Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Simply Amazing!

This was our first time in the Dominican. We traveled without our children but with 3 other couples. The food was absolutely amazing. The service was great. The rooms and the resort were very clean. There was lots of staff always around if you needed something. Over all it was great and I would recommend it even with children.

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Great week great place

The hotel was amazing. Great staff, always friendly and helpful. Food quality and selection are topnotch. Grounds,pools,rooms and beach all well kep't . Nothing negative to say. Lots of things to do. Loved the shows.

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Good Resort

Grounds were clean, staff friendly. buffet food was ok if you searched out something you could eat. Ala carte was better. very busy and loud beach. not a place for a quiet holiday. lots of young families.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Love it

This resort is just excellent!!! Me and my wife arrived on January 22/16 for 7 days.The staff are very friendly the food is excellent .. The beach was amazing and the pool.We absolutely LOVE IT will go again ...

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: love this resort

The food is fantastic...the grounds are beautiful and the resort itself is so pretty.and .very clean. The staff really go out of their way to make you welcome. We upgraded to the honeymoon suite...worth every penny.

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Great Everything!!!!!!!

We stayed January 2016, the overall resort is fantastic. Lovely grounds well maintained, the staff is excellent, especially Luis from the entertainment team. The food we thought was great, good selection and flavour. The buffet is big, get the pizza!! The beach is cleaned of seaweed all the time. Room for great walks and the sales people don't bother you if your not interested. What a fantastic trip!!!

Dreams Huatulco: Expected more

Arrived at hotel with no problem,had to change room because we had booked a king bed. Staff made the effort. We had booked an ocean view and was disappointed that we paid more, partial views were as good at lower cost. Ended up being transferred to Secrets Huatulco,it is the same chain,we were happier there. Have been to quite a few all inclusives and this was not the top of the list.Staff overall friendly but lacked just a little bit of enthusiasm. I am sure I am not the only one who would like to have the hotels enforce a rule for reserving chairs and controlling unwanted noise coming from guests whose idea of a good time is standing around the bar drinking all day and being loud.We are already booking for September to the resort we feel is the best, but we will not divulge the location, we only recommend it to respectful quiet people.After reading the reviews before booking I think the opinion of many was overrated.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: My favourite place to stay in the DR

I loved it all. Friendly layout, great food and fantastic staff. Try a Honeymoon Suite with a Butler. Yunior is the BEST. Have a few "Iceburgs" by th pool you won't regret it. Our second visit and I see a another visit in the near future.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Great stay

We went here for a wedding. This resort is older and the rooms need updating. With that being said, the grounds were perfect and maintained beautifully. The area for the ceremony was gorgeous. The beach and pool area was perfect and the food was decent. My only major complaint was that my stay was certainly not worth the amount that I spent. The room service was also very spotty, every one with our group seemed to get different perks, while others couldn't get clean towels.

Dreams Huatulco: Amazing view and amazing place to stay

Beautiful view of pools and ocean. Very clean beach , pool , resort. Good selection of beer and alcoholic drinks, bartenders were very good , staff for throughout the resort were awesome. We will be returning

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Dreams Punta Cana

The resort was wonderful, picturesque and very clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms were very clean, a bit dated but comfortable. The beach was great, plenty of longer chairs with good service. Food was great, good selection of restaurants. Evening entertainment was not the greatest but there was nightly dancing with Latin music.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Inconsistent but still nice

This was my fourth trip to Punta Cana and was the least impressive resort. The food and restaurant service was excellent. The beach was mediocre in comparison to others in DR and our group retrieved several broken glasses and a board with nails from the ocean. We missed having room service for one day so prepared for a wedding with wet towels. After three calls to the front desk that our refrigerator wasn't working, we just gave up. It's just the small attention to details that would lift this r [... read more]esort to a true 4 star resort. I can't highly recommend this resort when I have stayed at three that are much nicer.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Nice resort

The coupons that were given weren't really a deal. They offered a $100 off but only on services that were at least double the price in Canada with only have the actually results. The housekeeping was great the first couple of days and then it slowly died. We were also tipi g everyday so I shouldn't of tipped at all and saved the money. The food was ok but not great with the exception of two of the restaurants. our first day we were con into visiting another resort to buy memberships and laughed  [... read more]at the price we did pay by using a travel agency and then became very angry when we were not interested.. They first told us 10 mins of our time then 9 mins and it ended up being 4 hours. The hotel employee offered cigars at a great price $100 a box and we gave him money and got fake cigars that they were selling on the beach for $20. The hotel offered a upgrade for a special price. We accepted and paid but then later was told they didn't charge enough and denied us access to leave without paying another $100 US.

Dreams Huatulco: Excellent family vacation

Beautiful hotel and grounds, everything in good repair, very clean, and well landscaped. The resort is small and well laid out so that everything is easily accessible. Rooms were very nice & spacious, beds were nothing special but not uncomfortable. There are beautiful ocean views from most rooms. Daily cleaning and turn down services are very good - we found the hotel to exceptionally clean - I should especially note the poolside bathrooms, the staff who cleaned these did an amazing job of keep [... read more]ing them clean and dry! Restaurants (both buffets and a la cartes) were very clean and we didn't have any trouble getting a table for any meal at any of the a la cartes. Service was a little slow at the a la cartes and wait staff seemed stretched a little thin during dinner service, breakfast and lunch were generally much more leisurely and we felt very well looked after - wait staff were always exceptional during these meals. The food in the breakfast and lunch buffets (both the world cafe and the seaside grill) is exceptional if you enjoy Mexican food - if you prefer to stick to american favourites I can't comment on that food, we enjoyed the Mexican food so much! We found the food in the a la carte's to be average - not as good as you might expect if you have stayed in other Dreams properties, but not bad. Truthfully, we found the food at the buffet to be better quality and flavour than any of our a la carte experiences. We enjoyed the coco coffee bar very much as well for a daily latte but these are also available on request at the buffets. If you need to use room service the food was good and service was very quick. We travelled with children and didn't attend any of the evening entertainment but we cannot express enough how wonderful the explorers club is! Our daughter loved every minute she spent there - the staff were very warm and friendly and they kept the kids engaged with a variety of activities every day. Our daughter said it felt like going to summer camp in Mexico! The pools are fantastic - more than enough pool side chairs to go around. The infinity pools along the beach were our favourite but the pool near the Seaside Grill/Oceano was perfect for the afternoon if you wanted a reprieve from the heat. The towels are easily accessible and plentiful. The poolside bars are great - the servers are friendly and drinks are cold. The beach is beautiful, pristine golden sand and crystal clear water. The slope of the beach is more gentle than other places on the same bay but getting in and out of the water could be a challenge depending on the waves! Some days the water was very calm and others it was quite wavy but there is a rapid drop in depth along with shore break that make this beach unsuitable for young children to wade without an adult holding them. There is some good snorkeling along the rock formations between Dreams and the next resort. Overall we enjoyed our experience very very much and we cannot say thank you enough to every staff person at Dreams Huatulco who made our trip so amazing!

Dreams Huatulco: Terrific and Relaxing

As a first timer to this resort my wife, son and i were very happy with all of our accommodations. Our balcony had an ocean view and we spent a few nights sipping cervezas and listening to the ocean from it. The Mexican fiesta night was truly great as was the Mexican a la carte restaurant. The other a la cartes were fine but not nearly as memorable. The buffet and seaside eatery were always well stocked and rotated great stuff. We ate tacos every day! The staff was great and never had any issues [... read more] when we approached anyone for any reason. Isreal, a waiter, was a blast around the pool.

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Dreams palm beach punta cana

Amazing resort great food fantastic pools beach and amazing staff. Luis Power and Gasolina were great people very funny and if you needed anything they were ready to help in any way. Great foam pool party and great saxophonist player.

Dreams La Romana: Great resort

it is a great resort, its our third time here will come back again we have 8 year old daughter she had a grate time as well in kids club Entertament could be better.....................................................................................................

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: 2 weeks of unforgeable stay at Dreams Puerto Av!

Excellent resort to relax, to snorkel and very enjoyable for kids. Good location to reach interesting places like Xcaret, Tulum ruins and etc. Very friendly stuff, amazing activities and tasty food! We would return and recommend to our friends!

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Great time!

The hotel room we had was a bit tired however the overall grounds were gorgeous and lush. The pool was fabulous and the food was the best we've ever had at an all inclusive. Would definitely come back again.

Fiesta Americana Riviera Nayarit: Good resort

We stayed at the Villamagna Resort from Dec 8-15. The resort itself is very clean with beautiful grounds. Room: We upgrade to the preferred floor which are floors 7 & 8 ocean view. The upgrade was only $35 extra per night. We thought it was worth it because you had your own personal bar with top shelf liquor and daily snacks that no one else gets to have. The room was very spacious with a gorgeous view. We stayed in room 1812. The only downside of the room was the sheets! They are polyester so b [... read more]e prepared to sweat as soon as you lie down in them. Quite gross in my opinion. After a couple nights, we layed on top of the top sheet as it seemed better this way. I believe they put a plastic liner below the sheets too which doesn't help. For a dreams resort, I feel this should have been better. Another downside is that the housekeeping only brought wash cloths ONCE. That was it. They actually forgot to give us bath towels another time and I had to call down. We were sure to leave the maid a tip daily too so not sure why she was was so frugal. Otherwise, the room was perfect. Grounds: Very clean and beautiful. This is something they pride themselves in. It is extremely well kept. There are three pools to choose from and two bars. There are hammocks to relax on too. The beach area is very nice but does have the peddlers out there trying to sell you stuff. The beach is a swimmable beach. The waves can get huge so you need to be careful but we enjoyed swimming in the ocean very much in front of the resort. Service: Unbelievable! They have excellent service. Always someone coming by asking you for a drink or if you need anything. Food: Very good. Our favourite was Portofino and Seaside Grill. Seaside Grill has an amazing filet mignon. Again, excellent service at all restaurants. We personally don't like buffet so we only had buffet at breakfast. It was decent. Drinks: Top shelf liquor if you ask for it. A lot of assortment. Very good choices. The only downside is they never give you a straw unless you ask for it. Perhaps this is an eco friendly thing.... Overall: we would go back!
