Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Fantastic time just the right balance sun & fun

From the start we knew we would love our vacation- breeze to check in with personal service, a quick walk to a Beautiful room with the walkout pool . Great buffet -swim up bar with smiling services . Restaurant all of them never disappointed us.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Great Resort!

Food was great at all restaurants we had a chance to try. Buffet had an awesome variety. Entertainment every night was good and we really liked that fact that it was all in the open air areas where you could watch from the al a carte restaurants or from the comfort of your room if you had a room in the main building facing the pool/ocean. Resort was really clean for the most part, but there are still some small glitches with a new building which are being sorted out. Beach was not swimmable due  [... read more]to high amounts of seaweed - not sure if that's a one time event or something that is chronic. Sand beach area was nice and wide, but could have used a nightly raking to keep it clean but we were there during a very busy time which was difficult to keep up with when it came to fast service and ultimate cleanliness with the resort being at 100% capacity during the easter weekend. We would go again for the close location to the Cancun airport, the food, the comfort of the rooms/beds and the entertainment quality. If its beach swimming you are looking for this is not the resort for you.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: this was by far the worst place I have stayed at

Don't go here big waste of money. We experienced nothing but problems with our rooms we were three couples in same building and all of us experienced the same problems. Backed up toilets safes wouldn't open hot water in shower did work balcony was rotted and not attached to the building

Catalonia Yucatan: very good resort

On the whole is very good , but it divide a lot of different category. Very confusing. The beach had lots of sea weed, so much one can't swim there. First day , safety box was not working. I have my value there and can't open it. Reception desk said the guy will come to fix it in 10 min. I was waiting in my room for more than an hour. Because of waiting I miss My breakfast.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great holiday

The grounds and buildings were very clean, not all rooms had good air conditioning had to request to be moved due to poor A/C in our first room, the food was excellent, the service was very good, enjoyed talking with employees at the resort.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Amazing resort!

We travelled to Blue Bay with two other couples and had a wonderful week.The hotel is clean and spacious. The grounds and beach are beautiful and very well maintained. The food was very good and a great selection to choose from. Reading many reviews before we visited I was not sure what to expect. Many complaints about the seaweed on the beach as we all know this is natural. We were given the opportunity to visit the sister hotel Blue Diamond for a couple of days. WOW if you have the chance I strongly recommend you visit there. It is five star all the way!! Thank you Walter at the concierge desk for providing us this opportunity. Blue Bay is large but very easy to get around we never had to wait any longer than five minutes for a drive. The signage is excellent so even someone like myself who is not good with following directions it was very easy. Do not go on your patio without your door card and shut the door or you will be locked out. If you do not want the animals visiting you on your deck do not feed them. I have not one negative thing to say regarding our week at these two beautiful facilities. I can not say enough good about the amazing staff at these two resorts.a special shout out to Alberto and Victor who served us breakfast and dinner daily also provided me with salt for my sore throat. Thank you to Nacho at DiveX for the great day on the water and his very interesting stories. We have travelled south for many years and different destinations these two facilities rank in the top. As this review may sound great to the giant company that is the owner of these fine hotels never forget it is the STAFF that make these two place not just another southern destination!

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Fabulopus Vacation!!!

Check In: was efficient and fast. Bell Boy / Driver was super duper friendly. Hotel: Was one of the most well kept hotels I have ever stayed at. Rooms were spotless, towels were replaced daily, fridge was re stalked everyday with beer, water and pop. Beautiful towel creatures made with real flowers tucked in every day. Early in the morning [... read more] the staff was cleaning pools, spotless spotless! The Pools :were so clean and gorgeous! The Beach: was amazing and clean. There was a bit of seaweed but again there were workers cleaning it up .The Buffet: You were given a huge variety of different foods to choose from. Everything was warm and extremely yummy! Walter who booked our Specialty Restaurants was amazing juggling our group of 11 around so we all could get the same time to eat together. The Specialty Restaurants: Staff and waiters went above and beyond to make you feel welcome and made sure you had everything you needed . Bartenders: Were superstars the were like energy bunnies making sure everybody had a drink in hand. Activity Staff: Wow what incredible fun energetic people! What a wonderful fun exciting trip! We will recommend this resort to our friends and will for sure come back :)

Blue Diamond Luxury Boutique Hotel: Paradise

My wife and I were very please with everything. There was so much to be grateful for such as the beautiful manicured surroundings, very kind and ever pleasing staff, best food ever, not one issue. You can always find issues if you you go looking for them but all the others positives outweighed any small so called problem that may occur. Its a different layout than the traditional oceanfront rooms, but they will come pick you up to take you to the beachfront just call them they are there within 5 [... read more] minutes or start walking they will stop for you as they pass back and forth. We had the standard room called the junior patio suites and it was much more than standard, far exceeded out expectations. The bartenders and waiters remember you and always are making your day a great one. The beach has some seaweed but the staff was there each day to remove it, most well kept beach on the strip!! Didn't hear really anyone complaining other than that one washroom was out of service for a few days, there were plenty others to use so like I said look at all the positives.

Platinum Yucatan Princess: The Best Resoret I've ever been at

This was my 31st trip and let me tell you, the resort was nothing but amazing. Rooms are nice and big, food is excellent and service, top notch. I would recommend this resort in a heart beat. The negative, Sunwing.. 2 hour bus ride to the hotel from the airport as we are the last ones dropped off, and no champagne service upon arrival as noted in the brochure. Second time in 3 years I have flown Sunwing and both time we had old planes which broke down. Will consider not using Sunwing again.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: This is the place when travelling with kids

Wonderful! From Paulina at the palms swim up bar to Our personal butler Joao our experience was 5 stars. On this trip I was traveling with my 18 month old son. They take as much care in preparing his food as they do my own. They set my room up with a high chair, baby monitor, sterilizer, step stool and crib. Everyone's response to any request is "my pleasure". This is truly a wonderful resort, they think of everything and treat you like family! We will absolutely return

Grand Sunset Princess: Great resort -- bring water shoes for the beach

This resort is beautiful. Grounds are impeccable, pools stunning, beach beautiful, staff helpful. Buffets are meh, a la cartes were decent. Bring water shoes for beach swimming as there are some small, rounded rocks and shoes make for a more comfortable experience. We are a 20-something married couple and had a swim-up room in the Family Club which we HIGHLY recommend as it was a beautiful room but boarding on a very quiet pool with quiet neighbours and a very nearby bar. There is a little shuttle, but walking was faster.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Amazing

The hotel is nice the people on staff were very courteous and helpful special shout out to Orlando and Gustavo best bar tenders in Mexico The restaurants are also very delicious the swim up bar works very well in it's location

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Amazing Resort

We have stayed at Bahia Principe Tulum last year and loved the fact that we could stay at one resort and use the Akemal and the Coba. So we decided to try the Coba. The rooms were large and spacious, the beach was great. The property was beautifully kept and we found the animals roaming around were comical! The food was great as were the workers. By staying here, and being able to use the other properties, we found it was like having three mini holidays. Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Very Good

Food was great. Tulum is a very large resort compared to Akumal where I have stayed before. The beach does have issues with continuous sea weed daily. They try very hard to clear it but it is an ongoing battle.

Paraiso de la Bonita: Heavenly for honeymooners

I think this place is perfect for honeymooners or babymooners, or anyone who wants a luxurious relaxing stay. Beds are super comfortable, rooms are large, all suites face the ocean for beautiful sunrise photos, and food is excellent organic quality. Lots of creatures such as parrots, macaws, iguanas, peacocks and coatis. Maid service 3x a day, Bulgari White Tea toiletries, a bottle of tequila to welcome you, and fantastic room service. Allegro Playacar: Perfect Location

Great Location, Perfect Beach, good food, Manager was not accomodating at all. Travelling with another relative, put them three buildings away from us, ridiculous!! and I had highly recommended this resort as I had been twice before. will NOT go back now. This trip ruined it for me. People on my bus got the room next to me, why not my relative? Seriously ridiculous, will not be going back. Skipped cleaning my room 2 days, never replenished my mini fridge.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Wonderful! Will be going back

What a great spot! Lots for the entire family to do, great food, comfortable rooms, clean and well kept rooms and top notch service. We had everything we needed in one great resort. Lots of dining options and areas for drinks so you did not feel the crowd of people. Well spread out and managed.

The pools were awesome for both adults and the kids. The beach was rocky and not cleaned at all. Beach bar was dirt. Other than that the food was good. Nice area. Don't go for "free shopping ". Things are 100 times more than the regular price. They don't really show anything at the silver factory. Also, don't get caught up and waste time with the time share people or real estate agents, unless you're interested

Had a superb week at the Gran Bahia Principe Coba like always! The staff, the food, the activities, the entertainment, the SPA, the golf, everything was off the charts! A definite place we will return to in the future i.e. Very Soon!!!!!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Second visit to Grand Bahia

Although this hotel was big it didn't take long to find our way around. There was a variety of food and restaurants available. The one downfall would be the beach and the sea weed washed ashore. There was a shortage of pool chairs and even though there were signs posted that you couldn't reserve them there was no one there to enforce this. The staff were friendly and the rooms cleaned and well maintained.
