TRS Coral: Great Vacation!

We spent 7 days and enjoyed every minute of it. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left the staff was great. We would especially like to acknowledge Miriam, Manuel, Lugo, Ceasar, Miron and Ricardo for making our vacation so awesome. Their service was impeccable. Sunscape Dorado Pacifico: Can do better

Sunscape is located on a beautiful beach. Some things could be improved. The rooms are small and a bit out dated. Instead of drawers, they have baskets to arrange in your clothes. The cupboard was super small. The washroom was a good size standing shower. The floors of the property were nice and clean. Ther are not enough restaurants. In the evenings, there was only 1 à la carte restaurant and the buffet available.( which was not even a full à la carte menu, you had to get your appetizer fr [... read more]om the buffet!!!) The food at the buffet was very limited by choice and very mediocre. The caravan snack was good but very busy at lunch. Janet the waitress over there was super nice!! The service was great. Staff was nice and smiley. The reception staff were less friendly than others, apart from Daniel who was super nice!! The Sunwing representative Orion was at the property every day and was very helpfull by getting us to check out later than noon. The pool is nice and big with 2 slides. The beach was amazing!!

Riu Flamingos: Lovely resort

Resort is very nicely laid out, it is not a large resort so everything is a short walk. Lobby very nicely decorated, staff were very helpful. Food choices were excellent in the main buffet for all meals. Not impressed with the 24 hour food selection in 24 sports bar. Grounds kept in great shape and there were always staff around keeping everything nice and clean everywhere. A little disappointed the mini fridge in room restocked every 2 days.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Not Luxury, Not 5 stars

The grounds are beautiful and the pools are nice (did not swim though, too cold) and the floor to ceiling windows in the buffet and Alux look nice. It ends there. We felt unwelcomed the entire stay. We stayed in the luxury superior penthouse with jacuzzi. The room is really dated and needs a good paint job and colorful art. It was so drabby. The AC is loud and there was a consistent screech every 20-30 seconds which we reported to the front desk but it didn't get looked after until 24 hr [... read more]s later by the butler! The jacuzzi is dated and kept draining away. Maintenance fixed it on the last night. Walls are thin, I'll leave that to your imagination what we heard. Beds were uncomfortable, but excruciating back and neck pain for days. Tons of food choices but average (despite Mexico's rep for great food). Trolley takes you to other resorts (BP Tulum, Akumal, Coba) - also beautiful grounds and lobby - beach at Tulum resort is full of weeds and there are bumps in the water to break the waves. Can't comment on other beach. Small casino with bar. Black Jack, poker, roulette and slot machines. 5 min taxi to Akumel is 270 pesos or 18$ USD. Akumel to Tulum 400 pesos.

Luna Palace: Quaint hotel with great service

Luna Palace is smaller than many of it's neighbors making it a charming place to stay. The staff are courteous, friendly and helpful. They made us feel like family. Luna Palace is centrally located on the beach in easy walking distance to all sorts of amenities and activities, great restaurants and bars. Lots of action on the beach, great food and a warm pool that hosts a number of poolside activities. Stunning ocean view from our 6th floor room. Housekeeping services were excellent. Sunscape Dorado Pacifico: Been Four Times

Because we had been too this resort a few times were told too Upgrade Too Sun Club Ocean view room we would get a upgrade to ocean front room. Arrived gave us a room with no view of ocean front and a broken door no latch looked kicked in. gave us another room and told by a wonderful porter named Freddie too come back tomorrow he would try too help get us a upgrade, he is awesome and definately a plus too the Hotel. Got a upgrade next day made our stay much happier. That said they do need too s [... read more]pend some money on room upgrades, locks door frames , bathroom renos. But too go there for the staff awesome, look up Simon and Carlos swim up bar they are the best, Look up Luis at pool bar young, English is fantastic we loved him and also Antonio Waiter at the main pool for drink,. Also love Victor and Aaron at the Lobby bar awesome guys and Marcelo from Sun Club Lounge These are extremely hard workers that have been there all the times we have been there, so we will go back just too see them.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: BEST EVER!

By Far best service we have ever had. Great entertainment, great food, super comfortable beds, great friendly staff! We stayed at the Hideaway and can't wait to go back ! Pools everywhere you turn and bars everywhere as well, top shelf brands of alcohol too... Love this place :)

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Amazing vacation

The resort is beautiful with so many places to walk to and enjoy. The grounds are well cared for and clean. The rooms are good with a very comfortable bed. We loved the pools and beach space. We knew the resort was full but it never felt too crowded. The New Year’s Eve party was fun. The buffets and restaurants were all very good. The service was fantastic and the food was tasty with lots of choices. The staff work hard to make you feel pampered. We definitely recommend this resort.

Krystal Grand Los Cabos: Wonderful stay

Resort was very nice for our one week vacation. The best feature was the staff; extremely friendly and polite. The food in the restaurants was very good, the buffet was good for breakfast but few choices at dinner. Area for improvement would be a heated pool. It was so cold we couldn’t use it. Beach is huge!! Very clean and beautiful.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Very nice place

Everything was perfect ,we had a amazing time there! I will definitely recommend this resort to all of my friends.The resorts vibe is best suited for those seeking a pampered and an atmosphere of modern affluence. This is one of the best places I ever been!

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Fabulous resort!

The hotel was wonderful. We were a large group and this hotel offered something for everyone. The walking paths away from the “roads” where the golf carts roamed, were great. The food was the best I’ve ever seen at a resort. Eating at a la cartes every night was a real treat, although the “reservation” system could use some work - or at least some education to the users. It was easy to get chairs at the beach or the pool everyday which was lovely. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Wonderful resort

The hotel was excellent. The way the restaurants are booked could use some work, but the ability to eat in a la carte every night was fantastic. The food was very good and there was something to do for everyone. Getting the bar fridge re-stocked on a regular basis was a bit of a chore. Difficult to figure out how the air conditioning worked but finally managed!

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: Some call it a second home

If you are a beach lover it may disappoint primarily due to the Sargassum seaweed which has plagued the Mexican and Caribbean shores this year. The hotel works diligently daily to remove the weed to make the beach as pristine as they can However the service, facilities and food are excellent with three pools, access to an onsite gym and a new gym facility in the complex. Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: It is ok

Customer service at frant desk was bad no AC for few nights and it was hot.the room had this smile.which was not good when you do not have AC.at the beach when you want to go to water there was lots of shorp rocks you can not go.the food was good .

Grand Palladium Colonial: Some great things!

We spent Christmas at the TRS section. We had three rooms and were upgraded. Very nice facility however no beach in the TRS section and the TRS section of the beach is a bit of a jaunt. Food was sub par. COLD on more than one occasion. The best part of the TRS experience was the staff they are fabulous. Tram service also a highlight but the food issue needs to be addressed especially at the Poseidon and El Gaucho. Japanese and the French Le Boheme were good, Le Boheme was my favourite. Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Great Place for Family

We were guests at the OCT during the Christmas Break with a party of nine, ages 16 to 76. We dined at the buffet and tried all the a la cartes. The selection of food was excellent and no one complained about the quality which was above average but not quite gourmet. The pool is located near the beach and volleyball court which made it easy to keep the gang together. The property is well maintained and service is always provided with a smile. Like most of the Mayan coast, the ocean bottom does have coral here and there, and on windy days (9 out of 10 during our visit), the water is not clear. Personally, I enjoyed getting out for a bike ride every day. There are lots of quiet paved roads and the the wide shoulder on highway 307 feels quite safe. I even got to see crocodiles in the wild during one of my rides. During the holiday season this is a busy resort with lots of families and young people. However, if you are there for quiet and relaxation there there are lots of locations in the resort where you can avoid the crowd. We were especially grateful that Anne, or agent, was able to secure an ideal room, close to everything, for my wife who is recovering from a number of bone fractures.

Le Blanc Spa Resort: Amazing resort

Excellent facility, very quite, ideal for adults, beautiful beach, Ocean view from room was fantastic, butler service could be better, restaurants and bar services is exceptional, décor is beautiful,but the food preparation and palate needs to improve...…………………………………………………………...

Selection Riviera Cancun: Great resort

Amazing hotel. Very clean and well maintained. Hand sanitizer is offered before entering any of their restaurants. Grounds clean and landscaped. Employees worked hard all day, everyday to remove seaweed from beach. Gourmet food was exceptional! Service was great. Staff are friendly and personable. Highly recommend this resort.

Room - Spacious with separate seating area, modern double-shower room, in room double-sink and tub, enclosed toilet area, double closet space, fridge, balcony with nice view (building #5), clean. Food was overcooked and late. Beach terrace has a nice view and good food. Bars - very good with good variety of international drinks. Service was excellent all around, wait staff super friendly and ready to accommodate. Pool - all-around buildings, well maintained and nice. Beach - not as good as elsewhere. Lots of sea weeds and an undersized tractor to clean them. The tractor made tens of runs on the beach the result being more gases than cleaning. A lot of rocks in the water with one single place on the neighbor Grand Princess side with less of them and where most of the people were getting in the water. No water sports whatsoever. Very good shows with a very professional team (different from the entertainment team). Nice setup for the New Year's Eve party. I am recommending this property.

El Dorado Seaside Palms: Nice quiet get-a-way!

Just got back from a 4 night get-a-way at this resort (Dec. 28-Jan. 1) and my husband and I were very pleased. The resort is very quiet and caters mostly to couples which was perfect for us. The drive from the airport was pleasant although it was almost an hour and a half long. When we arrived the staff was very welcoming and friendly. The lobby of the Sensimar side is very dated which we noticed made some visitors concerned. Highly recommend their ala carte breakfast as well, which we enjoyed daily. The service was excellent, especially Cecilia the hostess. We got into our room a little before 3pm. We were on the first floor and our room had a swim up pool which was a nice touch. The room was very clean and had a Jacuzzi tub. The jets did not work but it was great for a bubble bath. We spent each day on the beach with the exception of one day that rained from morning to night. The beach is small and protected by large sand bags so it is more of a wading area, waist deep. A lot of sea weed but the workers remove it all day and it really wasn't a problem. We got out to the beach early and never had a problem getting loungers however they were not very comfortable. Lizbeth the waitress on the beach was awesome and very attentive. We stayed in the warm ocean water until sunset each day. Little tip is ask for premium alcohol when ordering drinks as we enjoyed Grey Goose Vodka when requested. The 24 hour room service was fast, accurate and of good quality. We really have no complaints. We tipped the excellent service which appeared to be much appreciated but not expected. We normally stay at Sandals resorts but opted for a less expensive trip this time and although the facilities were a little dated, the food, alcohol and service were comparable if not better.
