Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: not good

we had ants little red ones in our room they we in our clothes , bed we fought with them for 3 days about it then came and sprayed raid finally the third day they move us to a new room got up the next day and that room had ants on the balcony going up the wall this ones were black then came and fumigated our balcony so it was fine after that

Grand Riviera Princess: Great Resort

Grounds are beautiful and very well kept. Beach is sandy for most part but a bit rocky in places. Staff are wonderful. Rooms are beautiful, very clean. Resort is very large a lot of walking required. Buffets are very good, lots of variety. No issues booking al la carte's, we could do as many as we wanted without question.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: good value

Good value for your money. Rooms were clean but dated. It is large resort that is well maintained and helpful staff. This is not a quiet resort, lots of party people late at night in hallways and in neighboring suites. This is also very fat from the beach, shuttles are provided which usual 5 to 10 mins wait.

Grand Sunset Princess: Amazing resort

We will go back to this resort and strongly recommended this resort to anybody. Everything was perfect except for the beach, (lost of weeds, the bottom was very rough) and the shuttle was never or time.

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Great value!

Very nice hotel. The rooms are a bit dated, but the cost was low. The food, service, and pools were great. The beach leaves a bit to be desired, rocky and a rough ocean. I can do without the nickel and diming: charging for a room safe was ridiculous, never experienced that EVER.Also, in this day and age, I would think that WIFI should be freely available, which it was not.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Beautiful Resort!

Grounds were impeccable, food choices at Yucatan buffet were endless. The "A la carte" restaurants were amazing. The only negative point is the air conditioning in the rooms; this needs to be improved.

Grand Palladium Colonial: Great resort

The hotel was a good hotel the only thing that I did not like was the lack of internet. The entire time I was there i was unable to connect to the internet and the people at the front were not able to connect me either. I was not the only one who had problems with it. Other than that the hotel was great! I will definitly be using tripcentral to book future trips!

Grand Palladium Kantenah: everything and more!

Pulling up to the resort it looks like paradise. With flamingos and a river in the front. Activities are endless and there is something for all ages with different resorts to enjoy. As far as dining goes, the options are endless between the buffets and the restaurants.

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Far from 5 star.

I read a review on trip advisor which sugested to to ignore the negative reviews and i thought yeh, people expect too much sometimes. I had average expectations and still was disappointed. Paid for air transat Mirage package 1 week end of march 2015 Separate check in, cool drink and towel never happened as advertised. The hotel pushes the time shares so much i avoided the concierge desk after the second day as well as ignore the 8 am ph calls from them. The beach stinks from all the rotting sea [... read more]weed the staff attempts to bury and swimming is near impossible with it in the water. The seaweed went as far as the roped boundary a dock or a platform away from the beach would be a great idea No beach, so i go to the pool and hang out for about 4 hours (near the washrooms). during that time only a dozen out of 60 to 80 people went to the washrooms. With the wind from the south at times you could smell sewage Food.... just think of hospital cafeteria food and you get the idea. not much of a selection if you don't get there within the first hour. A food safe course needs to be administered to the staff. room service food is wilted and luke warm, not a big selection Big resort and i don't mind walking however the shuttle carts were rarely available if you wern't a time share owner. My complimentary tequila froze solid in my freezer at home.

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Above expectations

Although we changed our destination to the Melia Peurto Vallarta, this hotel was also above our expectations. The grounds and pool were immaculate and beautiful, the staff upgraded our room to what we requested and we never had a bad experience with food or service the entire time of our 10 day stay. We would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely consider going back. Trip Central was very helpful and eager to satisfy us in our request for the changes.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Not bad

My husband got food poisoning after our first night. I recommend you take durokol before you go. Also, we are used to cruise buffets where they make you sanitize your hands before you eat. This is not a requirement, thus, easy to transfer germs. In comparison to cruise ship buffets, both Tulum and Coba buffets were not as good. Aside from that, the resort is not bad. We chose Tulum over Coba because it is right on the beach and I'm glad we did. Coba is busier because most of the restaurants are  [... read more]there. You cannot snorkel as the waters are too rough. They have tennis courts & bicycles available but you have to book 1 day in advance. If we were to go back, I would aim for Akumal as it is the luxury version and on the beach, plus you have access to all 4 resorts & a la cartes whereas Tulum and Coba resorts only has access to each other and not Akumal nor Sian Kaan, and a limit on the number of a la cartes. We also found the service was not really consistent throughout Tulum/Coba.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Amazing resort awesome price

The grounds at Bahia Principe Sian Ka'an are very attractive with lots of wildlife and prestige surroundings. The rooms are very nice and the bed is very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the food and drinks are excellent....

Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: Great Time!!!

The grounds at this resort are beautiful. There is lots of wildlife and the ground are very lush with greenery. Everything is really spread out so if you mind walking this is not for you. We enjoyed the pool, beach, food, and we met lots of great people.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Resort Ok

Was at this resort April 23rd to 30th. This was my 7th time in Maya Riviera and I have to say this was, at the most a 4 star resort. The food was good, the grounds were very clean. The beach was murky. This was disappointing. There was occasionally a foul smell throughout the resort. I had a good time but I will not go back to this resort, however I will go back to the Maya Riviera.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: amazing resort with lots to do and very clean

The hotel grounds are pristine with a lot of attention to detail. Rooms are amazingly clean and so are the dining rooms which have a lovely décor. The public area is kept very clean and has lots of seating, lots of bars close by and the entertainment was very good as well. Transportation on the resort is efficient getting you from Tulum to Coba resort without delay. We will be back, no question.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Great holiday!!!

The staff were very accommodating and friendly and the rooms were very clean. I found the resort to be a bit too big for my liking. I mean it was good walking but lots of things were farther than I would have liked. The kids club however was AMAZING!!!! For the kids. They had a blast there and I couldn't get them out. They always had activities for them and made them feel comfortable. They came back every day with something new that they made or did. They take them for lunch and dinner and you pick them up when ever you want, but I will say they won't leave till the very last minute lol. I would say that I would have liked to have heard a lot more Spanish music than American. I can hear that anytime, when I go to Mexico or Dominican or other places like that, I want to hear the music from their culture for a week so I can get cometely submerged in the vacation. The other thing would be that they need to upgrade the bathtubs as they are not in the best shape. I was also told that I would have a pool view room and that wasn't the case when we got to our room. With that aside the food was pretty good and the service was good.

Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen: Great trip, convenient location!

Amazing food experience as all my trips to Mexico have been! Sweet location right beside 5th Avenue! Beach had hurricane damage so not swimmable, service decent, rooms pretty small though, extra annoying time share people but overall great trip!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great resort

This was my second time at the resort. Service is great and food is amazing. The rooms are nice and modern. You have a little car/bus driving right at the beach as the resort is not beach front. It's adult only so very peaceful. There is a beach reserved just for the guests where you may have service of drinks brought to your beach chairs. Beach is nice and water is clear, the sand is not rough. The thing I did not like we're that there a water leak in my room, they sent someone is to fix this r [... read more]ight away however they did not offer a change for another room or anythingg complimentary. The ceiling in the bathroom was not that nice as I imagine they could only finish the reprairs once the room was vacated. Also in the restaurants they could of added more AC.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Wonderful Resort.

This was an awesome resort. We have traveled to Mexico 4 previous times and this was by far our favorite. Clean rooms, grounds and public areas. The buffet food was excellent with lots of variety. Tried two a la cartes which we enjoyed. The pool was like bath water and never found it crowded or difficult to find a lounge. Yes there is lots of walking if your room is not near the main lobby. However the trolley comes frequently if you wish to ride. We are both in our early 60's and walked most of [... read more] the time. The butler service was excellent. Staff all courteous, friendly and helpful. The only downside was the 1 1/2 hour bus ride from the airport to the resort. But the bus was comfortable with no incessant talking by the tour people.

Grand Palladium Colonial: nice resort

Beautiful resort and grounds but a lot of walking to get from place to place' Had problems with being picked up for a tour at 2pm .they never showed up and we had to go to the rep. 3 times plus the hotel desk before we had any help and no one would take responsibility .It wasted a couple of hours we could have enjoyed on beach .We were also told the travel club presentation would be no longer than90 min. and 3 hrs. later we were still there.This seemed to take away from our vacation time.
