Royalton CHIC Cancun: Loved our time at Royalton Cancun!

The beach and turquoise clear waters were amazing...beds and rooms were superb....the food was sooo good, the best all-inclusive food i have experienced at the Marche. There is no need to go to the a-la-cartes as you can get cooked to order eggs, stir fry, pasta, steaks, chicken, seafood, everything. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Our only concern/complaint is beach chairs - during american thanksgiving when the hotel was busy, we had to get up at 6am to claim a chair and spot on the [... read more] beach. Later in the week, at 7-7:30am. Not fun, but actually quite comical, all the guests up in the dark in their robes, setting their spots up, then back to bed until later. They need more chairs or a better system. All in all, a fabulous week and would go back in a heartbeat. Beautiful tasteful accommodations, great food, gorgeous sunsets and sunrises, beautiful beach for waking, aquafit classes were fun - all good.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Excellent value

This was our first visit to the Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa, but it won't be our last. Rooms were appointed with sleek, modern furnishings. We splurged on a swim up room, and were not disappointed. Food was surprisingly tasty for the D.R. The 3 pools and lazy river were immaculately kept. The beach was well maintained throughout the day but the undertow was strong so be aware. Royalton CHIC Cancun: Amazing Resort!

We just got back from a very restful week at the Royalton Suites Cancun. We were pleasantly surprised upon checking in, we received an upgrade to an ocean view room at no extra charge! Our room was modern and spacious along with a very large shower. Housekeeping was excellent and never missed a turndown. The food in the buffet was plentiful and lots of variety. We went to all the restaurants they were very good and we enjoyed the steakhouse more than once. We loved the cappuccino’s at the [... read more] coffee shop several times a day. The water, was crystal clear, and the beach, and sand was pristine. We will definitely be going back!

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Amazing resort

Royalton Hideaway Saint Lucia: Outstanding Vacation

We recently visited the Royalton Saint Lucia and were Hideaway guests. The vacation met our expectations and surpassed many. We have mixed reviews on the butler experience. We did not meet our butler until we went to the Hideaway desk and asked how it worked, which was the day after arrival (end of day). We then had 2 butlers, Monique was great, we joked that we knew when it was her day off when we didn't see a butler at all. He greeted us with a smile and many laughs at the end of each day. It is people like Chester and Monique that make a vacation very special indeed!! The amount of bars and restrooms throughout the pools and beach, and hang out spots were outstanding. No matter where you sat, you had both within a very short distance! A little far from Toronto to travel due to the 2 hours from Airport in Saint Lucia. We had delays at the Airport for both sides of our trip, which essentially made the trip almost 12 hrs....uggggg

Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa: Has great potential!

The hotel, rooms, location and beach were great! The beach was clean and the water was absolutely beautiful. We travelled as a group of 20 for a 25 year reunion. Having visited 2 other Royalton properties in the past (St. Lucia and Cancun) with exceptional experiences we had high hopes for this new Royalton resort being the right choice for our gathering. Although the facilities were very nice, service and food were far below our experience at the other Royalton properties. The buffet was reliab [... read more]le and generally delicious. The ala carte restaurants were generally lack lustre. Steaks were generally tough and over cooked and service was spotty at best and wait times quite long. Surf and Turf at the sea food restaurant included 4 small shrimp and 3 little pieces of dried out beef on a skewer. On more than one occasion restaurants ran out of items and the beach bar ran out of certain alcohols, mixers and even beer! Several people in our group up-graded to Diamond Club and the general consensus was that "it was not worth it." The Diamond club areas can and were easily accessed by all guests and service in these areas was no better than the rest of the resort. Our first two days in the Diamond Club beach area were unfortunately very disappointing from a service perspective. Not once were we asked if we would like drinks, we only saw a staff member collecting empty cups once and were forced to go to the bar area to get our own beverages. This really isn't acceptable for an all inclusive "5 star" hotel and most certainly not acceptable for the Diamond Club area of the resort. It should be noted that there did not appear to be a shortage of employees on the property... it simply appeared that they were more interested in talking amongst themselves and looking at their phones rather than attending to guests. There certainly were a few star employees. One example was an excellent waitress at the sports bar who was doing everything in her power to make our 2 hour wait for finger foods such as chicken wings at lunch time pass. She was obviously frustrated with the kitchen staff letting her down when there were very few guests in the restaurant at the time. Unfortunately, we cannot in good conscience recommend this Royalton property at this time. Visit their St . Lucia property instead...it was a night and day experience!

Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Beautiful Resort, But...

The Royalton Cayo Santa Maria is arguably the most beautiful resort in the Cayo Santa Maria area. The grounds are very lush and are extremely well maintained by the gardeners. The buildings are well maintained and attractive. Our room was very comfortable and clean, with excellent a/c, which is a must have in Cuba. Luigi, the General Manager, has been at the resort for only four weeks, but is present at least 16 hours a day. He is constantly interacting with the staff, as well as the guests, a [... read more]nd is extremely attentive. The Butler service is a nice touch, and they are willing to anything they can to help you enjoy your vacation. As for the beach, well you won't find a better one. It is gorgeous, with fine white sand, that stretches for about six kilometers. The servers are constantly looking after guests and seem truely pleased to do so. Rosemary, runs the quesadillas grill next to the beach bar at lunch, which is not to be missed. She does a fabulous job. The bars are all well stocked, and can make almost any drink you desire. The pina coladas are very good and don't taste artificial at all. The staff at all the bars are very pleasant and service is top notch. The one downfall to the resort, is the selection of food at the restaurants. It is very limited, and definitely needs improvement. However, a highlight in addition to the quesadillas, is the daily BBQ lunch next to the snack bar. The grill chef does a spectacular job, grilling up chicken, ribs, pork, rice, etc. You shouldn't miss it. Unfortunately, the other restaurants need to improve. If that were to happen, the Royalton would be an unbelievable value. Hopefully Luigi can make the changes necessary to achieve the resort's full potential. Overall we had a great time at the resort and I'm sure most people do. It would be great if they could improve the dining experience. Then they truly would deserve a 4.5 - 5 star rating.

Royalton Saint Lucia Resort and Spa: Beautiful Island. Amazing service

This was our first trip to St Lucia and we enjoyed every minute of the week we spent at Royalton. St Lucia is absolutely beautiful and the people were so friendly. We stayed at the Royalton Diamond club and I highly recommend it, it exceeded our expectations. We had an amazing week. The staff are friendly, grateful and enthusiastically willing to help. Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: One of the top resorts in Varadero if not Cuba

The resort lived up to my expectations and was in line with my research. This was my 5th time in Cuba and this was the best resort by far. I paid more than I used to but it was worth the overall value I got.

Royalton Hideaway Saint Lucia: Amazing Resort

Fantastic in every way but one. Hotel staff in all areas seem miserable and unwilling to help. Very slow, unapologetic service. The facility is amazing, rooms are spacious, food is all delicious. Bugs are outrageous. Way too many bites.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Beautiful Resort

Great resort, by far the best we’ve travelled to in the Dominican. The only downfall we encountered was there was very little options food wise for Gluten / Celiac persons. Room Service was offered and encouraged, although at times our orders never showed up. The resort overall was safe, although it was a concern when leaving our room early (6:15 am), all hallway lights, and resort lights were turned off and not on until 7:00 am. We had to use the light of our phones to walk from our room to the main building.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Lovely, lovely hotel!

This hotel was amazing. The staff was very welcoming and eager to please. The resort had a fair amount of maintenance occurring while we were there, but it was still extremely enjoyable and not at all inconvenient. The room was very nice and spacious. We will definitely return here and also highly recommend this place to our friends. It was a fairly quiet place to stay which for me, was what I needed.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Nice resort

This is a very well kept resort where everything is clean from the rooms to the beach and in between. Great service and very friendly staff pretty much in every area. Well trained to provide a "my pleasure " response to every thanks. Have no real complaints of any sort other than they have to find a better system for their coffee service in the buffet restaurant . Coffee only comes after many requests and usually only after the breakfast meal is either half done or done! Royalton CHIC Cancun: This not five stars hotel

This our first time in Cancun we loved Cancun nice city beautiful beach but we don’t think we will back to this hotel again: the reason 1) Our room had terrible smell, I cannot stop coughing and we were three people staying only one face towel, we almost every day call for face towels hand towels ...... 2)we paid $460 for tent for 5 days then they cut out the last day 3)also they try really hard push us to buy the time share it’s a nightmare, one lady manager has been really rude when w [... read more]e don’t want continued about 4) the restaurants food were not very good they have 8 restaurants we only like three of them the Asian food was worst one bad layout room they have big glass door to get in and table is front the door when each time people in or out the big cold drop wind blows to us they suppose has a Asian style screen in there and people walk through by sides. The food there was terrible the steak house waitress put a long face when we didn’t want a bottle wine..... we only like the Italy and Mexico restaurants The beach were very beautiful but water were too rough not good for swimming 🏊‍♀️ only one day was really nice we can swim there. Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Beautiful resort

The resort was beautiful and layed out well. There was something for all ages, gender etc. The swim up rooms were amazing! The only issue we had was work being done on the room above us and it took quite a bit of effort and time to have our room switched and there was no compensation. Disappointed by that but loved everything else. Food was fantastic!

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Good Resort

Every thing was very good Accept the room, No cold water In the washroom think, and after too many complaints, finally they send some body Saturday one day before we left and when we came the room and the washroom wasn't clean .

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Nice resort

Resort was beautiful, layout was little different more like a mall then a tropical resort. Food was good at typical royalton style. I have been to other royalton resorts and this was by far my least favourite. Entertainment looked liked it was at a high school level.

Royalton CHIC Cancun: Royalton Cancun

We decided on the Royalton Cancun Suites because of the exceptional treatment we received at the Royalton Blue Waters Jamaica Diamond Club earlier in the year when we treated my family , kids and grandkids . The Royalton Cancun did not disappoint . We had a group of 10 , all Diamond Club and all had a great time. If there's a criticism , it would be the Cancun Royalton charges for the beach cabanas which from an upgraded perspective is totally unacceptable. At no time in Jamaica did we pay for [... read more] a beach cabana! The butler service in Cancun was very good and extremely helpful. The food was terrific and the variety would please most vacationers. They still have some communications glitches they need to work out, however, all in all a wonderful birthday vacation!

Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa: Needs some work

The resort was beautiful! The grounds, rooms, pools etc were well kept, nice and clean. The food at the buffet was always good, but unfortunately it was just ok at the other restaurants. The biggest problem was the wait time at the restaurants. Seven of us went to the Score restaurant for lunch one day and I waited an hour and a half for a quesadilla, and others waited two hours for their wings. The overall service was mediocre, some staff were great but generally their was no desire to be accom [... read more]modating. (compared to the other Royaltons we've been too.) We were with a large group, so that did make some things more challenging, but we still had a great time. I think in a couple of years this resort will be great.

Royalton CHIC Cancun: This Resort needs to iron out some serious kinks

The hotel is very nice. When we first arrived we saw our butler & then never seen him after that. No communication whatsoever. The food was just OK at all the restaurants except for the buffets. They were the best. At all the restaurants we ordered but most of the time never got all that we ordered. Lack of communication between our order taker, the waiter & the cook. Some of the bartenders need to learn how to make good drinks. Hopefully that particular resort will eventually get better because [... read more] the grounds & beach are stunning. The waiters outside work very hard & they had good entertainment at night both outside & in the hotel.
