Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Amazing Resort after check-in

We had a very unfortunate interaction with staff during checkin that got the vacation off to a bad start. After that, all I can say is that the Dreams Royal Beach Resort in Punta Cana is A-1! The rooms were beautiful and clean. The beach was lovely with tons of seating. The restaurants were some of the best we’ve ever been to and we cannot say enough about the incredible staff. So pleasant and always making sure we were looked after! Thank you Dreams (except during checkin)!

Majestic Mirage Punta Cana All Suite Resort: Excellent Resort!

This was our second time at the Majestic Mirage and we loved it even more than the first time. The food was awesome and lots to choose from. The a la carte's were perfection. The service is impeccable including our wonderful butler Alexander at the Mirage Club. The rooms were spacious and clean. We had the swim up room, it's a must have! Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Relaxing

The pool was great and lots of chairs. Most of the time we could get some. Beach was awesome and close. We like how pool and beach were close to rooms. Buffet was Ok, decent variety. Close restaurants were ok but all similar. We were expecting all inclusive but some restaurants charged for a reservation. Make sure you take an adapter for the AC outlets as they do not accept 3 prong plugs. Rooms had the typical smell. Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: great resort

the grounds are beautiful and well kept, however we were not impressed by the room. It need some care... especially the bath room. Every time you use the shower, lots of water spilled on the floor, making getting out of the tub very unsafe. just a half sheet of partition provide. the soaker tub was unusable, it drain could not be plugged, to be filled. The shower heads were not good at all, sprayed water every where with too much force. Even the hand held hose was not good. Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Beautiful resort!

Majestic Elegance is really beautiful. The resort and beach are super clean. The rooms are nice and large. It's a large place but most restaurants are in a general location and easily reached. Multiple bars to choose from at various locations. The staff really makes the place the best.

Impressive Punta Cana: Very Good Value

We were led to believe the resort was recently renovated. It may have been but the areas of the resort we had access to have not been renovated for quite a while. There are far too many restaurants, bars, pools, beach area, etc... that you do not have access to unless you are Impressive Premium. It is a good resort and the staff were amazing but it is a 3.5 star if you take the overall experience into account.

VIK Hotel Arena Blanca: Quiet resort

If you are looking to really relax Vik hotel is an excellent option. It was clean and the main pool was very nice. Food was decent enough and the drinks were good. There was not much entertainment nor Latin music by the pool. All in all a nice relaxing vacation.

Secrets Tides Punta Cana: Amazing time at a fantastic resort

Simply put, the resort is beautiful. It is well laid out, just over a year old with nice modern touches, fantastic pools and a great beach. There are plenty of bars throughout the resort to keep you hydrated and lots of places to keep your belly filled! And the staff are all super attentive and polite. We're hoping to go back next year!

Secrets Royal Beach: This hidden gem is a 10/10!

We had a great stay at this resort. Amazing food at the buffet and a la carte restaurants. Staff are wonderful! We will definitely go back! The beach is beautiful and the service is awesome. The rooms were great and the resort was clean and very well kept. The entertainment was top notch and worth seeing every night. I can’t wait to visit this resort again.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great place

This was our first tome at this resort but will not be our last. The resort was a great place. Everything was clean and well kept, the service from the staff is amazing, food was amazing and the beach and pools were great. This was not an overly party resort which we liked. If I HAD to nitpick the only complaint was that some of the buffet food was not labeled. Aside from that everything was really great

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: 99% of the Staff are Awesome

I have been to many properties in Punta Cana, but this hotel was one I had not visited yet. Most of the staff are awesome, and the food was definitely good. I prefer smaller hotels, so I would not return to this property. It is really four different resorts in one, making it HUGE. My biggest complaint is the loud shouting and music around the main pool. We were on a couple's getaway, looking for a quieter atmosphere.

Secrets Tides Punta Cana: Beautiful Resort!

This resort is top notch! The place is beautiful! Beach is so nice, and ocean was great for swimming! Pools were great and you Never had to worry about lounge chairs as there is never any issue getting chairs. No having to worry about saving a chair early in the day. Drinks are made to order and are very good! Food was excellent and best buffet I have ever experienced. Great that the only one restaurant (Japanese) required reservations. All the rest first come first serve and we only ever [... read more] had to wait maybe 20 minutes. Service was very good, and all the staff were pleasant. Only issue was during our stay there was a large corporate conference that at times took up portions of the resort without prior notice. We were not permitted access to these areas during these times (ie. certain restaurants, bars and pool, beach areas). Overall, I would recommend and return to this resort.

Impressive Punta Cana: Beautiful Resort

This resort is a proven winner. It has everything needed for a fun packed, yet restful vacation. The rooms are clean; the mattresses are comfortable with the exception of the pillows; they are too hard. The buffet serves an immense variety of food for all tastes and ages. But there is not only the main buffet, but there are also mini buffets near the pools and beach that serve pizza, tacos, etc. Plus, there are 4 alla carte restaurants to choose from. If you so wish to participate in any of the many day and evening activities, the chose is yours or you can simply relax on a beautiful palm tree beach. The beach goes for miles. On site you will find all the information for off-site tours, and they are well priced. We did the Catamaran tour to Soana Island and would definitely recommend it. I will not hesitate to recommend the Impressive Punta Cana to any of my friends.

We like resort beaches, rooms , dining, cleanness, food, very friendly staff. ============================================================ We enjoyed our stay, would definitely recommend this resort.

Riu Bambu: Will not return

Grounds were fine, roaches were in our room 2 nights out of our stay, service at the bar was amazing the first 2 days after that we pretty much had to beg for service an mind you, we were tipping at the bars and chatting up the bartenders best we could in spanish. Food was not good. On the third day our party of 13 people were all stuck on the toilet which was scary because we were afraid to eat the rest of the trip or just didnt have an appetite. Some of us took taxis off the resort to get kfc [... read more] because the food was that bad. One of our group had jewelry stolen from the room and had to dedicate 3 days to get resolved and the hotel gave a hard time before agreeing to accompany the guest to the police station to make a report. The beach is public and almost every day we were accosted by locals trying to sell us drugs!?? I think the best parts of this vacation was the off resort excursions we did. Doom buggys and a party boat. First and last time for us in punta cana. Probably one of the worst vacations to date.

TRS Turquesa: Great Adult Retreat

We are seasoned travelers to this resort and we find it suits our tastes for a vacation, nice swim up room, lovely beach to walk on and it gives total relaxation. Upon arrival at your room you are greeted by a Butler who gives you a rundown of things you need to know. Very attentive The grounds of this resort are immaculate - lovely to walk around and enjoy the flowering bushes - just the total ambience gives you a lift for total relaxation Our room was well kept, very clean and well maintained and the housekeeping staff was very good as well as the night staff for turn downs. We had ample towels. No complaints. The fridge was stocked every day with want we requested There are all types of activities that are posted each day.......They have a Casino which is fun that we went to almost every night after dinner. We met some great people and had lots of fun. In the Swim-Up Pool area - there is bar that will serve you all types of liquor and specialty drinks - so convenient Plus they have introduced a "Food Truck" that features hamburgers and hot dogs - nice touch if you are not wanting to go to the Helios or Capricho or the Grill for lunch - it was a great gathering place to chat with other vacationers TRS has 5 restaurants on the property, but you can also reserve at the other resorts as well. Capricho - we tend to have breakfast and lunch here - it is buffet style but a huge variety of food for everyone's tastes - lovely breads, omelets, fruits and cheese, cold meats, lovely desserts etc. Testrizone - this is a new one for us and was during the evening hours where the menu was varied - Pizzas - quite good, Pasta - Ravioli was excellent and the grouper was outstanding La Boehem (French) - has been updated in decor which was nice and the food choices were very good depending on what is your preference Kuscko - Asian - if you like sushi - one of the best we have eaten- their 'starts" & appetizers were tasty Helios - we went for dinner - lovely atmosphere by the beach and the food was good especially the soup The other restaurants - Bamboo - it was really crowded and busy when we went - but the Salad bar was well presented and tasty - the staff we were not impressed with or the main course El Eldorao - a total disappointment - the salad bar is sub par - this restaurant is old and very tired - it definitely needs to be revamped and upgraded in decor and also their menu - we were not impressed at all but my husband said the steak was good Our recommendation is that you leave tips for the waiters, cleaning staff, butler and bartenders - they really appreciate the gesture and have a tendency to remember you and you will note the difference of service. It is nice to see their smiles of "thank you" from them As mentioned before, we have been here many times, and have seen changes for the good and some are questionable. Having said that, we will be returning. We had some hiccups, any resort has them, nothing is perfect. But was nice that they were resolved quickly.

Catalonia Bavaro Resort: Beautiful Resort!

This resort is immaculately maintained and is picture perfect to look at but the staff make it even better to stay at. The staff go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. If you need anything, all you have to do is ask and the staff make it their mission to accommodate you with a smile on their faces. The help desk is very helpful, the wait staff are always smiling and singing. The bar tenders will make you a myriad of drinks. The overall vibe of the resort is a large, sprawling hote [... read more]l but the staff treat you individually and make you feel seen and heard.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Excellent Adults Only Resort on Bavaro Beach

The Bahia Principe Ambar is a beautiful property, with lush landscaping and many amenities including a Gym and Spa.The rooms are modern and very clean. The dining options are numerous, International A La Carte Restaurants and The Palymra Buffet which offers a different theme of cuisine every night. The one thing that sets this resort apart is the Professional Entertainment they offer every day of the week. Looking forward to returning in 2026.

Iberostar Selection Bavaro Suites: Amazing Resort

This hotel has a beautiful property. There is plenty of lush gardens and palm trees. The rooms are very clean and the service is great. Food was very good in most restaurants, especially the gourmet restaurant in the Dominicana resort next door. The pools are clean and the beach is kept very clean as well.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Lovely resort!

I loved this resort. We had excellent service, and exceptional food. Everything was clean and well maintained! The staff were fun and engaging. The drinks were better at certain bars, but overall no complaints! Would definitely go back.
