Casa Marina Reef Resort: Fabulous time once again.

We love the Casa Marina. It's relaxing for us and the weather is almost perfect most of the time. Renovations are great. Can't control waves or beach damage at times, but overall, we can't wait to go back next February for another 2 weeks. The staff is great too - especially the Entertainment gals and guys. Never a dull moment. You can't do better than this on a budget.

Ancora Private Residence Yacht Club and Marina: Great holiday!

We enjoyed everything about our stay! Great rooms, better than our expectations. The food was better than any resort we have stayed at. The staff was helpful and always friendly, helped us with excursions etc. We would definitely book here again and recommend to anyone.

Occidental Punta Cana: Improved conditions

Rooms greatly improved and very nice. Main desk very poor service. Example second day it rained no umbrella in room told main desk and concierge both said they would take care of it, never happened. Inroom fridge did not work took two days to get one that barly worked. Food not the best and every night at dinner was cold.

Riu Palace Bavaro: Disappointed

Staff: mostly nice untill u get to the buffet and it gets worse when you stop giving tips. Beach: beautiful but dirty and no waiters.my wife found a big Peace of broken glass sticking out of the sand. The pools: cigarette butts all over the place no one cleans up. People spitting all over the place disgusting. The other restaurants on the resort I would give it 2.5 out of 10 my wife and my buddy's wife both got food poisoning and my buddy got a little sick. The only store on the resort: Do n [... read more]ot buy anything from there the workers overcharge and pocket the rest it's rediculous. The Rooms: so dirty our sink wouldn't work. No air fan in the washroom. No blankets just a very thin and very very cheap blanket knockoff.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: A Great Experience

Overall the Dreams Palm Beach resort was excellent. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful at all times, especially the personnel taking care of the beach. The facilities were clean and very easy to get around. The food and selection was good and the entertainment was average. The distance from the airport was just right....and we found the airport experience to be fantastic (fast, short lines, quick service).

Occidental Punta Cana: Wonderful resort

My sister, brother and sister-in-law just got back from a week at this great resort. Beautifully kept grounds, short walk from rooms to the beach or lobby, not too big, no problems getting chairs at the beach or pools, and the meals were fantastic. We loved our meals at every one of the five à la carte restaurants, the buffets were great - we spent most of our days at the beach so often enjoyed the buffet at La Caracole (hello Ana and Felipe!) so you ate by the ocean, though more variety at th [... read more]e main buffet. The room and bathroom were clean, great size patio, and the beds and pillows were so comfortable - everyone remarked on them! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of shopping available on the resort if so inclined. We did a couple of excursions and there were two days when too windy to swim in the ocean, but we spent most of our days walking the amazing, sandy Bavaro beach - you could walk for miles! First time in the DR but we would not hesitate to come back - lovely, friendly people.

Paradisus Punta Cana: Wonderful family vacation

Beautiful hotel and grounds, great service, and excellent food. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the resort to friends and family. With a kids club and adults-only sections, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: A great compact welcoming resort

A well thought out resort. Beautifully landscaped and clean. The restaurants will were very accommodating for seating our party of 12. The entertainment team was very enthusiastic.. We enjoyed aquafit and dancing /music by the fountain. The Western show was poorly planned and executed. Lots of shade protection at the beach and pool. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Barcelo Bavaro Palace: GREAT RESORT

Lovely grounds, well kept. 2 great pools, one with a swim up bar, and 1 for quiet swimming etc. The resort is very well maintained. Great beach chairs, lots of them, and lots of beach space, so you are not sitting right on top of your "neighbour". Lots of stores in the resort for shopping, ranging from Gucci to your normal T-shirt and gift shop. Great restaurants and a casino in the resort and a coffee bar to just sit and relax after supper, if you wish. Entertainment every night which i [... read more]s very good, but it starts at 10pm, which is not the best, if you have kids with you. Also, this resort is only 25 minutes from the airport, so you are not on the bus long.

Zoetry Agua Punta Cana: Staff, Grounds, Facilities, Fantastic

Everything was top notch, except the coffee shop. The so called espresso machine, is really an instant coffee machine that uses pre-ground coffee. Very disappointing. The staff were excellent! Marcello, at the lobby bar was always ready to entertain.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: All round great experience

Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana is a beautiful setting. Exquisite grounds exceptionally well kept. The ocean is only a few steps from the other emenities. Everything is well layed out, compact but with the feeling of a larger resort. Buildings are a little older but well maintained. The food was excellent and the alacart restaurants are very good. The entertainment team on staff was very good during the day but imported nightly entertainment would be an improvement. Punta Canada is a place to return to.

Now Garden Punta Cana: Amazing Resort

We upgraded to the Now Larimar when we arrived to be closer to friends a d we were very satisfied with our experience. The room was clean, the staff was wonderful, the beach and pools were great. We have no complaints! Thanks for a wonderful holiday!

Majestic Mirage Punta Cana All Suite Resort: We had a great vacation at Majestic Mirage Club resort!

We had a good receiving team to make us very comfortable where we were introduced to our assistant butler Kelvin. Our room was acceptable but we were 100% deceived with our view and what we had paid for. Therefore we asked for better arrangement. The next day we were assigned a suite room that was appropriate with their viewing on the web site and what we had paid for. Very pleased! The staff is very helpful. The resort is very clean. Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Thank you all so Much for an awesome week again !!

I've been to Luxury Ambar Blue 7 times now , it gets better everytime , staff are a amazing, friendly and always helpful , smilies are endless and beautiful . Can't wait for next year with all the new renovations happening this coming summer and to get more enjoyment and relaxition .. Cheers to everyone there . I recommend trying this piece of paradise !

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: Second time around, still just as good

Really enjoy this resort, small size with everything you need. Great Service, great beach, great food. Good party atmosphere with lots of places to quietly slip away to relax. Most evening entertainment is more of a themed dance party than an actual show. Drinks were tasty and plenty. Didn't have any problems. Go for the diamond club upgrade!

Majestic Mirage Punta Cana All Suite Resort: Amazing Resort

We arrived at this hotel and our room was not ready. We met out Butler and he walked us around the grounds and took us to the Seaside Grill to have lunch and wait for our room. The grounds are beautifully manicured. After lunch our Butler came back to get us and took us to our room. Our room was a corner room on the 4th floor. It was amazing. We had 1-1/2 bathrooms, a living room with a sofa, TV and table and chair set. We had a king size bed and a walk in closet with shelving and a rod.  [... read more] The shower was set up with two rain shower heads and two hand held shower heads. We always had clean towels in our room. There was a turn down service at night and the maid would take the wet towels and replenish with clean ones. The only thing that did not work in our room was our mini fridge. They came to fix it one day and it still did not cool down the beverages. They replaced it but it still did not work when we left. It was not a big deal. The water was cool enough to drink and if we wanted pop we just went to the ice machine to get ice. The Beer was not cold enough to drink but we took it down to our friends room for them to put in their mini bar. The restaurants all had tasty food and a wide variety. You have to keep an open mind that something your order might not be what you get at home but it was still good. The staff in all of the restaurants were amazing and very friendly. 5 star customer service all the way. The entertainment staff were all friendly and did their best to get people up to participate in the activities. They really did a great job. They always got a number of people up to play the fun games or participate in Zumba, etc. The drinks at the bars were good. The mini beers that they make are amazing (don't taste anything like a beer). The beach was kept clean and there were always clean beach towels when you needed them. The night time shows were entertaining. The only issue was that they had big fans in the theater that they would turn on and they would blow on you and would be really cold. We learned to take a sweater with us at nights just for the theater. This was an amazing trip and I would definitely consider going back. Well done Majestic Mirage!!

Viva Heavens by Wyndham: Second time at this resort

This is our second time at this resort and it was just as nice the second time.Very clean everywhere.Rooms are very large and nice balcony .We went with a group of 11 and everyone enjoyed themselves.The only complaint I heard was that the liquor was very watered down and usually did not get what you ordered,other than that we all really enjoyed ourselves .Will return.

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Great Resort

Gran Ventana is very clean resort from rooms to grounds to beach. Staff are continually working on every area. Lots of hot water for showers. Clean towels and bottles of water replaced everyday.Staff is friendly and helpful. We did not go alacarte restaurants. The buffet was delicious at every meal. Lots of variety. Check in was quick. Upon arriving we were served a cold refreshing fruit juice. Our luggage arrived at our room quickly. We would definitly return .

Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: In general the resort is fantastic

Just got back yesterday and the resort it self could not be kept cleaner. Always employees everywhere inside and out working. The staff are sooo nice and always trying to please everyone. At the pool they have a group that are so entertaining , keep you active, and laughing. Food is really great , with a huge variety,although I did get a bit ill one day but that's the Islands. Catalonia Bavaro Resort: beautiful resort

THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN WITH FRIENDLY SERVICE. THE GROUNDS WERE VERY CLEAN ALL KINDS OF DUCKS DIFFERENT PLACES TO REST. THE BEACH WAS GOOD WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. VERY NICE POOL.ALL KINDS OF ACTIVITIES INCLUDING GOLF. ENTERTAINMENT WAS GREAT AND ENTERTAINMENT PERSONEL WERE GREAT.THE ONLY PROBLEM IS NOT WITH THE HOTEL ITS WITH ALL THESE PEOPLE WHO SPEND THEIR TIME ON THE SMART PHONE INSTEAD OF PARTICIPATING IN ALL THE ACTIVITIES AND ATTENDING THE ENTERTAINMENT THERE IS NO MINGLING LIKE IT USED TO B [... read more]E !!!!
