gross. The bars are constantly running out of alcohol so you have to wait or have to get something else that you don't really want. Oh, and if any employee talks about a special breakfast - DO NOT GO - they are trying to sell you a $45,000 membership! LOL. I hate that place soo much!

Royalton Saint Lucia Resort and Spa: Fantastic resort

Rooms spacious, clean, with all necessary small things that helps to have like make up or shaving mirror, steamer and iron, hair dryer. Fantastic large shower with 2 shower heads. Separate tub for those who like baths and best for last, most comfortable mattress hands down!

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Amazing Resort

This is our second time going to the Royalton Rivieria and we are already planning to return. Great staff, food, and evening shows! Only thing we weren't happy about was the pressure to attend the time share presentation. We were asked by 4 separate people about it despite telling them we did it the last time and were not interested.
